"Philly chain Spread Bagelry, the shop known for its Montreal-style wood-fired bagels, just opened its fifth location and this one, the first outside the city, is supposed to look like a train station. The newest Spread, open as of Monday, October 21, is at 925 Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr. Unlike New York-style bagels, which are more common around here, Spread’s Montreal version is hand-rolled, boiled in honey water, and baked in a wood-fired brick oven. To go with the chewy bagels, the shop sells a variety of house-made spreads, breakfast sandwiches, pizza bagels, and sandwiches like a turkey club or chicken BLT (on a bagel). The idea behind the decor is that since it’s on the Main Line, and the Main Line is called that because of a section of the Pennsylvania Railroad built in the 1800s, they went with a train station theme." - Rachel Vigoda

Bagels are made fresh on-site - need I say more? My go to is an everything bagel with whitefish salad, lettuce, tomato, and a dash of black pepper. The bagel had a crisp outside and was jam packed with seeds and seasonings on the outside. The interior of the bagel was good; chewy and light, not that dense dough you can get sometimes. The garnishes were definitely fresh for the day - the lettuce was super crisp and the tomato was juicy vs slimy. 10/10 surpasses my previous favorite deli for bagels. Atmosphere was banging only probably was furniture was a bit stained. Music was AWESOME.

The atmosphere was very nice and everything was clean and well organized. The parking was absolutely horrendous at 10:30 in the morning (on a Wednesday). I think I got the last spot in the entire lot! Just ran into get a breakfast sandwich and was kind of disappointed that there are no egg sandwiches without meat. Yes, I can remove the meat, but I don’t want to pay for something that I’m not eating! Would be great if they offered egg and cheese only. Just got home and had my whole wheat everything bagel with my own toppings. Bagel was very good. More dense than others but that’s probably since I got wheat.

I am so glad that Spread has been discovered by enough people to spread outside of the city into several locations. I think Ardmore was their first Mainline location to open, years ago now. Montreal-style bagels are brushed with a honey and water mix and cooked in a wood fired oven. The combination results in a beautiful densely topped bagel with just the right amount of chewiness. The fresh cream cheese is also awesome. Simply Superior! They also now have a partner to provide gluten free bagel dough options, but you you have to order these ahead, so I am thinking these are more for catering.

Google
Spread makes good bagels. I enjoy the flavors and the bagels themselves are good. However, I have a few complaints about Spread. First, the bagel sandwiches are ALWAYS messy. It doesn't matter what kind you get, it is essential to have a sink nearby. Second, it is a bit pricey. It was $30 for 2 bagel sandwiches, a water, and a juice. Last, service is a bit slow. The people are nice, and generous around closing time, but it can take forever to get one bagel.

Had so much potential! Staff was great, wait was way too long for a single bagel with butter. Finally received the bagel only to find out they have 1 type of jelly that I'm allergic to! Never been to a bagel shop that didn't have other options especially GRAPE JAM OR JELLY! Well to my surprise once I tasted this 4.77 cent bagel I threw it in the garbage because it was DISGUSTING! Stale and no taste! The super market has better tasting bagels. I definitely know for next time! Sorry, not sorry. This place should be ashamed of itself!!!

The woman at the register is incompetent. I’ve never been here before and didn’t know you had to SPEED order before online order come in and take all the bagels away before your eyes. They were out of plain, so I asked what would be similar from what is left. The woman says, “I don’t know” and never moves from the register. If she doesn’t know then who does?? I had to keep walking past people in line to look at the bins. I placed one order and by the time I tried to order my second bagel a cook came a took all of the remaining savory bagels for online orders. Never again. That woman was not helpful and they expect tips. No.

Google
Spread Bagelry has good food and good staff members but the staff members frequently miss 1 item on customers food orders. Missed mine and another customer while I was there for 5 minutes

Stopped here two days in a row on a trip to visit family in PA! We loved our food, especially the unique spread flavors, and chatted with extremely kind staff both times :-)

Yelp
Awesome!!! Big open place, they have La Colombo coffee! great variety of bagel sandwiches and have gluten free bagels!

Britta S.

Yelp
Their bagels are so good. I would recommend buying a dozen bagels and sharing with friends. I wish they would bring back their horse radish lunch sandwich though!!!

