Best Pizza in Philadelphia | Eater Philly

"Square Pie’s dining room feels like a throwback, with red checkered tablecloths and a small open kitchen. With their reliable classic and square pies, plus Caesar salad and spaghetti and meatballs, it’s a mainstay of the neighborhood for takeout, family pizza night, and casual date nights." - Annemarie Dooling

Square Pie - Review - Queen Village - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Despite its name, Queen Village’s Square Pie has pizzas that are both rectangular and round. But no matter what your personal shape preference is, this pizza is notable for its puff. The crust here is Sicilian-adjacent, meaning it's hefty and thick, but still airy. There’s no wrong answer here, so you can go with the meatball and onion, or white spinach that’s topped with polka dots of Calabro ricotta. It's equal parts fluffy mounds of cheese and wilted leafy greens that’s so flavorful you won’t even need to reach for the red pepper flakes and grated parmesan on the red checkered tables." - Candis R. The 15 Best Restaurants In Queen Village

"Like vegan meatballs and Happy Hour during spin class, Square Pie isn’t quite what it seems. Their pizzas come in all shapes and sizes, but no matter what your personal preference is, you’ll always get a pizza with a sweet and savory sauce and crispy edges. Since there’s no wrong answer here, try the pancetta with leeks and rosemary potatoes, or the spinach that’s dotted with Calabro ricotta." - candis mclean, alison kessler

20 Essential Places for Pizza in Philly

"This small Queen Village pizzeria does “Brooklyn-style” pizza, meaning Sicilian-style square pies with thick, bubbly crusts and a heavy hand with toppings. Square Pie’s porchetta pie — a take on a Philly roast pork sandwich — will win over any skeptics, and you can bring your own drinks to dine in or place takeout and delivery orders online." - Eater Staff, Dayna Evans, Sarah Maiellano

Right now, I think Square Pie is the best pizza in the city. I’ve added it to the list of places I’ll be taking my friends and family when they visit. It’s so crunchy and so soft at the same time with just unreal flavor. The owner, Jules (sp?), super nice, too. Can tell he’s super passionate about pizza! Oh, and the house made hot sauce is just as incredible as the pizza.

Google
Great neighborhood gem! The staff was very helpful and accommodating of my friend and I requesting to get the speciality pizzas without various meats. We got the MVP and white sausage (both without meat) and they were awesome! The MVP is some of the best pizza I’ve had, the vodka sauce and flavors are amazing. The atmosphere is very cozy. It is also a byob.

Google
I stopped by Square Pie for lunch. The pizza is amazing. I got a red pie with pepperoni. Like others said, the crust is amazing. The best part was Lew & Giuliano. Giuliano is the owner and his dad is Lew. Great people. Super nice. You can tell they love what they do. It is BYOB, so don’t forget to bring a bottle of wine or beer. All around a great place—nice people, great pizza, and a comfortable place.

Our guests devoured their delicious Pepperoni and Red pizza pies at our Superbowl watch party. The crust and pizza sauce were among the best I've ever had. We ordered for pickup over the phone and it was ready at the promised time. The few leftover pizza slices we had were still delicious on being reheated the next day.

This place is absolutely fantastic! I rarely eat the crust of a pizza and I could not stop myself here! Their flavors are so good I can't wait to go back! Make sure you visit next time you're in South Philly baby!

Google
Walked in and ordered, cute place in a nice neighborhood. The 2 guys working were super friendly and gave us water while we waited. Regret getting the small pie because it was fantastic! Meatballs also looked very good. Can't wait to go back and try more they have to offer Update* arancini may have been the best I've had. Again super friendly and accommodating staff.

The owner was there the day I took my mother in law. She is from Brooklyn and absolutely loved it! I forget what the brand of the soda is. But that the bottle soda they had was so good as well. And the owner could not have possibly been any nicer and more accommodating. We will definitely go back there.

Google
Cozy neighborhood BYOB pizza place. We got the red pie with pepperoni and peppers as well as the spinach white pie. The red pie was so flavorful and fluffy, I enjoyed it a lot. The spinach pie unfortunately was a let down, it was lackluster and really didn’t taste like much. It was also a lot more crispy around the edges. The service was friendly and attentive. Chill vibe in there too!

