Delicious pizza and is a nice change in type of pizza from what is around here. Even though it is a deeper pizza, they aren’t extremely heavy or greasy which I like. The dough is light and tastes fresh. I rotate between here and Rocco’s as they are my two favorites in the area and give you a nice variety. There are a lot of interesting flavors which I like. The Fig & Pig is hands down my favorite out of the 4 types I’ve tried so far but I have enjoyed them all. The fig adds a unique flavor and a nice balance of sweet and savory. I also would recommend Truffle Mushroom, BBQ Brisket and BBQ Chicken Bacon. I did feel the BBQ Brisket could have had a few more toppings, and the chicken was maybe a little dry on the BBQ chicken but still very good. The one menu item I personally would caution against is the wings as they were quite a letdown for me. I love hot honey but the Hot Honey wings were very plain and all the honey just pooled at the bottom of the container and didn’t stick to the wings. The Jamaican jerk wings were slightly better but the sauce tasted like it was from a bottle. The quality of the bone-in wings themself were also lacking. Note: I would also really recommend signing up for their rewards as they might be the most generous rewards for a restaurant I’ve seen (10% back every purchase). It also helps that you order locally online through their website instead of through other online ordering platforms.

Tried Square Mfg for the first time. Ordered three small pizzas online. Ordering process was straight forward. Ordered a meat sweat, Buffalo chicken and veggie. My review is primarily based on the meat sweat. I thought it was okay. Felt like it could have been baked a little longer. Sauce was good, had some tang. Laced edges along the pan could have been a little better. I'll give it another shot when I'm in the area. Takeout only.

My partner and I pick up pizza from here often when we’re too lazy to cook dinner or when we just want to have a cozy night in. Their pizza is excellent, although I recommend asking for it “well done” if you don’t like a doughy pizza. I absolutely love their crust and their sauce. Personally, I prefer their simpler pizzas (cheese or cheese with pineapple are my go to orders), but their specialty pizzas are good, too. The pizzas are a little sweet, but the sauce does an excellent job balancing everything out. The staff are friendly and polite. Like others have mentioned, there is no seating inside and this is a take out only place!

Google
Great pizza, something different. Looks heavy but it's definitely not. Nice and crispy on the outside, light fluffy and chewy on the inside. Delicious sauce, right amount of cheese. The box is charming too. Highly recommend.

Google
First time. Stopped in as we were driving past after seeing reviews. So glad we did! Great margarita pizza, especially the sauce. Brisket was very good too. Will definitely be back to try more!

Google
Something different! This pizza is filling, your gonna love every bite but feel full after two slices. Can’t believe this place doesn’t have so many other locations, the marketing & general feel of the place feels like they have been around for many many years. Props to whoever does the marketing here. The pizza is delicious, great taste, fresh broccoli on ours, super friendly staff. Location could be better, on a one way stretch of route 9. But worth it. Will definitely be back.

Google
I'm a huge fan of Detroit-style pan pizza, and Square absolutely hits the spot. Thick, chewy, slices where every bite is a wonderful journey through layers of flavor and texture. One note to those who order here though: be mindful to let the crust be the star with what you order. One of the styles I've ordered from here is the Cacciatore, and while the ingredients and the package were still tasty overall, I'm sad to say the sheer amount of items soaked into the crusy so thoroughly that it got a bit more soggy than I would like. Also, the Buffalo Chicken pizza is good but just a tiiiiiny bit heavy on the bleu cheese. It ended up overriding the other flavors a bit much. I would recommend asking that they go light on the bleu cheese with this one. I like the heat to be front and center on a buffalo chicken item. That's just my two cents. Still overall, very tasty, and a must try if you like pan style pizza.

Google
The place is consistently great, every time I've been back, the staff are friendly, attentive and ready to serve. The pizzas are heavenly. So much so that we drive from Newton to pick them up. Only thing I want is for them to open up another place closer.

Yelp
Got the bbq brisket pizza. It was delicious. Lots of bbq sauce, tender brisket. Pizza came out really fast-- we got there and then ordered. There was one table with a few stools to sit and eat but no seating otherwise. It's more of a grab and go place. Would definitely come back again!

Ira R.

Yelp
I love Square MFG's pepperoni pizzas! It's the closest thing to Chicago deep dish pizza in this area.

Dawn E.