Yelp
Skip this place and head down Lancaster Ave. to City Ave. to New York Bagels which is SOOOO much better! True New York style bagels with real flavor. These are tasteless. Ive had real Montreal bagels in Canada and these are NOT those. These are flavorless. And what's up with the blaring hip hop music in the morning? WTF?! Had to leave asap after picking up my order when I really wanted to dine in and catch up with a friend.

Anny Z.

Yelp
Good sandwich - brisket was tender and flavorful. We got the rosemary olive oil bagel and it has a bit too much flaky sea salt on it, making it too salty in some bites. Despite being packed, service was decently fast.

Yelp
My customer service experience yesterday at Spread Bagelry yesterday in Bryn Mawr: I walked into the store around 9 AM yesterday morning. There was one person ahead of me in line, so I got behind her. There were at least six people working. Most of the people seemed to be involved in food prep, probably for online orders. I waited about five minutes, and finally an employee walked by and said to me "can I help you?" I answered that I wanted 6 bagels. She responded "you have to pay first". I asked her how to do that. She pointed at a terminal. I asked her if I had to enter my order at the terminal. She said, somewhat annoyed, "no you have to pay first". I asked "how am I supposed to pay if there's no amount on the screen?" At that point, another employee asked me, "what do you want?" I answered I want to get a half dozen bagels, and she is telling me I have to pay first. How am I supposed to pay first if there's no amount on screen, and I am not supposed to enter the order?" She just looked at me and said, "you have to pay first", also with an annoyed tone. So, I said, "you are borderline rude, and you're not helpful at all. I'll go New York bagels where they're polite." The two women responded very sarcastically "have a nice day" as I walked out of the store. I was there once before, a few months and had no problem, walking up to the counter, ordering my bagels from a person and paying for them.

Malcolm H.

Yelp
Parking lot way to small and hard to navigate. Walked into restaurant at 11;30 on Friday and was told that they are not taking any orders because they are too busy, so I had to leave. I went to the always reliable WAWA. I will NEVER go to Spread Begelry again.

Jessica W.

Yelp
If my favorite local bagel and all-day breakfast spot is closed (Up-Ryes Bagels), I head to nearby Spread Bagelry in the Bryn Mawr Village. Spread serves up Montreal-style bagels (oven baked, dough made with honey), and they taste great! The bagels and bagel sandwiches are tasty at a decent price. The interior space is really cute. There is an old-fashioned flip board thing above the register area that many customers seem to love, so check it out. I find it loud and distracting, but I digress. :D La Colombe is 4 doors down from Spread in the same shopping center, so you can have great coffee or tea and a Spread bagel. What's not to love?!

Courtney R.

Yelp
Customer service is awful. Accidentally ordered a $2.25 loose bagel online instead of the toasted and buttered option because I didn't realize, so I put "toasted with butter" in the note section. Instead of telling me when I arrived and giving me the option to get what I actually wanted to order, I picked up my order, opened the bag and pulled out an unprepared bagel and a note telling me that I basically should've ordered it with the bagel with butter option in the first place. LUCKILY, I was close by, so I went back to see if I could get what I wanted. Didn't know cutting, toasting and buttering a bagel was such a BIG deal. The difference was 75 cents... and I offered to pay it, but they refused to make me what I wanted without me paying for a completely new order. RIDICULOUS.

Shaun T.

Yelp
The bagels are really good. I've generally done "to-go" orders here, many times just loose bagels. If you get an everything bagel or sesame bagel, for example, the entire bagel is covered! Parking is generally easy, and service is good. It does get confusing with several servers behind the counter and the lack of a defined customer line. Also, no reflection on this place but do so many people really need to SAMPLE flavored cream cheese? If it sounds good.....can't you make the commitment to that choice?! So, the alternative is the worst case scenario is that you like your bagel a little bit less than you expected. But it keeps the line moving.

Neil R.

Yelp
Outstanding! I've been waiting to try these bagels and they did not disappoint. Yes, a bit different but that's the point. The sandwiches we got were delicious. The service was excellent. Don't miss it - I can't wait to come back!

J F.

Yelp
Cool, relaxing ambiance in which to sit and eat a delicious breakfast sandwich. The Standard (bacon, egg, and cheese) was crisp on the outside and tasty on the inside. The staff was friendly and fast with service. Don't know how they manage to get up so early and put a smile on their faces. The La Colombe coffee was a great wake-up drink. Nestled inside of a shopping center, the place can be slightly tricky to find right away. Solid 4 stars.

David L.

Yelp
Bagel sandwiches are good but they always mess up my simple orders. Check your items before you leave

Nando F.