Yelp
My, My, My the pizza was sooo good!! I got every bit of my 20.00 worth at square pie! So I was in the area for work and was looking for something quick to pick up for lunch and I saw square pie. I ordered online and went in the store about 15 minutes later and it was ready when I arrived. I ordered the white pizza and decided to add pepperoni for some razzle dazzle! The first bite was yum at first bite! The dough was light crispy and soft at the same time...yea I don't know how they did it either....and the cheese was flavorful and garlicky, it didn't need nothing added to this pizza it was perfect just the way it was, oh and the pepperoni cups was chef's kiss! What more can I say this pizza was delightful by far one of the best pizza I had. Customer service was also great. I definetly look forward to returning!

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday evening with friends and was lucky it wasn't packed yet for dine in. This place gets filled up fast as it is small, but well lit. I had a large 12x12 sausage pie which is around $23. The pizza is a thick Sicilian style that is very filling. I needed a box and should have got the smaller 8x8 which goes for $14 if you want it plain. Service was very good and we got our pizza pretty fast. There's a small bathroom for one person. Overall great experience and I would suggest this place to anyone.

Yelp
My little baby and I had been working our asses off, so wanted a day to just watch movies and demolish a pizza. The soul just needs a full pig out day every now and then. We had our heart set on Angelo's Pizzeria, but after waiting in a line stretching the block we were told "we aren't making any more pizzas." A crushing blow to the heart, mind, and soul. I was pouting like an 8 year old on the walk back, when my baby said "We could try Square Pie, it's new and supposed to be really good!" I was still crushed from the Angelo's defeat and responded with a "yeah, whatever." She ordered a Large Red pie with Pepperoni on top, and when I opened the box I was in disbelief. It looked SO good. Like an angel spreading its wings. It's a thick square pizza doused in red sauce, mozzarella, topped with perfectly crisped pepperonis and has an elite crunch on the crust. It tasted even better than it looked. We sat there watching White Chicks, ripping through this pizza slice by slice, brick by brick. It was sensational and everything I could have asked for on a pig out day. Sometimes, God closes the Angelos door and opens the Square Pie window. You gotta keep the faith. Yelp
Came here after drinking coffee in the area and we were starving for lunch. The place is quite cold, despite the double doors. Service is super friendly and prompt. I can imagine it would be really cute at night with the intimate seating and lighting. During the day it's just okay, haha. We ordered a small red pie and a small white. It took a little longer than expected to come out, despite how empty it was, but it was worth the wait. The crust is super crispy and had a great flavor. We liked the red over the white spinach pie, the white was a tad bland for us.

Yelp
Simply incredible. Honestly we came here because Angelos was closed and what a find this place was. I'm a huge fan of square pies and this place more than delivers. The crust was so light and airy with great flavor and seasoning. We got half pepperoni and half sausage but I don't think it matters what toppings you get! Can't wait to go back! It takes around 25-30 minutes to make but well worth the wait.

Yelp
Amongst three, we shared the Caesar Salad and two small pizzas - one red sauce and one white sauce pie. The Caesar Salad was a bit salty in my opinion but the garlic and pepper helped offset the creaminess/heaviness one might feel. The dough was out of this world - having tastes of an everything bagel seasoning with the texture of a ciabatta, so you'll end up finishing every bite (no crusts left behind)! I'd love to come again and try their other specialty pies.

Yelp
Sometimes 5 stars just isn't enough! So is the case for the experience I had this weekend at Square Pie. A quiet Sunday lunch with a bottle of cabernet, two "small" pizzas, and a perfect house salad. I'll get into the food, of course, but more important to me is the fact that I came here and felt immediately initiated into the Square Pie family: literally. Owner/chef Giuliano was tucked away in the kitchen while his dad served my boyfriend and I with the kind of immediate care and welcoming nature you can only find in an Italian joint run by native South Philadelphians. We had made plans to come here as an extra special post-half marathon meal and got so much more than we bargained for at every level. As for the food, the pepperoni pizza is the best pizza I've had in Philadelphia and it's not close. Pardon my french, but I am Philly pizza's number one shit talker. I love Pizzata and I love Paulie Gee's and a few of the other spots that specialize in specific styles, but I overwhelmingly find Philly's pizza scene to be...unfortunate. Cue the Shrek credits because I am now a believer. The cup and char pepperoni holds honey and oily perfection in every bite, with a crust that melts in your mouth. Sauce matches sweetness to acidity and isn't heavy handed. Or maybe it's that everything is a little heavy handed and that's what makes it magical? Who cares. I tried to savor every bite but I am already daydreaming about the next time I can drink wine and eat this pizza. The romaine salad was a recommendation and shouldn't be skipped! Roasted tomatoes bring it all together but the red wine vinaigrette and jelly yolk boiled egg make it pack extra punch. The pizza on special was amazing as well - covered in brussels and fontina and caramelized onions. They post their special pies on Instagram and I think they change weeklyish. Delivery is available on Slice and Uber Eats, something I know I'll be taking advantage of in the near future. That being said, it's hard to replicate the fun of dining in. Square Pie has updated their hours so if it's been a minute, grab a bottle of wine and settle in. Pizza cheers!

