Diners Want Restaurants to Reopen, but Workers Don’t Feel Safe Yet - Eater

"Hermia* was concerned when, on May 7, she arrived at her Starbucks location in Atlanta to prepare for reopening the next day. 'Most people didn’t come in with their own masks,' she said, 'and the ones provided by Starbucks are I think literally T-shirts that someone cut out.' She says the store’s layout makes it impossible to keep six feet apart from her coworkers at all times, and that if she can’t guarantee everyone will be taking the new sanitation measures seriously, she’ll be exposing herself. Even if every employee follows protocol, there are still customers to deal with. 'Starbucks is a little bit more expensive than our competitors, and I feel like at that price point people get a little pushy,' she said. 'People are never on their best behavior at Starbucks.' There have already been reports of customers harassing workers when they’ve been asked to wear masks, and in general, reopening puts workers in the position of having to enforce public health practices." - Jaya Saxena

Coffee still good compared to other Starbucks these days, but the drinks aren’t filled to the top anymore? Shaken espresso not shaken.

Good staff,and ice coffee100% recommended

Google
Aesthetically nice location. However, like many other starbucks locations it does lack plentiful seating especially when busy. One person unintentionally can take up a 3-person high top because tables are tiny. They could use longer tables and more comfortable chair options. Coffee was good, and the employees seemed very friendly welcoming people in. There was also some free parking!

Had such an amazing experience here! Me and my 2 friends were visiting from out of state and had to get Starbucks reserve. The drinks were great and the employees were all wonderful. The employee who took my order came back and asked if we enjoyed our drinks, she was super nice!!

Google
I bought this drink with Venti size but they gave me a half of cup like Tall or Grande size. I request to fill more but they denied and ignore my complaint. This staff was attitude and rude.

Google
Small parking area, busy store. This Starbucks seems to cater to the people in the buildings around it. I'm in here once a month or so if I'm leaving midtown in the morning. The staff seems to be quick and polite. I watched the homeless person come in and just take a drink out of the case. The staff just blankly watch them. What do you do? If I notice a line as I drive to the parking lot, I order on the app and it comes up pretty quickly.

I’m not sure what’s happening at this location but the customer service, tone of the staff and quality of the drinks has significantly gone down. Today I ordered a grande matcha and was given a hot cup of foam. When I asked them to remake it, I got a cup of milk and matcha…nothing else— no classic syrup, just plain simple bitterness —and it wasn’t even hot. The manager there has always been amazingly cheerful and pleasant but some of those front life staff seem to hate life; and you can taste it in the beverages they make. I used to love this location. It’s a shadow of what it used to be. Cosmetics didn’t save this spot.

My experience here as a disabled customer was unpleasant I purchased a coffee and everyone know coffee is a diuretic I had to use the restroom I was barely in there five minutes the cashier comes and ask me if I was taking a bath in her restroom first and foremost what a customer does in the bathroom is they're business as long as the property is not damaged or a mess or bodily fluids what an awful experience please don't come here you will get discriminated on for using the restroom as a valued customer

Yelp
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - DO BETTER, STARBUCKS (7th & Peachtree Location) What I witnessed today at the Starbucks on 7th & Peachtree was absolutely deplorable. I've never seen such appalling customer service, and I'm honestly still shaken by it. A well-dressed woman -- with TWO phones, a laptop, and clearly in the middle of doing business -- was treated in the most demeaning and disrespectful way by the so-called store manager. She had asked one of the women at the front if she needed to purchase something to use the store's Wi-Fi, and she was kindly told no, as the Wi-Fi only needed her email. That should've been the end of it. But instead, the store manager rudely interrupted, demanded she buy something, and proceeded to speak down to her in an unprofessional and completely unnecessary way. She even told him that she would be purchasing something shortly -- she was just in the middle of important work -- and yet he kept escalating the situation, showing no regard for anyone in the store. Then came the most disgusting part -- he loudly implied the woman might be homeless. Yes, homeless. Simply because she was quietly sitting there with her tech, dressed like a professional. First of all, her appearance or housing status should never be a reason to treat someone like trash, but she clearly wasn't even close to what he was suggesting. It was coded, biased, and absolutely unacceptable. And THEN -- he called the police on her. Over what? Sitting quietly and minding her business? I've been a Starbucks customer for years, and this was by far the worst treatment I've ever seen -- not just from this brand, but from any establishment. That store manager needs serious accountability. I will never be returning to this location again, and I hope corporate sees this and takes action. Do better, Starbucks. Your customers -- and human beings -- deserve better.