Yelp
This pizza is good. It's ready on time. AND they guys working there are super nice. I really don't need to say much more... oh, except try the one with hot honey and pepperoni and the one with all the mushrooms. om nom.

Brooke C.

Yelp
Dense pizza on their gluten free crust was unbelievably delicious!! Their sauce was also amazing overall a 10/10 I cannot wait to order from here again!

David H.

Yelp
Complete disappointment! Cold, soggy pizza. Ordered the Zeus via uber eats. It took nearly 75 minutes to get the delivery. I ordered an unsweetened tea and received a full sugar coke.

Gerard D.

Yelp
We've been in Waltham for nearly 6 years snd there are some good pizza spots around, ordered from Square MFG for something different and GOOOODNESS did they deliver. Their pepperoni pizza is hands down one of thee best pizza slices I've had in the last 22 years living in MA. I had it for dinner last night and I'm trying to convince myself that I shouldn't order it again tonight. It was so incredibly flavorful its hard to put into words. I would absolutely highly recommend it and will definitely be ordering again.

Eric G.

Yelp
Great breadsticks and Detroit style Pizza. I always order in advance and it's always ready. Nice staff. Yummy

Anna k.

Yelp
Love the pizza flavors and crust is amazing! My go to each time I crave pizza. Fresh and delicious

Ben B.

Yelp
The pizza was absolutely delicious and it arrived quickly! I would definitely have it again should I be given the opportunity to do so!

Kevin F.

Yelp
I ordered once and the delivery person never got to my door There's a panel of buzzers, they're loud because it's a senior housing. I was really looking forward with doing business as I'm handicapped and elderly. Darn shame

Alyanna T.

Yelp
Eager to come back to Natick and try more Detroit style pizzas! Ordered the CBGB (chicken, broccoli, garlic, and bacon) and Spring Fling pizzas for a late Saturday afternoon lunch - TASTE: 4/5 - the garlic cream drizzle on the CBGB was awesome, and I'm a sucker for the Spring Fling's balsamic/caramelized onion/fig combo TEXTURE: 5/5 - this was my first time trying rectangular, Detroit style pizza, and it exceeded my expectations! Loved the thick and chewy (but crisp!) crust, and the fact that I don't need to eat edge crust too lol PRICE: 4/5 - my partner and I got Small pizzas, and they're definitely priced fairly! SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - the Small contains 6 slices and, given the loaded toppings, was super satisfying SERVICE: 4/5 - I ordered online for pickup, and our food was ready by the time we got to the counter ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - the space is small, with no indoor seating, but does Detroit proud w its decor. We ate our pizza on their outdoor, storefront bench PARKING: 4/5 - Square is located at a strip mall, so there was plenty of lot parking

John R.

Yelp
I ordered some chicken wings from this store. 16 wings was $26 which is pricey. The wings were good, though a little over sauced i thought. Really other than price I would get them again. I got BBQ and Thai sweet chili sauce The service was good and pretty quick. I did not try the Detroit pizza they specialize in but looks good. They use the Toast app for ordering which is likely the best way as I had to walk through a phone menu to order direct from the store. They seem to run on a minimal stuff but who doesn't in this age.

Edward W.

Yelp
A few months ago, I got takeout from this pizza shop in Framingham. I got a small Mushaboom pizza , small order of buffalo wings and a Greek salad. The Mushaboom pizza was Sicilian style and came with cheese, mushrooms, caramelized onions, roasted garlic and herbs. It was crispy, and airy. Yummy! I got the Buffalo wings and they were pretty tasty. They were not soaked in sauce which was good. The Greek salad came with tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, olives and chickpeas. The dressing was a bit sour for my taste. I wasn't a fan of it. I definitely will come back for the pizza and wings but not the salad!

Edward F.

Yelp
there is NO WAY these reviews are from real people. I spent THIRTY THREE dollars for some dough with a dollop of sauce and a sprinkling of vegetables. Terrible

Gregory K.

Yelp
Awesome Detroit style pizza. Reminds me of Buddy's in downtown Detroit! Give them a try

David H.

Yelp
Take out order of two pizzas and an order of wings. Decided to try Detroit style pizza - which seemed like Chicago deep dish, but a bit more soggy. Nice cheese and tomato sauce, pizza in general was tasty, but expensive. We had a onion/mushroom and a sausage/mushroom. Nicely displayed, could have been better cut as the pieces stuck together in the box. Wings (9) were a bit disappointing. Looked to be grilled, large and meaty, but hardly any classic Buffalo sauce flavoring. In fact, some of the wing segments looked burnt (black) and at $2.00/wing segment is a bit over-priced. Not again. Will try the pizza again in the future for something different, but a bit more expensive than a typical large with same toppings from other pizza places.

