Under new management near Wright Park, this Stadium District spot leans into Thai home cooking—basil chicken with fried egg, noodles, and curries. Handy for pre‑film bites by the Grand Cinema or a park picnic.

Wonderful food that’s Very tasty! I love it hot and 4/5 was really perfect. My mouth was burning in a good way!

Google
Got takeout pad see ew, crab wontons, and crispy chicken. COST $50. Crab wontons were cold. Crispy chicken insanely dry. But the worst was the pad see ew. They give it to you in a tiny box with a couple pieces of chicken for $15!!!! Absolute ripoff. My 120lbs wife ate it all and barely felt full. Tried to take pics of the box to give some context of the size. Insane it cant even fill her up. Wont ever come back

I've been to many different Asian cuisine restaurants, in most they will sacrifice the authenticity of flavor to cater to American taste buds or to cut costs. This is NOT one of those places. Every item has the full flavor of authentic Thai food, even the specialty beverages such as Thai iced coffee are strong and have the full flavor as they should be, the peanut sauce is made in house and is delightful. The sweet and sour sauce is also made in house and tastes like no other. If you like authentic fresh Thai food, with amazing customer service this is the place to go.

Google
The Path Thai was delicious, with a fresh taste of lemon grass and a generous amount of chicken. The panang was richly flavorful with a perfect balance of lemon grass. The shrimp fresh rolls were fresh and tasty and the satay dipping sauce was perfect, among the best I've ever had. I had take out and the owners were friendly and gracious.

Google
Perfect spot for takeout. The Tom Kha soup was the fan favorite-perfectly sour! The pineapple fried rice had a unique taste to it. Good size serving of tofu and chicken.

Google
The FIRST thing I noticed was the delicious aroma as I entered. Tommy took my order and was very friendly and asked me exactly all the right questions for my order. I ordered Tacoma Supergreens with chicken and brown rice.. It was served on a tray with silverware to my table. EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS, and cooked just right ( vegetables were tender, not mushy), the chicken was so flavorful, and the brown rice was the best I have had at any restaurant. I was given a sample of wantons with cream cheese and crab, and I could have just stuffed myself with those: crispy, creamy-cheesy, and crab!! I just wish they were a larger establishment.

Google
Try this place out! Such amazing and authentic Thai food! The new owners are just the sweetest. They just recently bought the place, so go swing by and say hi and eat some yummy food. Even my picky 3 year old ate everything! We got a lot of food and loved it all. Also, their Thai tea is so good!

August 2, 2025 First time in. Owner was really nice. Food was GR8!!! Wife had Paht Khee Maow (Drunken Noodles) & i had shrimp fresh spring rolls with fresh made peanut sauce & Chicken Basil Fried Rice. We both had Iced Thai tea.

Yelp
Incredibly tasty food Very reasonably priced Clean restaurant Super friendly staff (I think they were the owners)

Yelp
A solid choice for pad thai in Tacoma's stadium district. Owner took my order. He is super friendly and eager to please! They have a big selection of sodas. Pad thai came piping hot, and a good portion in my to-go box. I ordered 4/5 spice and it was definitely spicy! Spice level became more manageable as my noodles cooled down. Not the most authentic pad thai I've had but still tasty. Lunch order came with 3 gyoza and a soda. With tax and tip, this meal was ~$20. I wish I had asked for some utensils so that I could stop at the park and have a picnic, the weather was great. Ambiance is quaint, simple, and plain. The location is very small with limited parking!

Yelp
Service: you order at the front and pick your food up when dining in. Cutlery and spices are next to the register, bus yourself up when you leave. Easy peasy. Friendly staff. Food: delicious, I like that when I ask for level 4/5 spice they give it. All fresh ingredients.

Yelp
Found this restaurant near Tacoma General,, great reviews so i checked it out. Ordered my favorite Thai meal...Basel Fried Rice with chicken and tofu. It was so good and spicy. i enjoyed it. I also ordered the fresh Rolls - they were okay but very fresh. A great contrast to the hot rice dish. Service was nice. Parking is very unique. It took me a minute to figure it out. You definitely need to be creative.

Yelp
We ordered the pad Thai with shrimp and the panang curry with chicken both spice level 2. Which for a white girl was pretty spicy, my lips were numb after I finished. The pad Thai was very tangy and sweet tasting. Not what I am used to for pad thai, my husband liked it though. The panang curry was delicious, though the chicken got over cooked, I'm assuming in delivery when it was cooked and out in a container it probably just over cooked in the hot broth b/c it was still VERY warm When we got it being delivered, which to me Means great service. Would like to try some other dishes at another time here so I'd say worth going back. Thanks for the delicious dinner

Yelp
As always so good here. It's a sunny Saturday and all is well in the neighborhood. We were out doing yardwork and house cleaning. So we got hungry NOW! Came down and got hot fresh food. Hubby with fried tofu and Masaman curry. It's so good here!!!! I had pad see Mau with chicken, mushroom, bamboo shoot etc wide noodles. Same sauce as Pad see Ewe. Sooo good. Now our bellies are full and prob gonna nap lmao but need to do more work. So till next time. Thank you ladies.

