This was by far our favorite place at Dewey! Drinks were amazing. The food was great and service to match. We will be back again next year

The food here is really delicious. The service is amazing. It is fast and attentive. I would highly recommend the barata appetizer. It was really refreshing. I would say to stay away from the calamari as it is not crispy. And they put the fried calamari on a bed of marinara which makes it quite soggy. And then it comes with a sauce on top which doesn't help. They have several crushed flavors that are good and look like water. They have a nice happy hour with a bar type feel. High top seating. The mussels were also quite delicious. This is definitely a place worth checking out.

Food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the cookie dessert. I must say the service was top knotch as well. Considering it was just one bartender for most of the time, he was definitely on point.

We visit here every time we come to the beach. To me, this is one of the best bars because of its range from a great happy hour place, a great place for Sunday fun day of course, the great place to listen to music, and finally to grab a meal. This year was a little bit different of course because of covid-19. We got take out once and I had the steak and cheese sandwich and it was excellent. Then my family and I visited the actual restaurant after it opened back up on June 2nd. This time I had the patty and melt burger and it was pretty good. We sat outside and fell very comfortable with the social distancing as well as the professionalism of the staff. We're looking forward to going back soon!

Don’t miss out on this spot in Dewey! We went for a mix of appetizers and of course fresh oysters. I also recommend trying the oyster shot because why not!

Went here before peak season so it was pretty chill, and the service was quick and friendly. The seafood is delicious and fresh. We had local oysters (Dewey beach and Delaware bay ones) that were huge and so good they didn't need any toppings, as well as crab legs and the incredible seafood chowder that was so chunky I'm not even sure what all was in it (shrimp for sure at least). Also had the crab guacamole, which was good too, but didn't take a picture of it. We're new to Delaware but will definitely be coming back, as we plan on frequenting the beach. There are too many items on the menu we haven't tried.

Great food and drinks! Small local place, but and the staff are great.

Food was great and the servers were hustling. It got a little crowded and loud, and there wasn't much room for anyone to get around including the staff.

rex is awesome ! he had great food recommendations and was a very laid back guy. $6 crush special was awesome - the lemon crush was refreshing with a punch behind it. the tuna taretare lettuce wraps were very pretty and had such great flavor ! and the crab deviled eggs were a nice appetizer !

My husband and I went here for an impromptu date night. The rose was great and my husband loved the spicy margarita. The oysters were perfectly shucked and we loved the old bay tater tots. It was a total seafood bar and probably isn't the best option for kids. Service was great. Highly recommend for seafood lovers and date nights.

My friends and I came here on a Wednesday because they have happy hour all day. The restaurant is very small, it has a long bar that you can sit at and about 5-6 tables along the other side. We got there around 4/5pm and it was completely full. There were 6 of us and only 2 tables inside that could fit us comfortably and they were full so we chose to sit outside at two tables. The Delaware Bay oysters that were $1.50 for happy hour were bigger and meatier than I expected, it was only slightly briney. All in all, very pleased with them. The peel and eat shrimp came and I had a friend who almost turned the dish away because she thought that someone ordered a shrimp boil. It's served in a broth with potatoes and corn, and also cocktail sauce. Not what I expected at all and slightly over cooked, but fine. We got our drinks and food very quickly, but the service was a little off. When we were first ordering, I asked the waitress Kelly about how much comes in the peel and eat shrimp, knowing the menu says half a pound, the response was, "well, we weigh it." When I returned a look of slight disbelief, she then replied, "about 7-9 shrimp depending on size." My friend ordered a dozen assorted oysters and the staff came by with them, and immediately left without telling her what was what. When the final bill came, the waitress charged my friend another menu item's full price, not the peel and eat happy hour price. When we asked to about it, she was adamant that she was right, they were the same price anyways, until my friend pointed out our table's bill was correct and the waitress realized her mistake. I'm willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, but it was just not the greatest experience.

Excellent food and beer. The crab deviled eggs were delicious! Likewise the seafood pasta was really good. Crabs and mussels are the big seafood draws around this area. Starboard Raw can get really packed but the vibe and food choices are far superior in our opinion to sister restaurant Starboard across the street.

Stopped in on a a Saturday night to check out the new spot. It was extremely empty before 10. The bars are nice and there are a lot of seating areas. The bartender was friendly and made an amazing espresso martini. We each had two and would have had a third if we weren't the only people in there. Neat new spot. I will definitely be back for dinner (and a few martinis).

My husband and I had the oyster and clam stew and we both loved it! We shared the calamari appetizer that I wasn't too impressed with. Also had the white sangria, which was pretty good.

