Google
Great casual spot to hang out and grab a bagel and coffee. 5.20 for a toasted bagel with cream cheese isn't the worst these days, but I did with it was toasted on the inside as it didn't have much of a crunch to it. My friend ordered the bagel with lox and they said it had a generous amount of lox, and it was very well put together. The serrano jack bagel was really good though despite this because the cheese gave it an extra crunch. I would NOT go here to buy a dozen though as there is basically no bundle pricing and who wants to pay $40 dollars for a dozen bagels? Come on. Look at any other bagel place and tell me why you warrant that pricing. Even DZ Akins, arguably the highest quality bagels in SD, are nowhere near that price for bulk pricing. Your eat-in toasted bagel serving price should not be the same as your bulk pricing to go.

Google
I ordered the chaggachino and frankly it wasn’t anything special. The coffee tasted whatever and it wasn’t as striking as the one I had at Brick and Bell in La Jolla. My friend ordered a green tea latte and was not really fond of it either. She also ordered a bagel sandwich which she said was okay tasting. This place looked better than what we had that day.

Google
I would say this was the funnest and most delicious coffee place I’ve ever been to and it blows Star bucks out of the water! I would say all the food was delicious but the hot chocolate was out of this world. I also tried their matcha latte and it was superb! Wish they had these in Florida!!!

Google
LOVE!! I was in the area and needed a space to get some work done in between appointments. The space is bright, spacious, and pleasant. I don't usually work in coffee shops but I very much enjoyed working there! Staff is professional and friendly. I got the San Diego breakfast sandwich and a latte with macadamia milk. Both were delicious. I will definitely come back!

Stopped by this coffee shop in Mission Valley after lunch—spacious, cozy, and great for working or studying. I had a decaf Cinna-Bee with almond milk, my mom a Chagaccino, and my husband a classic Americano. My drink was creamy, perfectly sweet, and full of flavor. Multiple locations (Seaport Village, PB, OB, Gaslamp)—definitely worth a try!

Google
The pumpkin pie cold brew was delicious along with the everything bagel sandwich. The staff were so nice and loved the vibe of the coffee shop!

Google
Hands down…my new favorite breakfast spot. Coffee is on point…and definitely try the best bagel sandwich around - the McLovin. It’s big enough that we typically share one. The staff here is friendly, professional and the building itself is fun and modern. Great place to plug in and get work done as well!

Google
excellent first time experience!! happened to be in the area and had time to check it out, I was satisfied with the service, the quality of food and beverage and the space to enjoy it all. My personal litmus test for coffee places will always be the taste of a (hot) Americano. And this one was among the best on my list! The Lox, Stock & (sesame) Bagel sando was so fresh and tasty!! The sesame bagel I chose, as I understood was made in house, was delicious and also so fresh and abundant with sesame seeds!!! I'm definitely going to make time for another weekday morning visit to this spot again soon, guys! Always check how busy the place is on Google maps but know that the line does move quickly when you need it to.

Yelp
Pretty good coffee and bagels with a nice seating area. Makes for a pretty good cafe. The cinna-bee latte was pretty good, and I liked that it wasn't too sweet. I got the blondie mocha and it was ok, I couldn't really taste all the flavor profiles listed in the description. I preferred the Cinna bee. The bagel is over $4 for one, and an extra $1 for spread, which I thought was pretty pricy. They do slather on the cream cheese though, so that's a plus! The cranberry brie bagel and recommended garlic herb cream cheese were delish.

Yelp
have come to spill the beans multiple times now, parking can be a hit or miss, so take extra time.... they have a big menu of items, both times, I have gotten a bagel with cream cheese or should I say... cream cheese with a side of bagel... lol. I like their patio, huge tables and ample space for small groups and for strollers. looking forward to future visits and friend catch up get togethers :)

Claudia P.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. Every time I get any thing from spill the beans, it's so delicious. The location is so clean and it's not noisy. The employees are so attentive and friendly. Love it!

Maddie H.

Yelp
Great bagles and coffee! Even when there's a long line it moves so quick! Love the outside seating and there is plenty of it! Makes for a fun morning spot. Definitely coming back!

Alma M.

Yelp
I love bagels and was excited to try this place in their newest location. Love the variety of bagels and cream cheese spreads. The bagels are fresh and delicious and they have an extensive drink menu, including coffee, lattes, teas and lemonades. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I love their merch and since I collect mugs I had to get one.