Yelp
I have only ordered through delivery apps here as we have tried dining in but the parking is a bit too difficult to get into. However, I will say that their take out portion is generous and delicious! They also do a great job of packing orders, no spills or messes! And they actually read your notes on delivery apps, which is pretty rare but highly appreciated! I have ordered their pineapple fried rice, phad see ew, rama noodles, and kuay teow kau gai and have not been disappointed. All of these dishes have that delightful wok char taste. They also are very accurate on spice levels so stick with the level that you ideally want and you will get it. I get my orders on spice level 4 and 5 and it is perfect level of spiciness while also being able to taste the flavors of the dish (not just drenched in pepper flakes, they cook the spices into the dishes). I ordered their pineapple tropical lemonade which was good, I'm glad it wasn't too sweet but definitely needs a bit more flavor. I do hope to dine in but at the moment, I'm very satisfied with their take out game.

Yelp
We love a review update that remains five stars! I can't believe that it's already been over a year since I've had Stadium Thai. What?! This is yet another delivery review, but I can't believe it's been so long. For Father's Day, my fiancé just wanted to have a relaxing evening and order dinner in and was craving Thai. Both of the spots that he normally would've chosen were closed so I suggested Stadium Thai. Happy to report that he was satisfied with everything that we ordered! We got the crispy garlic chicken (his recent fave), penang curry, and crab rangoon. He loved his garlic chicken and the penang curry was delicious. Lots of flavor, right amount of spice, and it was creamy rather than being super thin and watery. The crab rangoon were also delicious and a collective favorite of ours. Stadium Thai sort of fell off my radar but I won't let that happen again - hoping next time we can try them at the actual restaurant rather than delivery.

Yelp
Super nice guy working the register with his wife cooking. New owners. Great location right across from the park. Drunken noodles were good but the Pad Thai was sweet and almost inedible for me - not how I like my Pad Thai.
google avatar

Crystal H.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that the people here are so lovely and kind. I had eaten here before and ordered the pad thai and it was great. This time was the green curry. It was sad. Veggies were cold and raw. The curry was watery and flavorless. The rice was packed into a tiny container and looked pre packed. It was expensive but could not eat it... waste of my money.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a very good, small restaurant that has reliable, delicious food. The American Thai staples are easy and tasty. Grandma's section at the end of the menu include some very tasty dishes that I haven't encountered at a majority of local Thai restaurants. Prices are average if slightly cheaper than my normal orders.

Yelp
This place is a gem in the rough. The owners are new, but the chef is the same. They're a married couple, she's Thai, he's gringo. Been married 20+years!! They bought the place from the owners who retired. They're struggling a little bit with finding their own way I think. Sounds like Tacoma isn't very kind to their Restaurateurs... it's crazy expensive to change items on a menu, that's not right! Changing up your menu should be a joy not an onus. Do better Tacoma health department! Ok, rant over.... The food was good, authentic and tasty. Be warned the pad thai is super sweet and soupy... unless you are ready for this is not a welcome surprise (tho to be fare we were warned) All of the food we got was fresh and tasty. Unfortunately it was served in plastic containers... not sure if this was to save on doing dishes, or they have just always done it. I was a bit disappointed by that, at least switching to paper would be a more eco-friendly option. Probably cheaper too!! The ambiance was cute, it could have quite the clientele if they did some social media adverts and tweaked some of the simple stuff they were doing. The owner, Darrell I think he said his name was, is brilliant! He just needs some good marketing and YouTube university to see him through. Solid fare and authentic food. I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
first off let's just put it out there - this place was good till tonight. The panang curry is like a watered down salty soup. The spring rolls are full of iceberg lettuce and not much more. The amount of rice offered with the order of curry does not measure up. The peanut sauce is also very watered down. This food is awful.

Yelp
Hands down the best Thai food in Tacoma. I've tried them all. Even having it ubered it's great food. You don't go wrong here. Do it!!!

Yelp
Great customer service and amazing food - veggies came out fresh and perfectly cooked. I would definitely try this awesome place again when I'm in the area.

Yelp
The food is fresh, spicy and delicious! I got the Pad Thai and Pas Sew Ew 4/5 and my mouth was happily burning. Just like I like it!

Yelp
The FIRST thing I noticed was the delicious aroma as I entered. Tommy took my order and was very friendly and asked me exactly all the right questions for my order. Yelp
Things that need improvement. Don't put lemon in the soup, let the customer do it. It should taste like soup and not just lemon. Actually, if it's a condiment just leave it up to the customer. Work on the broth too.
google avatar

Isaac T.