Yelp
We've walked past this place so many times and finally went! When we took our first bite of pizza, we knew we had been missing out. Square Pie is the kind of pizza shop that any neighborhood would be happy to have - it's homey and cozy, the staff is friendly, and the pizza is really well made. (It's also a BYOB - which is getting increasingly harder to find in Philly.) The dough is flavorful, with beautiful bubbles of aeration that somehow still have structure under the generous toppings. We tried the soppressetta red and pancetta white pizzas ($17 for 8 inch squares) and they were the perfect size for the two of us to split and feel comfortably full. The pancetta one was creamy, rich, and decadent, and the sopprassetta was zingy and a little spicy - we'd definitely order both again. There were some big groups (including a group of octogenarians who came in with literal gallon jugs of wine) and based on the good times being had, I'd say that if you can score a table, this is a great place to split some pies and salads with friends and family!

Yelp
It's hard to really describe the style of this pizza - it's not Detroit not traditional square or Philly but really good. The energy is all Philly in all the best ways and it's authentic to itself. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I didn't think I would like it but I loved it. It was $20-ish and when o saw the small box I was about to be sad because I was hungry but This is some fluffy pizza and filling. so if you like this square pie style- you'll love this! I think they call it Brooklyn style? Is it Sicilian? Is it deep dish or something like that or cast iron? I have no idea but it was some puff pizza and flavorful. I dunno but the dough is good. Just got the basic cheese flavor because I have an anti-pork partner and I didn't see any beef choices. I'm not a chicken fan person. But I saw a mushroom special on the board and I totally would have gotten that one. I love mushrooms. I only got to eat 3 slices out of the 9 before my partner vacuumed it up the next day leftovers too. Ha. All good.

Yelp
Had a classic red pie with pepperoni and it was phenomenal. Great atmosphere and great, fun service. Now my new spot to go when I visit Philly.

Yelp
Nice, crispy, fluffy crust with great ingredients and flavor. Too bad I couldn't eat the pizza there, and only got to it 150 miles later. I'll definitely go back there again!

Yelp
Back again for another stellar experience. This is some of the best pizza in Philly. Period. Came here on a Saturday night and got seated right away (3 people around 6pm). Our waitress was so friendly and bubbly that we just felt right at home. As an update to my last review, they added many more tables (probably for the dinnertime rush). There is plenty of seating here -- good for parties of 4 or less, but you may be able to squeeze in 6. In this update, I ate a Red Pie with Pepperoni and Olives and Arancini. Red Pie with Pepperoni and Olives - This one was the personal pie size, which leaves the average person pretty satisfied, but I wished these were just slightly bigger. Finished mine and reached for slices from others. Crust is perfectly crisp while maintaining good fluffiness internally. Plenty of pepperoni and olives on here. The olives were nice and tangy. Really can't go wrong with any of their red pies. Sauce is bold and delicious. Arancini - Like fried risotto balls, these are wonderfully light appetizers. Rich in flavor, very savory, crisp exterior -- paired nicely with marinara sauce. Tbh I wasn't very excited about these when we ordered them, but I was pleasantly surprised by nearly every aspect. Definitely would order again. Value: 4/5 Quality: 4/5 Quantity: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5

