Yes, the hype is real. The Neapolitan pizza is that good. The ingredients are fresh, and the dough is light and fluffy. Service is also very nice. I'll bring my guests next time here.

Absolutely love this place! The pizza is always fresh, loaded with flavor, and made with real care. You can tell they use quality ingredients — the crust is perfectly crispy, and the sauce tastes homemade. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere feels cozy and welcoming. It’s become my go-to spot whenever I’m craving something delicious. Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area!

Google
Quality Wood Fired Pizza! Stopped in for lunch while out walking the town and ordered 2 Margarita Pizza. Good pizza. The crust is fresh, both crispy on the outside and a little bit chewy on the inside. The sauce tasted mostly of tomato, no garlic or onion flavors. The cheese was very good. Overall, good pizza. Great service, nice group of guys.

Everything excellent and yummy , the best pizza around ❤️

Google
Spuntino’s is as close to Neapolitan pizza as it gets in US. Having been to Amalfi coast twice, this pizza really can rival even the best. Delicious, fresh, the crust is just amazing. The price to quality ration is great. The owner is lovely. Friendly staff. We live 25 min away, and it’s worth the drive at least twice a month.

Google
The margherita pizza was delicious - it was cooked to perfection. The crust was not soggy from the fresh mozzarella cheese, but rather, it was soft and chewy! Additionally, the fresh basil used on the pizza added to the flavorful meal, in appearance and in taste. The location of the restaurant, the Main Street Marketplace, is usually bustling with folks. However, right now the atmosphere is much quieter due to business changes within the Marketplace. There are lovely dining spaces throughout the marketplace where you may enjoy your meal. The staff are incredibly friendly, which makes for an excellent dining experience. The staff are also very accommodating towards vegetarians and those with dietary restrictions. Thank you Spuntinos!!

Google
The pizzas here are simply phenomenal. As soon as you walk into the marketplace you are hit with the aroma of the wood-fired oven. The pizza itself was outstanding - thin, crispy, and perfectly balanced, without being overloaded. The extra burrata cheese was the perfect touch, truly out of this world. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic pizza experience!

Google
I booked my grandmas 70th at Spuntinos and I would highly recommend to everyone! I don’t know how there could be any bad reviews here since I have nothing negative about my experience. The service was exceptional. Donna is an amazing catering manager and is honestly the best I’ve ever seen! She was very experienced, organized, kind, and helpful. The food, customer service, and experience was perfect. They accommodated all of our requests and all guests were still raving about the food, drinks, and desserts. We orders chicken parm, steak vesuvio, and shrimp oregnata with sides of garlic bread. It’s the perfect sized room for any event with a large parking lot and the price was also very reasonable with a large variety in the menu for kids/adults. The room offered the perfect time frame for set up and event time. The room was surprisingly a very large space for a restaurant brunch and was private.

Yelp
I'm adjusting my top 5 pizza's ever because of my lunch this afternoon. 1-Spuntino , Doylestown Pa 2-Pizza Bianco, Phoenix AZ 3-Vito's , Pennington NJ 4- Gino Sorbillo, Milan Italy 5- Lucali, Brooklyn, Ny When you walk into a wood fired pizza shop,, the owner greets you, takes your money, makes your pie, talks to ya while the pie is cooking,, about family, the beach, dough fermentation, and the weather. Slices it up , in the box. Gives a pound. The owner was put on this earth to do two things. Be a dad, and make people smile w/ his culinary art. Rob is a master at both.

Yelp
The reason we first came here was because we saw it was in the running for the best pizza in Bucks... it is... I also typed in "Best Caesar Salad" near Doylestown and this was #1, by a LOT...there's a reason for it. Get a pizza and salad...you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Great pizza authentic margarita style with quality ingredients , I highly recommend this place when you're in the area excellent !

Yelp
Probably the best pizza I've had for a while. Great crust and flavor. Fast and polite service. Nice market venue with the option for a hall table or a more private dining room further down. Would definitely go again.