Yelp
The portions are generous and it tastes like good home cooked Thai. My Basil kra pao could have used more spice and sauce, even at 3 / 5 spicy it felt like it was held back for western audiences. This was easily fixed with the seasoning sauce and chili flakes available at the table.

Angela E.

Yelp
Red Curry is so good!!!!! I got takeout. Once I got home, I took a bite and then ended up eating it all while standing in my kitchen.
google avatar

Micah P.

Yelp
My new favorite Thai spot! Got the fried chicken, parang curry, and app sampler. For the price the food you get is very good Only downside was that the fried foods did not taste very fresh. Might've been cause I ordered takeout though. Will definitely return and try more of what they offer
google avatar

Brenda B.

Yelp
The chicken pad thai little sour for my tastes and reminds me of grocery store packaged pad thai. The tea came with a paper straw, I do not use these because they fall apart and I've seen studies that show they are harmful to our health.

Yelp
We recently used Stadium Thai to place an order for an office luncheon for about 25 people. I know for small businesses large orders can be difficult due to daily orders at peak time. Stadium Thai did an absolutely amazing job. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. They had our order ready in time for the lunch time pick up and it was definitely made fresh. Everything we had was delicious. Our office enjoyed Pad See Ew, Panang Curry, House Basil Fried Rice, Bangkok Basil and assorted appetizers. On top of that the cost was very reasonable. We are so happy we found this gem. Thank you so much for assistance with ordering, easy experience, and tasty food.
google avatar

Yelp
The best fried rice I've ever had at restaurant. They got the smokey wokhei (dragon breath) flavor from the wok. The onion, green beans, and red peppers were perfectly fried to retain their crunchiness. This truly taste like street food you'd find in Asia. Fast ordering Cozy dining space
google avatar

Arie L.

Yelp
The sweetest Thai ladies cooking a storm in the back of this kitchen. I ordered the pad Thai and fried rice and my friend ordered the garlic chicken and another chicken dish. Truly the most authentic Thai food I have eaten since I've come back from Thailand. I love the Thai street style this eatery goes after. I couldn't adjust the spice level since we were eating with toddlers. But next time I will definitely order the sandwich and the hainanese chicken. I look forward to coming back and dining here often. The restaurant does not have many tables to sit at, so fair warning. Also, bathroom is in the back of the restaurant. Lastly, parking is limited, you'll have to find street parking.

Yelp
Pros: have only tried the prawn spring rolls and their peanut butter sauce is , presentation is plate is nice and they are big (that's what she said) Cons: expensive almost 12$ for two spring rolls

Scott K.

Yelp
The best Thai food in Tacoma, period. If you want spicy watch out, this is real Thai here. The interior is no frills but very comfortable.

Merilee S.

Yelp
I ordered the fresh roll and when I dipped it into the peanut sauce both of them fell apart at different intervals. Very disappointing. Lately every time I order them they have done this and there was only 1 small shrimp in each roll

Kel G.

Yelp
Just ate here with my husband for the first time. I had the red curry & he had the Tacoma super green. The Food is absolutely delicious. The owner & employees are wonderful. I'm grateful. Update: went back the next day & the food was watered down and not near as good as the first time, but still some good flavors. So I'm not sure about how consistent they are. Would still recommend though.
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
Not good, the first time I ordered the phad Thai and the chicken was extremely rubbery but the noodles were good, the second time, I ordered the "beef salad" the beef was rubbery, almost inedible, and it was served with red onion and cilantro over huge chunks of Raw green cabbage, no dressing just some dry chili situation on the top........ I took three bites and threw it out.
google avatar

Natalie H.

Yelp
The food is delicious for a little restaurant. Had pad thai, curry, Tom yum. It was all so flavorful and yummy.
google avatar

Chase P.

Yelp
This place is amazing, it's the most authentic tasting Thai food I've eaten since visiting Thailand. We had the Tom Kha with fried tofu, the Rama noodles with fried tofu, and panang curry with fried tofu. The employees/owners are wonderful and we love this place. We will definitely be back whenever we're in Tacoma.
google avatar

Yelp
My office is very close to this restaurant so naturally I was very excited when they opened up. I've picked up lunch here a number of times and have always been happy. The owners are so sweet and try so hard to be accommodating. They even asked what they can do to improve when they first opened! So far I've had the pad see ew, Panang curry and the red curry along with the fried spring rolls. The spring rolls are always fresh and crispy delicious. Although I've had better Thai food elsewhere I feel like based on the overall experience they deserve a five star. I'm sure I'll be ordering from them consistently in the future

Yelp
Saw about this new spot in Sue Kidds DineinPierceCounty website and decided to check it out. I got takeout and order the Pad Thai (vegan), the basil dish (with tofu instead of meat) and a side of rice. I appreciated that they were eager to accommodate my vegan request and their willingness to make any dish vegan. Not everyone does that! The tofu basil tasted great. The Pad Thai was ok. There weren't any bean sprouts, or crushed peanuts and the flavor was interesting. Not having the flavor that a grilled meat or the fish sauce give makes me think it would probably taste great when prepared their normal way. The staff was SO friendly and kind that I'm going to come back. My friends have tried the curries and loved them. Also excited to try them for breakfast!!!
google avatar

Heidi S.

