Srinagar Indian Cuisine - Review - Narberth - Philadelphia - The Infatuation
"After the evening Paoli-Thorndale trains stop at Narberth, a handful of smart commuters go directly around the corner to Srinigar for their take-out orders of comforting butter chicken, garlic naan, and mango lassis. While those may be the best selling items, the aromatic biryani or spicy hakka-style noodle dishes are also worth the stop. Don’t let the lackluster dining room fool you—the service is friendly, the food is fresh, and it’s a welcome, flavorful addition to Narbeth’s tiny restaurant row.
We like all the breads and anything in a rich sauce, like the saag paneer and malai kofta. The tandoor dishes tend to be overcooked and under-browned so are less compelling. BYOB for a relaxed family dinner or weeknight date, or start perfecting a takeout order of your own.
Food Rundown
Chicken 65
The ultimate comfort food, Srinagar’s Chicken 65 is a spicy and craveable classic rendition with large chunks of chicken and potatoes marinated with spices, dried chile and curry leaves.

Butter Chicken
Our server said this is the best seller, and for good reason. Like much of the menu, it is rich with Northern-Indian style cream sauce, but the tomato and aroma of toasted spices offset the heaviness with freshness. This is a must-order to share.
Hakka Noodles
Too few Philly restaurants lean into Indo-Chinese dishes. While noodles and fried rice are a small section of Srinigar’s menu, the hakka noodles (veggie, chicken or shrimp) are a fun addition to any group meal.