Yelp
Do you want a taste of Rome? Go to Spuntino wood-fired pizzeria for Neapolitan pizza. It never disappoints. We started with a fresh salad with their delicious house vinegarette. Next, we had two pizzas--one with buffalo mozzarella and the other with roasted eggplant. All pizzas are personal size. They were outstanding. You won't find a thinner undercarriage. The service was great. The informal seating area is sufficient. This is a hidden gem.

Yelp
Flavors of these pizzas were astounding! Super vibrant tomato sauces and fresh ingredients. I'm not sure if it is how this pizza is supposed to be, but the bottom was a little soggy. That's the only reason I took off a star. Otherwise, service was good and I enjoyed the ambiance of the little seating area in the back. Perfect causal yet upscale pizza place.

Yelp
Absolutely DELICIOUS pizza & at such a good price! All 3 pizzas were incredible & the Caesar salad was really well-done too! We stopped in for a quick lunch & we're easily able to be in & out in less than an hour. It's located inside a small shopping area with stores & other restaurants. You need to use street parking but I found a spot in no time. Paying is simple & convenient through the ParkMobile app! I will be looking for an excuse to be out near Doylestown, PA just to have this again!

Yelp
Consistently outstanding Neapolitan style pizza. Note, however, that this is NOT a taste of Rome, rather a taste of Naples, hence the name of the style. Rome style pizza is a thinner, drier, crispier crust that is cooked for a longer time and generally has toppings right to the edge. If Rome style pizza (or Chicago or Detroit or New Jersey etc) is what you're seeking, look elsewhere. Or, try Spuntino and leave with a new favorite pizza style and joint. HTH

Yelp
I visited Spuntinos on a whim after seeing it on my TikTok feed, which claimed its pizza rivaled authentic Italian fare. This place truly delivers--the pizza is on another level. Both wood-fired pizzas we ordered were so delicious, featuring fresh ingredients like homemade San Marzano tomato sauce, bufala mozzarella, and basil. It's the perfect spot to bring friends, family, or partners visiting the area--so impressive that I felt proud to showcase it as a highlight of my town. I plan to keep coming back for years to come.

Yelp
We've been coming here for eight years and it always has been consistent super friendly staff and phenomenal food on this trip. We ordered the fraud of pizza and its mushrooms.
google avatar

Nicole K.

Yelp
Delicious Italian pizza! Our go to order is rucola and cesare salads and ronzio pizza! Their margherita pizza is great too. The service is always consistent and always a place to sit and eat. You can also take it to go and eat outside if the weather is nice.

Diane T.

Yelp
Great pizza! Wonderful service and a fun indoor mall with other shops and a nice dining area. Go!

Yelp
We hosted a few guests for the afternoon and decided to order pizza for everyone. I chose Spuntino Wood Fired Pizza based on their positive Yelp reviews. While everyone was eager to eat, we ended up waiting well over an hour for the delivery. Our guests became restless and had to leave before the pizza arrived. When the three pizzas finally delivered, they were stone cold, which was very disappointing. We decided to reheat the pizzas in the oven, and fortunately, they turned out to be quite good. Despite this, I wouldn't order delivery from Spuntino again due to the long wait time and the cold pizza. It wasn't worth the roughly fifty dollars we spent. It pains me to leave a negative review for any business, but I hope this feedback helps Spuntino improve their delivery process.

Yelp
First I need to address a certain one star review who was horrified at the "sogginess" of the pizza claiming us 5 star reviewers as being on drugs. HAVE you never been to Naples, Italy???? This is classic Napolitiano pizza. Yes the center is soggy, as it should be. Staff here is friendly, they will find you a table inside the halls of this hidden food outlet. The dough is soft and fluffy, sauce is spot on and the pepperoni or soppresseta takes it up a notch. This is not your typical American style pizza so pop open a sugar laden Pellegrino and treat yourself (and the pies are in expensive)!

Bill B.

Yelp
I never write reviews. This pizza was the worst ever. The crust was mush!Supposed to be spicy-not!Almost tasteless. I had stopped going several years ago because I thought it was mostly out side edge and not enough good stuff. Now the edge has shrunk and the resulting pizza was a disaster.