Cherish F.

Yelp
Nice spot with a lot of great outdoor seating. There's coffee is good and I really enjoyed their hot bagel sandwiches. Service can be a little slow but you can also ordered for pickup if you're in a rush.

Lauren M.

Yelp
I met friends here around 5:30pm on a weeknight. I was so impressed by the drinks, space, and ambiance! The Basic Sitch was so delicious! The staff were very friendly and I noticed they were cleaning often. The outside patio is really nice as well and we enjoyed watching the sunset. I wish we still lived close by. I would have definitely been a regular!

Danii V.

Yelp
Nice clean cute vibe i The staff were friendly and helpful It was my first time ordering and I was going to settle with a simple French toast bagel but the woman at the register suggested I add strawberries for texture and more flavor She even informed me the butter I chose would be spicy and suggested a different more sweet butter which I appreciate I paid $6.97 for one French toast bagel with butter cream cheese and strawberries They have a variety of option from bowls to breakfast sandwiches They even have drinks for the kids Hot chocolate and more There's stairs to the entrance but also a ramp that goes up from the parking lot There's inside and outside seating Would recommend

Yelp
I've been here twice and had a very different experience each time. The first time was a Saturday morning and it was absolute CHAOS. I ordered a coffee and bagel sandwich online beforehand and still had to wait upon arriving after the pickup time. Parking was difficult, it was extremely crowded inside and outside, and it wasn't clear how to pickup your online order. People were just kind of crowding one particular area so I did the same. Honestly was a little stressful. The second time was a Monday afternoon and WOW what a difference! It was still fairly busy but I was able to order and get my Cold Brew in a matter of minutes. Without all the chaos, I could see that it is a really really nice cafe. There's plentiful seating on the patio and it's overall just a really cute, tastefully decorated space. Plenty of people studying and working. The bagel sandwich was meh but I enjoyed my iced coffee drinks both times. I probably will return but definitely not on the weekend!

Ashley M.

Yelp
The only downside was the aioli made the sandwich a bit harder to eat lol. But it's delicious! Excellent service. The ambiance and location are clean and chill. My dog loved sitting with me. I go here more without my dogs but I will be back again.

esmer s.

Yelp
Good bagels, the sandwiches had some fun flavor combinations, but next time i think i'd stick to a flavored bagel and cream cheese. Coffee was good as well. Long line when we arrived but it went by quickly, easy breakfast if you're looking for grab and go or has seating if you want to enjoy it there

Rohith V.

Yelp
Pretty average bagel and coffee shop. Went with the habanero, Serrano, and jack cheese bagel with the chive and carmelized onion spread and then went halfsies with a friend who got the onion and garlic bagel with the chili garlic spread. It came a with a New York style serving of spread (if you're into that) and came out barely toasted. The habanero wasn't too spicy and unfortunately the spread despite sounding so delicious just wasn't very impressive, tasted like a regular onion bagel with plain cream cheese. The chili garlic spread was very tasty on the other hand but again the onion garlic bagel itself was nothing special. For 2 bagels + 1 latte total came to $18 which is think is pretty average for a bougie coffee shop (unfortunately).

Cristina B.

Yelp
Definitely would go back. The Mclovin was way beyond what I was expecting. Feels like NY style bagels in SD!!! Thick with soft interior and crunchy bagel crust. Eggs cooked to Perfection and definitely tastes real. Coffee was strong. The girls working were so sweet too! Explaining favorites on the menu and let us out take our time. Would def go back

Alexis C.

Yelp
SUCH good bagel sandwiches here. They always have a really long line in the mornings so we ordered ahead and just picked it up so it was quick and easy. Of course when we got there to pick it up there was a line so we just went to the pick up window and told them we had ordered ahead. The bagel sandwiches themselves were pretty loaded and the bagel was thicc. Will 100% be ordering ahead again, definitely not waiting in line.

Maria L.

Yelp
They got my order wrong I had to drive back and when I came to the counter and told them they got my order wrong no apologizes just that we will make it again and she had attitude about it all. Made it again and the order was wrong again and then tell me that is what I ordered and I told her what it was and she disagreed with me. Confirmed with the original women that took my order and confined it proving the other lady wrong. The women that was giving me attitude has resting bitch face I spoke to the manager which was the only one that apologized although she seemed like she had a little attitude as well avoided my order and finally gave me my order so I can leave

Liz G.

