"We all have that friend who’s constantly planning tournaments. They require matching tees, a Google Doc for outlining the bracket, and at least 164 reminder emails. So when that friend gets the itch again, cut their WiFi and take them to SPIN - it’s gigantic and has more ping pong tables than any other spot in town. There’s also a bar in case you lose in the first round of the tournament or you swear you play better after a drink or two." - Adele Hazan

"Keeping with its theme, downtown ping-pong club Spin is offering Wimbledon food and drink specials, like cocktails and a berries and cream dessert. It will also host a related-ping-pong tournament on Monday, July 9 and a players night themed to the tennis tournament on Friday, July 13. The venue will be decked out in astro turf too. It’s available from Monday, July 9 through Sunday, July 15." - Nadia Chaudhury

"Spin is opening its sprawling downtown Austin location featuring 14 Olympic-grade ping pong tables, food, and drinks. The venue pays tribute to its predecessor Antone’s with original ceiling wood beams, exposed bricks, and old music posters. It offers a diverse menu with Austin-specific items and a variety of cocktails. Spin hosts professional players for Friday night tournaments and offers lessons. The venue's hours are from 11 a.m. to midnight on weekdays, extending to 2 a.m. on weekends. Pricing for ping pong table access varies between off-peak and peak hours." - Nadia Chaudhury

Friendly and helpful staff! Plenty if room and lots of tables. Great people watching [some really good ping pong players in Austin]. Reasonable prices and the kitchen puts out some tasty food.

Downtown Austin: Fun, friendly, laid back atmosphere for ping pong fanatics. You don't have to be a pro to play. Just laugh at bad plays, because they'll pick the balls up for you.

This place was amazing and perfect for a night out with friends!! So many ping pong tables to play out, sick dj, and great drinks! We will be back for sure!

Super fun bar and restaurant! Played an hour and the lack of ball chasing made it so worth it. 8 dollar entry but there was a special where you can buy a food or drink item and play for free until 4 on Friday. Monday through Thursday I believe the deal applies for happy hour 4-7p.

Very clean, decent beers, fun vibe. Not overly expensive but not cheap either. The only food I’ve had is the Mexican street popcorn and it definitely is an attempt to make elote popcorn. While it’s a valiant attempt it’s not particularly good. I’d be happy with some of the spice mixed with cotija or parm and tossed because the mayo just makes it all mushy.

This is basically the top golf ping pong. had a great time drinking and playing ping-pong with my friends, the prices aren't too egregious, and the on-site ping pong professional was entertaining and helpful.

Amazing atmosphere, great drinks, tasty food and extremely friendly staff. Can't ask for a better night out on the town.

I'm disappointed in the food selection and everyone in my work group was wishing they had pool tables as well as the ping pong tables. Some of the tables were to close to really play without hitting the person next to you with a paddle.