SB Raw is 3 blocks from my house but for some reason we always forget to come here. We finally went last night for happy hour and there were plenty of seats at the bar and plenty of tables available. We were told we could get the happy hour specials at both the tables or the bar. We were aware they had $1 oysters - but never got happy hour menus so I didn't realize until later that they also had other hh food deals. We ordered 2 dozen oysters. They came out pretty fast and they were delish. We also ordered buffalo brussel sprouts because a lot of other people in the place were eating them so we figured they were a menu highlight. They were def good but personally I like mine a little more over cooked than they were. We also ordered the crab deviled eggs and the crab pretzel. Would order those both again. My only complaint on that is that there were 5 deviled egg halfs. Seems like when dealing with eggs we should have gotten an even number of halfs? haha. Where did the other half egg go? They had big tvs and were playing all the big fb games but without the volume which was the only reason we didn't stay longer this time.

Everything here is (insert chef's kiss) delicious, however, the calamari is out of the world. The juxtaposition of the two sauces create a marriage of perfection. Great Happy hour!

The Delaware Bay oysters are now $1.50. Best price on Dewey beach. The oysters and other menu items are on the happy hour menu.

Very good raw bar menu, but I would not do any crab options. The crab soup was a major disappointment; way too much potato and onions and NO crab. The shrimp were good but the they actually had raw potatoes in the bowl which surprised us. Raw bar was very good and had very good options. We also would suggest sticking with beer, as the margaritas were disappointing as well. We will not give up on this place as it is a great location and the staff was very nice. Hopefully they are just going through a difficult time with finding a good chef.

The adult cousin of the legendary beach bar across the street. Cocktails in glassware! Menu to please all tastes and done well! I'm picky about seafood and the raw bar is top notch. Fresh and well prepared. Priced reasonably. You can't go wrong here.

BEST HAPPY HOUR IN TOWN! When you find any place that offers happy hour on a weekend during vacation is a win. We got seated 3 minutes before happy hour ends, our server, Wendy was so kind to took our orders right away. And she even told us that as long as you are seated before happy hour ends, you will get the deal! We got the dozen of oysters for a buck each! It's totally worthy. The oysters were good size. The Buffalo shrimp was so delicious, the Buffalo sauce was from house made, this is also a must try off the happy hour menu.

Everything was perfect today. First real spring weather. Outdoor seating with a beach town practically all to ourselves. Snacking away at Happy Hour and watching the sun set. Besides the ambiance, all the food was great and delicious. A dozen raw oysters naturally for Happy Hour. Their Starboard VIPale Ale is delicious pairing with it. The Buffalo sliders were perfect with every bite. The crabby tater tots could have been more crabby. The crab cake sandwich was really great tasting too. Mi almost missed it but they e got their own Statblard hot sauce made by Peppers down the street by the outlets and that was delicious with the tots and dipping the crab cake in it too. I really liked the daily special too-- seared tuna with crusted sesame seed over a seaweed salad cucumber slice.

Excellent! We started with a dozen oysters and finished with two one-pound clusters of crab legs. Wow! Fresh & tasty. The drinks were great, service spot-on and the atmosphere phenomenal. Five stars... best meal I've had in a few years time.

The happy hour is excellent and service is amazing. Always have to get an espresso martini. The peel and eat shrimp is a must have!

Food is always good, come here every yr we are in Dewey. Bar tender kept scratching/rubbing her nose w/ the back of her bare hand and didn't wash them. That was a little off putting. She was also a tad rude when I told her another person in my party had started a tab. Waitress forgot two things we had ordered. We ordered a few appetizers. We didn't say anything at first b/c we thought the other items would come out after our seafood tower which took up a lot of the table. We get the bill and the items were on the tab. We said something and she asked why we hadn't said anything, we told her we thought the rest would come out in "shifts." She appeared annoyed that she had to go and remove these items from the tab. She had been friendly before until we pointed out the charge for items we didn't receive. Then she acted a bit abrasive. This establishment is very busy and I'm sure things can get hectic but she passed our table numerous times and never noticed that we hadn't received everything. Will still come back b/c the food is delicious. Was just a bit turned off by the service this visit:

Amazing happy hour specials and great service from the bar! I ordered a few apps, oysters and 2 cocktails for less than $40. The food was really good! And the oysters were fresh and tasty. The bartender was great too. I got there before it got crowded and really enjoyed everything.

Great crab legs seasoned with Old Bay seasoning in true Delmarva tradition. My dining partner enjoyed his chowder. The lobster Mac and cheese was rich and decadent. Fast service. Worthwhile stop.

Cute little place, fills up fast so get there early if you want a seat inside. Boyfriend enjoyed his buffalo chicken salad and I loved the salad I got that had crab and avocado on it, and the mussels. I didn't leave here feeling like I was bloated and dying like most vacation places. I would recommend and will return if I come back to Dewey.

