Wings! You need these. The special grilled flavor is so good! The overall food was very good and came out so fast. The waitress was nice and attentive, the place is very easing going and nice for watching all sports.

Great sports bar in the south Miami area. Excellent place to hang out and what a sports game or out for a casual dinner. Wings 🍗are the best in Miami! Try the special grilled and the dale style. The chef Wimp has the hands of a food god. I’ve lived in Miami my entire life and these are the best wings in Miami. Stephanie our server was inviting and super sweet, come to this location and you’ll be sure to have a great meal and great service. Lunchtime is the best ☺️

Had a great time. Food was delicious. What made the night even better was being greeted by Carlo the GM. I've never seen a GM be so hands on. The staff here are wonderful from the servers bartenders, cooks, and bus boys. Will be back very soon. Local gem

Last night I was looking up a wings spot in Miami as there seems to be very few options. I ended up finding Sports South Miami. Their wings were all good but I’d have to say from the three pictures below the BBQ were the best the grilled came at a close second and the lemon pepper were a little over seasoned for my liking but still good. The service at the establishment was also good they took care of us promptly even though they were super busy. Im excited to go back try some different flavored wings.

Sports bar with typical fare. We had burgers and wings, and both were tasty. Great dining option after a late night movie across the street. But the in-restaurant advertisements for pest control services made the atmosphere less appetizing.

Had a great experience at Sports Grill! The vibe was lively and perfect for watching a game. Our waitress was fantastic—super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Seating was fast, which was a big plus. The food and drinks hit the spot, making it an all-around great place to enjoy good company and sports. Definitely coming back!

Came in for lunch with friends on a Saturday afternoon. Ample seating and attended right away. I go for my favorite Miami Heat which packs a punch of flavor and heat. Long time customer and one of my favorites around town.

Not great. It wasn't super busy, and the weather was great so we decided to sit outside. Our server Naomi came right away and was super pleasant, we were off to a great start. There were multiple sporting events on, UFC Fight Night, March Madness, and the Heat game. We ordered (appetizers, wings, and sides) all at once because we were hungry! This is where it all went downhill. The food took FOREVER. When it finally came out, it all came out at once and while we ordered ranch with our wings they sent one ranch and one blue cheese. We asked to pls change it for the second ranch, we don't want to double dip and share it. We waited, and waited, and waited... we finally started to pick but our waitress was totally MIA. My boyfriend had to go inside with the blue cheese and swap it with the kitchen. As he walked back out the door, guess who followed him out... Naomi. She asked after he sat down with the ranch how we were doing..? We looked at her like she had 3 heads because she couldn't be serious. No apology for disappearing to the point that my very patient bf decided to get up and go get the ranch to eat our wings. By that time we just asked for the check while she was there so we could just finish up and go before she disappeared again. All in all, we started great but service wasn't great. We'll be back to Sport's Grill but will probably sit at the bar or just get it to go.

DINE IN ONLY!!!! This place is an institution and great to go to, watch games, etc. But Uber eats/take out is a totally different experience. Aside from constantly leaving items out, the wings are usually overcooked, 90% of what you get are legs, and if you pay for the wings to be dipped in a sauce a second time they always show up dry and charred. I've had to stop ordering from there and instead order from Miami's Best and Old Tom's which have amazing wings even via Uber Eats.

My husband and I came in for a quick bite. It was my first time, but it's my husband's favorite wing place in Miami. I was absolutely blown away by how amazing the grilled wings are! Truly, some of the best wings we've ever had! Can't wait to come back

Classic sports bar, made me feel like I was back in college -- perfect spot for a burger and a beer. Staff are sweet and accommodating. Eager to come back and try their wings (I've heard they're some of the best!). Street parking available nearby.

I often order pick-up from this place, and the food never disappoints--especially the ribs and wings, which are consistently flavorful. I also love that they offer healthy options if I'm in the mood for something lighter. When I do dine in, though, service can be slow, and it feels like staff are standing around sometimes. On the upside, there are tons of TVs showing nearly every game you could want inside and outside, so it's a great spot to catch sports while you eat.

Stephanie is absolutely the best server ever. She remembers my orders, the people I bring in, and ALwAYS makes sure our table is taken care of and the food is as ordered. Plus the teriyaki wings are FIRE!!!

