15 LA Restaurants With Great Views

"Spire 73 is the rooftop lounge inside the InterContinental Hotel Downtown. And yes, the number 73 does mean it’s located on the 73rd floor, making it the tallest open-air bar in the Western Hemisphere. We were shocked to learn that too, but either way, it makes for a nice setting to drink with coworkers or show off LA to a visiting friend. There are countless fire features, big mod chairs to sit in, and 360-degree views of LA. Grab the slaw-topped burger if you get hungry." - brant cox, nikko duren, sylvio martins

16 Rooftop Bars with Incredible LA Views

"High atop the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown is Spire 73, which claims to be the highest open-air bar in the entire Western Hemisphere. There’s plenty of outdoor seating, lounge cabanas, and fire pits to help stay warm as the winds can get really fierce this high up. The menu features bar bites like crispy Thai shrimp, seared striped bass, and colorful mixed drinks." - Eater Staff

13 Best Old Fashioned Cocktails to Drink in LA | Eater

"You’ll be hard-pressed to find a swankier bar than the one at the InterContinental Hotel. It helps that it’s 73 stories high, as the hotel is the tallest building on the West Coast. At Spire 73, the tallest open-air bar in the Western Hemisphere, the cocktail menu is as expansive as the views. There’s several twists on the Old Fashioned, but we prefer the most classic of them: Cozy up near a fire pit and order the Los Agelenos Old Fashioned, made with Elijah Craig Small Batch bourbon, maple syrup, angostura bitters, and an orange twist." - Vox Creative

Most gorgeous view!!! Our server was so sweet and professional. She even brought us blankets. Food was not good, but chicken wings were good. Drink was pretty decent. It takes while to get seated but once they seat you, you can enjoy beautiful view. Sunset view was stunning!

Dining at this rooftop restaurant was such a memorable experience. The hamburger and cheese platter were both delicious, and the champagne paired perfectly with the meal. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the evening. The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxing, with beautiful lighting and music that added to the mood. Sitting high above the city gave us a breathtaking view of the skyline—it felt like a scene from a movie. I would absolutely come back again!

Spire 73 is an unforgettable experience! The views are absolutely stunning—one of the best rooftop spots in LA. The food was delicious, the cocktails were top-notch, and the service was friendly and professional. It’s the perfect place for a romantic evening or a night out with friends. Highly recommend if you're looking for great vibes, amazing scenery, and a quality dining experience!

Highly recommend to come here for the sunset. Make sure to bring a jacket, it does get cold at night. The cocktails and food were good!

Google
This is experiential dining. Looking out over the city is breathtaking. The food was great and fast service. FYI, it is cold up there so high. Blankets were provided, and the heat lamps were on. It's worth it looking at your city landscape in such ambiance.

Google
Icon in DTLA 4 sure. Overlook DTLA city view. Spire 73, perched atop the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, is nothing short of breathtaking. As the highest open-air bar in the Western Hemisphere, it offers unparalleled panoramic views of LA’s glittering skyline. The ambiance is chic and upscale, perfect for a night out or a special occasion. Their signature cocktails are expertly crafted, with a good balance of flavor and presentation, and the small plates are equally impressive. While the experience is luxurious, be prepared for premium pricing. Overall, Spire 73 delivers a memorable experience that blends sophistication, style, and stunning scenery.

Hidden Gem in Downtown Los Angeles. Clean secure, safe, area. Beautifully building. Fast elevator ride to the 70th floor. Switch elevators and another quick trip to the Spire restaurant/ bar. Gorgeous views, wonderful staff, excellent food. Had an Old Fashion, Shrimp appetizer, and the Burger. Reasonably priced for the experience. Will come again for sure!

Yelp
Highly recommend to come here for the sunset. Make sure to bring a jacket, it does get cold at night. The cocktails and food were good! Our waiter, Gerry was always checking on us and just nice overall!