Yelp
This place is a GEM in the heart of Doylestown. We were venturing around Bucks County and stumbled into Spuntino's because of the wonderful reviews. This place didn't cease to amaze me with every bite I took until I was uncomfortably full. With an Italian wood fire pizza over continuously burning in the corner, every aspect of Spuntino's shines with authenticity. They fly their Buffalo mozzarella in from Naples, the prosciutto and other italian meats are super high quality, and every detail is perfected with love and dedication from the owner. I'm not a huge pizza crust guy, but I could not but down the ends of each slice. The dough was chewy, so perfectly cooked and crispy at the same time. The toppings complimented the dough to the max. I wish I lived closer to Doylestown, as I would be coming here daily for lunch. I fantasize about the next time I get my hands on Spuntino's pizza. One of, if not the best pizzas I've had here on American soil. Thank you for bringing a piece of Italy with you to this lovely town. Cheers!

Yelp
As a Connoisseur of Neapolitan pizza, I have a trained eye for the good stuff(yes, I'm fancy like that). Thus Yelp images has guided me to Spuntino of Philly, by way of Doyleston. I walk into this rustic hall...a small counter, a wood fire oven next to a few ingredients sitting on the table, and a hidden cash register. This is as minimalist as it comes....surely the product can't be that good. Wrong! My friends, what comes out of that oven....magic. The dough is absolutely everything! Light and airly, with all the little leopard spots that create a unique and flavorful crust only found on Neapolitan pizza. Look, there's pizza and then there's Neapolitan pizza. The one that started it all is still king. Successfully making one of these is an art form, one not easily mastered. Little known fact: in Italy it is illegal to call your pizza Neapolitan unless it meets the standards as approved by the Neapolitan pizza association in Naples. It's that's serious. Spuntino makes a product that would make the association proud....and your belly? Ecstatic! Easily Top 3 Neapolitan pizza's I've had.

Yelp
Heard about this place online It did not disappoint. Personal-sized and as fresh as could be It couldn't be beat for a wandering pair with an artful taste Will come back again and again Even Lizzy's new friend enjoyed our repast

Yelp
As a true pizza aficionado of pizza I am absolutely horrified by the positive reviews of this place ! Clearly there is a drug problem in Doylestown because if anyone thought this crap was pizza and edible they are very very sadly wrong! Ordered three pizzas each one soggier and more disgusting than the other! Loved that they sell literally bottled water which is a plastic bottle of deer park for $2.00. Not impressed for $50.00? Will never be back ever I again ! They pizza gods should close this place and someone like Dave Portnoy should give it the zero it deserves for a rating. Had left overs didn't even want to take it home it was truly that disgusting !
google avatar

Melinda K.

Yelp
Delicious wood fired pizza. Personal pies that are good to share if looking for a quick bite. Order at the counter as soon as you walk in and dine inside, back left. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try!
google avatar

Josue M.

Yelp
Had the ronzio, amazing pizza. Every ingredient is present and makes for a multidimensional flavor experience. I'm not saying it'll blow your socks off but you'll enjoy every bite and it'll leave you wanting to order another.
google avatar

Heather L.

Yelp
Amazing wood fired pizza. Small counter in the front (there are other food places in the market as well) where you order and they have a section in the back with seating. There happened to be table service while I was there but I've heard that's a nights and weekends thing? I ordered the Regina pizza, perfect size for one person... probably could've ordered another pie and ate half that too. Great sauce, cooked perfectly, friendly staff. Would def come back!
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
Warm and low-key service, in a tin-roof-tile decorated room reminiscent of old Little Italy. The pizza comes out nearly as quickly as you utter the order, because the beautiful pizza oven cooks each pie in between 60 and 90 seconds. It's delicious. Pure and simple with top quality ingredients.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
Another killer pie at Spuntino! Rob's place in excellent day in and day out. I've had many other imitations from coast to coast (sorry Rob) but this place is the REAL DEAL.

MIke H.

Yelp
Pizza is excellent here. You cannot go wrong. The owner rushed a pizza for us (world record fast), so we could catch a movie. We were lucky to catch them during a break in the action but his over the top great service was super impressive Will be back, but will certainly give more time ! Thank you!
google avatar

J P.

