Bad Bunny-Approved Burgers — And More D.C. Restaurant Openings to Know in December | Eater DC

"NYC-born Springbone Kitchen brought its soups to D.C. for the first time on Friday, December 5; its entirely gluten-free menu showcases nutrient-dense bone broths served in portable coffee cups, plus warming soups, grain bowls packed with proteins, and its own line of hot sauce; the sleek, 20-seat space also debuts with a bone broth hot chocolate fit for winter." - Tierney Plumb

Springbone Kitchen - Review - Georgetown - Washington DC - The Infatuation

"Springbone Kitchen is a New York-based chain specializing in bone broths. They've also got mushroom broths, and bowls made with grass-fed meats and organic veggies. The Georgetown location is their first outside of the New York area." - Omnia Saed

NY’s Beloved Broth Pad Swings Into D.C. Just in Time for Winter | Eater DC

"In Georgetown, a 20-seat fast-casual outpost pours 36-hour bone broths made from grass-fed and free-range bones and organic vegetables, served to-go in lidded coffee cups alongside Immunity (collagen-rich chicken with ginger, garlic, vitamin C) and a silkier Liquid Gold (coconut milk, turmeric); co-founder Jordan Feldman’s favorite is the roasted tomato and Kerrygold cheddar soup, which arrives in a circular cup with a spoon. The other half of the paleo-leaning menu is fork food: composed grain and salad bowls like the best-selling Grandma’s Chicken and Rice powered by a house red habanero hot sauce made weekly in small batches, a Mexican Bowl with chicken thigh, bone broth rice, black beans, corn salad, guacamole, and feta, and a Mediterranean chicken bowl with herbed quinoa and tahini beet salad. Instead of a daunting line of fix-ins, ingredients are kept in back to reduce decision fatigue—customization is still welcome—and seasonal vegetables like Brussels sprouts rotate in; delivery is available, and the hearty dishes work for dinner as well as lunch. D.C.-specific touches include a classy setup with copper pots, brown leather, a wooden communal table, and hunter green “Georgetown Broth Club” caps, plus a grab-and-go freezer of quart-sized, ice-cream-tub containers of frozen soup sold nationally. Sweet finishes include individually packaged granola, brownies, and cookies made with almond flour and coconut sugar, and winter brings a “hot chocolate bone broth” made with grass-fed whole milk, chocolate chips, a spice mix, and a collagen marshmallow; opening promos feature $5 bowls and soup-or-broth combos, followed by a free broth with any bowl the next week, with prices starting at $4.95 for broths, $6.95 for soups, and $11.95 for bowls, and there’s a streatery out front." - Tierney Plumb

Google
Best bone broth I’ve had. The bowls strike a perfect balance—flavorful, nourishing, and reasonably priced. Service was exceptional, as well. We walked in right at closing, and the team still welcomed us (and a few others who came in after), insisting there was no rush and encouraging us to dine in comfortably. A great addition to the Georgetown food scene. Look forward to working our way through the rest of the menu!

Google
Springbone is such a great new addition to DC!The menu has so many great options, and I’m especially excited to finally have bone broth that’s really flavorful and satisfying. It’s the perfect cozy pick-me-up, especially on cold, snowy days. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to again and again when I’m in town.

Google
I tried the Immunity Bone Broth - wow, that was so delicious. Nice flavors & perfect for a cold cold day in DC. they need a big sign out with “WARM BROTH INSIDE”. So good!

Google
They serve too much rice to fill you up. Should be brown rice. And their Mexican bowl is not that Mexican. But great service.

Google
ASK if they use filtered BOTTLED water or DC sewage tap water for their core menu item, BONE BROTH

Yelp
My husband and I stopped by the soft opening of Springbone Kitchen in Georgetown. The restaurant was having a promotion: five-dollar bowls and a free broth or soup with purchase -- couldn't get any better than that! I had been wanting to try this place because everything is gluten-free for the most part, and they use clean ingredients. The staff was very welcoming and had great recommendations. I did the immunity broth, which was delicious. I didn't eat the chicken noodle soup until the next day, and it tasted really good. The only thing is, it had a lot of pepper and pepper and I just don't mesh well, so I was a bit disappointed in that. The bowls: I must say that the Mexican bowl was my favorite, but my husband liked the Mediterranean bowl more, so both are great options. I think the prices are great for the amount of food you get. The seating arrangement is a bit complicated. There wasn't a lot indoors. They have some outdoor seating, but it was just too cool to sit outside. But I suppose that's expected during opening weekend. Can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu!!