Yelp
Spill the Beans , very cute decor, plenty of seating inside and out, friendly service, and delicious coffee! The only complaint I have about my visit is parking. The lot was full so I parked on the street and walked a good bit. I ordered a basic sitch, which is their take on a caramel macchiato. They said it would be "dope" and they delivered! You should go; it's definitely a vibe.

Anthony T.

Yelp
What a cool coffee shop that has teas, kombucha, nitro cold brews, and regular cold brews ON TAP! Needed to get some work done, looked on Yelp for study spots and this place came up. There are plenty of indoor and shaded outdoor seatings. Came on a Saturday and met Jules (sorry if I spelled your name wrong), who was very patient and helpful with the menu. She allowed me to sample all the items on tap, which gave me a good sense of what this place has to offer. She mentioned that they make their bagels in house and that there are other locations in seaport village and gaslamp. I don't like going to those areas because of fighting for parking, so I'll just stick with this location. There IS a parking lot here and it's shared with the apartments behind which wasn't a problem. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!!

Natasha T.

Yelp
First of all, if ya'll want the serrano, habanero and jack cheese, COME EARLY. Or any of their popular bagels, we got here before lunch and it was out. But I had a back up bagel just in case that caught my eye was the french toast bagel and of course I had to try it with the honey walnut cream cheese. I wish it was slightly more toasted but other than that, it was a 8.2 out of 10 for me. On the other hand, the cinnamon raisin bagel tasted stale and no taste of cinnamon, hard to chew on it and it wasn't even toasted. Just lightly warmed. 3 out 10, the plain cream cheese was alright. Nothing out of the ordinary. Would I come back here and earlier? Maybe. Was this the best bagel I had? No, but again, I got to NYC often so had better ones out there and half of the cost. Didn't know they charged you extra for cream cheese even just for a plain cream cheese here. It was a good experience, french toast was good. The place has outdoor seating and indoor, perfect on a sunny day to catch up on work or some tea sessions with your friends. Parking is a bit of a hassle so we parked in the street if you don't mind walking a bit. Burn those calories to get another bagel LOL.

Yelp
Came to visit on a Saturday afternoon since we past by it in on our way to shake shack last time we came up here. This place is huge and open. There's a nice breeze that comes in from above. There wasn't too many people in there and the people that were there were studying or sitting outside to enjoy the weather. We ordered the Basic Sitch w/ oat and the Chia Berry bowl. Service was friendly and they delivered our items at the table we were sitting at even though it was to go. That was super nice of them. The Basic Sitch is their take on the caramel macchiato and it was delicious. My husband and I use to customize our own at Sbux back in the day but this version is way better. The syrup tastes homemade and the coffee was very bold which balances it nicely. The chia bowl was really good too, but I would ask for extra almond butter next time. Def coming back to chill and try their bagels next time. Parking isn't too bad bc someone was leaving at the time, but it is limited.

Jalina R.

Yelp
We've been here twice already... lotsa of patio space which is nice. We love seeing everyone with their dogs walk in. First time here we ordered: Cinna-Bee - delish. Not too sweet which I like La Vida Mocha - nice mocha flavor. A little on the sweeter side. Ube Pandesal Bagel w/ube cream cheese - was the June flavor of the month. It was good. We love ube anything. Girl who took our order was nice and friendly Second time here we ordered: Taro Latte - can definitely taste the taro. Not sweet Blondie Mocha - good but bf definitely like the La Vida Mocha better Bacon & White Cheddar bagel w/cream cheese - delish. Bagel was toasted and still nice and soft San Diego - big breakfast sandwich. Bf said it was really good. It was nice and messy too lol Girl who took our order the second time not so friendly

Ling L.

Yelp
San Dieggo on a sundried tomato & cheese bagel This had to be the best savory bagel ever. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The American & pepper jack cheese?!?!! The greatest cheese collaboration to exist. And of course bacon! The aioli really topped it off Also tried their marine layer, which is a lavender London fog and it was okay. Wish the earl grey tea was stronger. Should've asked for less ice because it tasted watered down Located near some companies/corporate buildings in mission valley, you'd see people/teams from there coming for a group lunch. Nice place to get work done or catch up with some friends! Would come again to try other bagel sandos

Rick D.

