"McDowell’s, the burger counter at the heart of Eddie Murphy’s 1988 cult classic romantic comedy Coming to America, is being resurrected this May in Springfield Town Center (6500 Franconia-Springfield Parkway). McDowells, a fully unauthorized “pop-up parody restaurant fan experience” will start serving Big Micks in a space that very closely mimics its movie inspiration, courtesy of JMC Pop Ups, the Washingtonian reports. The seedless bun burger the fictional restaurant is known for is on the menu, plus a meatless variety and a Magnum Mick with one pound of beef on a long, seedless bun. The pop-up will also sling chicken chunks, salads, and a few more items. In addition to the burger cafe at the heart of the movie, the pop-up will also bring to life Murphy’s character’s apartment and Mr. McDowell’s office, also according to the Washingtonian. Joe McCullough, owner of JMC Pop Ups, has an impressive track record of recreating movie and television show restaurants as immersive pop-ups. He ran Moe’s Tavern in the same space last year, and McDowell’s has already popped up elsewhere in the Mid-Atlantic, including New Jersey. His company has also run Galaxy Burger pop-ups. McDowell’s pop-up will run from May 20 through June 5 on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m., at the Springfield Town Center. Tickets, which start at $35 for adults ($15 for kids) are available here." - Stephanie Carter

Google
The center like any other centers and malls it has a food court, sports shops, mobile shops and stalls, fashion and so many more..The facilities such as the toilets are ok clean and parking area is convenient and lots of parking space... However, for groceries there is non and you may need to travel to a near supermarket for it... Also, bus stop is conveniently located at the parking lot and can take you directly to the Springfield Metro Station using 402 bus for only $2 and vice versa using the 401 bus. Overall, Springfield Town Center is easily accessible, conveniently located near public transportation and metro station and offers many shops and stalls that definitely provides the same experience that other centers and malls provides, not to mention a good place to hit your daily steps goals...

Google
First time in this Springfield Town Center, and it's super nice. Very is also a lot of things for the kids like a playground, mini car/cart and more. There is some nice decorations for every occasion Chinese New Year, Valentine... Bonus point for the restroom who are super clean !

Google
Very good mall! They have nice shops, restaurants, fast foods, salons etc all around.

Google
Medium income targeted shopping center with many empty stores. I have lived in this area over 30 years, and the mall has seen many owners, transformations and degrees of vacating stores; this is not the worst era, but it could be better Seems like management ignores that Princess Diana visited the mall back in 1985, and this could be used as promotional (a full size cut out photo and a bronze placard, maybe $3K) for the mall for photo opportunities

Google
Not too crowded on a Friday night. Lot of the stores were nice and updated. Went to Macy's and it was nice overall although some parts were older like the elevator! Oh, and a cop had an issue with my mom temporarily parking near the door so I didn't have to walk as far because I am disabled but overall had a great experience and the people in Macy's were nice :-).

Google
Best mall around! A lot of variety for food and shops! Usually a pretty busy mall in this dying mall age so that is saying something. One of my favorite movies Regals is in this mall. Just be careful, drinks add up and are $$$$

Google
Amazing local little mall! Since this mall got redone we haven’t really gone to Tyson’s. Now they don’t have all the stores we usually shop at but good for something quick!

Google
Beautiful place, many shopping outlets and nice area.Beautiful furniture nice people. Huge furniture store. The atmosphere was quiet and very calm easy to shop. Wide selection of products. I bought a wonderful little end table and a couple trinket pieces. People were very nice and wanting to help good customer service. Lots of beds selections as well as couches. Many different mirrors and more. Such as fire places and old king and queen beds. Antique furniture looks and very modern pieces as well. Diverse environment and very customer friendly. The employees were professional and promptly helping when needed. Huge mall thousands of things to do.