Yelp
Clearly one of the better bagel joints in the area that I know of as in freshness. I do know of another bagel place in Bryn Mawr that I have perused, but Spread has been on point with their fresh bagels. Who can resist a fresh hot bagel right out of a wood fired oven? I know I can't, plus that inviting aroma alone will make you go crazy. It will literally have you thinking what do I order? I want that one with this, but wait there is a fresh batch in the oven! Well I guess I can wait for that to come out ! Then you peruse that menu of amazement, and your patience is out the door. Well that's how I try to approach situations like that. It never works out when I try to game plan that perfect combination, but I do make it work. So far every visit has been an enjoyable one , and if you are wondering which one to go with ? My friend my answer is it doesn't matter, you'll leave satisfied. What do I recommend and have enjoyed! *The Cure ~ This bad boy that is stacked, and jacked with a smoked cheddar, brisket, eggs, and smoked bacon with a sriracha spread. All of this was kept safe and secured on an everything bagel. *The Classic ~ When I say "Oh mama.. who's been naughty" , I really do mean "Oh mama.. who's been naughty" with this one ! Smoked Nova salmon, their homemade cream cheese, a slice or two of tomato , with onions on an everything bagel for the win. So good, it makes you want to go smack your mama. *Grilled Cheese ~ Yes a grilled cheese like no other. They flip it so it is inside out, but on that inside is where it's at. A perfectly toasted and grilled onion or plain bagel with perfect amounts of cheese, added tomato and lets not forget the bacon. A sloppy, but damn good sandwich that has me drawn to it like a moth to a zapper. This is my kryptonite, that has handcuffed my taste buds into submission. My Great White Buffalo. (Hot Tub Time Machine) *Pick a Bagel ~ Like I mentioned earlier you will not be disappointed. Choose one to however many and get their homemade spreads. I personally am fond of their maple bacon spread. Maple. Bacon. Spread. Those are some of the ones I've had that really stand out . I've also had their turkey club which was ok, but the ones I mentioned up top I consider their homeruns. Another plus you'd experience is they serve La Colombe coffee , an endless cup of the good stuff. So get in there grab a few, check out their decor and enjoy that moment of pure happiness. I am Nando, and I approve this message.

Rachel S.

Yelp
Yummy breakfast sandwiches. Ordered the Egg White Sandwich which had egg whites, Turkey bacon and mushroom. Not bad considering we aren't in Jersey or NY ;)

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Bagels are absolutely amazing ! Breakfast sandwiches are good. Could use more meat and less egg but since the bagel is freshly made it keeps me coming back.

Liz B.

Yelp
Very tasty bagels and cream cheeses. Coffee was also quite good. Tea selection is lacking - suggest adding a morning tea like English or Irish Breakfast, not just Earl Gray and herbals. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It was quite crowded on a Saturday morning around 10 am so just be prepared you may not get a table. Look forward to returning.

Anna C.

Yelp
Taste like grocery store bagels or even day old. no comparison to Up Ryes which is down the street

Hope M.

Yelp
Came here with a friend. Got the blueberry lemon bagel with pistachio honey cream cheese. Was outstanding.

Blake F.

Yelp
I've been patiently waiting for months for the new Spread Bagelry to open in the Bryn Mawr village shopping center. I've been to the location in Rittenhouse Square and really lived their bagels. Therefore, I really was excited for this location to open. It should be known that Spread Bagelry serves Montreal style bagels rather than the classic New York bagel. Montreal Bagels were first brought to the Montreal area by Jewish immigrants from Europe. I really love the taste of these bagels, especially because it has a bit of a sweeter complexion. Also, the bagels are all boiled in honey sweet water and wood fired making a really great bagel! This is Spread Bagelry was fairly crowded during the two times that I visited, but that could also be in part of the slow service. It took nearly 15 minutes to get just a plain bagel with cream cheese and the cashier also forgot to add 2 everything bagels to my order. While Spread Bagelry is fairly new they do need to work on their customer service. However, I'm sure that will improve as the employees at this location gain experience. Spread Bagelry is fairly expansive with bagels ranging from $3-5. However, you expect a good, quality bagel. Also, the Bryn Mawr Village where Spread Bagelry is located does not have a ton of parking. Therefore, it can be a bit hard to find a spot. Altogether, Spread Bagelry in Bryn Mawr is fairly expensive and needs to improve their customer service, but they serve some of the tastiest bagels in the Philadelphia region and on the Main Line!