Yelp
A very hip, fun, trendy, kind of coffeehouse with younger patrons. I like the marketing of the 420 themed menu and merch. I liked the Cheech & Chong order marker. It was funny happenstance that the shirt I was wearing was the same color as the decor, and the same whimsical, tongue-in-cheek 420 play on words from a pizza place in VA stating, "Legalize Marinara." I tried the Living's La Vida Mocha; slightly sweet but balanced creamy and Aztec dark chocolate cinnamon/spicy. Simple and cute decor, fun space with indoor/outdoor seating, free WiFi. I thought the bagel sandwiches were pricey, but aren't all the trendy coffee joints? I do like that they have a variety of tea and kombucha, also a Chaga Mushroom blend. I wanna try one of their bagel sandwiches with another cup of coffee or the Chaga blend so I'll be back and update my review.

Jo C.

Yelp
Came back here around 9:30AM and it was a bit busy but I was happy to see so many savory bagel options still left. I didn't even know they had bacon and white cheddar bagel so of course I had to get it at the cashier's recommendation. The bagel actually had bits of bacon in the bagel you can see popping out as I was biting into it. I had it with garlic cream cheese and it was absolutely delicious! The bagel was lighted toasted and the cream cheese was very creamy. It was the best bagel I've had in San Diego in a while. I"m coming back again!

Aja W.

Yelp
When my sister said a coffee spot (other than Starbucks) finally opened up across the street, we had to try it before heading home. Spill the Beans is aesthetically pleasing with their "Pot Head" merch, including weed tools with their branding and cute tees. My hubby ordered an espresso and I ordered one of their bagel sandwiches. He enjoyed his espresso so much, he ordered one to go too. My bagel sandwich was delicious and easily could feed two people. They're quick as well, which is nice. Clean restrooms and wifi. We definitely will come back every time we visit my sister.

Curt T.

Yelp
The cinnabee coffee was delicious. Got it less sweet and was perfect. Got the habanero, Serrano jack cheese bagel with white truffle parmesan cheese totat for this was 5.20 with the cream cheese. A bit in the higher side but pretty standard to most bagel places these days. At least they put plenty of cream cheese in it unlike Starbucks where you get a small container. The staff was very friendly and fast. Coffee also a bit prices with it being $6.18 for a large American but again kinda standard in these times we are living in. Everything is getting expensive. Second time here and the Americano the second time around was good. Strong and good flavor.

Parada O.

Yelp
STB is a nice, quick service option for breakfast in the Mission Valley area. It's located in one of the newer apartment developments. The ambiance is casual with mostly outdoor (uncovered) seating and some seating inside. The staff was very nice and efficient. We've been twice now, and the place can get busy. We last went on a Sunday morning around 9:30; there was quite a line to order, but it moved quickly, and we were able to easily find a table. The menu has plenty of options, not just bagels but breakfast bowls as well. I tried the chai berry bowl with almond butter, which was good and filling. Also got the marine layer tea latte, which is supposed to be their version of the London fog. Unfortunately, it didn't taste like much. I am burying the lede, but I will have to say that I was not a fan of their bagels! They serve "California-style" bagels (which I didn't know was a thing) - the bagels are breadier and softer in texture. To me, they're not bagels but really just bread rolls with a hole in the center. The family still enjoyed the bagels and breakfast sandwiches though, so STB will be our weekend breakfast rotation. Pro tip, ask for the packets of Melinda's hot sauce for your breakfast sandwiches - that stuff is fire.

Armando L.

Yelp
One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had! I ordered the San Dieggo breakfast sandwich. I received it hot, ingredients were fresh, and was the perfect size. The place can get very busy but all staff members were nice. Food items take longer to receive. Took about 20 min to get 2 food items and 2 drinks. There's plenty of seating outside on the patio with a nice view. For my drink, I got a basic cold brew and had a great bold taste. I will definitely come back to try other items!

Arnold T.

Yelp
One of the best bagels I've had - $4.25 each which is more than Einstein's but definitely worth it. So fresh and not dense unlike store bought bagels. I've tried the Bacon and white bagel and it has ample amount of bacon pieces. The serano pepper and cheese was also delicious. We ordered our bagels with cream cheese which is $1 extra but they load it up. We tried the white truffle cream cheese and the caramelized shallots - equally delicious. We haven't tried their breakfast sandwiches - seems high for $13.

