Google
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! First of all it's a top notch bakery, no denying that, but they also have more than just delicious croissants, danishes, and breads. They have breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches and ice cream sandwiches! Heads up, there can be quite a line but plan ahead and be patient. It's worth the wait.

Google
Delightful croissants. I had a traditional and a chocolate croissant. Both had a delightful crispy exterior and excellent flavor. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome. Glad to have a bakery I can walk to! Great coffee and pastries 🤤

Ronda Bliey

Google
Prosciutto-gruyere croissant is too good. Great pastries. A bit pricey, but worth the splurge. Small operation, but they will be closing soon to expand. Order ahead online if you are in a hurry. Best bakery in North Seattle? Very possible

Google
My favorite croissants in all of Seattle. Pistachio blackberry and chocolate hazelnut are my top picks. The cream cheese Danish has unique flavor. Breakfast sandwiches are really good, but seem overpriced at $9+; however they are made with very high quality ingredients. The everything bagel croissant is also notable.

Jesse Lieberman

Google
I've had all sorts of new pastries here that have all been excellent. The croissants are the star of the show as are the sandwiches. My only wish is they had a few more sandwich options, they are also a little pricey at 9 dollars a pop.

Google
Love love their bagels and cookies. My favorite is the chocolate sandwich cookie and they are just so perfect. Everyone working there are very friendly and genuinely nice to kids. It’s tiny and sort of out of nowhere in terms of location but we will always go there to pick up bagels!!!

Google
Anything but standard! It's phenomenal! Every ingredient is delicious. And the front counter guy is hilarious and generous. It's so hard to find a good bakery in the shoreline/northgate area. A new favorite place, will be back again and again! :)

Yelp
(Updated to 4 stars for just the bagels and cream cheese- they are great! I would avoid the specialty sandwiches and just go for bagels and creamy cheese. We like the chive) 3.5 stars I got the Kingfisher bagel (hot smoked salmon) and the salmon was pretty fishy. I get it when it's a little fishy, but it was hard for me to overcome that fishy taste/smell (and I eat salmon a lot). That mixed with too much caramelized onion cream cheese and hot sauce was a mishmash of flavors that I felt did not go well together. The bagel itself was fine, a little hard but given the flavors I unfortunately did not finish it. My husband got the lox (cold smoked) & bagel -- his tasted good. Very classic flavors that go well together -- cream cheese, cucumbers capers etc. Maybe safer bets are the way to go here.

Yelp
I had my hopes up for Zylberschtein's. Unfortunately, they were dashed, and I was left wanting more. My wife and I ordered: The Reuben The Lox Bagel I'm only going to speak on behalf of the Reuben that I had. They ran out of fries (at 12 PM, what?), so I ordered a Mac salad as my side. The Mac salad was alright - a little flavorless, but it served as a nice refreshing side dish. The sandwich though - I felt parts of the sandwich were really dry, and the flavor profile was inconsistent. It was like a surprise - some parts of the sandwich were solid, with the crunch of the sauerkraut or the cut of cheese complimenting the meat, and other bites were just dry. Overall, not the worst sandwich, but far from the best. I think the real heartache here is the price. We paid $45 for a sandwich and a bagel, and that's, in my humble opinion, just not right. Especially given the quality of the sandwiches too. I know inflation here is insane, but the price here is overwhelming. We've knocked this off our bucketlist, but unfortunately, it will remain off our list of go-to sandwich places.

Lelan K.

Yelp
Bought a Club & a 4oz Reuben sandwich to go for $44.04. (I don't tip for take-out window orders ever) The Club was good, the Reuben not quite right - the flavor blend was lacking, bread - so-so - quality meat ! short on kraut. - not impressed - The sandwiches come with a pickle slice and a side - We choose Fries & Potato salad -/ the fries are 5 star ! - insanely good ! - I would go back for them. / the salad was very tart = too much so.

Jacqueline R.

