A very nice experience overall. The service is truly impeccable, and the sommelier here was very informative and attentive. The lady waitress was also very lovely. The food was also presented very beautifully (the amuse bouche was the highlight - delish!) but there were two areas that were somewhat lacking. One, the portion sizes were very, very small and even though I had the full experience, I was left extremely hungry (the duck slice was tiny and sinewy, the fish was the equivalent of a 1/4 cup). I'm not a very large person, in fact I weigh 90 pounds, so having left a restaurant hungry is a very (VERY!) rare thing. It never happens. The nonalcoholic beverage pairing was also very underwhelming. It is almost like it tries too hard to be unique and thus blend many different flavors together when it is not necessary. It goes a little bit overboard (the beetroot/coffee/cherry drink as an example -- stick to one or two flavours and add some texture instead?!). The dessert was similar, with too many flavors and textures, all melded together. It would be better if they deconstructed some of these aspects and created two different desserts. Also, perhaps invest in some nicer flatware/cutlery to bring the presentation up a notch! It looked like my grandmas flatware!
All in all, a lovely experience for the excellent service and good food with some gentle feedback provided for the flavour profiles themselves -- very small adjustments would help to make it truly a Michelin worthy restaurant!