Yelp
A "WOW" view of LA, cool for drinks, date, or if you're staying at the Intercontinental but not a food spot Also note that it is a fancier, more upscale experience so there is a heftier price tag Ambiance 5/5: Probably the tallest outdoor bar in LA or even the west coast, view is fantastic. Note that it can get a little cold at night but it was great Service 5/5: staff is super attentive and accommodating Food 3/5: Burger 3/5: It was just ok, great patty but can with a good puree but a little too much coleslaw for my liking. Felt like the flavors were contradicting a bit. All in ended up running $44

Yelp
I was staying at the Intercontinental and decided to give Spire73 a try. I've heard the views from here are awesome, and it definitely did not disappoint, especially on a clear LA day. To get to the restaurant from the ground level, you need to take the elevator to the 70th floor hotel lobby. Then there's another elevator on the right to take you up to the 73rd floor. They have a no large bag policy, and they inspect smaller bags before entering the elevator. I got the burger, and it was very standard in my opinion. My burger was overcooked when I asked for medium rare. The fries were thick and crispy though! The worst part is the still water was $12. Everything was overpriced, but I guess that's LA for you. It was a nice view, and you're able to walk around the entirety of the floor, getting a full view of LA. However, the view from the lobby is just as good and free. I would say that it's not worth the price just to be up there.

Yelp
Food 3/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 I wish I could give this place a 3.5 star because of the subpar food but because of the ambiance and scenery, I'll bump it up to a 4/5. Located at the top of the Intercontinental hotel, you get ALMOST a 360 view from 73rd floor that overlooks all of DTLA. It's open top so it gets windy but they do offer blankets and have heaters to stay warm. Service was friendly and quick. They have full bar and places To lounge. Food however is WAY overpriced and honestly mediocre at best. The filet dish I got was supposed to be medium rare but was overcooked. It was $70! The chicken dish was also mediocre. Drinks all range between $20-$25. You're pretty much paying for the views and experience to be here but don't expect much from the dishes.

Yelp
Spire 73 is an upscale open-air rooftop bar with craft cocktails on the 73rd story of the beautiful InterContinental hotel. Reservations are a must! Be careful not to wonder too far off from the hostess desk because someone else will answer to your name...that's how desperate people are to avoid the long wait when they should've made reservations. Although, the hostesses should make a mental note of who's who when they check-in and put the name to a face. Anywho, to get the night started despite the unexpected wait, I enjoyed a sunset toast in the Los Angeles sky on the tallest bar in the Western Hemisphere with a starry ambiance. Looking out over the city was amazingly breathtaking!

Yelp
First, it was so lovely receiving a confirmation text the day before, as well as a reminder to dress warmly. It was indeed cold, but they had heaters and blankets (you need to ask for the blankets). The views were breathtaking and the city felt so quiet. The hostess was very reassuring when we arrived 20 minutes late to our reservation (traffic was horrible, obviously). They sat us immediately and even helped us change our seats when our heater went out. The server seemed overwhelmed with tables. They seemed short staff on the floor, and he was very busy. This made it hard to order drinks and food in a timely manner, but once ordered, things came out quickly. After the sun set, the winds died down and things warmed up. It was very nice to feel like I got away from the city without needing to leave.

Yelp
My bestie and I stayed at The Intercontinental for a brief staycation. We had to check out Spire 73, obviously! The food and drinks are not great, but the views are pretty stunning being that high up. It's crazy to see LA from this bar. We were very fortunate to have an excellent server. He was very attentive and quite lovely. We caught a gentleman proposing to his girl while we were there and many were excited for him. It was cute :)

Yelp
I will not give any stars due to our awful experience, but yelp don't let me submit without giving 1 star so here it is.. We were the guest with my friend who was celebrating their 20th anniversary.. First of all once we got there host attitude wasn't pleasant. We didn't feel welcome at all. My friend didn't get the table she reserved for her family. We were told to get the table which was available by server, then no one came to get our order for like 30 to 40 min. Finally we called manager and that's when manager took our order. On top of it our order was incorrect as well. Bar service was amazing. Food Service was awful. Only thing we enjoyed was the view and ambiance. But truly only ambience couldn't satisfy the customer. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone and definitely for any special occasion...

Yelp
Spire 73 is the rooftop bar at the Intercontinental hotel with beautiful views of the city and a great place to watch sunset! My only precaution is that it can get really cold on windy cloudy days! I came here with some coworkers and we got appetizers and cocktails. The violet royale cocktail was excellent!