Yelp
I'm glad to see more people in the mall this weekend, and perhaps the holiday weekend brought out more shoppers. I had not been to this mall since last year, and back then I saw just a fraction of people walking in the mall. Whats even better is that there seems to be only a few vacant stores now. That being said,, there is still a good selection of shoe stores,, which was my main reason for coming here. I first set my sights in the food court, to see about getting some well-deserved lunch. Both of the restaurants where I usually go had lines of at least ten people. Thank goodness we found a table! It looked like everyone who was working at the store and in the food court were working hard to take care of everyone. The parking here at this mall is much more manageable than other area malls, and there are a lot of great stores to check out.

Yelp
This mall was easy to find and probably the closest I ever lived to a mall. I love the many stores and convenience of such a mall. My favorite parts of this mall is: - Regal Movie Theater - a cereal bar - Target - Five Below - Finding items I loved or needed for a very low price: a men's suit, strawberry dress, sun dress, evening dress, day dress, and memory foam slides. We didn't spend that much time down at the mall, yet we found what we needed.

Ian B.

Yelp
Mall security officer was very disrespectful to my group of 4. We had finished seeing a movie and wanted to grab a bite in the dining hall when a cop stopped us. He explained it was mall policy that we had to leave a member behind and walk in a group of no more than 3 since it was "suspicious." We weren't bothering anyone. Kids can't even go to the mall anymore. Not every kid is a thug.

Mike R.

Yelp
Laughing that it's referred to as "Springfield Town Center." It's still Springfield Mall to most of us. Also it still stinks, no matter the name change and redevelop work. Yes there is a Dave and Buster's, Dicks Sporting Goods, and Chuy's is fun. Sorry that won't save this mall, that seems to suffer from the areas crime rate. Yes Tysons recently had a shooting incident, but I feel much safer there, as this malls had more than one. I'm not saying this is the Wild West, but the Macys and JC Penny's here aren't the best. Maggiano's is a tasty restaurant, but the movie theater isn't so exemplary. Parking is a disaster, most of the stores are useless or shuttered. It's a dump. I won't go out of my way here, and don't think it's a good spot to go. Sure there's a Target, but that's not going to be a thrilling store. There's not much here, other than the Franconia district of the county, and I will go to other spots.

Yelp
I've never written a review about a whole town center/mall but this one needs a lot of improvement. The signs and maps are outdated (ex. said Carter's store was "Coming Soon" on all signs but it's been open for a while -- super annoying because the Carter's location on Google Maps was also very incorrect), women's bathrooms were closed, escalators were closed all over the place, and elevators were extremely hard to locate. It took way too long to get around. On the positive, we had a pleasant Easter Bunny photo experience for our child, and there was a nice Cherry Blossom event going on outside.

Reba H.

Yelp
This mall is huge! Lots of stores and a good selection. I didn't check out the food court but I like the stores it was pretty cool.

Yelp
I grew up within 10 minutes of this mall, when it used to be called in Springfield mall. This was really nice when it was newly renovated, but quickly being to lose stores such as Michael Kors, and every few months new stores are added and removed; but to be honest that's happening at every mall at this point because a lot of businesses are going mostly online and closing brick and mortar locations. The food court is quite diverse, and although there is a lot of foot traffic in this mall, the sales/profits don't do that well here like they do in other malls for some reason. The biggest perks in my opinion are a couple of the restaurants, the Target, comfy movie theatre, Sephora, Bath & Body Works, Victoria's Secret, and Five Below but that's about it. I believe if they open a Apple store in here, that would also be convenient, just because the other closest locations near here are Potomac mills and Tysons, and both locations have a lot of traffic, and tbh I believe Tysons is just overhyped because of the name, the mall with huge it's always busy and hard to find parking. I have worked at both Tyson's and Springfield town center, and have gone to Potomac mills since growing up. Most people go to Potomac mills bc there's various outlet stores so it's cheaper, the food court is larger, more restaurants near by, and people prefer Tyson's bc it has more high end stores, it's huge, packed and busy all the time. If Springfield kept the middle court of the mall clean where the center Starbucks is, had better food court options, and made a better mix of outlet and high end stores, this place would do better. It still has potential, but only has a few good stores.