Maya K.

Yelp
My go-to bagel spot!! Been to this new location twice this month already because I love it! But I've been a big spill the beans fan for a while Really good cream cheese, lots of bagel options, and amazing breakfast bagel sandwiches! I really like the thigh master and the blonde mocha latte. Super cute location with tons of seating The staff is really nice and super quick even when they're busy with a line out the door!

Pauline S.

Yelp
I'm so happy that they opened a location here in Mission Valley! I ate in during their opening week and my husband and I have ordered take out countless of times now. The place itself is big with inside and lots of outside/patio seating, great ambiance. It shares a parking lot with the apartments behind it so parking can sometimes be a pain. I can't imagine how it'll be when Gravity Heights opens next door. My husband's go to is the San Dieggo bagel with the bacon and white cheddar bagel. My go-tos are the Lox bagel and the Thighmaster-- both of which I always get with Serrano, Habanero & Jack cheese bagel. Highly recommend this bagel as it gives it an extra kick. For coffee, I've ordered the Chaga cold brew. The taste was great but not something that I'd pay almost $7 for every time. We've also ordered the regular cold brew-- which you can order with different flavored cold foam on top, just ask the server! The first couple of times we've ordered here, there were at least 1 or 2 things that were wrong/missing but throughout the times we've ordered, there hasn't been a mistake. However, they were accommodating and fixed the problems. This will continue to be our go-to bagel place! Highly recommend.

Jack M.

Yelp
Spill the Beans has arrived in Mission Valley with this handsome and trendy new location. It offers plenty of inside and outside seating. I had a cortado and the French toast bagel with cream cheese. The cortado was good, but I was disappointed that they did not serve it in a glass cup when dining in. I hope they change that soon. The bagel was very nice. It was a little heavy-handed with the cream cheese, but the bagel itself was very good. I liked its chew texture. Service was very nice at the counter. They apologized for not having their Wi-Fi set up yet for customers, which I needed to get some work done. They promised it would be up and running soon. It's a very nice location.

Phuong H.

Yelp
I'm glad they opened up another location with better parking than DT I ordered: SPINACH & FETA BAGEL + MEDITERRANEAN SCHMEAR: Simple & delicious! The amount of smear on the bagel was enough for another bagel. It was bomb! BBLT: My friend really enjoyed this! The schmear to toppings / bagel ratio was delicious and easy to eat. Nothing's worse than taking a bite and having everything fall out so this was great. SERVICE / OVERALL: The service was cool! The dude taking our order (wish we got his name) was really friendly and patient with us. I have yet to try their drinks so I have to come back for that. The only downside is a sandwich is like $13-15 dollars but this spot is nice to go to once in a while!

Nyoka S.

Yelp
Visited, looking for a study spot & fell in love with the food and atmosphere. Great service, will definitely visit again soon

Sophia V.

Yelp
FOOD: love this place, unfortunately I have yet to try the bagels but they look delicious and have a vegan butter unfortunately no vegan cream cheese. COFFEE: the coffee is delicious I've had it three times from different locations but it's always good. I love the basic stitch with macadamia nut milk it's very sweet but I'm a fan. The caffeine content not too sure but I was buzzing for sure and thought $7 I loved it SERVICE: everyone was kind and sweet AMBIANCE: very cute inside and outdoor seating

Sami L.

Yelp
Im so happy to have found this cute little spot tucked away. It was hard to GPS (it took me across the freeway), I had to gps a spot nearby. Parking was really easy once I found it. Lots of cute seating indoors and outdoors. It's so nice inside, and is a really great space.

Yvette S.

Yelp
What a cute spot! The patio had plenty of seating and tables outside, in addition to the seating inside. Ordered the Lox, Stock & Bagel, French toast bagel toasted w/ plain cream cheese and a BLT on Serrano bagel. Everything was tasty and service was quick. Cashier was nice and when ordering, server brought our food in good time. Would definitely come here again. Inside: they have various cold drinks for purchase including Coke produces, Topo Chico, Poppi drinks and other waters. They also have a little spot to purchase merchandise. Restrooms were clean and well stocked.

She Bikes And Bites S.