Yelp
The service was Stellar! Patrick was our server and was so attentive. This is a rooftop restaurant and being that it's December he offered us blankets to keep warm in addition to the heaters. Patrick was truly an AMAZING server. I had the mushroom vegetarian dish which was sooooo good. It came with rice and French fries all together making an excellent dish. My mother had the seared salmon- Moms said it was cooked to perfection! This place for date or hanging out with friends. The panoramic view of Los Angeles is absolutely breathtaking. Overall service, food and ambiance all stellar.

Yelp
After a long afternoon at the LA Auto Show, we decided we needed a drink. On our way to Silverlake, we made a spur-of-the-moment decision to check out Spire 73--and wow, are we glad we did! A brisk elevator ride whisked us up to the 70th floor, where we were greeted by the hotel lobby. (Pro tip: Don't miss the stunning views--and gentlemen, the bathrooms are worth a visit!) From there, another quick elevator ride brought us to the entrance of Spire 73. Though we didn't have a reservation, we were able to grab seats at the bar just in time to witness an unforgettable sunset. With drinks and appetizers in hand, we settled in to watch Los Angeles transition from day to night, all from the comfort of our barstools. To say our time there was magical would be an understatement--it was perfectly timed, relaxed, and utterly memorable. A big shoutout to Coralynn and August, who made us feel like old friends and took exceptional care of us. We shared a burger and a plate of nachos, but I must single out the French fries. As a self-proclaimed fry connoisseur, I have to say they were perfection: crispy on the outside, creamy like mashed potatoes on the inside, and seasoned with what I suspect was a hint of vinegar. How do they do it?! Two hours flew by, the perfect amount of time to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed (plus, our parking meter was about to expire). Before leaving, we took one last lap around the 73rd floor, soaking in the twinkling city lights and iconic landmarks. Another quick elevator ride brought us back to street level, and just like that, we returned to mortal life from the heights of Olympus. Truly, it was a magical evening at Spire 73. One more tip: Bring a jacket--it gets chilly after sunset!

Yelp
The moment you've all been waiting for has finally arrived... my 1,000th review!! Spire 73 is the tallest open-air bar in the Western Hemisphere. Reservations are required, and there is a $10 entry fee per person daily (waived for hotel guests). On Fridays and Saturdays after 8 pm, the entry fee is $20 per person, which is waived for table reservations with bottle service. From the moment I stepped into the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel in DTLA, to the moment we left the building, there was nothing left to be desired. I had no idea we were coming here, because my friend set it up as a surprise. He strategically made reservations 3 weeks in advance for our party of 4, so we could catch the sunset at just the right time. The 5 pm reservation was absolutely perfect! We made our way to the 73rd floor, where we checked in with the hostess. We were seated immediately at a table with an amazing view of the City of Angels. This is most certainly a "you have to see it to believe it" kind of establishment. Fernando was our server who was not only super friendly, but very informative as well as entertaining. He also informed us that they have blankets for you if you get cold (and trust me, you'll feel it up there)! We started off with some cocktails, of course. We did not have complaints about any of them and ordered a second round to go with our food. There is a minimum spend per person, which was around $60 - $65. We shared the following: Bavarian Pretzel (during Oktoberfest) 5/5 Bangkok Shrimp 5/5 Mushroom Bisque 5/5 Truffle Parmesan Fries 4/5 Skin Seared Alaskan Salmon 5/5 The fries were seasoned well,, but because of the open-air concept, I feel like they got cold super fast. However, they still had good flavor and were crisp. The pretzel was huge and between the 4 of us, we had a small piece of it left over. The honey mustard and beer cheese dips were delicious! Everyone devoured the shrimp, and they were a good size with lots of flavor. The soup was very mild in flavor, but I love mushroom anything, so I don't have anything bad to say about it. The salmon came last, but it sealed the deal for us. Presentation was on par with the ambiance of the restaurant, and the drinks were kickin'! I believe I ordered a City View followed by a Blackberry Side Car. They tasted just how I like my drinks: fruity, with the not-so-subtle flavor of the alcohol. One of my friends got the Espresso Martini and loved it. The blankets were a special touch, as it did start getting cold as the evening went on. There are many great photo opps here as well, and a lot of selfie-worthy spots, too. Personally, the only thing that could take this up a notch would be a hot date and a private cabana with a jacuzzi in the corner, no joke!! I'll be ready if and when they decide to make that happen! ;) Don't wait any longer, book that reservation TODAY and live large at least once in your life. Spire 73 is an opportunity not to be missed! enJOY!!