Aakanksha S.

Yelp
Worth the drive out for some Detroit style! Was recommended by a Detroit native, which is as much as I can say for authenticity. Note that this is a pickup spot, with no seating, or waiting inside. Order ahead! It was very popular, we saw many pickups come through in our short time there. Lots of parking though! I personally would have liked my veggie pizza to be less cheesy and messy, and have my veggies more crisp. The base was surprisingly light despite being so thick, and the crust was by far the best part, very satisfyingly crisp.

Eric D.

Yelp
The Detroit style pizza place worth driving for. If you love the crispy deep dish with loads of toppings, than this is your style pizza to dive in to. Extra crispy, cheesy, and tastyyy. So far we've tried the buffalo chicken, pepperoni, and the luau pizza now. So far our favorite is the luau pizza. The pulled pork on the pizza made all the difference. This pizza is a Hawaiian pizza on steroids. You either love it or hate it. The perfect amount of toppings and not as oily as the pepperoni. Gotta have the cheese sticks along with it. Extra crispy. Tons of flavor too. Get extra sauce with it. Worth the extra dip. Ordering a small is plenty for two imo. Add the cheesesticks and you got yourself some good eatin'. The restaurant offers takeout only. Ordering online is a cinch and they have automated text on their end when your order is ready. We drive about a half hour out to grab the deep dish and bring it back home in our hot bag. The crust still remains crispy and delicious. Cheers.

Angie J.

Yelp
Worst service. I placed an order online. They could not find the order even though I gave my last name. It was under the same last name but had my husband's first name under our Toast account. The employees were smug and said we had no order even though my card had been charged. I found the order number but had already disputed the charge on my card. The staff was really not helpful. I cannot say if the pizza is any good as I will not be going back to get it. Terribly run store. Stay away.

Melissa R.

Yelp
JUST UNREAL! Wow. I've been dying to try this place and it did NOT disappoint. The Suparoni boomed with flavor, was filling, chewy, but light honestly just PERFECTION! It may seem pricy when looking at the menu, but to be honest it's WORTH IT and you get so full off of 1 slice! Also, the cookies are baked fresh daily and... WOW. Ridiculously soft and the size of my hand. On top of the delicious food I was so happy to see how Covid safe this joint was. All staff were wearing a mask. Lastly, the text alerts are awesome. How awful is it when your pizza is ready earlier than expected and when you pick it up and it's not hot? I got there 15 mins late and my pizza was on a hot rack making it nice and hot! This place will be on rotation!

Amy Y.

Yelp
I ordered online at lunchtime and the pizza was ready when promised. It was tasty & had nice crisp edges. My issue is the pizza is about 8x12 in 8 slices. At $30 that makes it close to $4 a slice (with tip it was $4). They have interesting specialty pizzas & we may give them another try as we wanted to start with a basic but they are quite expensive IMO and truly not that different from a Pizza Hut deep dish.

David W.

Yelp
We got the Carnitas and Cheese (w/half pepperoni). I've eaten at all sorts of pizza places in NYC, Gioradano's in Chicago and plenty of places in between and this pizza was the best I've had in the nearly 40 years I've been on planet earth!! So what if it is a little expensive?!? I was a little apprehensive when I saw the prices but my wife wanted it so I gave it a try. Now I can't wait to try the Superoni and other pizzas. I will be back!!

Gelitza M.

Yelp
Ordered the veggie pizza with pepperoni. It was amazing! I would have given this place a 5 star for the pizza but its take out only.

Brian G.

Yelp
Really good Detroit style pizza. Went with the small cacciatore was delicious. It's tough to find good Detroit Style around here and this place takes the cake.

Robert F.

Yelp
Fast, awesome taste, nice service, every time. Beats the local take-out competitors. Others can make it good only occasionally. Try it.

Chirag M.

Yelp
Probably the best pizza I've had in Boston. Crisp yet pillowy crust that's loaded with toppings and packed with flavor. We did a half n half of the pepperoni and the Mushaboom. Both were oh so delicious! Aaand the service is great. Will definitely be coming back here.

Lisa B.

