The Best Restaurants In & Around Point Pleasant 2025 - Jersey Shore - The Infatuation

"The lack of great seafood restaurants along the Monmouth County coast is almost as disappointing as missing that once-a-season whale sighting because you ran off the beach to refill the cooler. Thankfully, Spring Lake Seafood bucked that trend a few years back when this BYOB option opened its doors. The ahi tuna with house-made lo mein noodles, a crisp arugula topped fluke milanese, and their whole fried fish are among the menu highlights. Perhaps the biggest surprise you’ll find at Spring Lake Seafood is their thoughtfully curated, high-quality sushi menu—you won’t find any of the overly saucy sushi rolls that have taken over every convenience store and local tavern these days. We recommend the bluefin tuna flight and ora king salmon options for the table." - michael sinatra

Spring Lake Seafood Review - Spring Lake - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"The lack of great seafood restaurants along the Monmouth County coast is almost as disappointing as missing that once-a-season whale sighting because you ran off the beach to refill the cooler. Thankfully, Spring Lake Seafood recently opened, making it one of the best new restaurants in the area offering fresh, locally-caught sustainable seafood. The ahi tuna with house-made lo mein noodles, a crisp arugula topped fluke milanese, and an octopus served with lemony fennel and potatoes highlight a widespread menu of fish-focused options. The restaurant is a BYO and also operates as a fish market and coffee shop by day. So it’s possible to find yourself here three times in one day: grab a coffee, come back for some fish to toss on the grill for lunch, and round things out by coming back for dinner with friends. Google
What a wonderful meal and overall experience at Spring Lake Seafood. The property itself is beautifully detailed; a stunning yet relaxing and enjoyable space. The food was phenomenal. Incredibly fresh and creative dishes, well prepared with good depth of flavor, without trying too hard. Everything hit the mark well. We started with a salad course, I had the Bibb salad, which was delicious with fuji apples, candied walnuts, goat cheese champagne vinaigrette. Pretty sure the candied walnuts were made in-house, they had the perfect amount of crunch! My wife had the caesar, again spot on yummy salad. I walked past the service counter and saw they have a DRY AGER for their TUNA, which I have NEVER seen in a seafood restaurant. I'm a huge fan of dry aged beef, so seeing this put a big smile on my face. This place nerds out on the little touches, I love that. I got the bluefin tuna flight to sample the tuna and I will tell you it's the best tuna sushi I've ever had, so so good. Our main course we got crabcakes, and again they did top notch work. They used a remoulade that I've only ever had similar to (and have sought out since) at Del Frisco's but with less spice. I usually prefer broiled, but the crabcake had a perfect crust that didn't take away from the overall texture of the generous lump inside. They came paired with fingerling potatoes with a light sautee, and these brussel sprouts with this very unique sour citrus spicy flavor profile that I really enjoyed, full of flavor. Brad and Lula have a winner on their hands. Simply put, Spring Lake seafood is a 10/10, just go and you'll be blown away!

Went to spring lake seafood for the first time. Our server Livia was the best. She gave us such good recommendations as to what to order and was so attentive the whole time. I want to be her friend. Would come back :)

Google
Wow! Great food right in the center of Spring Lake. And open for dinner. Lovely space, great food, but…someone has to inform management that a completely pleasurable dining experience includes friendly, smiling staff. Only the lovely young lady who cleared our plates did so with a smile.

Google
Great spot solid food. Gluten free options available. We split a bunch of plates and that worked out really well. Mango tuna sushi roll 🍣 was great. Ps it’s BYOB but that have a ton of non alcoholic options for mocktails wine and beer all non alcoholic

Google
Burger Night What an exceptional event. The collab with The Galley was perfect. I never would imagine to load a burger with all those items. “The Gordo” Burger: White Cheddar, Egg, Lobster, and Caviar. Oh my Lord! It all paired perfectly. I split that as well as the shrimp burger. Also a great combo. It held its shape perfectly and had a nice taste with the remoulade. Only thing that could have used improvement was the fries. I could have done without those. If you want the Gordo, it wasn’t a “menu” option. It was a burger they made on IG. You have to add the items to regular burger.