Yelp
I'm sorry Zylberschteins but what happened? The bagels are still great but the breakfast sandwich fell off. There is lettuce on an egg and cream cheese bagel sandwich and it extremely salty. Yall used to be the best but got rid of croissant sandwiches and spinach? I hate to say it because I've worked customer service but the gal taking our order was very confused, and held up the line which made us feel uncomfortable. We'll still go for the bagels and lattes but just not breakfast sandwiches!

Tai D.

Yelp
If you are looking for a solidly good bagel, then here's a great spot. They're fresh and just enough chewy. I got a pastrami sandwich that I thought was tasty (with a side of coleslaw and a pickle) but probably not in my price point for a simple lunch. They were fast with the order and there is a nice outdoor area to sit.

Holly W.

Yelp
Best bagels all around! Small family business that brings a special spot for locals to enjoy. I highly recommend this deli.

Laura V.

Yelp
Such delicious high quality food. Located in a small strip mall, there is a covered area with tables for dining. You walk up to a window to place your order. A list of today's specialties is posted. Hard not to get distracted by the many great quality bakery items on display as you walk up. Josh is a real hands on owner. I have seen him working alongside his employees, to make sure service is flowing. I have had the Frankel sandwich many times. The pastrami on this sandwich is so tender and a delicious meld of flavors for a breakfast sandwich. The Skokie was a very filling sandwich. Corned beef, coleslaw, and Swiss cheese on our house-made rye bread with Reuben dressing. Bronx delight, has 4oz each of house smoked corned beef, pastrami and beef salami on house-made rye bread with house-made mustard. The combination of meats makes this a well balanced and huge sandwich, that is usually tasty. Lox and bagels are a favorite, with soft lox. Chicken salad and tuna salad are wonderful and brings back memories of eating these sandwiches as a child. Their version is much higher quality than the sandwiches of my past. Have tried so many of their baked goods. Challah, bagels, cake, cookies, ruglah. Rare to find a place where they shine in both baked goods and non bakery items. I love knowing that the quality of the food will be excellent. As someone who enjoys eating, I do not mind paying more for good food. Recommend coming here hungry and leaving happy. Just an observation; the customers here are a more demanding crowd, so be patient when you are behind them in line. Occasionally they have live music, which gives a festive atmosphere.

Yelp
-1 star for the price -1 star for the food It's my fault for living in NYC for 16 years. My expectations are high when you say it's a Jewish deli or a bagel shop. My concerns: - The cost: 18.75 for a bagel with lox has got to be a joke. It was a small and otherwise *fine* sandwich. Nothing special. Also $5.95 for a simple bagel with plain cream cheese. All in $27 for two small bagels. - The size of the bagels. Less than 3" in diameter. Tiny bagels compared to what I know to be a normal bagel. - No indoor seating for the price. Gotta weather the line outside, and then only one heat lamp was on in the curb side shelter. We had to ask for a table to be wiped down because they were all filthy and ignored by the staff. - Execution - I asked for toasted and it barely saw any heat, let alone had a toasted crunch. - Everything Bagel has caraway seeds, an unfortunate recipe choice. The good - bagels came out fast (because they were barely toasted...) and the staff were friendly. Overall, I can't recommend. I'll be bringing my bagels from NYC and freezing them like I always have.

Gordon R.

Yelp
I was really hoping this was going to be a slam dunk since it came highly recommended. Unfortunately I think it boiled down to the chick taking the orders not running on all cylinders. We had to repeat our entire order because she clearly wasn't listening the first time, and when we got our food the order was wrong. Ordered the Frankel on a garlic bagel, got it on an everything. Wife doesn't eat caraway seeds so I took it back, and when we got the second try there was drastically less meat on it. I wasn't about to wait another 5 min so we just ate it anyway.

Ash N.