Yelp
We've ordered takeout from Stadium Thai several times since they opened about a month ago. We've tried the following items: B6 - Chicken congee with poached egg SU4 - House rice soup GR3 - Crispy chicken GR4 - Basil chicken ST1 - Pad Thai (we added tofu to our pork pad thai) Each of these dishes is something we would order again - in fact, we've had the pad thai and basil chicken twice already. The staff have been friendly and helpful, the food delicious, well prepared, and nicely packaged for carry out. 5 stars!
google avatar

Tiffany P.

Yelp
A hidden gem - I called in for take-out from about 7min away, when I got there food was ready & service was fabulous. The lady was so sweet :') The food was perfect. Packaging was convenient and pretty spill proof (no styrofoam if that matters to you). I got the pad thai with spice level 3 and it was just right. Gyoza was perfectly crispy. Definitely would recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful!!!!' Our new lunch stop! The Tacoma Greens is AMAZING YUMMY. Their Tom Yum is TOTALLY TASTY.
google avatar

Chanda R.

Yelp
This place was really dirty and dingy the atmosphere was ugly no good decor, I brought my BF and he was like "will we be ok if we eat here?" I have NEVER had bad Thai food until I came here. The massaman curry was watery with hard undercooked potatoes, way too sweet and the chicken was hard as a rock. I also ordered pad thai noodles, it was way too sweet with no veggies or peanuts, it was all disgusting. I didn't even finish this food..a waste of money. Truly a disappointment

Jessica D.

Yelp
Order pad Thai and fried rice. Pad Thai tastes like Ketchup and vinegar. Very sour tasting. No extra flavor to fried rice very bland. Won't be going back. But wanted to try and see if it was worth money. Not really. Had to add a ton of flavor to it because was so off .
google avatar

Jared R.

Yelp
Pad thai was mushy with dry chicken and rubbery shrimp. This place should be ashamed to represent their country in such a poor way.
google avatar

Sierra R.

Yelp
Delicious! Very helpful and quick service. Food was exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely recommend and go again

Oscar M.

Yelp
Decent service and prices. Portions are great. The Penang is bland and the milk seems curdled like they scalded the heck out of it. Needs some improvement in this area. Otherwise meh. Not great.

Yelp
Post Covid... We are cautiously tipping our toes back into the dining scene as the comfort level of both of us expands to include going places and doing things. I suggested, as the partner with a more liberal view of 'safe' and the person going to work every day in schools and catching all the things there... suggested a compromise where we get take out from awesome local places every Friday and we alternate picking places. So this was the first of the new regime... Stadium Thai is in a little spot near Stadium Thriftway and had great food. Our order was fast, easy, friendly and delicious. We ordered the basil fried rice, appetizer platter, and Grandma's Chicken and it was all so good. The fried rice had the amazing grill spice also known as 'wok her' and the fried appetizers made my dining partner really happy. Also the wonderful flavor of the Chicken from the 'Grandma' menu makes us want to order all the things from there next time. Great, local place. Good food. Please go there and enjoy.

Elliot J.

Yelp
The food is great and has a lot of veggie friendly options. It's fairly priced as well.
google avatar

Alexandria M.

Yelp
Love this yummy charming place! Owner is so adorable ! I love their noodle dishes and service.

Heather K.

Yelp
I've ordered take out from this place a couple times now and dang is the food amazing! I've had the pad see ew and basil chicken. Food is delicious, portions are the perfect size, and it was easy to call in and pick up within a reasonable amount of time. There's seating with maybe 4 or so tables.
google avatar

Leah C.

Yelp
The food was okay, flavor was there in my pad see ew but the veggies weren't cooked at all and my Vietnamese coffee was chalky

Fi R.

Yelp
I tried Stadium Thai for the first time today. I ordered crab wontons and pineapple fried rice they were both delicious. The wontons were crispy even after the drive home. And enjoyed a Thai iced coffee to top it off. This is the best Thai food I've had since visiting Thailand, definitely the best I've found in the north end of Tacoma. Highly recommend and will order again.
google avatar

Morgan S.

Yelp
Food was ok, not special but not awful either but they didn't send any utensils or any of the sauces which meant the food ended up being hard to eat and kinda bland. Def not the worst I ever had but probably won't be trying it again.