Yelp
This location is great! It's a standard Starbucks, everything here is clean and nice of course. The staff are wonderful. Not much else to say but definitely a solid location if you live in the area :)

Yelp
I came in on a Saturday there were 4 ppl in the place, I ordered a mango lemonade. Waited for 20 minutes for my drink before I finally requested and received a refund and left. Truly annoying

Melanie S.

Yelp
Although I can usually rely on this Starbucks for a somewhat standard experience, this morning I was treating myself to a espresso drink and was crushed when I got home to find it tasted like dirty water. I heard other customers complaining, which should have alerted me that something was wrong. I just wish midtown had ONE cute coffee shop- is that too much to ask? Makes me sad.

Yelp
If you want to grow hair on your chest, get the Reserve blend Doppio. It's STRONG AF! Also (to be expected for the area) there is limited parking behind the building. So you may have to park down the street.

Yelp
While walking through Midtown Atlanta, we found Starbucks Reserve. R knew about Starbucks Reserve, with its small-lot coffee beans brewed through different techniques resulting in uniquely better tasting coffees. Unfortunately, all of this is lost on me, since I rarely drink coffee and can't recognize any differences between great and awful tasting coffees. *shrugs shoulders* Because it was so hot outside, we both opted to get Starbucks Refreshers cold drinks. I ordered a Dragon Drink, and R ordered a Paradise Drink. That they were both named refreshers is so appropriate, since they were both so ... well ... refreshing! And both had strong fruit flavors. So good! The employees were courteous and efficient, and kept up with the orders coming through this very busy location. There weren't enough seating areas for everyone, and what areas were open weren't cleaned up by the employees. There were more seating areas toward the back of the store, but they were blocked off.

Yelp
I just Im new to this 7th st midtown Atlanta location Dragon friut mixes are excellent Staff is always friendly Vibe is cool ...it's upscale

Yelp
Not an actual reserve. A standard Starbucks shoved into what used to be a reserve. Low key depressing.
google avatar

Brittney K.

Yelp
When comparing this Starbucks reserve to the one in NYC, it is a bit of a let down. Although the restaurant is beautiful, the store does not have the variety of selections as its counterparts. I did think the staff were friendly and helped me make my decision, the baristas were also very patient as I was unsure what to try. I did purchase a cup and tried one the specialty drinks. I would like to see this location get a bit more options.
google avatar

Yelp
When you are married to a Starbucks addict and you stumble upon a Reserve store it's like visiting the holy grail of Starbucks... I had the reserve drinks that were very good and love the different cups- but definitely pricy (lucky part of being married to an addict is he also has lots of points) I will say every employee was super friendly (granted we are in the south). They answered all our annoying questions with a smile. This store is super dog friendly which you don't see in many cities. An added benefit you can sit at the counter like a kitchen view seat and watch all the action

Yelp
A very pleasant visit to this location to begin my Atlanta weekend getaway. Very organized. Service with a smile (and a Thank You). Clean dining room. Prompt completion of order. Yep, they check all the boxes for top reviews.