I went to Spring Lake Seafood with some friends last night. We reserved a table for 5 people at 7pm. We were there a few minutes early and were seated by 7. The server was great, the food was delicious and timely. However at 8:37 when we were already beginning to settle up the bill one of the staff came up to our table to tell us there was another reservation for our table at 8:15 and we needed to leave. I looked at the reservation policy online this morning and it states reservations are for 2 hours. We did not overstay our time there and found it very rude that she would tell us that we needed to leave. So for that I only give 3 stars.

Google
We had a great dinner here. We started with the garlic shrimp and tuna pizza, both of which were delicious. The salmon and the scallops were both delicious as well.

Google
The decor and atmosphere are light, airy and very Jersey Shore. They do sell wine, offer a limited menu, and encourage to BYOB. For Mother's Day I was able to score a last minute, day before, reservation at 1:00 PM and we were seated promptly. Staff was friendly, if a tad overworked. We ordered a mix of entree's and apps, brought our own wine and the food was solid for the most part. Octopus was tender (not rubbery) if a tad salty. Beet salad was refreshing but could have used an aged balsamic dressing. Menu itself is eclectic and borderline over-complicated , for all that it wasn't overwhelmed with dishes, but rather so many styles in a small menu. Tapas and salads, standard appetizers, dinner specials, pasta, sushi options. It could benefit from a menu reorg and simplification. Plating is attractive and straightforward. Seating was roomy and not overcrowded. Service was a smidge slow because they were busy. What I most appreciated was that they're a fresh seafood place in a beautiful town, just where you want to go for something special.

Yelp
My husband and I split the ninja sushi roll to start which was delicious. We then both ordered the hot lobster roll. I paid for the substitution of a salad in place of the fries. The side salad was tasty with a sprinkling of breadcrumbs on the top and crunchy capers. My husband got the fries that come with the sandwich which were good. The lobster roll itself was good, but we have had better. Overall, we liked the meal and felt like the menu had a lot of good options. It took a very long time for the food to come out. Also it's a BYOB. We only had water to drink but noticed the rim on the glass bottle they provided was moldy. When we pointed it out to the sever she gave us a fresh one but it was also in need of a cleaning.

Yelp
Made a reservation at spring lake seafood for date night. It has a cute nautical vibe. I could see them being insanely busy during the summer. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. We got the tuna pizza - amazing. The sushi was so fresh. I also ordered the ricotta cavatelli - perfectly spicy. Ugh so good. If you're craving seafood, this is a definite place to try.
google avatar

Melissa A.

Yelp
Sushi was amazing - pricey but so worth it! We sat at the sushi bar which I wouldn't recommend as it's tight but we couldn't get any other reservation. Tuna flight was delicious. BYOB always a plus

Yelp
$32 for fish & chips. Very little fish and a gigantic portion of fries enough for 4 people. Outrageous charge for so little fish. So disappointing. Order something else if you visit. I'm not going back.

Yelp
Nice and cozy atmosphere, a relaxed small town vibe. We had ceviche and tacos, as well as cocktail. Service was also Okay. Had a nice time.

Yelp
Wow, this place exceeded my expectations. Service was excellent. Our server, Brody, was really knowledgeable and friendly. The food was just incredible and the portions are not stingy. I find most places tend to skimp on the seafood dishes, but not here. Finally a place that offers decent portions of quality seafood. Drinks: They offer a limited selection of bottles of wine, otherwise you can BYOB. Food: We loved every bite. All the fish was fresh and tasty. The tuna pizza is basically a round crispy spicy tuna, it was so good. The Bibb salad is simple and full of flavor. We had a special spicy lobster roll that was fresh and flavorful. I had the butterfly black sea bass and it was cooked to perfection. I also really like that they cook it in butter and not in vegetable oil. You can taste that they use quality ingredients here. He got the ahi tuna and really enjoyed it. The soba noodles were so yummy. Definitely plan to come back here.