Yelp
Five stars for the everything bagel & shmear! Best I've found so far as an east coaster living in Seattle. Bagel was fresh and the everything seasoning was perfect. I was glad to see it was a generous size and helping of shmear too. I wanted to try the lox bagel sandwich but couldn't justify paying the $19 price for that. Docking a star because of the service. They packed the bagel loosely into a paper bag so it was a mess when I went to eat it. Melty cream cheese all over the bagel and inside of the bag. Why not just wrap the bagel in paper like everywhere else?? Also it took over 30 mins (!!) to get our order - a toasted bagel plus matzo ball soup (which we ordered frozen) - how is that even possible lol. A heads up about the wait time from the cashier would've gone a long way. Upon hearing our name called, we went to retrieve the order but the person at the window immediately walked away (like literally called our name and waited five seconds before giving up???) and so we had to wait another 5 mins while we attempted to flag down another worker to hand us our order. I'm generally pretty forgiving but the customer service was just weird and id expect better for the money. I'd go again but try to order ahead and put my bagel and shmear together at home to avoid the hassle

Dina G.

Yelp
Really wanted to like this place, but the food is mediocre, and the service is pretty morose. Made a special trip from south seattle to try it and I would not do it again.

Meralina M.

Yelp
The bagel breakfast sandwich is so good! They also let you change how the egg is cooked, so if you don't like runny yolks like me, it is really nice that they don't mind! The eggs taste so fresh and everything is pretty flavorful!

Aaron L.

Yelp
I've been meaning to try this place for awhile after hearing a lot of good things. You order at the front and wait outside for your order, so everything is to go. Unfortunately I was highly disappointed by the food. First of all it's very expensive for what you get. I ordered a Chicken Salad sandwich and it was almost $18. The taste was very average and lacked flavor and seasoning and the bread was hard. Simply put this place is another overrated restaurant in the Seattle restaurant. Just not worth it.

Alana K.

Yelp
Okay, yes, they are very delicious, but I almost choked when our two bagels with cream cheese and a donut came to $20 pre-tip. And then I got angry when we were in the car and my jalapeno bagel looked so small and was too stuffed with cream cheese to eat on the road and I wasn't sent away with any napkins. But then I forgot all my woes when I finally was able to sink my teeth into that delicious mess because goddamn it was so perfect I cried tears of gratitude. Would I do it all over again? Yes, yes I would.

Yelp
A few years back, I tried this place and gave it two stars with a scathing review of how they messed up that one order multiple times, and I had waited for a very long time to get the food. We waited so long, my wife told me to never order from here again, unless we had nothing better to do with our lives and we thought overpaying for mediocre food was a cool thing to do. So this time, I'm by myself and I wanted lox and I wanted to give them another chance. I go up and place my order; Lox bagel with a pastry. When I was paying, my phone number popped up so it looked like i was in the system already, guessing from last time? Who knows. So I'm waiting around and its been over 20 minutes. The three people ahead of me get their orders and the two people behind me also get their orders. Some of those orders before/after were larger than mine and some were small, like a cup of coffee or whatever it was. I speak with the lady at the register about my order and she looks at me confused and walks back to the kitchen. She comes back and tells me that they made it and it was put out and mentioned that maybe someone else took it with their order. I tell her that I didn't hear my name get called or see the food at the pickup window as I was standing near the window which is to the left side of the order window. I also tell her that the pastry I ordered wasn't even there. Just so you all know, that pastry I ordered was right next to the register at the front window where you place your order. That should of been prepped/given immediately She apologizes and they work on my order of two items, a pre-made pastry and a Lox bagel. So overall it took what... 30-40 minutes to get those items? I make a mention of my negative experience the first time and how this is becoming a repeat and asked what's going on... They weren't even trying to make amends for f'ing up a second time. I finally get my items and start driving home. I'm holding the bagel thinking why does this feel lopsided.. Ah two very thickly cut zucchini slices thats why.. At time same time, I'm also wishing the lox was at least as thick as this zucchini slices... This bagel was rushed. The bagel was small... real small. The amount of lox.. laughable. This is a good example of overpriced food we continue to see in Seattle. I wanted to turn the car back to return this piece of overpriced.... but I was really hungry from waiting and being neglected. I get home and eat this sandwich while also being annoyed at myself for going to this place. I also read other peoples reviews and the response by management... I'm a big supporter of small business but when the leadership doesn't seem to care about patrons, there is no reason for patrons to be supportive. I'm going to blazing bagels going forward because this place has been an epic fail 2/2 times. I felt like a 4th class immigrant here... I'll say this again, I want to like this place.. I really do... but its been a few years and they just aren't improving... :(