Matt S.

Yelp
Well, Spread finally opened up. Have been waiting for this place since April. I guess the day I stopped searching to see if it opened was the day it opened. Walking in, it reminded me of an old train station. They had a flipboard, like 30th street station had, before they foolishly removed it... Seriously, this flipboard kept changing and showing different messages. The entire place looked and smelled awesome. I ordered a bagel, egg, sausage, and cheese breakfast sandwich, which took some time to make. That's a good thing. The sandwich tasted pretty good, but I'm not a real fan of american cheese. I think I'll see if they have other options next time... The sausage was pretty good and better than most other breakfast sandwich sausage options. The bagel on it's own is a bit different, since it is wood fired. The texture is a bit off, but it really works well as a sandwich. I'd love to come back and try it again. Can't say that it's the best bagel I've ever had, but it's a decent one. I'll be back to try more things. Glad it's here in town.

David K.

Yelp
The employees are never on top of theiir orders. I ordered something for a confirmed 8:37am pick up. Knowing that was the busy time, i gave them more time. I came at 9:15am. It still was not ready. This is a regular happening here.

Jana P.

Yelp
So good! These taste like traditional Montreal bagels! Between the sweet taste and the nice chewy texture, this place makes a great bagel. And if you are inclined, try the bacon maple cream cheese. It's happiness for your tastebuds. On to the coffee. It's fantastic! Try the oat Black and Tan, it's definitely a winner. The staff is very friendly and super flexible. I know because it took me a while to decide on just the right combination. Last but not least, another reason to love this place-they have Bialys!!!!

Jeanne O.

Yelp
Although I am something of a New York bagel snob, I decided to give the "Montreal Bagels" a try. Got them from Spread Bagelery in Bryn Mawr. Definitely NOT a New York style bagel, but VERY GOOD. The bagels have a drier, denser, sweeter crumb, and a crunchier crust. And they are full of flavor. I gave the blueberry lemon bagels a try, and instantly became addicted! I might add that the service was friendly and accommodating. I got some extra bagels for my freezer, but as soon as I run out, I will be back.

Raya G.

Yelp
I just want to say that it is always a pleasure coming into Spread Bagelry in Bryn Mawr. Not only are the bagels always amazing, fresh, warm and totally made with love, the staff here never fails to and always greets everyone that comes in with positive energy, kindness and big smiles on their faces. The whole staff are the nicest and sweetest people I've met in the service industry, and especially for working early mornings! I always leave Bryn Mawr Spread satisfied, happy and with a smile on my face. The service here at Bryn Mawr Spread is top tier, and the employees always show and provide immense effort and care in everything they do. Monique, Donecia, Victoria, and Chris are especially amazing and are the sweetest, kindest servers ever! Every single employee here needs a raise for their stellar customer service, kindness, hard work, and positive energy they show every day! The excellent service provided, is what makes me come back every time - From a very happy customer

Corinne S.

Yelp
Very disappointed. Ordered online a rosemary and olive oil bagel with veggie cream cheese and received a plain bagel

Samuel A.

Yelp
Ok I got the standard bagel sandwich and it was fire. Definitely gonna go back and try other items though too. People who are hating are probably looking for a NY bagel. Newsflash: the world doesnt revolve around New York! Both Jersey and Montreal make better bagels than NYC. I said what I said. Also idk if they have this in other locations, but in the Bryn Mawr one there's a split-flap board reminiscent of an old train station. That made my numtot soul very happy. A little too expensive but I guess that's the Main Line.

Julie M.

Yelp
I want to like and support a local business, but despite having delicious bagels (and bialys!) this place has terrible service. No matter the size or simplicity of your order, you will wait or have your order randomly cancelled or lost. Sandwiches and even cream cheese bagels take an inordinate amount of time -- even if you are the only customer -- there seems to be no management or standard of service. Recently we placed an online order for pickup on a weekend morning, got a confirmation text, they charged our account... when we drove to the store (30+ mins round trip) , it was shut. Finally someone came out to say that they had gotten a late start and wouldn't have bagels for another 90 mins at the least. They said they had cancelled our order, but in the meantime, despite's reaching out several times, the charge remains on our account. Charitably, I thought maybe this was a one-off but reading through the reviews, I realize this is an endemic problem. Too bad because it's a good product, but everything else is a huge disappointment.