Went for the happy hour and ordered many dishes today. In general a pleasant dining experience. The service was good! Most dishes were delicious! The crab soup tasted good, but I didn't find crab meat though.

Starboard Raw is a good place to get fresh seafood and a bit of local Dewey Beach charm. Great selection of beers and cocktails, fresh steamed seafood being made behind the bar and a great selection of oysters representing mollusks from MA, RI, DE, MD and VA.

Loved it! Delicious oysters, fun server super knowledgeable about the oysters! Oh and the oyster where shocked perfectly!!!

My husband and I absolutely loved this place . We came here for happy hour & we had the raw oysters for a $1.00 now you can't beat that . We also ordered the tacos . I gotten the steak which was very delicious & he gotten the blackened fish which was his favorite. We aslo ordered the crab dip that came with the pretzels it was good but I wish the crab dip was a bit bigger portion & less bread. Overall this place was really good , good service & nice set up inside. Definitely come here & check this place out.

Absolutely delicious! Service is very attentive. Food is fresh and beers are cold! Great kids menu- choice of grilled shrimp; steak; chicken tenders.... much better options for kids relative to other restaurants. Tuna tartare wraps - superb!

I've been coming to rehoboth/Dewey multiple times a year since forever due to having family live here, but for some reason I never have come here. I've been to the starboard across the street, but not starboard raw. I'm so glad I changed that this last visit! Because it's the off season we were able to walk right in and get a table, something that's probably hard to do in the summer. First of all, our waiter was great! I wish I remembered his name! But really the whole staff seemed great, they had a few people waiting tables, running food, tending bar, and everyone we encountered were kind and helpful. Our party ordered quite a lot, and it was honestly all great. I loved the soup, the crab stuffed pretzel, and the special which was tacos (Tuesday.) When I return in summer I will absolutely be coming back!

Really good foodi got the buffalo chicken sandwich and that was super good. All the dishes we got were really good. The garlic bread was super good too

Ok, I am in a long debate with my friends on should I judge a restaurant based on my taste in the big city. I decided to say Yes, which is why I gave Starboard Raw 2 stars. First, the beer selection is excellent. I was able to get a quality craft beer as well as beers from Belgium here! Service was good too! However, once we ate is where the quality went down. We first ordered the brussels sprouts with bacon, and I was a bit disappointed, the sprouts were not the quality that I had even at a fast-food restaurant called Smash Burgers. I was looking forward to them to be crispy and the bacon to be noticeable. Second, we order the mussels, and right at the start, the mussels were missing from some of the shells. I was hoping to retrieve them from the broth which I sometimes drink but with no luck. I understand that this was not a full-blown restaurant, but the actual restaurant with the same name was just across the street, so I assume that I was getting the same quality food. For our meal, we had the short ribs nachos, which sounds great. The chips were warm (which I love!) but the short ribs were sparse, and the guacamole was a bit too limey. If we had at least a half a hand full of meat, I would have been satisfied. I know, I know this is just a bar but the reviews from other Yelpers convince me to go along with the beer selection.

Went there on a Sunday night (off season march 13th) ordered 4 appetizers and drinks.. everything was outstanding.

Came here for happy hour. Food and pricing were on par with the area, nothing to write home about (expect to spend about $40/person for a meal and a drink). Note that this place is small and all of the tables are high tops. This place wouldn't be good for big groups of 6 or more. The $1 oysters on happy hour were a good deal, as were the $5 well drinks. The HH tacos and peel shrimp were good but the popcorn shrimp isn't worth getting due to it's tiny portion. We got a few HH appetizers but it wasn't enough food to count as dinner so we ended up ordering entrees as well. Their fries are good, big and fluffy, but needed more seasoning.

We dined here on our day trip to Dewey Beach. I really enjoyed it. The service was good, and the food was delicious. I had the lobster and crab mac and cheese and my hubs had deviled eggs with crab in them as well as chipotle wings (they had just the right crisp). He had the boil plate too, which had potatoes, shrimp, crab legs and oysters. It looked like he enjoyed that, though he said he needed the wings after to fill him. For dessert, he ate (and I nibbled on) their cheesecake. That had a berry flavor with chocolate, that was also good. The biggest hit for me was the espresso martini. It was delicious. The drink definitely wasn't watered down and you could taste the espresso. Probably one of the best drinks I've tasted in quite a while. A cute combination of coffee and libation.

This was a nice place with great service. The food was all tasty-- we came during happy hour and had a few beers with their Buffalo themed menu. Would totally come back.