Yelp
My first experience at Spring Lake seafood will not be my last. I love "beachy" atmosphere, and the service was attentive and friendly at Springlake Seafood. I particularly liked meeting the staff member named Collin he is a delight! He remembered my brother and spouse, which was super special for them. The food was delicious. My highlights were the oysters Rockefeller and the tuna "pizza". The tuna pizza reminded me of a Jersey shore, Nobu tuna on crispy rice. (how's that for high praise ) I loved the presentation. My husband really liked his Yellowtail Chili Crunch Nigiri. Just by watching him eat it I knew it was Divine. I sampled the Kamikaze Ora King Roll- (ikura, crunch, sticky soy). It was yummy, very rich with a sweet smoky tone. I think that roll is a good one to share. Everyone raved about the lobster crunch roll, it looked perfect. I thought the sushi was priced reasonably well for the high-quality. For my actual entrée, I tried the fjord trout special. The dish was described as a "Salmon like" trout with burr blanc sauce, asparagus, and pomme purée. I was a little bit disappointed to find a scoop of mashed potatoes when I was expecting creamy purée. (and I still lived through the shock. Lol, jk) I think I would've liked the dish a little more if they were just called mashed potatoes. The trout was very dense and not what I expected, but the crispy crust was fantastic. I cannot wait to come back to this delicious fun restaurant the atmosphere. The service and yummy menu is a total winner for me. I give it a solid four stars. I typically safe five stars for five star restaurants perfect perfection over the top so four stars is a big compliment.

Yelp
Our server Lexi was good and she was very attentive. It's just the food wasn't the greatest. The salad was fine . I got the mixed greens but got the dressing on the side. It was good I did that because I didn't like the dressing. It was very lemony. Too sour for me. They don't have ranch and had to settle for Cesar dressing. The crab cakes did have a lot of crab meat but that's all I ate. The meal came with Brussels sprouts but no where on the menu did it say they were going to throw lemon on them too. It said spicy but the lemon overwhelmed the spice. The fingerling potatoes tasted like they had sat around awhile. My sister got the Scottish Salmon . She asked for medium and it came over cooked. It was dry and she sent it back. It the special and was to come out with mashed potatoes but they brought out more fingerlings . She reminded them the menu said mashed. The second time her salmon came out with the center raw. She had to send that back. Finally it came done right. Of course I was already done eating. She watched me eat, I watched her eat. We have come to the conclusion that Spring Lake has no good restaurants. It was surprising to us since it is an upscale community.

Yelp
Fantastic food and the menu so interesting and enjoyable. A wonderful experience! An absolute Must!!

Yelp
Came here for a friend's birthday. Be sure to make a reservation in advance, especially if you're a larger party! We called 1-2 weeks ahead and the only time available was 5:30pm. This place is super popular, so take the time to reserve a table. Everyone has a fantastic time and really loved their dishes. Very limited wine selection, so bring your own. They provided us with an ice bucket. The oysters were delicious! Some of the best I have tried on the Jersey shore. Highly recommend. I opted to have an appetizer and salad for my main course, and man were those servings huge! The mussels were delicious and some of the fries had time to soak up the delicious broth. A side of bread would have been nice to dunk. My Bibb salad was fantastic. Several folks got the seafood pasta special or the fra diabolo. Massive servings. Great pasta. Delicious broth. Dessert was delicious. I really enjoyed my bread pudding, my friend could not stop raving about the blueberry cake, and too friends practically inhaled their affogatos. Staff were amazing. Service was quick. Never felt rushed.

Yelp
Went to Spring Lake Seafood with a friend on Friday night. The sushi rolls and tuna pizza were delicious, especially the sauces! We were seated at the bar. Service was nice and quick enough. Ambiance is pretty cosy. Beach vibes in the restaurant.

Yelp
Love this place! I've been here a few times and the food is always on point, the service is great, and the ambience is awesome! Such a cute little gem in Spring Lake!!