Yelp
A great place to study or enjoy catch up with a friend. Lots of seating both indoor and outdoor. Bright open space . Friendly and fast service. They offered Nala girl (the fur baby) a pup cup and made me feel she was so welcomed. Not a lot of lunch bagel food options, but I enjoyed their 'Lox, Stock & Bagel ' on a Jalapeño bagel. Spicy level was a 3.5/5 but delicious combo . Ordered the recommended 'iced Basic Sitch' and it was a delicious. There was a lot of people who came and went. As for parking, prepare to park on the street on the other end of the location. It's not bad of a walk especially if you're wanting some steps in.

Taylor C.

Yelp
Everything I have tried here has been solid. There are still so many things I want to try but so far the Lox, Stock & Bagel and Cabo-cado Toast are good. The blondie mocha is good but the cinna-bee latte is my favorite. The patio is really nice, a great spot to get together but parking can be tough, especially on the weekends.

Liz Z.

Yelp
Love they opened a mission valley location! Their coffee and breakfast items are delicious and the breakfast sandwiches are packed! Central mission valley so you're near a bunch of stores! It is across an apartment complex but you should be able to find parking!!

Jackie T.

Yelp
Glad to have a location closer to home where I don't have to pay for parking or wait in a crazy busy line. The service and food was good. A little chilly since it's an open establishment. So be prepared to dress warm. Welcome Spill the Bean to Mission Valley will be back soon.

Alissa T.

Yelp
The first time I went to Spill the Beans in Downtown, I paid 20 bucks for a bagel sandwich and a latte. I got it to go and on my way home thought, "I'm never going back. Too expensive." I got home and took a bite of my sandwich and thought, "I'll be back." Worth every penny! The Mission Valley location is new and great! For only being open for 5 days, it is running like a well-oiled machine. This location is by far the biggest. There is plenty of seating. There was a long line, but it moved fast. I was impressed by how fast our food and drinks came out too. As usual, everything was perfection. Spill the Beans has my favorite bagels in all of San Diego--and I've tried those fancy shops that ship the water from NYC. My husband got the iced tea and loved it. We split the BBLT and added avo (obvi). I got the La Vida Mocha--yum! I love that their menu lists the sweetness of each drink bc I was in the mood for a sweeter drink, but if I was ever looking for something less sweet, I would know exactly what to get. I have loved Spill the Beans since I first tried it. I love all the locations for different reasons! And I will definitely be back to this Mission Valley location.

Sofia N.

Yelp
I really liked this spot! I cant speak for the food but my blueberry kombucha was good as was my friends iced coffee. There is plenty of seating and outlets inside! Great place to work or study from. Service was wonderful

Kayla T.

Yelp
First time visiting and was not disappointed. I asked the cashier for recommendations and she come up with the masterpiece. The food came out pretty quickly and there was plenty of seating. The place is decorated with lots of fun cute signs and the menu as some funny names as well.

Courtney O.

Yelp
Love all the additions to Mission Valley that go beyond the box stores and bring some local flavor to the area. Spill the Beans is in the apartment complex that also houses Shake Shack. It's got a huge outdoor patio with plenty of seating. A couple challenges are that the line on the weekend to order is very long and the wait for food will take additional time. Parking in the area can also be a beast with limited options. So, if you live in these apartments, you're especially lucky given the accessibility. But, it's a great new spot to the neighborhood and I love what they have to offer!

Andrew G.

Yelp
We had a nice breakfast. My wife enjoyed her fancy coffee and cheddar bacon bagel, my son enjoyed his hot chocolate and French toast bagel, and I enjoyed my berry chai bowl. There were more tasty looking items on the menu we'll have to return to try. Service was good and the place was clean. It was about what I was expecting to spend for fancy coffee and bagels.

Jazzmyne T.

Yelp
Had to check out this place while I was home for the weekend. Cute little spot right in Mission Valley that's definitely has great vibes. Quick and easy ordering with a great menu of some Cali staples. I'd definitely come back for sure.

Yelp
Great bagels made in house. Try the La Vida Mocha iced - it's delicious! The. Decor - like the ambiance is vibrant and happy!

Yelp
Ordered a bagel double toasted and it came out black. It was so hard and charred I couldn't bite it. I also ordered it open face with cream cheese, avocado and onion and they served it with the tiniest amount of cream cheese only on one side, and avocado on the other. The left side only has both because i scooped it on the other side. Just the worst bagel i've ever had, and I don't know why anyone thought it was okay to serve. Very disappointed
