$2 Dollars for a slice. At that price point this is an excellent slice. The crust is chewy and the pizza is oily. I was impressed with the overall flavor and freshness. Will absolutely come back. They were open relatively late during covid which was nice. Outdoor seating made the experience even better!

We stopped in for a quick dinner while doing laundry across the street. Really tasty and fresh pizza by the slice! Highly recommend the pesto and bbq chicken.

Delicious pizza, reasonable prices, and quick service. The plain slice is thin and crispy with a well-balance between the cheese and sauce. Highly recommend stopping by and trying the plain slice. Cash and credit are both accepted. ATM is available. Metered street parking, but it is a busy area and difficult to find parking. 12/2023

I've ordered delivery twice from square pizza NYC, the first time was good, the second time was probably the worse pizza I've had in 15 years, and the first pizza where I couldn't even finish a slice. Pizza arrived cold, it was half cheese half pepperoni and the pepperoni side was covered with pepperoni's stacked on top of each other. The pizza was so greasy, and had clearly sat so long that some of the grease had congealed on the pizza, and had turned the overall texture of the pizza into mush The pizza arrived after about 45 minutes, but I'm pretty sure this was an old cheese pizza they cooked a few hours earlier, then threw a pile of pepperoni's on one half of it, and then sent off to be delivered, because the pepperoni's were just piled on one side of the pizza and it didn't look like they were cooked with it

I ordered delivery, the square chicken parmesan pizza and chicken parmesan calzones. The square pizza was absolutely delish, tasted fresh, was a perfect temputure with a nice crunchy crust. I highly recommend. I only take away one star from total review because the calzones were a bit toasty almost burnt in some areas. I can only guess that maybe the calzones were baked too close to the sides of the oven or left in there too long? Oh yes and I also ordered garlic knots. The garlic knots were soo good, fresh minced garlic, delicious. The order came in less than one hour on a Saturday night which is amazing. I would love to visit in person to rate the atmosphere, etc and to give the calzones another try. I plan to update this review once I go in person.

The only vegan pizza my son will eat is offered here. Love this place so much. I only wish there was an option to order online a vegan cheese pizza, but this is close enough to pick up luckily. Great customer service also as I was paranoid of the vegan cheese actually being vegan. It tastes so good that it worries me,actually. Highly recommend and a big thank you to the boss man of this place.

I love this place! I live in PA and am not in NYC often, but I make it a point to stop here every time I come in. Thin crust, crispy and tasty…awesome!! My personal favorite is the BBQ chicken pizza and my husband loves the Margarita.

We stopped by after a night out, so definitely a somewhat biased/not entirely right of mind review. Not the cheapest slice at 5 dollars a slice, but it was honestly pretty good in the moment. The dough was a little too crackery for my taste; had no bite or chew to it, but just cracked and crumbled. Felt as if they overbiased on the thin crust, and basically just made a cracker pizza. The toppings felt quite fresh, and had good flavors throughout. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area, craving a late night slice!

Not $1.00 slices, but pizza is good here. Pizza is always great late night or after drinking too much after brunch midday lol. Pizza was hot and crispy. Not much seating space as it's eat and go place. Music playing and i was def vibin lol. Hot honey pepperoni was great. Plenty of speciality slices to choose from.

Not the best NY pizza that you will find, but when you have had a few drinks and want a snack before bed, you might think it. Perfect crunch on the bottom, delicious and flavorful sauces. Lots of varieties to try from (buffalo chicken, pepperoni, cheese, margarita, you name it) Have had both the normal cheese and pepperoni slices, but tried the cauliflower last night and it honestly surprised me. Delicious and great texture!

Excellent pizzas on Clinton Street. Consistently quality pies, this is some quality NYC pizza.

what we ordered: $5 per slice buffalo chicken margarita chicken parm lasagna . this is one of the crispiest pizza ive ever had! you can definitely hear the crunch when you bite into it. flavors are great and super fresh too. love that it's thin crusted too. overall, really great spot and will definitely be frequenting here if i ever crave pizza.

I'm so grateful to Square Pizza being open late into the night/morning. This has become one of my most visited pizza establishments in NYC because of its convenience, variety/ scrumptiousness of each slice, and friendliness of the staff. Let's start with the most important topic- the PIZZA! I have only arrived to this establishment after midnight and often they do not have all of the pizzas that are on the menu out for purchase- literally what you see is what you can get. However, you can't go wrong because all of their pizzas have been DELICIOUS. I love that the staff is so friendly, even in the wee hours of the morning. They have always been accommodating to my friend and I who insist on adding hot honey to whichever slice we order. This pizza establishment needs to be on your list of places to go to when it is late at night. After trying many that are open past midnight, this is the one I seek out. Make sure you put it on your list.