Yelp
I cannot tell you the amount of relief I get when I sit down at a restaurant and am greeted with a menu that is a single page long. It often promises outstanding quality and shows a kitchen has perfected their craft. At Spring Lake Seafood, that promise was kept. The location is small, but not so small that you're going to be uncomfortable. They've good seating indoors and out. I, on a hot evening, took a table on the porch. I was served by the lovely and professional Bri, and was told of the wine list from a small label of California. (Bottle of white, bottle of red, perhaps a nice Rosé instead?) Specifically, a Chardonnay, a Pinot Noir, and a Rosé. As I was having oysters to start, I chose the crisp Chardonnay. Such a perfect pairing! (The gourmands can keep their champagne.) Main course was going to be a bit tricky-so many things to choose from- but I could not help from selecting the day boat scallops, with cauliflower purée, forged mushrooms, green beans, and grapefruit browned butter. I was in culinary bliss with each bite! And my guest equally enjoyed a special of shrimp encrusted salmon. I'll definitely be back here again. If you're in the Spring Lake area, and want a night out featuring the best seafood (and possibly the best food, period) in town, look no farther than the aptly named Spring Lake Seafood. (I write 5-star reviews and ONLY 5-star reviews)

Yelp
Chef Bradley is doing some real magic here at Spring Lake Seafood. Serving some modern takes on classic seafood favorites as well as inventive, nouveau sushi and Japanese forward seafood dishes. The respect for the honest ingredients he shows is evident in the all the clean tasting, impeccably fresh fish. Service here is warm and comforting; our server George was knowledgeable about the menu and had some very helpful and delicious suggestions. The atmosphere has a definite maritime feel while being casual. When packed with people on a busy Friday night, the place is alive and buzzing. Now on to the part where you're all here for...THE FOOD!!! -All the sushi was super fresh and expertly seasoned...similar to an omakase experience (no soy sauce needed!) -Appetizers were good...especially the buffalo calamari! -Two best dishes of the night had to go to the 2 entrees...Tuna Milanese (lightly breaded and fried tuna cutlet, topped with an amazing arugula salad) and Fried Whole Black Bass (easily 3+ lb. black bass fried whole, drzzled with spicy mayo and served with your choice of veg and fingerling potatoes) -Dessert was pretty good as well...the banana bread pudding is definitely recommended as the only house made dessert (slightly warm with velvety vanilla gelato and caramelized pecans) Overall, a feast fit for any seafood lover! Definitely recommended...WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Yelp
Went there one rainy friday afternoon. Food was excellent. Service was fast. Our server was very good and helpful it was our first time. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Yelp
Really good lobster Mac and cheese! A ton of lobster, and really tasty. The salmon burger was huge and also really good. The fries were ok, pretty burned, and the clam chowder was a generous portion broth-wise but no clams or potato pieces really? A lot of carrots though. Would be back for dinner for some of those pastas on the menu! And the service was really friendly and prompted.

Ryan C.

Yelp
Highly recommend. Servers were very friendly and helpful... even made us drinks with liquor we brought. They are byob but have wine available. Little pricey but you get what you pay for. Menu isn't huge but dishes are prepared well. Will definitely be going back
google avatar

Erin L.

Yelp
Food: I liked our spaghetti with clam sauce a lot! My brother had the burger with fries, fries were a bit too. The Buffalo sauce with calamari was a bit of a miss for me. Our waitress was very sweet and I like the decor a lot, felt very comfy with my pillows! However, noticed a couple things: 1) the location is pretty spacious but they had everyone seated all together in the back. It got noisy and hard to hear each other 2) food came out pretty quickly, but there was some confusion around whether we were to wait outside or ask inside for seating- took awhile for the hostess to come out I can see where some customers with disabled could get frustrated - the house is a little older and there are steps, and people are running all over.

John S.

Yelp
4 out of 5 meals were wrong. One came with wrong sides, one as undercooked based on the order, one was served at the wrong time, and one came to the table 10 min after all the other meals. To me, these was all kitchen management issues. So not a fan
google avatar

Veronica W.

Yelp
I had a reservation for 7:30 & it was incredibly packed. We started with a sangria pitcher (which was $40 & we were unaware of this until after we ordered) & a SLS platter which was oysters, clams, shrimp & 1/2 a lobster. The raw platter was great. We loved it. Then we ordered the dinner special or the night, Mahi mahi & the Rigatoni Fra Diablo. these entrees were phenomenal & the raw bar was spectacular as well. Service was great. It is on the pricey side but everything proved that it was well worth it. The best part was the raw bar. Definitely would come here again when I come back to Spring Lake.