Yelp
I came here on 11/11/2002 to pick up 2 pizzas to eat for dinner. We saw chronicle about 6 months ago, and they had a story about this place. Finally, picked a night and ordered a small meat sweats pizza and a bbq chicken bacon pizza. We re-heated pizzas according to instructions and they were delicious. The staff was super friendly. My husband loves deep dish, and I agreed. Highly recommended and will be back to try different pizzas in future. Thank you chronicle

Nira M.

Yelp
Such good pizza!!! We've ordered from here 3x since it opened. Usually do take out, so can't comment on in store dining or service. What I can comment on is the deliciousness of this Detroit style pizza. It's deeper than NY style but shallower than Chicago style. No fork or fold necessary, but the buttery pullowy crust is dreamy. If you're in the area and feel like treating yourself to a special pizza - go here!

Joe B.

Yelp
Great square pizza. Don't be fooled by the size. It's VERY filling and tasty. Great

Maaiz K.

Yelp
Best pizza in the area by far. These guys use high quality ingredients and create great Detroit's style pizza. I've been here 4 times despite only finding the place a month ago and it being 30 minutes away. Pros: - great bread and texture - ingredients feel/taste higher quality than most - excited to see that they try new flavors often- am hoping this continues with new ownership Cons: - the grilled chicken was disappointing the one time I got it - I wish the gluten free options weren't limited to Mon-thurs, would have ordered more often if it were Pizza to get: The big cheese

M R.

Yelp
Pretty good Detroit style pizza. The pepperoni pizza is our favorite, but without the honey drizzle. Too sweet on a pizza. Blue Square Pizza in Hopkinton is a little better for Detroit style pizza and wings, but this is very close.

Andie C.

Yelp
Love this place, the pizzas are amazing, always ready on time and the employees are always pleasant, it's our go to pizza place in Natick.

Katie G.

Yelp
Amazing pizza!! I've been missing Detroit style pizza and this was perfect! The crust is that delicious crunchy cheesy masterpiece that you're looking for. And the toppings!! There were a lot of different interesting looking pizzas but I tried the Luau and the Shrimp and Grits. First the Luau omg the pork is so good so flavorful. You knew it was going to be good just by smelling it. Having the charred pineapple just is so much better and the caramelized onions added a nice sweetness. The shrimp and grits was just so fun and an interesting combinations of toppings that did mesh so well together. The hatch chili ranch drizzle was so good and next time I'm going to order some cheesesticks or something and see if I can get that as a dipping sauce! Totally worth the drive! Definitely will be coming back!

John M.

Yelp
Pizza is good if you like Detroit style pizza but it's very doughy for me. My biggest problem with this place is the cost of the pizza. $25- for a pizza which is kind of small is crazy to me. For the money to make a pizza, the price is outrageous.

Rachel M.

Yelp
Came for the pizza but will be coming back for the wings! I tried Square after driving by the shop for months and eventually deciding to give it a go. The Detroit style pizza was just as good as I hoped. I loved how it was thick but didn't leave me feeling sick from grease. But what really surprised me was the wings! Lemon pepper rub was so flavorful I was shocked. The classic Buffalo was solid but the house made blue cheese that came with it really kicked things into high gear. I will definitely order again!

Matt W.

Yelp
Had The Big Cheese Detroit style pizza. Delicious, great ingredients. Never had Detroit style before; not sure if this pizza had as much carmalization as I've heard for Detroit style pizza. Still a great pizza. I'd give 5* but prices are not wallet friendly. I'll have again but not frequently.

Franklin Z.

Yelp
I seriously love the pizza here!! The flavors are so unique such as the beef and broccoli or the carnitas street taco flavor. I also got to try the luau/hawaiian style one. The beef and broccolli was my favorite surprisingly but al of them were good! They were made fresh with a thicker crust and breading. Service is fast, although my party did have to wait 45 minutes for the pizza to be ready, so call in advance for your order! I found this place on Tiktok but so glad that we stopped on the way to try it. Very worth it and am already looking forward to the next time I return!

Eric C.

Yelp
I can't say enough about how great this pizza is. I'm in town from Indy working in Natick for a few days and ended up eating this two nights in a row. The Suparoni is an amazing example of the Detroit style pizza and the Mike's Hot Honey gives it something no other pie has. If you're thinking about it, stop thinking and just get it.

H L.