Yelp
Pizza was great. Very tasty. More an "easy folding" slice than a crispy slice -- but delicious.
google avatar

Jennifer R.

Yelp
I had been eyeing up Spuntino for a while, so when I was asked where I wanted to eat for my birthday, I knew exactly where to go. The pizza was freshly made and had that classic wood-fired taste. I did knock down one star because the crust in the middle was thin and watery, however, it may have been a one-off.
google avatar

H D P.

Yelp
Yum! Quick, friendly, authentic, delicious..! Walk up to the counter and then sit at a table in the dining room or to wait. Cut olive oil shop in there too. I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Great pizza. Well done the way pizza is supposed to be. I have to admit as a NYer I'm never really a big fan of the crust (I know I know a sin for an original NYer) but I really love the crust here. I wanted the crudo pizza but sadly they were out of the prosciutto, so did the formaggi and it was delicious. This was our second time visiting and we had our NY family come for a visit. Wanted to take a stroll around Doylestown and decided on pizza. Our NY Family loved it. Couldn't stop saying how delicious it was. Will definitely be back.

Michael S.

Yelp
If you're looking for authentic wood fired Neapolitan style pizza you won't find a better place than Spuntino. They have a convenient little sit down dining area and wait staff that is friendly and quick.

Yelp
We went here last weekend as part of Pizzadelphia. It was so yummy and a definite "we'll be back!" The pizzas are personal size so my husband and I each got our own. It definitely was plenty and we probably could've shared for a lunch size meal. I ordered the Arrosto pizza and my husband ordered Pepperoni. We both agreed they were great options and that we'd get again when we return. The crust was so good and a true brick oven type pizza. The service was great also. We placed our order before driving there and it was ready to go when we arrived. The gentleman working was professional and welcoming!

Jazmine F.

Yelp
This little pizzeria is inside a bazaar of other restaurants, event spaces, bar, furniture store, cupcake store, tables. It is quite interesting but it somehow works. The pizza is good pizza, I won't say consistent so I took a star for that. Most of the time it is good pizza other times it lacks. It might be soggy or lacking flavor. So if the consistency was there they'd be 5 stars. Definitely worth stopping in when looking to get some lunch in the area.

Yelp
Second tIme at Spuntino's to give this establishment another try, and it left much to be desired. I wanted this relationship to work - but unfortunately it wasn't in the cards for us. Their pizzas are 'Napoletana Style' which is known to be quick/fast cook time but unfortunately service took FOREVER (and this was the case both times I visited). I would stick with their simple pizzas like the Marg + Regina. Some of their combos just simply aren't executed well. We ordered the Ronzio and the contents of the pie sounded like a perfect marriage but just didn't hit the mark. The Soppressata was on the strong / gamier side and then topped with a honey drizzle which together made for a disaster of a flavor combination. Pizza is sacred in my family - pizza tastings at multiple establishments in one weekend is the norm. There are a handful I trust in PA, but some unfortunately don't compare to NJ / NY pizza. We tried, we came, but we didn't conquer. There's always next weekend!

Yelp
Amazing pizzas. Great service. BYOB! The red and white pizzas. The salads. Yum. High quality ingredients. Italian style. Always top notch. Without a doubt the best pizza in Doylestown and In Bucks County!

Yelp
The most amazing salmon salad. A lemon vinaigrette with capers Parm super crisp spring mix and salmon. So GOOD! I look forward to returning again.

Yelp
If you want real pizza but can't afford flight to Italy this place is the perfect solution. Love this place ! Run don't walk to grab a slice of Italy !

Pammie P.

Yelp
Highly overrated for its pizza. The outer crust is nicely charred but the heart of the slice ( undercarriage) is mushy and falls apart. In fact, the middle crust is practically raw. Nope.
google avatar

Jennifer E.

Yelp
Excellent pizza! Hard to decide on what to get so order one of each! They aren't that big so you will be able to try them all!!
google avatar

Natalie S.