Yelp
The food and service here is absolutely amazing! Went for my boyfriend's birthday with a group of 13 people. Our server Lexie was awesome. Everything was delicious and served perfect timing! This was our second time here and I can't wait to go back. The servers absolutely exceeded my expectations for the "happy birthday dessert" with music playing loud, clapping, dancing, Bella was bringing the energy! So much fun. Thank you and we will be back!

Yelp
We love this lively addition to Third Ave! The owners have done an outstanding job with the space - it blows my mind that it used to be Who's on Third! The food is fresh as can be (using locally caught ingredients) and consistent. Some of our favorites include the tuna pizza, oysters Rockefeller, rigatoni fra diavalo and any of the sushi rolls. Love the byob aspect :). Service is always friendly and efficient. We feel so lucky to have this place in town!

Alison B.

Yelp
Great food. We had the lobster roll and trout sandwich. Extremely friendly service, great atmosphere. We will be back!!!

Yelp
What a nice surprise. Downtown Spring Lake looks like a place out of a movie set. Spring Lake Seafood is on the corner and has a cool vibe inside. The food hits the mark too. The organic wings were delicious and had just the right amount of heat. The tuna pizza was our favorite. The crispy rice was lovely and the tuna was fresh. I don't like the pizza name but order it. So good. The beet salad was good. The fluke milanese was delicous. It has a nice sauce that comes with it. The caper/butter sauce was legit. The rigatoni, bolognese dish was al dente and nicely done. The dessert is also worth ordering. Cool spot!

Yelp
UPDATE - the owner just called me (from a no id number) telling me that I'm a psychopath for writing this review. HORRIBLE for families or celebrations. I was so excited for our family of 10 (with 1 high chair) to celebrate my dad's 75th birthday. We had a 5pm reservation. My 18 month old son was equally as excited and squealing with delight at the table. Immediately after we ordered, the owner approached me to ask how she could 'help' quiet my happy toddler. She assured me that she is a mom and may have ideas that I had not thought of. And asked me to consider the other diners' experiences. (Note - she did not bring crayons or do anything helpful. And the kids' food took 40 minutes to arrive). I was offended and upset by her condescending tone and approach. When I got visibly upset, the hostess got involved to back up her boss, together they bullied me about my parenting. Why isn't the owner telling the other diners 'Be kind.' We got through dinner, but then another family approached us with support on their way out and the hostess scolded us for speaking negatively about our experience. The hostess then asked us to pay the check (in full) and leave, before cake. Out of nowhere the chef / owner approached me and began aggressively yelling, while I was holding my toddler. (Note, he claims he was not yelling and always speaks in this volume and tone ). I felt attacked. We paid the check and left. I was in tears, again. The entire experience was AWFUL. Also, the mussels were gritty. Please consider this review before dining here.

Yelp
I'd have to echo the point of another poster. I almost don't want to write this review because I selfishly want to make reservations and not have this place completely overrun in the summer. But when a small business does it right they deserve to be recognized. Chef Brad and team are the real deal. The absolute freshest seafood prepared perfectly in a laid back coastal themed dining room. Right on Spring Lakes main drag. Can't beat BYOB as well- don't forget the bottles! Love this place.

Yelp
Loved this restaurant! The ambiance was inviting and although it was quite busy it was not loud. We were greeted and seated immediately. With so many wonderful options it was not easy to choose, however finally settled on their garlic shrimp and Caesar salad. Delicious! They were knowledgeable and careful once I informed them of my food restrictions, which I appreciate greatly. The winter sangria was not the best choice I could have made as it did not pair well with my lunch, but it was delightful!!

Rob R.

Yelp
Terrible service, looks like they hire grade school kids, food took forever, overpriced, total ripoff!!

Anne R.

Yelp
I got the waygu steak bavette and it was delish!!! Everything was cooked perfectly, was probably one of the best meals out I've had in a long time! I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Michaela H.