Yelp
Today for the first time ever, we truly could not find our car at the mall. The security guard kindly took us to the security office where we were told the security patrol would drive us around to look for the car, which he did and we were able to locate our vehicle. We had gone in one entrance and out another, so we got disoriented. The security guard, the officer in the security office, and the patrol officer, Vo, were SO nice and SO helpful. It was our first experience in this situation (and hopefully our last!) and we really appreciate their kindness and professionalism.

Yelp
Ordered through Uber eats and the cheesesteak and fries were very good. I would highly recommend this place if you want a cheesesteak sub.

Michael N.

Yelp
This is the convenient mall. Not the place to really hang out. It has some of the regular stores you expect at the mall, such as H&M and forever 21. The food court is small with basically only 4 restaurants. Springfield mall is still decent. The outside anchor stores are nice though, there's restaurants and a Dave and busters. It's a little sad how the renovation didn't bump up this mall's popularity. The hangout mall would be Tyson's still.

Kianna H.

Yelp
Went on a Wednesday evening and was really disappointed with how dirty the mall was. Walked pass the Starbucks and tables were visibly dirty, trash on the floor, the floors looked like they hadn't been swept or mopped etc. I'm not sure what's going on but I do hope management takes care to address these things.

Sung P.

Yelp
There is a security guard on a power trip. He seems to be security for only the playground area and his only job is to tell parents to take off their shoes. Because he has nothing better to do all day. Come here if you want to be harassed from a guy who can't find a real job.

Yelp
Very updated & modern looking mall. The store ratio is 80% open & 20% out of business. Very good ventilation thru-out the mall. They also had the AC on MAX so it feels nice & cool inside the mall. The employees in most of the stores were very friendly & professional. Especially the jewelry stores. The prices weren't bad. They have dedicated people going around cleaning which is a plus due to C-19. Also there is sanitizer stations located around the mall. So another plus. The target that's attached to the mall is nice because it's like a one stop shop for everything plus the mall. Very good lighting & good amount of parking with free electric car charging and a TESLA supercharger station with like 8 chargers was another plus. But for the size of the mall. I think they need more security going around. I only seen one security vehicle outside the mall. Since the holidays are coming up. Crime always increases. So the mall needs to increase security really. Other then the low amount of visible security guards. There is not really any downfalls really. The food places could have been better though. The overall general crowd is middle class and adults & young adults. Some kids.

Yelp
If you think Summer, Fall and Winter were disappointed when you said you were abolishing seasons, how do you think Spring feeled? This is yet another annoying Mall in Northern Virginia - don't you guys have enough f***ing Malls, really - but at least this one isn't one of those awful open-air outdoor shopping Village type places with absolutely no parking. There are a few good things in here for both shopping and food - inside the massive food court - and there's a bubble tea shop which is pretty decent as well. It's usually busy and filled with kids and it's a pretty good mall to come to. Speaking of busy and filled with kids, does anyone remember Neverland Ranch circa 1991?

Kimberly J.

Yelp
This mall has changed a lot since my high school days. It used to be called Springfield Mall and there really wasn't a whole lot going on in here before. Dinning options were limited and the mall was quite outdated. They really made a lot of improvements. My family lives in Springfield, so its a super convenient mall to visit for a bite to eat or just to walk around and window shop. Parking can be a bit rough to find, depending on when you come. I'm glad that Target has been in here for the longest time. They also have a movie theatre, Dave & Buster's, &pizza, BGR- The Burger Joint, Chipotle, Chuy's, Grill Kabob, Maggiano's Little Italy, Nando's Peri-Peri, Panda Express, Sarku Japan, Yard House, Zinburger, etc. Silver Diner's is across the street from the mall. If you're in the mood for rolled ice cream or a cool drink, don't forget to check out Panda Tea House. It's near the food court. I'm glad this mall has so many dinning options.