Yelp
Philadelphia's best pizza spot hands down no contest . ( btw - Pizzeria beddia was my number one back when it was a one man 40 pie a night shop ) . I actually found out about this place because I read somewhere that joe beddia himself said this was one of his personal favorite pizza spots in Philly . Over the course of several visits and deliveries I have tried every white pie as well a few custom white pies . Honestly they are all great ! Why is this place my top spot ? Four words : small batch slow fermentation. Like how pizzeria beddia used to be the dough here is slowly fermented over the course of an extended period time which gives the crust a more complex flavor ...think Belgian beer yeast vibes . I'd recommend getting a small if your going for the porchetta or pancetta if there are 1-2 people in your party as the slices are super heavy and filling . 1 slice is really all you need . So four slices ( a small pie ) for two people is plenty .
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
Looks are deceiving, great things come in small packages. Started with Arancini which was delicious with a slight kick at the end, but not too spicy at all. Pizza was amazing and I have my share of pizza being from Brooklyn, NY. Sauce was delicious and pizza was not doughy and cooked just right, it was not soggy and light. Service was attentive, respectful and extremely friendly. Dining room was a little one but quaint and homey and feels like a Godfather restaurant feel, in a food way. Definitely place to go for pizza when back in Philly.

Yelp
Delicious, fresh pies every time! Made to order. Crispy crust, cooked doughy soft center. Every pie here is incredible! Cute little dining area with simple design. You can watch the owner making the pies while you wait. This place is gets lots of customers as it should!! I have had a great experience each time. 5/5

Yelp
Square Pie has been on my radar since it opened. I don't know why it took me so long to finally place an order for delivery. I ordered a large pizza, half pepperoni and half sausage. The pizza arrived warm, looked tasty, and I was eager to dig in. The pizza was so delicious. The sausages were large and juicy on one side. The pepperoni was good and plentiful on the other side. This is a thick crust pan pizza on par with the best pan pizza in Chicago. You can't get pizza like this anywhere else in Philly. One large pizza ended up being three meals, as each slice is so filling. I'm already looking forward to my next order.
google avatar

Liz Y.

Yelp
Popped in here for lunch because Angelo's had a crazy long line... but we're so happy we did! This place is a hidden gem! The pizza is wonderfully light and fluffy. We ordered the small Red with half pepperoni, and we also ordered the small Porchetta. This place is definitely top 3 pizzas in Philadelphia.

Bob J.

Yelp
Delicious deep dish pizza. Excellent place for fresh tasty food. A great local Queen Village spot.

peter D.

Yelp
Pizza is absolutely incredible. Seriously might've been the best pizza I've ever had. Service is great. Do not hesitate to order here.
google avatar

Carolyn C.

Yelp
New favorite pizza in Philly! Well worth the price, and I only wish there was a location closer to us in fishtown.

Tammy M.

Yelp
Everyone said to go to Angelo's for pizza. We went. We left because they didn't have seating. A local suggested Square Pie. It was a short walk from Angelo's. We highly recommend Square Pie! We enjoyed everything about it. Great crust! As Lou told us, the crust is so good that everyone eats the whole crust unlike other pizzas. The pepperoni was thick with a little spice. The cozy atmosphere is what we expected of a local pizza place. The business story is heartwarming. We will definitely go back to Square Pie when in Philly.
google avatar

Brigette B.

Yelp
We have been on a pizza tour to find the best pizza in Philly and Square Pizza is definitely top 3! The crust is crispy and the sauce they use on their pizza is delicious!
google avatar

Samuel S.

Yelp
Very good pizza, if a bit untraditional. But this place is unassuming and has fair prices. Ingredients all fresh, bread is voluminous and chewy, sauce is sublime. Will definitely be returning soon.
google avatar

Jonalee N.

Yelp
Reviews are kind of misleading tbh, traveled an hour and was super excited to come here but it was pretty mid in my opinion. The service was good. Pizza was overpriced for the amount given and the quality but it didn't taste terrible. Wasn't awful but don't see myself ever coming again
google avatar

Tom M.

Yelp
This was the first time in a long time that I eaten from here. I have to say, it's one of my favorite pizza places in Philly at the moment. Very fresh ingredients, and delicious. The dough is similar to a focaccia, and the sauce, cheese, and the mushrooms, added a very nice flavor profile. If you are into Sicilian style pizza, this is the place to go.

Adrian A.

Yelp
As a vivid pizza eater. I have eaten a lot of pizza in my life. I can confidently say, that Square Pie, has some of the best pizza in Philly / the country. God bless!

Timothy D.

Yelp
Delicious Sicilian pizza great dough with depth of flavor and savory toppings I totally recommend this pizza.

Darryl B.

Yelp
Finally got to try this place. Had a pepperoni pie. This was the absolute best pizza I've ever had since moving to Philly area. Thanks so much!

Kim Y.

Yelp
Delicious thick crust and byob is great; we love getting pizza from here once a month, it's always been a little too salty but lately it's even more so. If they cut back on the salt it'll be perfect!
google avatar

Manda P.