Yelp
Food was amazing, got some really inspired beef and corn stew thing. Spicy and awesome, great bagels too. Kind of expensive. Still delicious

Yelp
It was time to replenish the freezer's bagel supply and the Spouse was planning to be in North Seattle which meant I could put a takeout order for Zylberschtein's in. My four stars are just for bagel related items even though I have had other things here. As some have mentioned in reviews, the prices are a bit on the high side for the portions and they seem to have issues with availability of items, which I wasn't exempted from in my bagel order today. I placed an online order for a half dozen bagels, everything and pumpernickel. I wanted scallion cream cheese, but frankly $12 for cream cheese is silly, so I ordered an extra bagel with cream cheese to eat today. When Spouse arrived with the glutinous goods, he let me know they had been out of pumpernickel so I had all Everything. Not the worst news, but a minor annoyance. Z's bagels have a good chewy texture and you don't need to toast them to enjoy (a good sign for a bagel). Z's REALLY coats their bagels with Everything seasoning (I could have bottled what was left in the bag). The one complaint is the coating is slightly over baked, which doesn't impact the actual bagel, just some of the spices. These are still really good bagels. Service is okay, nothing to comment on and ambiance isn't a thing. You get your goods and enjoy elsewhere.

J R.

Yelp
Third time tried to get lunch here and out of chicken salad. Why bother put it on the menu. The only response is come in the morning before all our online orders get them ...,uh ok. bye!

Kate M.

Yelp
Nomnom nom. Our go to place for bagels, Jewish holidays, and local lunch. Quality ingredients, delicious food. We love Josh's brisket for the holidays especially! My daughter loves the donuts! We also appreciate how committed Z's is to the local neighborhood.

Kameron H.

Yelp
Save yourself about 50% and go to Market House Meats instead. Their portions, price, and sandwich are flat out better. $30 for a basic Reuben is borderline criminal

Alexander H.

Yelp
Second day in a row Zylberstein's butchered my breakfast bagel. It's a $15 bagel, it shouldn't look like the guy who cut it was drunk. They forgot the hazelnut lattes I ordered and then told me when they were finally done that they don't offer hazelnut. Sure, maybe say something when I place the order. Either the training is terrible or the staff just doesn't give a damn. Whichever one, I'm done.

Alicia R.

Yelp
The bagels are a mess!! I don't understand the hype. I had sesame seeds all over my kitchen, just from cutting and toasting the bagel. Much better bagels at bagel oasis, IMHO.

Brianna B.

Yelp
This is my local place and I've been visiting since it was only a bakery. Over the years I've enjoyed the food I've had, the staff is always very friendly. I really like the bagels and they're always my go to when hosting a brunch. The sandwiches are pricey but very tasty. My biggest frustration is that service is always slow. I recently ordered a loaf of bread unsliced and waited about 12 minutes. Ordering pastries or things that are ready to go shouldn't be taking that long. I'd visit more frequently but I can only stop by when I have plenty of time spare. TLDR: food is good, service is friendly but slow

Joanna P.

Yelp
the 2stars r for the service only. Bialys should be crusty outside n airy inside. They r not here, also the onions should be chopped fine, not long strands. They are some kind of roll but not a bialy! The donuts we bought were strawberry, blueberry lemon curd, n Nutella.Another Disappointment. Greasy n doughy. Everything looks good but not nearly as good as it should be..The rye bread was passable. And again the counter help was super.