Kapri T.

Yelp
i rate this a one star because while we was eating at the tables we had seen a couple roaches which is very disgusting and then there was a roach near the trash can. this place needs cleaned.

Austin G.

Yelp
Springfield Town Center is a large shopping mall in Springfield, Virginia south of Washington, D.C. Like most malls, there's plenty of free parking and every store you can imagine. This mall has a few murals and the food options pull from the local area- &pizza, etc.

Haisum B.

Yelp
Shitty over priced food. Unhygienic outdoor space the whole time mosquitos kept biting me and drinks arrived after the food.

Jemily H.

Yelp
I am so impressed with the complete 0 to 100 that Springfield Mall a.k.a. Springfield town Center has done. I remember when Springfield mall was somewhere you did not want to visit yet alone spend hours enjoying, however it is NOTHING like it's past self. Now, I honestly am a fan for multiple reasons, one of them is proximity. For years I had to make a pretty long commute with traffic to hit Tysons corner, but now having a mall so close to my hometown is honestly dangerous. Another big reason involves the variety, you can either go to the restaurant side and find a restaurant that will suit your fancy any evening, or venture into the mall and find many hip and trendy stores along with some classics. Of course Springfield Mall is still relatively up-and-coming. They do not have the selection that Tysons corner has for example, but they are definitely improving and constantly making new additions to keep the mall trending. After all comparison is the thief of joy and Springfield Mall definitely has done plenty good to impress me all by itself.

Sonia G.

Yelp
I really like the Macy's at Springfield. The new management is great. It's a bunch of guys and they seem to be more pleasant and the employees seems to be happy. This has improved their customer service (in my opinion). The H&M is awful.. they are so unorganized and the customer service is poor. The manager girl with the green and yellow hair is rude and doesn't care how she speaks to you. I had to call corporate on her. I will not stand for rude treatment by a retailer that I patronize A LOT!

Jasmine A.

Yelp
Dear Springfield Mall Management, Please add a child gate to the infant/toddler play area by Macy's. This area is perfectly designed for toddlers and infants, but due to lack of security, older kids as big as teenagers manage to take over this area made for smaller kids, which makes it unsafe. I've seen grown kids jump off the fruit in an effort to burn energy while little babies crawl by. I cringe every time realizing one day it will cause an accident that could've been prevented. FYI - Virginia Beach and Norfolk mall have gates for their infant/toddler areas. Norfolk added a security guard at their gate for extra security.

Nazir S.

Yelp
Be aware of the mobile fixing stalls in this mall, they use the most cheapest low quality material to fix your mobile screen which will not lost more than a week. This Mall allows the mobile fixing stalls in their mall to use the most cheapest and low quality materials, allow them to rip-off their customers without having a quality oversight on them. Just because twice in two different stalls the same cheap quality mobile screen fix happened to me, now I cannot trust entire mall. It kinda make think ten times before trying to purchase anything from this mall, just because of the two mobile fixing stalls around Starbucks coffee.

Katherine Y.

Yelp
We ate Little Chef Asian and would highly recommend it! My husband and I walked up indecisive on what we were going to share. Kept going between rice and noodles and he gave us the option of both with no extra charge. He was attentive and very kind! Didn't catch his name but trust we will be going again when we come to town the end of this week! We are half noodles and rice, Bourbon chicken and fried chicken and it was superb! Chicken was nice and tender and fresh. Would definitely recommend!!