Yelp
Beyond amazed is an UNDERSTATEMENT ! This place is absolutely amazing with the best views of Downtown Los Angeles. The service is GREAT, and FRIENDLY. Very affordable and a great menu with many delicious entrees and appetizers to try. The buffalo wings, crispy shrimp, lime fries were all good recommendations that tasted delicious. A nice variety of drinks as well. I forgot to mention, if your celebrating a birthday or anniversary they bring you out a complementary dessert as well! Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10
google avatar

Ellie J.

Yelp
We had the Bangkok crispy shrimp which was recommended by our bartender, Teylor. He also recommended a spritz which paired very well with the shrimp. The ambience was ok, a little loud with terrible speakers. Although the food and drink was great, the prices are insane. But would definitely recommend checking it out, even if it's just for one, the view is as insane as the prices!
google avatar

Angie A.

Yelp
Gorgeous views and the staff is nice. They offered us blankets and there was a good amount. Of seating. However it is difficult to find where to go and the drinks are really strong and didn't taste too great. I would go for the views and order something that's not too complicated like a tequila on the rocks, not their cocktails.
google avatar

Celine C.

Yelp
First time at Spire73 and it was very disappointing. I thought it was going to be some fancy rooftop bar but it felt more like a sports bar. Only positive part of the visit were the gorgeous city lights. LA is beautiful from the 73rd floor. As for food and drinks, they were so mediocre. The Wilshire is a vodka-based cocktail with strawberries, lemon, and St. Germain that sounded so fruity and refreshing. It was neither. The chili lime fries were not good as they were overcooked and heavily seasoned. We didn't really eat much of the fries. The minimum to sit at a table was $60/person but there was no way I was gonna order more food or drinks. Luckily, we didn't have to. Our server, Eunice, was super sweet and friendly though!
google avatar

Mahira R.

Yelp
I tried Spire 73 for a birthday dinner back in 2022. The view and ambiance were definitely the highlights, being up that high with the city lights all around made it feel special. The atmosphere was nice but leaned more toward loud and lively than romantic or intimate. The food was good, but nothing that truly stood out for the price point. What really fell short was the service, it didn't quite match the gratuity automatically added to the bill. For a high-end experience, I expected more attentiveness and polish. Overall, it's a fun spot to try at least once for the views, but probably not my top pick for a special occasion.
google avatar

J S.

Yelp
Leather food so good the view the ambience server was great definitely some thing and I'm coming back to multiple times. Can't wait now that I got my office down the street.
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
The actual restaurant had excellent service, great ambiance, and my party enjoyed all of the cocktails. Restaurant employees, and service were both aces! Only reason it's not 5 star is the process getting into the elevator to Spire! The security should be working for the Pentagon with how seriously he takes his job. He even asked me what was metal when the metal detector went off on my zipper on my jacket? What if it was a cock ring?
google avatar

Jennifer A.

Yelp
Great for date night or for city entertainment ! the vibe and views are amazing. Food is great too as well as cocktails ! Service was great
google avatar

Daniel G.

Yelp
We went to check out this place during DineLA 2025. The prefix menu was $55/per person, for a 3 course meal. This included, soup, Burger with fries, and dessert. The tables did not have cloth, or tableware setup. This seemed sloppy for a very fancy establishment. Additionally the outdoor heaters they had did not provide enough heat. Service was good. In short, expensive/overpriced for the experience. Not coming back. Save yourself the $120+ bill and go elsewhere.
google avatar

Jasmine R.