Blayne H.

Yelp
All of cookies are amazing! Bagels were so fresh and soft and eggs and salmon on top were such good quality.

Ashley M.

Yelp
I've been here twice and both have been lacking. The first time I came on a Sunday morning and got there right when they opened and none of the bagels were ready which is surprising since they open at 8am. Today I asked for clarification on a menu item and the person at the counter led me astray. I asked if the item came with lox and was assured yes so I was quite surprised when it had cooked salmon on it! The food is good but trips here always seem to leave something to be desired.

Joy P.

Yelp
the service, the flavors, the quality! it's all here (and also all over my hands having just wolfed down a 15th ave onion bagel.) the hype is real, folks! i ordered and no more than 5-8 min later, my name was being called at the side pick up window. i will mention i was here right as they opened on a friday morning and others were ready to place their orders too, so i imagine the wait times vary when they are slammed but all in all, very good experience and yummy breakfast bagel! i don't live in the vicinity but made this a stop on my way to north seattle. the menu has a wide range of options and certainly reflects many of my childhood memories including black and white cookies, so score on the nostalgia meter :) you lucky pinehurst people, you!

Cameron S.

Yelp
Great bagels with generous cream cheese. wish I could give it more stars. love going here.

Sophie M.

Yelp
I love Zylberschtein's. I highly recommend the pastrami sandwich with fries and their lox bagels. I also highly recommend the cold brew slushie, everything bagel, and onion bialy. I only gave 4 stars because I was very disappointed by the chicken salad, it tasted like it came out of a can. Overall, I will be back and love this place. Service is always amazing, and I love the ambiance of the outdoor seating patio. I highly recommend.

Eric L.

Yelp
Very good deli and bakery near Northgate. Their bagels and pastrami sandwiches receive frequent raves so I tried those items on my visit. The pastrami on rye was definitely tasty and reminiscent of NY delis I grew up visiting. I enjoyed it but it also carries NYC deli prices with smaller portions of meat - $20 for a 4oz sandwich with potato salad. There is a larger sandwich for even more. Their bagels were also very good - certainly amongst the best in Seattle, depending on what your style preference is. These are larger bagels that are crusty on the outside, chewy on the inside with not much hint of sweetness. I like these as they are not the soft, bread-like types found at the likes of Blazing Bagels, Einstein Bros. and grocery stores (bleh). Worth a visit. Definitely try the smoked meat (pastrami or corned beef), but be ready for the price tag. Service was quick and efficient through the window counter. There is a nice outdoor eating area on the side. Parking is free in the lot.

Christy R.

Yelp
I stopped by this place when I was in the area because reviews said it was the best pastrami sandwich in the world...great service and quality too. I'm sorry - I do NOT agree! Yes, the cute guy taking my order was nice and friendly but... A) In what world is $21.00 ok for a 4 oz pastrami sandwich???? B) I asked for sourdough instead of rye bread (i know, sacrilegious) and still got soggy rye bread (not even toasted) C) the only seating was outside in the parking lot...with construction going on making the cold and the noise a serious deterrent. and here's the kicker.... D) The pastrami wasn't even flavorful!!! It was bland and fatty and the only flavor was the pickles and mustard!!!! Nope - I will not be going back and unless you have 35 bucks to drop on a sandwich and a cookie (yeah, you heard me) you probably should look elsewhere for your pastrami fix.

L J.

Yelp
I've ordered from here many times the food was always a success. Not this time We ordered 2 sandwiches with sides 1 tuna melt and 1 corn beef sandwich the corn beef was fatty about 90% the tuna melt was dry with sides.1 coleslaw and 1 russian potato salad. We didn't our get sides. The worse sandwiches ever

Ronald B.