Yelp
where do i begin with the update of this review. After touring the Reserve in Seattle, this place sucks. The back door is now permanently locked so access to and from your car is not as accessible. The front patio furniture has been removed where you can work and overlook Peachtree and pedestrians. The tables along the wall are extra wobbly and there is no back support as the wall is a good foot of distance from the tables. The outlets are buried under the seat cushions so that you have to get on your knees to plug up your laptop/working device. There are not many hot food options to choose from and Im not sure they do the drink displays anymore...meaning drink of the week or try these new exclusive drink only served at this location because we are Reserve. Lastly they have completely reserved a restroom for the staff only. This place sucks.
google avatar

Tiff H.

Yelp
Since my last review, Starbucks has become a Reserve. And thank god, because the last location was lackluster. It's now become hip and serves fancy Starbucks drinks not found at regular locations. Either way, this place is BUSY (well, pre-COVID). It's hard to find a place to sit, even though it's pretty large. I love the dirty chai nitro cold brew - it's a bit sweet and not the lowest calorie caffeinated beverage... also a little pricey... but worth it. I've also tried the shakerato bianco, which was super light and tasty. It wasn't super sweet but sweet enough to take the edge off. Definitely will stop in again when I'm in the area!
google avatar

Yelp
I must be on a roll as this is my second SB Reserve I've visited in the last few weeks. When searching in my Yelp App for a Starbucks it doesn't say Reserve, so I get just a tad bit more excited coming in for my Medicine Ball. The crowd is diverse with many laptops thanks to the convenient charging outlets amongst the various seating options - individually, duo & communal. There's also an interior patio with a fire station window & the accessibility accommodations gets an A+. You access this heavily popular SB's from Peachtree Street/7th or from the rear that has a few parking spaces available. Extremely welcoming employees amongst an extremely clean store.

Yelp
This is my favorite Starbucks in Atlanta! They're like the Starbucks for Starbucks lover. Their drinks are a little fancier than other Starbucks and they have the Starbucks Reserve coffees as well. They usually have a few drinks that you can only get at Starbucks Reserves. One that I tried last weekend was the "melrose" which kind of tastes like a coffee version of a Manhattan. It was great! The day before I tried their Iced Hazelnut Bianco which I liked even more. Also its in midtown! The building is not the best location for parking. They do have a deck that is easily accessible at odd hours, but not during busy times. Staff is always super friendly and I always have a good mood after visiting here.

Yelp
Slow. Took 20 minutes past when the mobile order was said to be ready. Putting other people who just ordered first.
google avatar

Tari O.

Yelp
Stopped by the Starbucks reserve in Midtown. The Reserve Starbucks have an elevated coffee selection. So much so that menus aren't even posted on walls like the standard Starbucks experience. Instead they're printed, and the staff are knowledgeable as well. The inside has a smoking room vibe which is more upscale as well. Only complaint is there is little work or meeting space. A few nooks for solo working but hard not to be bumped into. There is patio seating for nice weather days. Parking was also Impossible to find! Best if you're on foot for this spot.
google avatar

P A.

Yelp
"Just" a Starbuck now...Reserve is out of service for unknown reason and indefinitely. I will return to 5 stars if Reserve returns. Staff remains awesome though.
google avatar

Holmes B.

Yelp
Not a whole lot to say about Starbucks that I haven't said before but the Reserve in Midtown Atlanta was worth a visit since we don't have one in MIA. They do have specialty items not found in your regular Starbucks and I just loved my Shakerato Bianco for a change. A unique blend and technique this is not your typical macchiato. You best believe I will be coming back on my next visit to try a few more items.

Julie H.

Yelp
I typically go to this location every morning before work and have never had a bad experience until today. I get the same thing every day. When billy made my drink incorrectly, I brought it to his attention and he aggressively slammed the drink into the sink. I asked Lauren, what his name was, she refused to tell me and told me "she got it". After a hassle of getting his name, she finally told me and was unapologetic and rude and dismissive.
google avatar