We've been going to this sports grill for the past few years, and it never disappoints. We are always seated promptly and the service is amazing! Everyone is super nice and attentive. This time around we got the loaded tots and, no surprise, they tasted great! (we do miss the pretzel bread though lol). And for entrees we ordered a tuna melt, two bowls, one salad and one with brown rice, and also a kids hot dog. Everything tasted delicious!!! And finally for dessert we got the fried key lime pie (we literally order this every single time). IT TASTES SO GOOD! Overall, amazing place to hang out with friends and family as there are a bunch of large booths inside. 10/10 would recommend to everyone

Good food but I actually placed a takeout order and I've been waiting at the place for 30 minutes. Writing this and I still don't have my food. Placed the order 15 minutes before arrival. Ridiculous.

We have not been to Sports Grill in a long time and unfortunately this visit made us decide we will not return. The Old Fashion cocktail was without any flavor. Fish and chips, wings and ribs were nothing to celebrate. The wings felt like they were cooked an hour before and kept warm. The sauce was added for service. The fish was full of oil, not cooked properly. The ribs were over sauced.

I don't get the hype. Wings are mid and they don't have any promotions. I've lived down the street for last 12 years-and have come here a max of 4 times. Wish this location was a Flanigan's instead.

The manager, I believe his name is Nick, is a total jerk. They messed up my order and to say the least I walked out of the restaurant in tears, with shakey hands, and terrified from the way he spoke to me. He was hitting his vape in the kitchen and sitting on his phone at a booth after claiming he was "busy" on the phone. I don't recommend this location the food is inconsistent, the service is trash, and the prices are through the roof. Nick is single handedly running this place to the ground.

Back for a late lunch and Stephanie greeted us at the door with a smile. So nice to have a nearby sports grill that makes you feel welcomed. Great wings and great service!

Have not been here in a while. New menu. Woo hoo. Added a few new items like bowls and fish and chips and Mac n cheese. We are going with 10 Special grill, 10 lemon pepper and 5 garlic, all bone-in. The celery was real celery not some flimsy ends of the stalks like some places serve. Nahomy waited on us and she was so attentive and helpful. This is a traditional sports-bar. Great TVs, cold beers, it is a nice classic feel.

We went at 2:45 on a week day for lunch and there was only one table seated. We stood there for a few minutes before someone came by and said you can sit anywhere. The server came by and seemed attentive. But, after we placed our order she disappeared. Our food came out and we both ordered the San Diego Chicken Sandwich, but with different cheese and one order of french fries and one order of their homemade chips. The sandwiches were good and so were the french fries, but the chips were awful. To end this meal we had to go to the kitchen to ask the server for our check.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Tonight was my first time going to there and honestly, service and food were excellent!!!! Austin (GM) helped me out a looot when it came to my bill. He truly went far and beyond for me. I also want to shout out to the waitresses Jasmin and Ashley and the cooks (who made the food taste soooo gooood) Cedric and John. I'll definitely go back. 10/10.

Food is always delicious! Service is great, but today we had Stephanie as our server and she did a particularly great job! Been coming to this location for many years and it's one of my favorite restaurants in the city, specially when I'm in the mood for wings.

Our server Evan did an amazing job. When you go to this location, make sure you ask for him. Food was amazing as well! My favorite was the wings. Manager was nice and the workers as well. Will for sure go back again.

The wings are great as usual. I always get good vibes at this place. Stephanie is on point as server, always attentive, pleasant, with a nice smile and attitude. She makes the lunch experience better.

Service was good. The place is clean. Food was decent for bar food. We ordered the smash burger which was good since it was not greasy. Chicken sandwich was dry. Chicken wings are great.

I ate here with my friend after a round of golf and we ordered wings and they were stale hard flavorless and downright awful. And we spoke to the manager and he said he couldn't accommodate us in any way so me and my friend not looking for a fuss said whatever and decided to pay and when they brought the check they charged us for more food than we ordered. and the service was awful so this place absolutely sucks I do not in any way recommend this place and this isn't the first time i have had a problem with their food it has always sucked. i still don't understand how they are open they must be bribing people.

I recently ate at the South Miami location of Sports Grill. I had the SG BLT, which was excellent. Stephanie was my server and the service was excellent. She was friendly and attentive, without being overly hovering. Whenever I was thinking I might need something, she already knew and brought it to me. I was very impressed! I would highly recommend the Sports Grill and will definitely go back the next time I'm in town. And I will ask to be seated in Stephanie's area, if at all possible, knowing my dining experience will be that much better!