Yelp
The view was amazing, but it was a hassle from the start. First, the operator and website had the wrong hours, so we were stuck in the Lobby bar for sometime. While it was pretty, you could not buy a drink from that bar and take it up to Spire 73. Then, once up top, there was no table service. It was kinda like a Baja Fresh. To make matters worse, not only did you have to walk up to get a glass of wine, but there was an automatic 18% gratuity. With parking, 3 glasses of wine and chips and salsa were $150! I will not be going back.
google avatar

Ivan N.

Yelp
Came here for date night. It was very cold and the service was on point giving us timely care and blankets to keep us warm! I only did not like that people do not respect the cleanliness of the rooftop
google avatar

Winny K.

Yelp
First time visiting and I was so glad I brought a jacket because as other visitors have said, it definitely gets cold and windy up there! They do have heat lamps and fire pits but you might not be close to one and the wind definitely is strong enough to counteract any warmth from the heaters. Would definitely recommend bringing multiple layers so you can enjoy the views without being cold! I always have low expectations for rooftop bars because I feel the focus isn't on the food or drinks, so I was pleasantly surprised by everything we ordered: Beef brisket hamburger was really hearty and tasty, and a huge portion for the price! Fries were well-seasoned but not super crispy. Brussel sprouts were well-executed, saucy, and delicious. Strawberry tres leches cake wasn't too sweet but also wasn't super memorable. Chocolate caramel flan was very interesting and didn't taste like other flans I've ever had. Espresso Martini: a must for coffee lovers Oldest Fashioned: tasty and classic Pa-no-ma: citrus-y mocktail Winter Fur (bought the kitty mug to take home with me for an extra $7): I liked the Te Breezy cocktail better but this was worth it to try! Prices are definitely higher, but they do have minimums on the weekends, so it makes sense that you'd have to pay for the views. Our waitress Eunice was very nice and gave us helpful recommendations.
google avatar

Janai W.

Yelp
The view alone easily puts this restaurant at a 5, but it was the lack of service that caused me to give them a 4. This restaurant is located inside of the Intercontinental hotel making it very convenient if you're a hotel guest. My husband and I decided to try this place out on a whim one Sunday evening and had no issues reserving a table for two online. Upon arrival we were greeted by the hostess who informed us our table was being prepared. This took a little over 10 min but with impeccable views all around you, you can easily make use of your time taking pictures. Once sat our server went over the specials and took our drink orders. Everything came out fairly quickly, but once everything was delivered it's like we were forgotten about. Likely not a spot I would dine again, but it's definitely worth checking out for rooftop drinks and light bites - if not just for the view/ambiance.
google avatar

Yulin K.

Yelp
The best view in all of DTLA. It's unmatched, the drinks and food are just the bonus. Get there early to get a seat to watch the sunset, it's a sight you won't forget.
google avatar

Kristine O.

Yelp
Supposedly the tallest rooftop on the western coast of the US? Views were definitely amazing and almost unbelievable in a sense (it was fun just seeing how many helicopter pads there were in DTLA). One half of the floor is the general Spire 73 bar and dinner area, and the second half is fancier and seems to be reserved for special events. I came for a work happy hour and thank god it's comped because there's definitely a bump in prices for the view! Like a regular Paloma was $32..... Food was mediocre but not inedible. I guess I liked the satay and street corn the best. Anyway if you come around sunset, definitely bring sunglasses (if you weren't being blinded by the sun then there was a glare somewhere that was blinding you) and a thick jacket since it gets pretty windy up there and temps definitely drop as the sun goes down. Also you have to switch elevators somewhere on the 70th or 71st floor to get to the restaurant. Overall, vibes leaned more clubby than classy too. Would I come back? Only if someone else was paying!
google avatar

Alyssa R.

Yelp
This place was AMAZING from the service to the food to the drinks. It's hard to find a place that has all three. The views where amazing the ambiance is such a vibe and they give blankets when your cold. Definitely going back!
google avatar

Dana T.

Yelp
Like all the other reviews mention, you are definitely paying more for the view here. If you sit at the table, there is a minimum spend of $60 per person. The drinks aren't anything special and the chicken skewer was coated in this weird mayo like sauce that wasn't too pleasant. Overall, really pretty view but very expensive for the drinks and food. Parking is also valet only and is $16 with validation.
google avatar

Malinalli L.