Dave B.

Yelp
We love bagel sandwiches. The bagels are great here, but everything else is HORRIBLE. Today the MANAGER WAS RUDE! There's less than a 50-50 chance that your order will be what you placed. They just don't read the tickets. Today was the last straw: I went back inside because my order was not correct. I asked the manager if the way I was entering the order was correct because I did not get the correct order (it was not scooped, missing mayo, missing onion, missing salt and pepper). She said I was ordering correctly, gave me a small container of mayonnaise and walked away! I was told by the cashier that there was no salt or pepper. Seriously? We're not coming back.

B S.

Yelp
Very good bagels and almost like fairmount bagels in Montreal. Seemed very fresh and firm with right amount of seasoning. Didn't seem as sweet as true Montreal bagels, still very good overall. Coffee great too!

Kristen G.

Yelp
In my quest to find good bagels, I've been to Spread twice in the last week. There are apparently no good bagel places in West Chester so off to Bryn Mawr I went. You guys have like 4 good options in a square mile radius! Spread serves up "Montreal-style" bagels which as far as I know usually means three things: 1) boiled in honey-water before baking, so they're slightly sweeter on the outside than NY-style, 2) they tend to have a larger hole, which can make them tedious for sandwich-building, and 3) they are baked in wood-fired ovens. I can only confirm Spread does #3, but it's a great element to their bagels. As far as the holes, I'd say they are about the same as NY-style here. I tried a Plain, an Everything, and a Chocolate Chip. The chocolate chip was really nice - the base seemed to be darker than I'm used to so I wonder if they use a bit of wheat flour or perhaps some of the chocolate melts into the dough. Either way, it was good! They were out when I visited the second time but I'll definitely get another in the future. My favorite bagel here has actually been the Plain. It's so soft with a nice chew and I will quickly put away a whole one even without toasting it or adding any toppings. I had to get extras on my last visit because one inventively doesn't last the car ride home. I also enjoy the aesthetic inside the store. Love the letter flip-board that is reminiscent of a train station. Is it weird that I want one of those in my house now? Service was good both times I went. The first time the cashier addressed me by name as I was swiping my card which I thought was a nice touch. Next time I'm there I'd like to try some of their sandwiches, spreads, or bagel pizzas!

Xiaowei N.

Yelp
My family and I love Spread Bagelry at Bryn Mawr. The bagels are always freshly and they are the best I have ever had! I like to bring them to my work events and they are always a hit. whenever we plan something, my co workers would always say "Spread Bagels". Our favorite spread is the honey pistachio cream cheese. Another favorite is the smoked salmon cream cheese with big chunks of salmon!

Alan M.

Yelp
The bagels are small, too dry, and way too expensive! They resemble a New York bagel about as well as a Dunkin' donut does.

Lexie M.

Yelp
Decent new bagel spot, but nothing out of the ordinary. I was excited for our area to gain another bagel spot because we are so in need. There was quite a line when I went this weekend and although it moved kind of slowly, It wasn't too bad. I decided to order a sausage egg and cheese on a whole wheat everything bagel. It took about 15 minutes for the bagel to be ready but this was expected with the line. I was pleasantly surprised by the portions of ingredients in the bagel. There was plenty of egg and cheese which was good. Unfortunately I wasn't blown away by the actual taste of the bagel, I expected it to have more flavor. Maybe it was just the one I chose, so I'll definitely try a different one but I wasn't blown away.

Caroline G.

Yelp
The bagels here are good, but the people that work here are very rude! Makes it hard for me to want to come back. The first time I went here the woman at the register was very uninterested and sour. Our order also took 30 minutes for 2 bagels & cream cheese. (There were only 2 people in the store!) She also asked a customer to bring orders to people sitting outside because she didn't feel like coming around from behind the grill. She had two other people working that could've easily covered her post at the register. The next time, I called to place and order over the phone and the woman said "can you just place your order online thanks." I was already driving and unable to place and order on my phone, but was floored by the response. I can understand if they were busy, or unable to take orders, but with no explanation this response was very rude. The food is good, but the woman at the front register is so off putting it is hard to have a good experience.

Marcel M.

Yelp
Can I get that Yummy yummy yummy yummy yum? Yes you can at Spread Bagelry!!! Authentic Montreal-style bagels boiled in a touch of honey and oven roasted in the oven fresh every day....tasty and fresh My go-to is bacon egg and cheese and cinnamon raisin with cream cheese yum. Always fresh and always duhlicious!!! Friendly, attentive staff ready to please. La Colombe coffee, how can you go wrong? Thanks for making my every day!!!

joseph w.

