Great food here! Be prepared to bring a big appetite. We got the chicharrones and the special poblano soup for appetizers which were really good. But the chicharrones filled us up pretty quickly. For entrees we got the brisket and the special braised short ribs. Both were good but I liked the brisket a lot better. The place is nice with cool decorations. Valet parking or you can find street parking pretty easily as well. We will be back for sure maybe for happy hour next time mon-fr 4-7pm.

I had a great time, a very good meal and excellent service at my most recent visit to Stampede 66. It was my first time to try this “modern Texas”

Food kind of tasteless and the evening menu leaves alot to be desired. Good drinks a bit pricey tho. Nice atmosphere but I wouldn't pay to dine here again.

I'll be honest, I'm pretty surprised by all of the low reviews on here. I'm usually one to use reviews to scope out amazing places like this (this time I was taken out to eat). I don't normally dine unless the reviews are above a 4.5. I'm picky to say the least. This place deserves a higher rating than it is given. The duck and mule I ordered was the best mule I had in a long time, served in an authentic copper cup. The appetizers set the course for the whole meal, every bite of everything I ate during this three course meal was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this place, and I will give it the 5 stars it deserves.

This place is beautiful, and the Passion Margarita is a show stopper. Everyone around us stopped to watch this creation being prepared.

Quirky restaurant with great food in the downtown area. Staff was great and very helpful.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The restaurant is a beautiful space. All the staff were friendly and attentive. We started with the trio of dips. It was so good! The chips were amazing! The fried chicken was very sweet. Overly so. It came with these awesome little tater tots though. The chicken fried buffalo steak was served over mashed potatoes with chili (yes, chili). The brisket was good, but the mac and cheese was almost inedible. They brought me a cute plate with cubes of some fruit jelly for my birthday. It was good. We were not told any specials, so I'm not sure if they had any. I will probably go back and give them a second chance. Maybe we were just there on a bad night.

I thought the food was okay. The trio of dip appetizer was really good and the drinks were great! The margarita is a show within itself, they make it in front of you and it's really cool to watch. I had the chicken tamales which were okay but I'm not a tamale fan. I also had the honey fried Chicken. The presentation was great, it comes in a big tin with biscuits. I thought the food was just okay but the experience was pretty awesome.