Yelp
A friend recommended this spot and I was hooked from the first bite. Best pizza in the city!
google avatar

Andrea F.

Yelp
This place has been on my list since I got a damn Yelp account a dozen years ago, but better late than never. I love a good Sicilian, but most are too bready and sit in your stomach like a rock. Enter Square Pie, a yeast scented slice of heaven that begs the question: why more crust when you can have more toppings? Ordered steamy hot pizza to-go on a cold night (cue Kevin McCallister's "A lovely cheese pizza, just for me"). Got a red mushroom pizza and a white pancetta pizza. I still can't decide which I like better, although I will say the one-four punch of cured pork belly, rosemary potatoes, leeks, & cream (ripped straight from their website) edged out the mushroom in sheer creativity alone. However, that red sauce is to die for. Vibrant and tangy, this is a mouth ulcer sauce, you feel me? With that said, the crust still holds its own as a necessary subplot. More crispy (dare I say even charred?) than chewy, it's giving Neapolitan style in square form. Get a large or two 8-inchers like we did - they'll be gone fast.

Meghan M.

Yelp
Love love love this pizza! Cute vibes if you want to dine in but the pizza also travels well. The owner is very kind and welcoming. Perfect crust and the pepperoni is high quality deliciousness.

Aidan A.

Yelp
Fire. I don't usually freak out about food, but this is legit the best thick style pizza I've ever had. The sauce is what carries it. Very little cheese, cuz this pie doesn't need it. Get the red pie, trust me.
google avatar

Shelley M.

Yelp
I didn't have high expectations since I ordered our pizzas as delivery. They showed up crazy hot and absolutely delicious. One of the best pizzas I've had in ages. We ordered one pepperoni and one sausage. Both were stellar!
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
Square Pie is still bomb as ever. We arrived at 4pm on the dot to place a takeout order to bring to my brother's house for his birthday. We started a tradition of birthday pizza parties and, let me just tell you, it's proven to be a great decision. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and spinach pizza, and a Caesar salad. But after chatting it over with the chef and hostess, I added a second salad which was smart. One would not have been enough for four people but two was just right. Their caesar is great! The pizzas were perfection. I don't know how they make those giant, thick slices somehow feel light but the crust is flaky, flavorful and just amazing. The toppings are just right without going overboard. I had a slice of each pie which was the perfect amount. Can't wait for the next visit or takeout order!
google avatar

Lizzy S.

Yelp
This is my favorite pizza place East of Italy. Pro tip/the most important thing: calling in an order for take out, call back if it just rings. They are always busy, from the minute doors open, but they will answer the phone eventually!! If you're dining in, be prepared to wait. It is small inside, just 10 tables I think. But the wait is WORTH it! Also, it's byob, which is nice. Inside: small, cozy, intimate. You can see the kitchen from all tables. Lovely lighting, cute on-brand deco. Food: start with a salad. They're all simple but perfectly executed. We had the romaine, it's got red wine vinaigrette and artichokes. If you're with a crowd, do the arancini - 6 pieces of cheesey, prosciutto goodness. Pizza: honestly, always get the special. They're dreamed up by chef gene. Most recently I had the sausage, w duck fat onions and roast peppers. The sausage is made on-site and is the obvious star, second star is the amazing, thick fluffy Brooklyn style crust. The small is more than enough for 2 meals for 2 people, so I suggest you get two smalls and eat pizza all weekend. I'm really eager to try their pancetta pie, a white pie w/ leeks, potatoes, and cream.
google avatar

Richie H.

Yelp
We were around the neighborhood and were looking for kid friendly places. They have some coloring books and crayons available for the kids. I love thick dough pizza and this hit the mark. We ordered the sausage and a plain cheese pizza. I really loved the sausage on the sausage pizza. Big chunks. Other toppings include roasted peppers and onions. You can see the bubbling of the yeast rise up. The center was probably a little on the raw side given the toppings and thickness so I lowered my rating a bit. One note of caution. These pizzas are extremely greasy as they need a lot of oil to cook the bottom. Great pie though!
google avatar

Julie W.