Yelp
12/26/19 Well the last time I was here, it was about 4 days till Christmas and the place was pretty crowded. This is all fin and dandy, but the mall isn't as big as I originally thought. We slowly walked around the mall a found what we needed. I saw the Kokke smoothie place, but wanted no part of that. The nasty tasted of a drink I ordered from them pops back into my mind. The bathrooms are normally clean, but on this day, someone for the men's bathroom will certainly have their hands full. Walking into the bathroom, I saw paper towels on the floor and the atmosphere/oxygen one breaths now had the scent of mixed shit from different buttholes . A good amount of it probably had to do with the steaming pile of feces in the urinal. Someone really had to go and all the bathroom stalls were in use. The desperation and the bathroom dance was overwhelming. Apparently the bathroom stalls to which my eyes did not see were just as bad. I heard a guy say something in disgust as he went into one of the stalls. After peeing and washing my hands, I got the hell out of there. I can only hold my breath for so long and breathing through ones mouth is inadvisable. If you don't understand why, think about what your tastebuds will be inhaling. /tasting. I come to find out later on that the line for the women's bathroom and the unpleasant odors were just as bad. Shit certainly happens in these two places. If I had taken a picture of the shit filled urinal, it would be my luck for the picture to become the main photo for the town center. It has happened before. Still overall, the mall is nice, but I guess I am just a little bored of this mall. Oh, the parking was crowded, but we found parking our car easy if you don't mind doing a little walking.

Chandler D.

Yelp
Definitely one of my go to places to shop as I live nearby. They are adhering to social distancing as stores are limiting capacity inside each of them and also have placed floor stickers to adhere to 6 feet apart to those waiting their turn to go inside their stores. It has good restaurants Yard House, Maggianos, etc. It also has stores like American Eagle, Aerie, H&M, Hollister, Abercrombie Kids, Bath and Body Works and many more!

H K.

Yelp
I like the newness of the mall exciting and the ease of finding parking refreshing. From frontier drive it is easiest to pull into the mall garage. Walk out and you're on the top level by the cinema. The prettiest entrance is however from the side closest to Maggiano. See photo. Stairs lead u to a Starbucks downstairs. Across and above the stairs you can look across and see Macy's. The lighting is pleasing. Over the coming weeks I will explore more of this mall.

Ashlee A.

Yelp
Such a beautiful, big mall! I remember when no one wanted to visit here, but not it is definitely Italy the hot spot as you get closer to the city. Love how everything is connected with entrance to the mall or nearby so there's not that long of a walk. Parking is tight, but it wasn't too hard for ya to find a spot near one of the entrances by Maggianos. They have replaced some stores that I like to shop at, like TopShop, but they do have a pretty good variety of places for all who they serve.

Kimberly J.

Yelp
My first time coming to this mall and it was definitely worth the drive. We came with the intention of just having dinner at Yard House. We don't have any Yard House restaurants in MD so we ventured out to VA to try it out after our visit from Spa World. My boyfriend and I decided to check out the mall before dinner. Finding parking wasn't too bad and that's probably because it was Sunday night and 2 hours from closing. The mall have tons of stores that we both love. We got sucked into the Five Below. This was my first time seeing a Five Below inside of a mall. They're we're also a good amount of food options in the food court and outside of the mall. I liked he layout of the mall because it loops around and it isn't massive. I find myself getting lost in huge malls. Yes, clearly I need adult supervision in malls lol. I think Springfield Mall may be a mall we can throw into our shopping mall rotation for the next year.

Trish G.

Yelp
I go to this mall quite often, because of how close it is To me. The big downfall with this mall is the lack of stores. They do have a decent amount of options but there are still A lot of spaces not filled which leaves a lot to be Desired. They also have started putting some off brands stores in the mall, probably to fill the retail space, but these off brand stores are not impressive at all. I'd prefer to drive 20 more minutes north and go to. Mall with much more options, with more stores and a much bigger food court.

Rumit P.