Yelp
This is a long overdue review, but it is time to A few people recommended this place to me and I've eaten here 3 times. Generally I like to go to a place a few times when they are recommended to make sure I am not screwing up the reviews in the 3 times I've been, the bagels have consistently been the same. They are so so, and cooked longer than they should have been which makes the outside very hard / burnt which hurts my teeth sometimes. I mean for Seattle it's ok bagels, but in NY or Boston, this place would likely go out of business. It's a cool shop with a solid menu, just wish the quality / recipe of their bagels was better than it is. Good luck.

Chris J.

Yelp
This is the best jewish deli kind of spot I've had in Seattle by far. Huge menu spanning loads of goods, cured meats, bagels, pastries...and everything is delicious. You might be able to find some spots with better bagels or pastrami or pastries, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a place that offers all this at the quality level Zylberschtein does especially in the North Seattle area. Some people mention having issues with service but I've never had any of that myself other than seeing that the front-of-house cashiers sometimes don't know how much of a menu item is left but they obviously check and offer sweet compensation if they're out of something too. If you're ever in the area and craving some of that jewish comfort food goodness, this is the place to go. They also frequent some farmers markets like Bellevue where you'll see one of the hardest working guys around make things like fried egg pastrami bagel sandwiches that'll hit the spot.

Cat R.

Yelp
My favorite thing about this place is the friendly owner who takes your orders. I can't stop thinking of that very expensive but perfect Reuben.

Cody C.

Yelp
I want to start with saying that I ordered this off of Uber eats, so it should be taken with a grain of salt. That being said, I'm not a connosuier of NY style delis, but I am an avid eater of Reuben sandwiches any and everywhere. The Reuben was absolutely abysmal. The sandwich should be on toasted rye, and this was on untoasted bread. Furthermore, despite costing $36, the sandwich didn't even have cheese on it. As an added kicker, the potato salad also lacked any flavor, tasting purely like boiled potatoes. I really believe in supporting local business, and I'm sure the proprietors are good people, but I literally just paid 36$ (before Uber eats fees) for a cold, untoasted sauerkraut and pastrami sandwich with a laughably small amount dressing on it.

Darce S.

Yelp
Very disappointed . I spent 87 dollars on 1 lbs. Pastrami , 1/2 lb. Of corn beef , and a matzo ball soup . Got home to see 1/2 of the meat was FAT . THE SOUP had 4 matzo balls in it. $87.00 WTF . I AM NOW AN X CUSTOMER... CMON CUT THE FAT !!!!

Christen S.

Yelp
Decided to try this deli because they had good reviews. Immediately regretted my decision when I received my food. Ordered a Ruben with no sauce (food allergy). After ordering was told they don't have sauerkraut but could sub for more potato salad (mind you Ruben's are $22 vs $20 for the other sandwiches so to really make it worth it they should have subbed for more meat). When I got my order I realized that they not only put sauce in it (so I had to scrape it off) but they gave the smallest portion of meat I've ever seen on a deli sandwich and didn't give me any additional potato salad. Can't believe I drove all the way to Seattle and paid $22 for this sad excuse of a Ruben sandwich. No one deserves to be price gouged like this especially in this economy. Save yourself the trip and don't come here.

Mark E.

Yelp
I was just introduced to this fabulous place by way of our Magnolia Farmers Market. I went there to pick up more bagels and ordered a Reuben. It one of my favorite sandwiches and I'm picky about how they are. This Reuben was by far one of the best I have ever had! So very good and super with their classic potato salad. I will definitely be back!!! NancyEllen

S H.