Yelp
Cute vibe inside and out, food is really fresh and good. Sushi was delicious, mango roll was our favorite. We ordered 3 rolls and 3 apps. Mango passion fruit cocktail was 10/10 mixed with tequila we BYOd.

Yelp
Amazing lobster roll & clam chowder! Loved sitting outside on the patio under the tent, great ambience too.

Yelp
very small yet quaint in a restored older home in Spring Lake. our server was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained everything on the menu. they are BYO but also offer a small selection of single servings and bottles to pair with your meal. we shared a sushi roll & salad to start, our main entrees were tasty - i thought my husbands special was much better than my scallops, which were just good. for dessert we shared a slice of key lime which apparently, the mayor of spring lake makes all the desserts for the restaurant, kinda a cool twist!

Stephanie L.

Yelp
I almost don't want to write this review because I want to be able to make a reservation all the time, but alas I will because this place is INCREDIBLE. We had: - Buffalo Calamari (lightly breaded and fried, wish there was a little more bleu cheese, but that's just me) - Tuna Pizza (I'm salivating while typing this) - Yellowtail Roll (so fresh) - Fjord 3 ways roll (fjord is the new salmon and it's fire) - Fjord nigiri with heirloom tomato jam () - The most delicious banana bread pudding with their vanilla gelato - espresso Highllyyy recommend their sushi, their service, and just this restaurant overall. Shoutout to Nancy for stellar service and Chefs Brad and Areyali for one of the best dinners we've had in a long time around here!

Jeffrey S.

Yelp
Just had lunch today at Spring Lake Seafood it was terrible first the New England clam chowder was so watery one taste my wife could not have any more , Kids grill cheese the cheese was not melted, and finally the chicken salad was so dry and no taste, the French fries were ok. The service was slow and the waiter look nervous. We did complain about the soup but he said it was New England clam chowder it was not crème at all look like vegetable soup. Never going back

Gail L.

Yelp
Very good food a little noisy They do have an outside which may be more conducive to discussion. The lobster roll was very good, tuna pizza flavorful and salads were fresh and nicely dressed.

Yelp
Disappointing ... service was good food was not :( should not call dishes tapas they were NOT tapas portions ... big apps that were not quality at all ... mussels fishy ....wagu bites salty .. came over salad w tomatoes .. ur in jersey serve good jersey tomatoes ! Buffalo calamari not good .. left hungry .. stopped and had to get a slice of pizza :(

Susie M.

Yelp
Super cute restaurant! Food is good and the service was great! The only thing I would change is the bun that comes with the lobster roll, it was a dry and burnt hotdog bun. It should be a potato roll. Lol The music inside is good but too loud, hard to hear your table mates talk.
google avatar

Jordan S.

Yelp
The food was delicious. But, for a pricey meal (charging $45 for an entree)you'd expect adequate air conditioning ( in August). It was very uncomfortable and many patrons were fanning themselves with menus and the waitstaff were all flushed. In addition, a server knocked into my chair with barely an apology and it was extremely loud. For a restaurant that serves sushi, they don't serve soy sauce, you need to ask for it. Finally, the food is served very quickly.... It's not a relaxing, have a leisurely meal kind of place.

Yelp
We made reservations for outside seating at 630 on Oct 16. We walked from the hotel but it ended up being chilly so we asked if we could sit inside instead, and the hostess seated us with no problem. Our server was friendly and made some recommendations. We started with clam chowder and shrimp cocktail. We didn't expect the clam chowder to be such a big bowl but it was delicious, very creamy with lots of potatoes, corn and clams. RJ ordered the lobster roll and I ordered the bay scallops. He was disappointed the lobster roll was cold, which isn't specified on the menu, but it was good. The Day Boat Scallops were small but tasty. I was disappointed they didn't come with the broccolini which was on the menu and just had boring green beans instead. The server said the desserts were made in house but we were too full. If we had known we would have skipped the apps to save room.

Yelp
Excellent sea food and especially their sushi! We loved the mango, ceviche and lobster rolls. The yazu mocktail was great as well. But the dish we returned for was actually the carrot cake!! Be sure you ask your server to reserve a slice!! Very nice Latin music. Only bummer is that it can get loud in the main dining area.