Yelp
I ordered a margarita pizza and it wasn't bad but there's definitely way better wood fired pizzas in the city. The location in Doylestown is located inside a "mini" mall. The kitchen was in a separate location than the dining area. The dining area seemed more like a fast casual place rather than a cozy byob place. The pizzas are personal 10" pizzas cut into 4 slices but they're enough for 2 people if you're not that hungry. The margarita pizza was so thin and barely had any red sauce on it. The service is meh but again, this is more of a fast causal place. I would try the location in Philly but I wouldn't go back to Doylestown.

Yelp
Ive been to spuntino many times and i always forget to write the review because I'm just always lost in the flavor that it covers my mouth with. All of their pizzas are delicious; not really a wrong choice to pick from their menu. Always ask for the spicy peppers on the side! They have this hot oil/pepper thing (never can remember the name....) that you put a dab on your pizza and it ramps up the flavor further as well as provide with a spicy kick which I'm always in the mood for. I usually never eat the crust cause it's too much bread for me but, this place being nice and thin, i always finish the crust. I love the thin slice theme The seating can get a little confusing. If you're alone or with a party of two, you can sit right in front of the kitchen and watch them make the pizza and eat at the counter. For a group for 3+, i would recommend going towards the back where they do have extended sitting. The only thing i get confused is identity of the joint... is it a self serve or serviced based? They backside has all the instruments to be a restaurant like place but, the waitress usually takes the order and drops off the food and that's it. I usually get the water for myself cause they give the bottle initially but, hard to see them after (especially in the busy times). Aside from the identity crisis, one thing they don't mess up is the pizza. Go try if you're in the area!

Yelp
Wonderful Naples style pizza at fair prices. Authentic and casual seating. Will be back!

Yelp
Best especially for those who love thin crust, best tomatoes & luscious flavor of a wood oven ..

Yelp
This place has the most awesome wood fired pizza! Loads of choices. Crust and ingredients are fresh and delicious. Friendly, quick service.

Yelp
Spuntino was our first stop for a meal upon arrival in Bucks County on Friday. The pizzeria is a walk-up counter inside of a building with several different food concepts. Towards the back of the building is a private room where Spuntino has table service on nights and weekends. My husband and I met the owner, Robert, while we were ordering and he kindly showed us to the seating area and served us himself, which was above and beyond in terms of service. We started with a caesar salad which was great, then moved on to a special pie of the day with soppressata and honey, plus the capricciossa, with ham, artichokes, mushrooms and olives. I loved the thin, chewy crust and san marzano sauce; it was a toss up which pie I liked better because they were both great. I am looking forward to visiting their Northern Liberties location for more delicious 'za ASAP!

Yelp
It's taken me 3 years to find a good pizza joint in the Philly area. This is it. Absolutely fantastic!

Yelp
Spuntino is a phenomenal place to eat neapolitan pizza. I came here for dinner. The ambiance was very casual. The service was standard. The pizza was delicious and high quality. The pizza dough had a nice chew to it that I really liked. I recommend the margherita and funghi pizzas.

Yelp
Very good food. I thoroughly enjoyed eating at this place and I hope to eat this heavenly pizza again

Yelp
Spuntino on National Pizza Day was the best part of my weekend. With their pizzas being as good as they were, a Spuntino Pizza any day would make for a great day. This place is a local legend and rightfully so. Love when you can partake in some live action Za making by the owner himself while sitting at the cozy counter. Highly recommend sitting here even in winter with the chill of the ever opening of the front door. We went for the Regina (red sauce, basil, buffalo mozz, pecorino), and the Carbonara (white pie, pancetta, caramelized onions, fresh mozz, pecorino, egg). Both, were fantastic. That chewy wood fired charred crust was perfection. But the caramelized onions on the Carbonara left a magical imprint in my mind. Highly suggest partaking in the BYO. A glass of Vino should would have been divine with the pies. A wonderful pizza experience. Would Spuntino again and again.

Yelp
We don't get to eat here often because its far from where we live. However, I picked up a few pizzas to go yesterday, and had my "starving" 11 year old son with me. His comments, while eating at least one piece from each pie in the car were, in order: "Don't leave me alone with these boxes." "Out of 10, this is an 11...maybe 12..." "The crust tastes like a perfectly burnt marshmallow, but better. Godly." "If i was left alone in there they would have to shut down because there would be no pizza left to sell." Safe to say the kid knows good food!