Yelp
An excellent shopping center, completely revitalized a few years ago, with clean floors, modern design, eye-catching furniture and chandeliers, sleek architecture, and happening restaurants, stores, and entertainment, including Dave and Busters, Chuy's, Maggiano's, Regal Cinemas, &Pizza, Nando's Peri Peri, Yard House, and many more. The mall is well connected, there are helpful signs everywhere to get around without getting lost, bright lights and wide hallways, giant lower-level play area for kids, and plenty of places to sit and people-watch. Of course as with any mall there are the gaggles of teenagers with faces buried in their cell phones, obnoxious kiosk vendors looking to score a quick sale by flattering you on your hair or nails or skin, and the occasional train conductor zipping by with hysterically cackling kids in tow and chattering parents snapping photos of their amused tots. If I lived in the area, I would visit much more often!

Beth G.

Yelp
When Landmark Mall (RIP) first closed down, I was scared Springfield Town Center would face the same fate and that I would lose one of the malls that marked my childhood. Ever since it was renovated, Springfield Town Center has been my favorite mall out of all the other ones I've seen in the DMV (Fair Oaks, Dulles, Tyson's, Pentagon Row, Manassas, and Potomac Mills). STC is the kind of mall you go to when you're trying to get your shopping done, want to stay within 30 minutes from the big cities in the DMV (DC, Falls Church, Bethesda, Alexandria, Silver Spring, Springfield, Annandale, Rockville, Arlington), and want to grab something to eat before you leave. What I love about STC the most is that it's not as packed as Tyson's (and you probably won't end up awkwardly bumping into all your coworkers and old classmates like you might at Tyson's), and STC has all the clothing stores that I actually shop at (unlike Pentagon Row, which only has Forever 21, Macy's, and a bunch of random designer stores), a large and diverse food court selection, as well as other novelties I don't always see at malls, like a 90s-themed record/video game store, Dave & Busters, and Target. STC also upholds social distancing and COVID-19 rules, so there's that going for it too.

Sibel C.

Yelp
I never saw the mall before the renovations but the mall is so nice and welcoming! The mall reopened on October 17, 2014 and I went after work with my neighbor and we decided to watch the movie Gone Girl at the Regal theater. We bought the tickets and I loved the fact that we could pick our own seats! And because of the grand opening, we also received free drinks and popcorn! The theater is so nice with automatic leather reclining seats! Talk about watching the movies in comfort! I was so excited that Dave & Busters is also located here since the other locations (at that time) were not close. It always loved D&B because you can dine in and play games and have a great time and it is for all ages! I have been to the Yard House restaurants multiple times and their food is so good! I love the ambiance and their service as well! What I also love about this mall is that they have special events. The last event I went to, I got a gift card! I was recently in Finish Line because I needed new workout shoes and everyone in the store was so nice ad friendly! Special shout out to Shekera Thomas for her knowledge and for taking care of me, I really appreciated it! I def recommend this mall!

Nomin D.

Yelp
This is a nice new addition to the area. I haven't been to this mall for years simply because the declined business in the mall and choices. Now that it is newly opened with good store and choices I've been back again from Maryland. I like that it has top store options that people actually go in rather than some random stores. when the entire mall opens, I think it'll become more decent as more restaurants will open up to provide more dining options. I like that H&M and forever 21 has its own elevator inside the store for easier stroller access without going to the mall to transition floors. Also, since it's only 2 floors elevators are efficient in the mall.

Dave U.

Yelp
This shopping center is one of the local places near our home. We had to get some last minute gifts on an early Sunday morning. The main anchor stores opened at 8:00AM. After shopping at the big stores, we wandered into the mall and the smaller shops were already open. We were told that during the week of Christmas, they would stay open until 11:00pm. The mall itself is very clean. They have a new seating area near the Dick's and Macy's corridor. The seating area has charge stations. It's very convenient for those of us who like to wait for our spouses while they linger into the small stores. One thing lacking in this mall is a decent food court. There are a few eateries but nothing compared to Tyson's or Fair Oaks. Parking can get dicey because some of the structures often fill up fast on a busy weekend. Finally, when we come to eat at the new restaurants, the outdoor parking is always a mess. It's impossible to try and park during a rush dining hour.

Ryan D.