Yelp
Ok G the view is amazing, I got some small fish tacos but they were extremely salty, but the rooftop view made me forget about it. The only bad thing is that I had to go somewhere else to eat bc my food did not make me happy and it was salty but the view is amazing worth the salty tacos
google avatar

Natalie N.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate an anniversary. First I'd like to say the ambiance and the views are great especially if you want to impress. However trying to get to the top floor was a headache. So many different elevators to take (really only 3 but felt like 20! Especially for the girlies with heels lol) upon arriving we were greeted by the hostess as soon as walking out of the elevator, while waiting we spoke with the manager Eduardo and we got to sit in a lounge area opposite to the eating area and bar until we were seated at our table which was right in the corner with the most spectacular view of the sunset. Gaby was our waitress who was soft spoken and attentive. We would have preferred a heater area, fireplace, or we overheard the table next to us ask for a "blanket" but unfortunately they had none at the moment. So on to the food, my husband ordered the blackened NY steak and I had the seared salmon. I thought it was ok I felt like the salmon was overcooked a bit and I didn't really care for the pomegranates on the dish but overall the experience was still enjoyable. The restaurant itself along with the service was amazing but I did not care so much for the food.
google avatar

Ryan L.

Yelp
At the top of the Intercontinental Hotel in Downtown is Spire, the tallest restaurant/bar in Los Angeles. Views are pretty but make sure to arrive early to get a nice seat. I believe there is cover charge at certain times of the night too, and resos have a minimum spend.
google avatar

Jaszi S.

Yelp
The views were incredible! such breath taking moments especially during sunset. I wish a conversation would happen regarding using a variation of sounds for their "sunset themed song" . The music and vibes were great until the loud burst of a Disney themed song also known for their sunset song deafened our ears. Honestly it was obnoxious. But once waiter explained why owner chose the classical song I sort of understood the motive, but honestly I think a more tranquil classical sound could have the same effect. Maybe ease us into the dramatics. Food- was awesome. Never had a vegan Saltaldo before it was flavorful and they didn't miss a beat on serving size. Veggies were sautéed just right. Carnitas fries were hella good! Cocktails were colorful placed on the bar and bartender did a wonderful job of improvising the taste I had in my mind for a cocktail. Definitely want to save up a bit going here it is a bit pricey but hey it's LA!
google avatar

Sara N.

Yelp
They force charge $4.50 tip for pouring a glass of wine, no warnings. 1 glass. Thats 100$ an hour if u pour around 22 drinks. I'm all for adding gratuity, but that's too far, even for LA. Give us the option to order something u actually have to make at that rate. Because it's LA, they can careless, but if ur not from here- beware of places like this.
google avatar

Samantha M.

Yelp
If I could tell everyone not to come up here for the food ! I would . The food was so bad .. I expected way more for a rooftop restaurant. The tables and chairs were not comfortable . The service was good , We had a nice server. The views are what makes this place enjoyable . I loved to see all the helicopters and the view of LA. The thing that killed it was that the windows were very dirty I couldn't get a clear picture of the view . If I were to come again I'd just come for the views and get a drink lol but not for the food I would not come back here to eat at all !!
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing view. Great atmosphere. I went for drinks with friends, and this view was phenomenal. If you want a magical date night, then this is the place to go. Great service with a very friendly staff.

Yelp
Known for their views but their service is wonderful and food is delicious. They make better cocktails than most places we've been to. What they've done really well is create an atmosphere under the stars, so high up that you don't hear the traffic. Their design allows for privacy, and has enough fires that you can be there for ours at night in January and not get cold. It really is pretty. Obviously they are high in price. Minimum of $60 must be spent per diner as of this review (1/2025). The biggest challenge you may face is parking. Read the dress code on the website. If you have children, call ahead and find out how late they're allowed to be there. 73 floors up, highest dining in Los Angeles. Everyone should have a special evening there at least once.

Yelp
my husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Spire 73. All I could say is WOW! The spectacular views, the food, the staff, the music. I can go on. It was perfect. Edward, our server took our experience to another level. He made our anniversary very special. Edward, the manager, he went above and beyond. We asked him questions and he didn't just answer them, but took us on a tour. What a special manager he is. We already told our group of friends our experience and they want to join us the next time we come back. which we are planning on next month. I hope Ruben is our server again and Edward is there. Everything was over the top amazing and thank you again for making our anniversary as special as it was btw Edward recommended IHG credit card to my and he already on it for the perks.