Yelp
It took forever for us to get a simple sandwich order. Also I asked the staff if the potato hash contained gluten and they started making a really big deal about it- in a bad way. They were like "we cannot handle a gluten allergy only an intolerance." I said I understood and then the chef was loudly talking in the background about how flour coats every surface, flour is on every utensil and he really can't accommodate anything. He was talking loudly and rudely on purpose so that I heard. It was ridiculous. All I wanted to know is if gluten was actually in one specific dish.. Edit: I'd recommend that this place label the menu - GF, DF, VG, etc and highlight risk of cross contamination or list ingredients which is pretty standard. I fully understand the difference between cross contamination, allergies, intolerance, and autoimmune diseases like Celiac's. There is a range of intolerances to gluten and you cannot just assume that everyone is Celiacs. There are plenty of other medical conditions where people avoid gluten, but some cross contamination may be manageable for them whereas it wouldn't be acceptable for someone with Celiac's. I don't need to justify my medical conditions to your chef. I just need to know standard information about a dish so that I can make my own informed choice without the judgement that I received today. There is nothing worse as a customer than being made to feel like you're being unreasonable or like you're making up a medical condition by waitstaff or a chef.

Krista L.

Yelp
Bagels were tasty. They were kind of small overall. It's a walk up window which is cute. Not a ton of spaces to sit, more of a take and go place.

Stevie H.

Yelp
Not even going to try to order with a $22-32 pastrami sandwich. For $32 you'll receive an un-toasted sandwich that's dryer than any sauce can save. Hopefully they'll be out of business before they fool more people into ordering for them.

Alex M.

Yelp
Best bagels in Seattle, hands down. Love the coffee, and the pastrami is top notch. Busy but worth it.

Bobby G.

Yelp
The first thing I noticed having worked in the food industry for 20 years, was the team of cooks working in the back. This place obviously prioritizes quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. All the reviews mentioning the friendly counter service are also correct. I ordered a sandwich of pastrami, turkey, and mustard. It was as beautiful as it was delicious. The prepared grain mustard was a nice touch, and unexpected surprise. The meats were fresh and appropriately portioned, and the rye bread was just perfect. Now, I had been wanting to eat here for some time, but could not cope with the prices. In fact, I utilized 3 separate promotions (via Uber Eats and Amex) to mitigate the cost of this lunch - which consisted of one deli sandwich, a modest chocolate chip cookie, and a canned root beer. The original total was north of $30. That said, I will most certainly be coming back. In fact, I'd say scratch kitchens with good service are worth the extra cost (within reason), and Seattle could use a whole lot more of them.

Yelp
Tried the bagels this time and I already want some more! It's chewy, filled with salmon and shmear (check out the photo). The Ruben was just as good as we remembered as well. I do think that it's quite pricey but the price also includes a potato salad which... personally I'm not a fan of. So I hope they can give us the option to just get the sandwich without the potato?

Yelp
This is my second time visiting cause I figured the first bad experience must have been a fluke but no. I don't get the hype and certainly not the crazy prices. See pics with comments

Yelp
Stopped by here for lunch. I had really high hopes for the pastrami. I grew up in the NY/NJ area where Jewish delis are abundant and pastrami, corned beef, and bagels were a staple of my childhood. Now let me say that the pastrami here is very good. It's well-seasoned, cut thick the way it should be, and is filling! You could honestly eat half the sandwich and save the other half. Now some of the weaknesses. The pastrami is dry in some parts and doesn't really have the smokiness you expect. Rye bread is very good, held up well. I thought the mustard was delicious, would have liked a little more. Overall, definitely the best pastrami I've had in Seattle. The Russian potato salad conceptually sounds awesome but falls flat. Potatoes were undercooked and lacks seasoning. I did like that there was a lot of dill, would have liked more acidity from the vinegar. Also, follow my Instagram @thephotographerfoodie :)

Yelp
What a great place for lox bagels! They have a heated outdoor seating area which is nice. I'd love to try their sandwiches next time. The lox was good, for the price I wish they added more salmon, this is coming from someone who ate lox bagels in NY. Overall good spot!

Yelp
Good but expensive. 30.00 for a Bronx sandwich pickle and slaw. That was a lot. I would be hard pressed to purchase that again.