Yelp
Before the recession of 2008, this used to be an awesome mall with 2 movie theaters, 2 arcades, and 3 food courts. Now it has become Night of the Living Dead with people wandering aimlessly past closed stores. I heard a little kid run past me screaming "Brrrrraaaaaiiiiiinnnnssss!!!" One section of the movie theaters have been torn down, the arcades haves vanished, and the food courts have been converted into graveyards where people bury their dead. I don't know what happened, but this mall shrank a lot and is smaller than it used to be. When they renovated it they seemed to have cut a huge chunk out where one of the food courts used to be. That food court is nonexistent now. It was located right by Macy's next to the 2nd movie theater location. Damn, I feel like a historian now for telling this story! I'm giving 1 extra star for the nostalgic factor from my memories when I was younger, but they really need to shut this place down. It's too depressing to shop at and there's absolutely no life in here. There's a Yardhouse, Dave & Busters, Maggiano's, and some other forgettable chain restaurant. The food choices are really abysmal here. If you don't live within 15 miles of this mall, don't bother coming here. Go to Pentagon City mall or Potomac Mills instead.

Joe B.

Yelp
Plently of known stores. The food court is nice and has many options. Highly Recommended!

Carolyn L.

Yelp
We were in Springfield Center on 10 Dec 2019 looking for PJ's for our grandchildren. We looked and looked and finally saw a sales lady and she told us we're to go. We went and I have never seen such a mess. Things looked like they wee thrown in the alcove. Find no boys of or girls pj's. No Star Wars pj for a 2T either. No wonder people are shopping on line. I went home and pulled everything I wanted on line. Now whose fault is this situation. I always thought Macy's was better than this!! A faithful shopper. Please do better!

Ana P.

Yelp
Gorgeous high ceilings, huge skylights, and a glass elevator? I am so excited to be back here! I mean I was excited as soon as I pulled in to the parking lot. For old times' sake, I went to the mall with my parents and BP tagged along. We entered through the Macy's entrance and all that looked the same, but one we exited Macy's my jaw literally dropped. I thought I was at Tyson's or Montgomery Mall, but nope, I was at Springfield Mall! I can't wait for all the renovations to be done so this place will have everything!!! I also like how it is organized... All the kids clothing on the lower level and all the women's clothing on the upper level. I am also excited that there is a TWO LEVEL H&M here! The staff were also very nice opening weekend. There were also officers on duty. I can't wait to eat at the Maggiano's and catch a movie at the Regal 12! Long live the Springfield Town Center! Yelp
A VERY nice mall that was recently renovated. Since it is large, there a wide selection of stores. The mall is clean and there are a number of large department stores and restaurants on the perimeter. It is clean and well lite. The only reason I am deducting one star is for parking. The parking lot seems small and is always full, even during off hours. The parking lanes and access roads are also narrow and sometimes this is the biggest pain about going to this mall. In addition to the restaurants, the mall has a small food court in the middle with fast food type selections. Generally, a very nice mall.

Yelp
Used to go to this mall a lot, I used to work right next to it for 6 years. And I must say that a lot changed. It is still not the best mall, but I think that they slowly starting to improve. I guess the fact that many shopping centers in the east coast are showing less sales than they used to probably make some start investing and improving. I see many new brands names, and I see that they realize that people can drive 15-20 minutes and find other malls that might even be better. But let's leave that for now, they are improving. One thing that stay the same: Finding a decent parking spot. This is something that didn't change and if you get here on one of the busier days, get ready to drive around and walk a bit from the parking spot.

Yelp
Wow, Springfield Mall/Town Center got a whole lot lively and fresh after years of being dead. I was hearing about Springfield Mall shutting down and making a renovation for years and now it looks fantastic. However, I can't find myself going to Springfield mall since I shop online or go to Tysons corner. There is a lot of open space here. I want to go check out the D&B here.

Yelp
We went here to look for a ring for our wedding. The first thing you'll see when you enter the main entrance of the mall is their center lobby with a big chandelier. The shops are easy to locate.