Yelp
Nope - probably not worth it. It's only redeeming quality is it's relatively close proximity to the beach. When we arrived, we thought we would sit outside, but apparently a couple employees were taking their break on the porch area. These dudes were talking so loud... like the same volume you would speak if you were trying to communicate with someone while sitting front row at a heavy metal rock concert. We moved inside, and conditions were slightly better. Food wasn't great - and service was okay at best.

Yelp
Delicious, fresh, sustainable seafood with a chill vibe and creative mocktails. Great lunch place if you are shopping on Third Avenue. Service good. BYOB

Yelp
Don't go here unless you want to be ripped off. I spent $34 (cash..would have been more w credit card) for a very lame lobster roll. The lobster meat was tasty but the portion was so small, maybe 3 bites worth. The bun was a bit stale, not toasted. No lettuce. No coleslaw. No lemon or garnishes. I like shoe string fries but these were soggy and not fresh. Nothing about this meal justified spending $34.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I had just spent a day at the beach and were hankering for seafood. I checked online and there was only available reservations at 9 p.m. it was only around 5:15 and we weren't waiting for that. I ended up calling the restaurant and the woman that answered the phone told me that there were some tables in and out available at the moment. Thank goodness! We arrived and were promptly seated next to another couple at a long high table. Our server came quickly and took our order in a timely manner. We shared the garlic shrimp appetizer and I had the scallops and my boyfriend had the warm lobster roll. Everything was quite tasty especially the sauce that the garlic shrimp was in. I wish that I had had more scallops as I was not full after eating them. Oh well. Overall, everything was yummy and our server was very nice and attentive to our needs of refilling our water bottle. We will be back!

Yelp
Staff is friendly and helpful, FINALLY a hip restaurant in spring lake with interesting and rotating specialties. Such a breath of fresh air. Recommend: tuna pizza, nigiri & oysters.

Yelp
We got there just past 3:30pm which was when the lunch menu was supposed to be over. However, the dinner menu didn't start until 4:30pm, so we were given the lunch menu. Why not just say that lunch is until 4:30p? We were given a carafe of water when we sat down, never offered any other beverages. I ordered a pasta bolognese which included in the description the phrases "cresta di galo" and "mira poix". Being unfamiliar with these terms I asked the waitress who also had no clue but bs'd her way through it to tell me that it's "pork and beef and everybody likes" it. I came to find out later that creste di gallo means the comb of a chicken and it should have been the type of pasta used but instead they used rigatoni. Mirepoix is a technique for cooking vegetables. The ricotta cheese featured in the dish was supposed to be "torched." It wasn't. It was just scooped out in a blob in the middle of the dish. The dish itself was not very tasty. There was no salt on the table, only pepper. No cheese was offered for the dish. My husband ordered the lobster roll, which he said was good. It was served with some overcooked fries. The waitress checked on us once. There is outdoor seating but that wasn't offered. The bill for our lunch came to $62 and change. Pretty overpriced for underwhelming food and ambiance. Our bill came with a little commemorative postcard which would have been a nice touch if it didn't have food stains and grease spots on it. Never again!

Yelp
This used to be our favorite place. From February to September we came at least 6 times. The menu has hardly varied during this time and we're bored. Also on July 4th weekend it took 90 minutes for our entrees to arrive - after being told we had to put the full order in at the same time. No accommodation was made by our server. We missed half the fireworks. Just went this past weekend and They have now covered where you used to be able to see the fish - which was our favorite part. I'd like to see this place survive so I recommend that the menu change every month similar to Skratch, Cave and The grand tavern.

Yelp
Raw oysters are the best. Whites clams are great too. Thank you, Dr. Jacqueline Sacco Sacco MD PhD

Yelp
Got seated at a table, and had to ask to be moved due to condensation dripping from the ceiling onto our table. We were moved to the bar, where we were given an ice bucket for our wine, and that was about the end of the service we received. We were ignored for 15 minutes, so we left. Staff should be more attentive, especially considering how pricey the food is.
