Spoonfed Review - Hollywood - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"On a stretch of Seward St. in Hollywood populated by a lot of production and casting offices, plus the LA location of Rao’s that weirdly is still in business, Spoonfed is a nice change. It’s a true all-day place - they’re open from 6:30am until 11pm every day - that caters to all the workers in the area who just want a nice place to sit and eat a salad during their 20-minute lunch break. These people won’t be disappointed with the food and shady, jungle-like patio at Spoonfed. The menu is big, running from pancakes and breakfast tacos for the morning, to chopped salads, flatbreads, and a very good tuna melt for the rest of the day. Considering this is one of the only options in the area, the food is better than it has to be. Get this into your Hollywood lunch rotation." - Jess Basser Sanders

Spoonfed Crafts Comfort Food Classics in Hollywood - Eater LA

"Take a look around inside Spoonfed, the casual new all-day restaurant poised to make big noise inside Hollywood’s sprawling Media District. The newcomer officially opens for business on Tuesday, June 19. Spoonfed is the work of Sean Loeffel, a longtime front of house lead at various places across the city, most notably Alcove in Los Feliz. This is his first personal venture, working the same counter service model but combining it with comfortable seating, lots of soft natural light, and a casual menu of easygoing favorites. The restaurant has room for 200 seats in total, including a gorgeously lush patio area. James Beard award-winning designer Tom Nahabedian helped to craft the look of the place. On the food front, expect everyday eats from chef Carlos Monterroso, formerly of Doheny Room. There are burgers, salads, small pizzas, and sandwiches on the daytime and dinner menus, plus desserts and drinks. Breakfast is a blend of classics like pancakes, healthy-ish parfaits, breakfast tacos, and more. The opening menus are below." - Farley Elliott

Spoonfed, A trendy restruant that surpassed expectations. At first glance, the prices may seem expensive, but the portions (depending on what you order) is very generous. The atmosphere shows trendy in a positive matter, complete with in and outdoor settings. I would highly recommend to go with a group, but solo works are fine. P.S--- Lots of avocado choices.

This hidden away gem is worth the trip. A modern tropical hideaway in the heart of Hollywood that a lot of neighborhood “studio people” know about (but wonder if many others do? ) I was initially invited there by a director and director of photography for Sunday Brunch. It was so lovely on their extensive patio. The food is clean , fresh and scrumptious with lots of options and service very caring.

Cute place. Kind of hidden in between a bunch of film studios and a parking structure. The Food is eclectic, healthy Cali food and our dishes were pretty good! Apparently they make a mean old fashioned also my friend tells me. They have cool out door seating as well as inside.

Finally, a place I can get something delicious to eat next to my gym and sit on a beautiful outdoor patio. Breakfast tacos are fantastic. If you love food and great atmosphere, this is the place. Also appreciate they have street parking and a garage that validates. AMAZING!

Absolutely delicious. Have been three times in the past week for both lunch and dinner. I love the flatbread (think gourmet thin crust pizza) , the fresh salads and the other healthy options. They have gluten free brownies which are a bit too sweet for me but I think others will appreciate all of the gluten free and vegetarian options. This guy sitting near us kept raving about his sandwich so will try one of those next week. It's a beautiful new place that gives Hancock Park and Hollywood their own version of Joan's on 3rd. Highly recommend. Also the hours are great. Open early in the morning 'til late at night.

Amazing place to eat. Lots of choices and a bar for most any type of event. Lunch is the best and the pies are amazing. Theres even items to purchase and share as gifts. The place is super clean and staff very warm. Seems to be new or not well known, but hopefully that changes.

This is a cool little spot. Large dog friendly outdoor area, cool cafe, and the restaurant has excellent food and a great cocktail program. I really enjoyed the mezcal cocktail on the menu and their mezcal selection is great for the size of the bar. Nice wine list too.