Yelp
The mall has been improved drastically since the 1990's. Inside it's nice, new, and much more modern. The shops are limited in selection. I see teenagers bustling around all the time here, and why? Because they only have a very few selection of adult stores to choose from! Yes, there's the beloved Macy's, which still has awful customer-service. Target is a nice addition and is nice for quick errands. They don't have a GAP, and Jcrew recently shut down because nobody was actually shopping there. I feel like it's still a hangout spot, more than a serious shopping mall. The movie theater is a nice addition, but again, that gives it another hangout feel to the mall. Nordstrom rack is a great addition, and brings it up to par a tad bit with Tysons. Off Saks, is another high-end addition, but it's always empty and nobody really even shops in there. The stores in here were not very well thought through, and they still have some small no-name shops in here, which makes the mall on the lower-end as well. There's a huge selection of restaurants now, which is probably the only reason I even come here. Parking is still a pain on the weekends. They need more garages or something. It has so much potential, but it's still a mediocre mall compared to the powerhouse Tysons Corner mall! Dave and Buster's is fun, but really lacking in service and quality. This mall could've have been so much better.

Yelp
The recent renovation of "Springfield Mall" - now known as Springfield Town Center is a major upgrade. The interior reflects a chic look with modern lighting and a spacious design. This is the hottest spot in Springfield now to hang out, shop, grab a bite, or dine out. It's still in the process of adding more stores inside so it's not at full capacity, that's why it's not rated 5 stars. Inside the mall you will find many popular stores such as H&M, American Eagle, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, Target...and many other top names. Food Court consists of about 6 places to grab a bite- Chipotle, Grill Kebab, Panda Express,Thai place, Chinese, & more opening soon. On the outside of one side of the Mall you will find many fancy restaurants and a bar which is great for hanging out on Friday nights or weekends.

Yelp
They desperately needed something like this in the area and STC delivered - almost. There are still empty storefronts which makes it a bit depressing so they need to get on that. They opened a D&B here which is great as the one in White Flint closed. This is really going to be a great place in the Springfield area if they can work harder to get better and more stores (can we get an Urban Outfitters, Uniqlo, Anthropology, Nike, or something of the like?). Food court can also use some work. Bring more fun places!

Yelp
The Town Center is a definite improvement over the old Mall. It is trying to be upscale relative to the old Mall. For the most part, the stores are typical mall stores. Most of the retail stores can be easily found at other locations in the area. The theater and the restaurants are refreshing. It will be interesting to see if the Town Center can retain its class into the future.

Yelp
This isn't an open air town center so it's really an indoor mall with a new name, not that an outdoor mall is really ideal when it's cold here (by Floridian standards) half the year. I'm not a big fan of shopping but this place isn't bad. It's newly renovated and has some interesting though mostly chain restaurants. I've heard good things about Chuys and the BBQ place and I'm a fan of Yardhouse when I've visited in other cities. They have a decent number of stores and a movie theatre but still have some open spaces to fill. The parking lot was packed out on a weekend by late morning but the place inside wasn't nearly as much of a zoo as Tysons. I try to avoid shopping like the plague but this place is a less crowded option if you don't feeling like fighting the masses at Tysons.

Yelp
I enjoyed the recliner seats and the great movies but the food service is really bad. The worker who was taking my order was talking to his co-worker while he was taking my order. The food was not good at all, the chicken tasted old and the fries were stale. It was Definitlely NOT worth the "expensive movie food."

Yelp
I'm so glad they finally decided to renovate this mall. The formerly known Springfield Mall died years ago and the new and beautiful Springfield Town Center is a must for a visit! I love the chic interior and exterior. The new and improved restaurants and who doesn't LOVE to walk into a mall where you're greeted by Michael Kors? :-P I'm a little disappointed that the Macy's wasn't part of the renovation however, their new Movie Theater is AMAZING! Be sure to check it out!