An impromptu lunch date with my daughter led me to this Sports Grill location and not only was the company great but the lunch experience was also terrific. It seems like this Sports Grill is the area's go-to bar where people can get a quick bite to eat or just relax and enjoy a few cocktails. Service -- Stephanie, our server/mgr., was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable of the menu. She suggested food and drink items which was a plus and was always on top of our every whim. Her demeanor was welcoming and a pleasure to come in contact with. They have a good selection of lunch specials which are worth taking a look at and ordering from. We ordered the 5 wings/fries platter. Stephanie recommended that we double dipped them in the special grill sauce and they were beyond delicious...! I told her that many decades ago, the special grilled wings used to have the same amount of sauce as the double dipped ones now have at no extra charge or request. Never the less, the upcharge is a couple of dollars and worth every cent of it. The fries -- we ordered them with cheese and bacon and both items were oozing from every fry and was worth every calorie we didn't need to add to our waistline. Overall, it was a great and unexpected lunch experience and one that my daughter and I vowed to enjoy again. Kudos to this location for its food, service and Stephanie that took great care of us. Great little place for a quick meal or sports watching. Boneless wings are good, a little over cooked but flavorful. I went with the Jerk rub. The wife had the blackened shrimp wrap with homemade chips. no photos and forgot to get my free app. I would go back and eat here again when hanging with my UM peeps!

LOVE SPORTS GRILL! I'm from Colorado and this is always my first stop when I come to Miami. This time was the best experience I've ever had though because of our waitress STEPH! She was an incredible waitress and went above and beyond to make our visit the best it could be. She is the best waitress I've ever had at any Sports Grill! Give her a raise! love this place!

Came out for a late dinner and this place didn't disappoint. The burger was great everything came out hot and fresh... the wings were the best. The drinks were just right. The service was really good they were very attentive.

Wings are great. Bar menu is deceiving. Came on a Thursday where the daily special says $12 domestic beer. After closing out, the pitchers were rung up for $20. Asked the waitress about it and was informed that manager stated it was only miller lite and yuengling. After pulling up the menu to show where it said $12 domestic beer we were showed this deal for "pro football" stating $12 pitchers for miller/yuengling. The manager had left so no one to speak to. Waitress was very nice and just doing her job but the special brought out after 3 hours of being here was not relevant to the daily special. Their menu online does not specify it's only certain domestic beers on their daily specials. Reply to the managers response: the waitress said she had to speak with a manager and apologized for the obvious confusing messaging in your menus. She did give a 10% discount on an 100+ bill. This isn't about the bill but about the fact your menus are not clear on what domestic beers are considered for the DAILY special.

This place has really declined over the years! Used to love Sports grill's wings and juicy scrumptious burgers. Those are not offered here. Not sure if this is a franchise, or if the menu has changed at all locations, but the quality of the food really has gone down (sad to say). My son and daughter ordered the "smash" burger (formerly that big juicy sports burger). Their burgers were so small that I did not have time to snap a picture before they were gone. Each of my kids also felt sick to their stomach about an hour after lunch. The rest of the meals at the table also were nothing to write home about. It's kind of sad when the best looking meal at a sports bar is the cesar salad.

This is one of my go-to's for wings. Over the years I have seen the transformation and decline from the deliciousness of the original Sports Grill near Kendall. I am not sure if they still grill the wings, most likely they just fry them because of codes, permits and stuff. The fried wings have the disadvantage of losing extra flavor, and if you do not have a skilled cook, they can easily be over cooked. Which is what happened to the wings we ordered, without mentioning that they messed up my order and had to remake them. My last visit may have been the worse visit of all, as the wings took too long to get to the table, and they were a bit tough to chew on. But, they did have a good flavor. The fries were well cooked and the onion rings were OK also. I can still come here for wings but if they keep messing up, I'm out.

I have been a loyal customer to all the Sports Grill locations since my grade school days. Yesterday we decided to pass by the South Miami location for some dinner. We were seated right away and ordered the regular grilled and Buffalo sauce wings with sides of French fries. The wings were perfect perfectly grilled and bursting with flavors. My personal favorite is the Buffalo with a touch of garlic. My wife also ordered the tuna melt on toasted sourdough, which was delicious with good chunks of tuna and the right amount of mayo. For dessert we ordered fried Oreos which was the only disappointment of the meal, they looked like stale spring roll stuffed with Oreos. Sports grill is my pick for the best chicken wings in the 305!