Yelp
Since COVID we've been watching a lot of videos on food. I was going to try to make it myself...then I googled and found MFG. This was a commitment to drive 30 min there and back. We ordered the Luau pizza and a large with pepperoni and Mike's hot honey. I didn't realized we ordered the small Luau-we meant to order the large. It did not disappoint...crispy even though it was in the box for 30+ min. We enjoyed both kinds. Even the next day...we heated it in the oven and it was still crispy. Delicious and my new favorite pizza. if it was closer I would order it every week.

Michelle C.

Yelp
Yuuum! I love the crunchy outside and soft inside of this pizza plus the sauce is so flavorful! Adding this place to one of my new pizza favs! Medium pizza is 6 slices and large is 8. It may seem small when you first look at it but it's actually very filling. I could only eat 1 slice! The best part is ...it's great for leftovers the next day! Dare I say, the reheated version is even better? Just did a second order to try the wings, fingers crossed they are just as delicious as the pizza! Lots of Parking as this in the same shopping center as Oga's and other businesses, located on route 9 westbound after Valvoline on the right. Curbside pickup available!

Yelp
The North End has never looked so old. The specialty pizzas "manufactured" by Square MFG Co are nothing short of culinary genius. If this isn't, what is? Let's get right to it. Here's the rundown of everything I've tried off their menu rated on a 10-point scale. - Suparoni: 10+ / 10 - Carnitas Street Tacos (Pizza): 10+ / 10 - Shrimp & Grits (Pizza): 10+ / 10 - Buffalo Chicken Deluxe: 10+ / 10 - Luau: 10 / 10 - Mushaboom: 9 / 10 - Veggie: 8 / 10 - CBGB: 8 Out of 10 - Bone-In Wings (Classic Buffalo): 7 / 10 Note that amongst the top 4 or 5 pizzas on the list above I can't choose a favorite. They're all just so damn good. Many of the reviews for Square MFG Co center on debate regarding Detroit vs. New York style pizza - forget about this. This is not a matter of one style being superior to the other. Instead, Square MFG Co's brilliance comes from their ability to use Detroit style pizza crust as a vehicle to layer elegantly crafted flavor combinations derived from a large variety of often non-traditional toppings - something you just can't do well with a NY style pizza. The end results are numerous specialty pizzas that are so far beyond anything we've commonly referred to as pizza. (P.S. to Square MFG Co - I can't wait to try the pizza you're developing next... The Newburg: Newburg sauce flavored with cognac topped with Comte and Taleggio cheeses, Shallots, and Lobster (or maybe just shrimp), finished with a white truffle oil. LOL? It'll only cost $50 a slice... make it happen!) -

Fatboy S.

Yelp
Really good pizza here. Not the best but definitely worthy. Got a pepperoni, Buffalo chicken, and a bbq chicken.

Ed L.

Yelp
Ordered pizza and wings. Got salt and grease with a side of pizza. First and last order.

John L.

Yelp
Ordered pizzas that were either burned to point where pepperoni turns to dust when you touch it and another pizza made with the sauce I called in specifically to tell them not to use. Then called and was told to take it up with Grubhub. No apology, no offer of a free pizza next time, no offer to send over new (edible) pizza. Instead a ton of attitude from a kid clearly overwhelmed by the chaos there.

John M.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food and customer service! I've ordered there 4 time in the last month and the food is consistent every time!

利翔

Yelp
best pizza ever had, amazing! The mushroom smell like truffle and taste full of flavors, the place is super clean and very friendly~

Estey M.

Yelp
Best pizza ever! Get mushaboom!!! Carnitas is also delicious and spicy they deliver now too!!!

R P.

Yelp
Delicious pizza - this is not your thin-crust pizza, but thick hearty slices. A nice range of toppings, and delicious fresh-baked cookies for dessert

Paul G.

Yelp
I've had other worldly pizza in Naples, I've had great pizza in Rome, NYC, San Francisco and New Haven, I've had very good pizza in Boston but this pizza just doesn't cut it for me no matter how you slice it. Nothing about it stood out...dough, sauce, cheese, pepperoni....all rather meh. I had wanted to try Detroit Style Pizza for awhile due to all the raves but now that I have I will stick to Neapolitan or Thin Crust Pizza such as NY or New Haven style.

Kevin B.

Yelp
Worst pizza I've had in my entire life. My whole family hated it. We ended up throwing out three pizzas after a couple of bites in each.