Yelp
Let me start by saying, the small blankets that they give you are NOT sufficient if it's a cool and windy night. They don't have heaters at every single seat and my friends were freezing up there on the roof. Now to the good part EUNICE.. when I say she's a great waitress who they stretch way too thin. She's super personable and knowledgeable about the menu and beverages... We ordered a bunch of appetizers because we weren't in the mood for entrees but when you sit you must spend $60 pp so we ordered drinks and several apps.. the butternut squash was good but the Mediterranean plate, truffle fries and chicken set are the best!!!! I would definitely come back but when the weather isn't so cool.

Yelp
I really wish I could give Spire73 a five star review but sadly I can't.. everything was 10/10 but unfortunately the food was not what I expected for a "high end" restaurant. Expect regular hotel food. I was very disappointed by the steak I ordered. Not only was it over cooked (I asked for medium) but it was cold, the carrots had zero flavor best part of it was the mashed potatoes. I won't be coming back for food but will be back due to the friendly service and well made drinks. Atmosphere 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Service 10/10 Food 5/10

Yelp
I love the Spire 73 ! The drinks were on the expensive side but definitely worth it. The fire pit setup and heaters to keep guest warm on chili nights were perfect and view of LA skyline at night and believe me it did not disappoint . I definitely recommend coming during sunset to watch the city light up . It's truly magical .

Yelp
I took my partner here to celebrate his passing of his licensure exam! What a beautiful restaurant bar! The views are epic! Definitely plan for visit here an hour or so before the sunset so you can experience the beautiful sunset! The transition from day into evening is quite romantic as all the city lights start to twinkle all around! The music and vibe of Spire73 is great! Service was good! I have no complaints of the food! It was pretty good. The alcoholic beverages were fine. The espresso martini could be better.

Yelp
Beautiful view indeed, I liked the fireplaces between tables . But yet they are closing at 23:00 (11 pm) and asking everyone to leave , which is not really nice ... I would expect them at least to be open till 2 am Service was slow and kitchen closed at 9:30 pm and nobody notified us when we called in Please make sure to plan ahead

Yelp
Make a reservation. If you want the view out over the city, that seems to be the only way. It's very windy being up that high so that's something to keep in mind. It also means your food will cool off very quickly. The space is an interesting combination of upscale and casual. The prices and offerings hint at something more luxurious, but then you may be seated on patio furniture. I acknowledge the draw of the location is the view. If I came back, I'd love to come when it wasn't so dark as the club lights from the space wash out the city and skyline a bit.

Yelp
The only great thing about this place is the view, we were not taken care off service wise and the food was very mediocre for an unreasonable price. Initially came here for my brother's 16th birthday, made a reservation a month in advance when arrived we were seated in an area we did not request and was eventually moved to the requested area. Was told it would not be an extra charge. Our waitress Alicia was not attentive and after our orders were taken they had bus boys bringing out the food and they did not know whose food was whose causing confusion and food to become cold, we weren't given our utensils til 15 min after being served drinks didn't come out till food was served. We were charged for an extra burger after asking to remake one. We were charged for moving spots and the gratuity was automatically added at 18% when it wasn't deserved at all! OH!!! and no one ever came to pick up our plates after our food was done no one came by the tables for refills, we basically had to bus our own tables to make room for the birthday cake to sing happy birthday. The experience 0/10 would never return and would not recommend!!

Yelp
Spire 73 is an open air rooftop bar on the 73rd floor of the Intercontinental Hotel on Wilshire and Figueroa. There's a $40 minimum per person to sit at the bar or seating area. The seating area has small tables to fit two or four persons with larger tables to seat groups of six comfortably. Look for the red chairs on the north side of the bar which provide a bit more privacy. Spire 73 has a varied selection of cocktails and mocktails. The views overlook the 10 and 110 freeways. If you don't want to pay minimum you can visit the bar on the 70th floor, which still has nice views.