Stopped in today for a late lunch, craving a bbq chicken sandwich - and that's exactly that todays special way! What a fantastic surprise! Service was fast and Stephanie was super pleasant and attentive throughout our meal! Several tvs were tuned to different Olympic events which made it fun to lunch there today, too. The only small downside was the food was a bit oversalted for our taste, but we'd go back again in a heartbeat!

Smelled of poopoo and there was one server in the whole restaurant. She was awful and would go back to the open kitchen and slap someone some crazy stuff was going on back there. She was also wearing short shorts and would pick them before serving. Food was okay we got the 9.99 meal. The desert brownie was cold tho which was a shame.

Best spot for wings! It's been a tradition of mine to order the Special Grilled Wings at Sports Grill for the past two years. I get them double dipped with a side of the delicious blueberry bourbon smash, and it's SO GOOD. Every time I go I like to request Austin as my server since he is so friendly & knowledgeable of all the specials. He introduced me to the fried oreos and they are so incredibly delicious. If you like eating good food while watching your favorite sports in a fun atmosphere then you won't regret spending your time here!

Love the ceasar salad with special grilled chicken and their chips are the best! It's a very family friendly place.

We took our 5th graders here for lunch after a field trip near by & we were very happy with the food & service. Our servers, Nahomys & Zion, were attentive & patient with our students & couldn't have been nicer. Stephanie, the manager, frequently checked up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I have visited the Sports Grill in South Miami several times over the past year. This location like every Sports Grill in the Miami area delivers a dependable sports bar experience, ... great food, decent drinks, and better than average service. The management and owners at The Sports Grill run a good operation. I have had to deal with managers at this location for large parties and they were all professional, nice, and accommodating, Ellen and Charlotte were especially good. All the wait staff I have had was also better than average and I never once had a bad experience over many visits. The menu is pretty much what you would expect from a sports bar. It's basic, but so what. I ordered a burger several times, wraps, and other items. All were perfect. The burgers were probably my favorite. The Sports Grill makes their own potato chips every day and they were really good, so much better than what comes out of the bag. There is a decent selection of beers, they have good tap options, Miami local beers, and of course, they have a well-stocked bar. Two thumbs up for you Sports Grill.

Looking for some amazing wings on our way to the movies and stop here super fast service order was out in no time super nice staff .a little crowded on a Friday night But really good wings wow I got the Glazed Teriyaki and the Special Grilled wow words can't explain how good were these wings we did get sweet potatoes loaded fries you need to order it them because they don't have them on the menu and is extra . This is our happy hour spot after running, so we've been coming for a while now. Service is always excellent, they sanitize the tables after every customer, and take good care to have their gloves and masks always on. They have a new chicken wing flavor, which is the blackberry barbecue dale. I don't really notice the blackberry BUT it is nevertheless delicious. It's not "a barbecue" and it's not purely the Dale sauce, it's a very good combination of sweet and spicy. The chicken sandwich is very good, though I wouldn't go as far as to call it great, it's still a very nice one. The mushroom and cheese burger is juicy, well cooked, and flavorful. The Cobb salad is a surprise, its crispy bacon is on point, the lettuce and tomato are fresh and cool, and you can put on top of it chicken (with your preferred wing sauce), pulled pork or shrimps. I tried the chicken one and I was very happy with it. The fries are always crunchy on the outside and soft on the i side, as they should. I didn't care much for the Philly steak sandwich. It's not bad, but it's lacking something I still can't put my finger on. Overall, it is a great place... and we'll keep coming back. However: The restroom is not always as clean as it should (I blame the customers for this, but yes, the restaurant could pay a bit more attention to that. It usually has soap and paper and even sanitizer (only once I found no soap) The beer is always cold, but not always as cold as you'd wish, so you may want to get the ice bag for that pitcher. Meaning: It's never actually warm, but Miami'a weather will make it that way in a really short time. Due to social distancing rules EVEN if your group comes together and they are the same group, they are forbidden to join tables or to let you occupy two contiguous tables... it is a bit of a drag, but they will accommodate you as well as they can without breaking these rules, so expect splitting your group if you're numerous. Oh, I almost forgot: If you work for the county of Miami-Dade, you get a discount on Tuesdays (if you show credentials) so that's a good tip. I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting something, but I'll update the review if I remember what that is.

Just a bit of culinary FYI. The whole purpose of a "patty melt" is that there is cheese on both sides of the bun. Hopefully next time they'll make it accordingly. Waffle fries were on point though. Can't go wrong