Yelp
Disappointing and fairly expensive. I was just a little surprised that a sesame bagel was a bit hard ... certainly not fresh ... and it was an early morning purchase (9 AM). I read a lot of reviews calling them "Montreal-style." If that is the case, I will certainly not be ordering bagels if I ever visit Montreal.

Matthew W.

Yelp
Good service and bagels were great. Casual and it's was a busy Sunday am day if the NFC championship game so busy

Linh C.

Yelp
Great bagel sandwiches. My favorite is the tuna melt. It has crunchy vegetables, good chunks of tuna, and great tasting cheese. However, it's not too rich when it has a nice covering to black pepper. I've gone to this location multiple weekends. It seems like there is always a wait, so I recommend ordering online and getting pick up. They place the pick up orders on the counter, so you can skip the line, pick up and go.

Ellen C.

Yelp
Avoid this Spread Bagelry at all cost!! They have the worse service, the most unprofessional approach I have ever seen. They closed down to get caught up in making bagels after waiting in line for 15 minutes to place an order. A woman came in and butted in line to complain that they got her order wrong for the 4th time...why bother coming? Then after I paid for my bagels, the guy behind me they gave for free. When I questioned why he got them for free and they just charged me, they ignored me. I despise this business. It is too bad because their bagels are delicious.

Jordy A.

Yelp
A good bagel can never make up for poor service. Basically annoyed to help customers. I hate writing a review so negative but it was notably bad. The gent making the sandwiches was frustrated with the lack of help from the cashier. Maybe others have a better experience than we did but will not make a return trip to Spread.

Nader H.

Yelp
The owner has no clue how to run a business ! All the orders take too long to prepare . The results is a lot of customers stopped coming here . They started going 2 blocks away to get their bagels !

Danii K.

Yelp
So very rude. The cashier treated me like I was an idiot; I asked for the classic on an everything bagel with capers - she asked what kind of bagel so I said everything. She put it in as 2 bagels and got mad at me for it? Then another woman came to deliver a skim latte to the guy next to me and he asked a question and she goes "no - you got SKIM."

Danielle T.

Yelp
These are THE best bagels I've ever tasted. I dream of them. I fear I am addicted? Service is always pretty quick. They are cashless so pay with card or Apple Pay. Pre-covid there was limiting seating but nowadays I get them to go.

Garrett D.

Yelp
Great bagels and egg & cheese breakfast sandwiches. Took awhile but they now have online ordering too.

Liz T.

Yelp
Fresh bagels, good coffee, and a nice selection of other treats. The montreal style is unique and tasty while still being all around good classic bagels. They also have an awesome variety of cream cheeses - I especially love that the scallion cream cheese has fresh scallions. Yum!

Matt B.

Yelp
This place is a "Karen's" dream. They have somewhat decent food but the biggest problem is the staff. I have been here a couple of times and every time they are highly understaffed. The few people that they do have working are usually incompetent and rude. It's honestly a show every time I go. So, if you want to wait an hour for a burnt bagel and be shocked by the staff definitely try Spread Bagelry! Also they don't take cash but don't tell you until after you order so make sure you bring a card.

Jillian J.

Yelp
Wanted to like this place so much as I love the one in the city. Went today and got two bagels to make a sandwich at home. Good thing I didn't order anything on them as the marble rye was raw in the middle still. The whole wheat bagel I got was good but also didn't feel completely cooked. I hope kinks are worked out so they thrive. The vibe inside is nice.

DJ C.

Yelp
I went to this place as things began opening up during Covid 19 and always tipped generously to ensure they could stay open, and to help the staff. After my last experience I am kicking myself for helping support a business that deserves to fail. Spread in Bryn Mawr will mess up orders, overcharge you, and waste a lot of your time over a toasted bagel. I hate that it is the closest bagel place to me, but take solace knowing that this will probably not be the case for very long.

Dave S.

Yelp
I stopped in to get some bagels for home. While there I ordered a breakfast sandwich. The price seemed high at $9.00 but I'm happy if the quality was there. I waited and waited but no sandwich. The counter workers kept saying, "Not much longer." When asked. After 25 minutes waiting I asked for a refund since I could see that nothing was still started on the grill. It wasn't unusually busy.