Yelp
It's always a treat when we order square pie. They literally serve square pizzas that squeeze into their pizza boxes. They're thick and filling, even if they appear a bit smaller on first inspection. The crust is buttery - remind me a bit of sourdough which I love. My favorite pies are pepperoni, pancetta (yes! Potatoes!), sopressata, but they're all fun to try. The romaine salad is also great if you want something fresh on the side.
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
One of the best pizzas in Philly hands down! Cannot be compared to other pizza places. Ordered take out and the pizza was still warm and fresh. We ordered the porchetta and soppressetta. Both were delicious! The thickness of the pizza was about 0.5-1" and was very hearty. The crust was super crispy. Pizzas weren't too oily or salty and has a good ratio of toppings and dough. Only thing is I wish the pizza was cut all the way through.
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
MUST go here! This is the local pizza spot where everyone brings their family on the weekend. The vibe was just great. The red checkered table cloths make you feel like you are in Italy. The food is amazing! We got the pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. I was hesitant to come here because I love thin crust with not a lot of sauce. The thick crust was amazing. There was a little to much sauce for my liking but normal amount for normal people. The sauce was so good and that means a lot coming from someone who isn't a fan. It was cooked perfectly and crispy. I used to order santuccis but I found my new place. Can't wait to go back. And it's BYOB, can't get much better than that!
google avatar

Andy M.

Yelp
Still one of my favorite places in Queen Village. I haven't had a disappointing pizza here yet, though I will say get the red sauce; it's too good to pass up. The chewy, tangy crust with that char around the edges is the best. Glad they got the arancini back on the menu; some of the best I've had anywhere.

B T.

Yelp
After all the fabulous reviews I was really looking forward to tasting this pizza. While I found the place pleasant enough and the staff lovely, I thought the white pizza really did not have enough cheese and mostly tasted like salt and herbs. The red pizza was better, but not enough cheese on that either. The best part of the pizza is actually the dough. The toppings can still use some work.
google avatar

Amelia C.

Yelp
Loved the crispy and thick crust. The tomato sauce on the pizza had the perfect flavor- wasn't too sweet or sour. Our pizza could have used a bit more cheese to hold the sauce down. Overall, great flavors!
google avatar

Anjie Y.

Yelp
OH MY WORD, I had to come onto Yelp as soon as I finished because this was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The porchetta pizza was so perfect--rich and cheesy, and SO flavorful (I believe it's topped with porchetta/pork, spinach, provolone, garlic, and cream). And the dough is everything pizza dough should strive to be--thick, with a bite, and the perfect balance of chewy and crispy. None of that burnt, or super thin business. It was a little oily, but it didn't feel heavy or overbearing at all! Ordering by phone was super convenient and quick, and you just walk in and pay--everyone was so kind! This pizza warmed my heart and made me forget about everything that's been happening in 2020. I've been dreaming about pizza for the past few days and you best believe I walked home SO FAST, holding the small warm box of deliciousness in my hands as if my happiness depended on it. (And it did--I am SO happy right now, so thank you Square Pie!)
google avatar

Olivia E.

Yelp
Quaint little pizza shop in Queen Village that makes square, deep dish pizza. Their pizza is good, but it's very rich and greasy, which is a little too much for my liking. If you're a fan of deep dish pizza though, they're one of the only places in the area where you can find deep dish. Only way to order is by calling ahead. Be sure to check out the hours listed on their website, because they can be open odd hours. Masks are required at all times and they do not have outdoor seating available. When indoor seating is open, they only have a few tables since they are a small place. They're very picturesque though, so it's worth checking them out.

Yelp
Why have I not been here before? What has taken me so long to find this little piece of pizza heaven? This place is a BYO, so come prepared. They had alot of take out orders too! Its literally some of the best pizza I've had in philadelphia. Its the closest thing to deep dish you will find. Its super filling, so be mindful when you order! Luckily, our waitress was kind enough to keep us from over ordering. We ordered a mushroom pie and an eggplant pie. Both were delicious. Both were totally different in flavor. I seroiusly cant wait to go back again. My mouth is watering already!

Yelp
As soon as you open the first door you are hit with the delicious smell of pizza that will make you drool. The inside reminds me of an old school Italian restaurant from the table cloth to the floor. Super cute. We have only taken out but the pizza was still delicious. Extremely greasy. You WILL need some tea to calm your stomach afterwards but it is well worth it. The crust alone is good. Would also highly recommend the arancini! ARANCINI: deep-fried rice balls, prosciutto, roasted peppers SAUSAGE roasted peppers, duck fat onions PANCETTA cured pork belly, rosemary potatoes, leeks, cream