Yelp
Starbucks is Starbucks, right? Wrong. This Starbucks surpasses the many, many Sbux locations I've been to in my lifetime. I won't waste your time explaining the food and beverages because it's the same as every location. Instead, I'll focus on what's different. - The style of the employees is ON POINT, my dudes. They all wear button ups and adorable hats. I'm obsessed. - I don't really know what "Starbucks Reserve" means, but I've gotten it when I had a rewards drink and it's fricking delicious, plus, you don't need a sleeve because the cup itself doesn't get super hot (even though the coffee inside of it is still hot). - Ample places where you can tie up your pups while still being able to see them from inside! - The parking lot is smallish, but I've never had a problem with parking. Even at 8 am on weekdays. - The friendliest staff around! I took down names of some of the best employees I've interacted with over the past several months: * Olivia (she always makes a concentrated effort to remember my name) * Courtney (literally the friendliest human alive. greets everyone with a smile and doesn't know a stranger.) * Yolanda * Kelsey * Melinda * Jace Anyway, if you have a choice in your Starbucks locations, definitely choose this store. It's simply the best.

Yelp
I visit many Starbucks, this is my favorite. Located at 7th and Peachtree. It is a Reserve Store. Not sure what that means but it's certainly a step up from your typical Starbucks. They have a reserve line of coffees. They also sell a reserve line of coffee mugs, Swell Bottles, even a reserve tote bag. I need one of those in my life, for sure!!! I just love the vibe in this place. They offer coffee classes, might sign up for one of those. If you're in the midtown area (7th and Peachtree NE) make sure to stop in. I was told this is the only Reserve store on the East Coast other than NYC. Don't shy away if the store is packed there is a great ebb and flow of traffic. You'll get a seat and be able to enjoy the artsy vibe of this location. I promise you will not be disappointed!!!

Miguel M.

Yelp
Place smelled musty, the amount of dogs that were inside the store stopped me from drinking my coffee inside, wish I knew before ordering my coffee on the app would just gone to another Starbucks near my house

Yelp
Pretty cool-looking Starbucks. I went this past weekend with the fam bam to show them the steampunk aesthetics of this place. It had been since before the pandemic that I was here and it was nice to see that while there are (major) limitations, this location was still humming along. We tried the hazelnut bianco latte (supposedly exclusive to Reserve locales), in addition to an order for an iced matcha latte and a matcha lemonade. The hazelnut coffee drink was spectacular and one that I'd get again, with no changes to the standard recipe. I never had to drive to this location, since I'd walk from work but since we don't live in the immediate area, we rolled around in our whip and were happy to see that there were free spots to park in. I bet during normal times these parking spots are occupied around the clock, but on a Sunday afternoon during the novel coronavirus pandemic, we had plenty to choose from. While I like going to a local coffee joint as much as any other respectable java drinker, I go to Starbucks once in a while too. This location looks a bit different and has that tasty hazelnut latte to try.
google avatar

Tyler J.

Yelp
I LOVE this Starbucks. It's by the far the best one I've visited simply because they always make my drink correctly. It's about a 3 min walk away from me which makes it so convenient. The baristas are super inviting from the moment you walk through the door, and they are never understaffed. My drink order varies but it's typically a grande/venti iced green tea latte with extra matcha (and a pump of peppermint bc ~holiday szn~) They also have the best playlist. What coffee shop do you know that blasts Beyoncé's Upgrade U? I'll wait.
google avatar

Catherine J.

Yelp
Service and Staff very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the problem with this location is the fact that the homeless take up much of the seating and it's saddens me to say that's not the problem... the problem is the smell. God Bless the homeless
google avatar

Kinjal S.

Yelp
Parking is a pain! But the inside is huge, plenty of seating. The baristas were super helpful! I got the dark chocolate mocha, absolutely delicious. So worth saving up my rewards. The cup they gave it in is also nice and reusable. Super loud place though, probably not a good place to work.
google avatar

Christie D.

Yelp
Whats with the Reserve part. It was just like every other Starbucks store. I enjoyed the atmosphere & my coffee.
google avatar

Noah A.