We sat outside and enjoyed delicious oysters and the most disappointing snow crab I have ever had. Not sure what happened but the shell was mushy and the meat inside shriveled and tasteless. Cocktails were yummy and the service was good. Maybe it was just an off night for crabs.

Wonderful service from Wendy tonight! We had a great time and the food was fabulous. We decided to go tapas style and ordered a bunch of small plates plus some oysters. All was wonderful. The b- more style crab soup had large chunks of lump meat in it. Oysters were on point, raw tuna lettuce cups were yum, crab lobster guacamole also great. My daughter chose the Buffalo shrimp and they were to die for as well. We did have one small plate that was accidentally left out, but we were so full it worked out and was taken off the bill with no issues.

Delicious happy hour oysters and great service at the bar! A little too small for these COVID times so we didn't hang out too long. Most were masked but a large table of folks near us were all laughing and talking unmasked, as they were eating and drinking it makes sense, but we were within the "splash zone" so I wish we'd been able to sit outside.

Stopped in here and quite surprised at this place. The food was shockingly good. I had a hankering for crab cakes and they came through. I do like mine a little more crunchy but overall it was good. Over the rice was different but worked with the meal. One tip I learned. Know your oysters. They were prepared well but I need to know the sizes. :)

I enjoyed this place. Nice atmosphere, clean, good service. I got the avocado fries and the crab dip which were both good. My dad had the oysters and loved them. Nice selection of beer too. It's not the best place I've ever been but I'd still recommend it.

First time visiting SR Raw and I was pleased with my meal. I had the seafood boil and it was very delicious. The only drawback for me was the restaurant had only 4 maybe 5 tables inside and it was very tight. If it weren't for that I would have given 5 stars.

Absolutely great!! Our server, Wendy, was truly amazing. So accommodating, incredibly friendly, and effective. And the food was perfect! From apps to mains, everything was great, and the drinks hit the spot. The experience was slightly tainted by our encounter with the hostess. Despite having put our name in for a table of 5 people, waiting 2 hours, and receiving a text that a table was ready, we came to find that they had a table of 4, not 5. We responded by asking if there was an extra chair we could use so everyone in our party could have a seat, and we were told there was not. This obviously would not work for our party, but we were met with attitude, eye rolls, and dismissiveness, when we told the hostess we couldn't take a table for 4, as she was somehow confused why one of us wouldn't stand for the entirety of our meal. Once we were eventually sat, Wendy made all the difference. Amazing!

This was a great spot for getting in my raw cravings! We ordered a mini feast, sampling numerous things. They had four different kinds of oysters when we were there and I got one of each to try them out. My favorite was the wellfleet oyster. I also got a half dozen topneck clams (raw), lobster mac & cheese, saffron rice, Brussell sprouts, peel & eat shrimp, a Cousteau oyster shooter and a tequila crush. I was super impressed by everything. The lobster mac & cheese had a super creamy sauce with a smooth and slightly sweet flavor. The crab and lobster were quality bits and they give you a solid amount of it. The Brussell sprouts were crispy and delicious, topped with bacon and parmesean cheese (I asked for no buffalo sauce and blue cheese). The tequila crush I ordered usually comes with grapefruit juice, but they switched it out for orange juice at my request. The orange juice is not from a carton. You could taste the freshness of the oranges in the drink! Our server was super helpful and friendly. All in all, an excellent experience and I will definitely go back the next time I get out to Dewey Beach.

Favorite food during our trip! Great atmosphere. Shared a huge king crab leg, thai mussels, beef chimichurri and buffalo shrimp. All awesome! Great drinks too.

Always great drinks ( if your not having a crush your missing out on the best summer drink ever) If you love oysters come for Happy Hour they have some great deals and the service is always top notch and friendly. Try some of the wings with different rubs and sauces, they can't be beat.

Love this place and the food is wonderful ...great addition to Dewey!! Right across from Starboard...clean cool and great wait staff!

Excellent seafood. Probably best in town and I come here every year! Very uncomfortable seating. Crab cakes low quality, mac and cheese tasted like hot water. But service was very good so we forgot what it tasted like hahha but in all honesty it was the seafood when the seafood is to die for you cant give less than 4 stars!

Nice, intimate spot across the street from The Starboard (original bar/resto) of Dewey Beach. Nice selection of drinks (cocktails, brews, vinos) and of course seafood. Check out their selection of happy hour offerings including $1 oysters, $9 peel n eat shrimp, $5 select cocktails, etc. Visited during the off season durinf Xmas. The oyster Xmas tree was cute and I want to make one. ;) Service was outstanding from Peyton. Check it out when you're in town!

The service here is amazing. Rex is the best. He is very accommodating and gives exceptional service. The drinks are delicious as is the food. 10/10 recommend coming in when he is here. xoxo. :)