As good a NY slice as I've ever had. $2.50 for a "regular" (cheese) slice. The crust was the perfect NY firm bottom and the sauce was the star. The service was fast and friendly. It's a take out place with a few seats and is bright and welcoming.

Amazing pizza! The spicy pepperoni is just as good as the top places in NYC. Big, yet light, slightly sweet and salty. Perfection. I also tried the Buffalo chicken which is really good and comes on a thin crust which is a nice change. The margarita, also great. 3/3 for each type I tried!

The pizza here is great I love that everything is basically thin crust and they have really good specialty topping options. The staff was super friendly and the place was nice and clean. It's a grab and go type of place. Also if you check in with yelp you get 20% off. I definitely recommend to come here.

Needed to eat a late dinner since I just flew in. This pizza place was near where I was staying, was open and checked off the NY pizza item in the "to eat list". They're a small shop with just some bar seating and outside tables. The pizza is displayed and they have a variety. I tried the margherita, pepperoni, and sausage pizza slices. When they come out of the oven, they're hot and crispy and taste awesome. I'm not a fan of the ricotta cheese and the pizza was just ok after it cooled down. So, it's best to just eat it there.

This is one of the best pizza shops near my job that I truly enjoy on my break. The pizza is good quality and the owner is very professional. This is my second time coming here and I truly enjoy good pizza and this spot is definitely one of my to go spots. I've tried 4 different pizzas and I have NOT been disappointed. Truly a gem in the lower east side.

My new favorite pizza spot! The crust is thin and crispy, their veggie slice is loaded with lots of veggies on top - just the way I like it. The employees are always super nice as well. I've only been here twice; the second time was two days after and I came in to try the Spicy Mexican slice. Unfortunately they didn't have it so I got the veggie instead (the guy even added jalapenos for me!). Drooling now .. this is my new go-to spot in the area for pizza, I want to try them all!

Who doesn't love pizza? I would go to the ends of the world if I had to--in order to find a good pizza place. Once upon a time, good pizza places were plentiful in Lower Manhattan--not anymore--Square Pizza is among the most disappointing. To begin with, it arrived lukewarm, but I didn't mind since it was about 90 degrees outside. The crust had a weird texture. Thin crust, but it was soggy and grainy at the same time--the texture you usually get with day old pizza. Now for the taste test--mama mia--this is bad!!! Bland!!! No flavor!!! How can you possibly ruin such a simple dish! I will however give them one more try, perhaps they were having a bad day or the chef got sick! It happens to the best of us and in view of the previous positive reviews I think I owe it to myself--a real pizza lover!

Awesome selection love this place. Ordered a chicken slice with white sauce. This place is very easy to spot with their sign right outside. They even make juices and smoothies and provide free WiFi!

This pizza place is pretty good and also decently prized! My coworkers and I got some pizza slices here and we loved them. I remember getting their meatiest pizza, a regular pepperoni pizza, and buffalo chicken pizza. Everything was great! I agree with the other yelpers commenting on their thin, yet crispy crust. Went in for a quick take out! Really good pizza & customer service! We had it after 5 hours and it still tasted really good. Not a big pizza fan but I liked this one!

Another local pizza joint I've visited in my time living in LES. Sauce is more robust than Uncle Sam's and the crust a little crunchier which I appreciate. Good spot for the late night bar crowd.

I ordered on Seamless and called because the pizza was 90 mins late and counting. The guy in the phone argued that I was STUPID and MY FAULT for ordering on Seamless???!!! I explained the owners of the business had engaged with them as delivery service providers and he told me "you're stupid, not my problem" and hung up!!!! OMG. Never. Order. From. This. Pizzeria!!!!!

I ordered one large pizza pie, Buffalo wings and garlic knots. I was very unhappy with my food. The pizza was very thin. Like the dollar pizza you get. The buffalo wings were not buffalo wings. They were regular wings and they looked old.

Came here to get a small slice and found a gem... they have a great pizza with refried beans in it and it was surprisingly good. Def check them out if I want a quick fix!!! Friendly staff and clean!!!

New to this area and was in search late last night for some pizza. Not just any plain old $1 pizza but for something that was worth my money. Came across square pizza ordered their buffalo chicken slice with ranch dressing and omg (amazing!) put it this way i am leaving this review and having my second buffalo slice at the same time! 2 days in a row! I paid under $7 for a delicious crispy buffalo chicken slice and a huge 20oz bottle of snapple. Im satisfied :)the owner is a real sweetheart! Thank you Jose for your great customer service and your personal touch! He allowed me to try his veggie slice pizza and it is a MUST try!Quit searching for your new pizza place DONOT wait any longer!