Yelp
Starbucks is not my favorite place for coffee, but compared to other Starbucks locations, Midtown's Starbucks on Peachtree is a step above the others. Service here is always so good and quick, and the atmosphere is very friendly and open with decent seating for a downtown location. Better than the Starbucks in the spring street Barnes & Nobles. I think everyone knows what a Starbucks coffee tastes like so just know that Midtown's Starbucks has some of the consistently best service that comes along with order your usual Starbucks order. I wanted to try a different Starbucks order for fun once, so I got the Chicken Caprese sandwich. This cheesy chicken sandwich has a good amount of basil and oregano and proved to be pretty good for a Starbucks pre-packaged sandwich. Definitely don't be afraid to order a sandwich at Starbucks if you're hungry. They even toast it for you and its always comes out perfectly hot. Consistently good service and decent seating pretty much sums this place up.
google avatar

Jamarcus T.

Yelp
Probably the most visually attractive Starbucks i've Been into in the Atl area. I like the open look of this place, with all of their snacks on display and well lit to make them look even more tasty. It was just drinks today, so we got one regular drip coffee ($2.25) and one Americano cup ($4) I wont go into the flavors of the coffees here because although this starbucks location offers drinks that are not found at other "regular" starbucks locations, the flavors that we selected are pretty standard with starbucks. While the interior of this Starbucks is really pretty, and while there is a fair amount of seats, man do they fill up fast. It was pretty hard to find spots to sit. Their set up is a bit interesting because as you walk in from the parking lot, there's a long line of seats lining the wall of the main hallway. It was pretty packed/congested and seems only designed for studying/working, and not really conversing since you're all on top of each other. Seating wasnt found inside, although we did find room at a community table in their small patio. There are a few natural benches outside on the patio and a couple of tables as well. Parking is surprisingly free in Atlanta, without much limitation in the small next door lot, though I can see it getting full fairly easily. Exiting out onto Peachtree st isn't much of a problem either I can see the appeal of this Starbucks Reserve. Again it's beautiful. The food is beautifully lit, the drinks are not typical starbucks fare, and if you live close as well as love starbucks coffee, this could be your spot. Unfortunately just for a random nangout on a Saturday afternoon, company excluded, it was just an okay location for me where seating was almost impossible to find.
google avatar

Ethan S.

Yelp
Went out of my way to find the "Reserve" shop. Guess my expectations where set too high. Not much different than a non reserve shop.
google avatar

Maddy S.

Yelp
I love the unique reserve menu at this location. It feels like a real cafe and not just a normal Starbucks. The staff is extremely friendly and by far had the best customer service of any Starbucks I've been too. Other reviews highlight how this reserve isn't on the same caliber as the ones in other major cities and I don't think it's meant to be, given that the location is small. As long as you don't have that expectation going in, it's a great experience!
google avatar

Daniel B.

Yelp
5 stars for service. 2 stars for parking. Average: 3.5 stars. Rounded up: 4 stars. I stopped by this Midtown Starbucks late on a Tuesday night. Located at the corner of Peachtree and 7th, this is a very busy and popular Starbucks. I pass it all the time and every time I do, there are tons of patrons crammed inside, many on their laptops, netbooks, tablets, and smart phones. The small, but free (!), parking lot in the back is also always packed. A free parking lot in this part of town is almost unheard of. I have to give it up to the staff here. They're super cool and do a good job handling orders. This Starbucks has a nice little patio, which is a plus. The store is in a prime location on Peachtree St, located caddy corner from the Utrecht art supply store, Laughing Skull Lounge, and the Vortex. Since it was late at night and I didn't want caffeine, I ordered a sweetened iced green tea latte with 2% milk. It's the bomb -- absolutely delicious and highly recommended, especially (and obviously) for fans of green tea. A great alternative to Starbucks' other caffeinated beverage offerings. After hours, you *might* be able to get away with parallel parking for free on 7th (on either side of Peachtree), but do so at your own risk.
google avatar

Nik D.

Yelp
I normally really love this Starbucks because of the ambiance and the reserve selection. However, this location has gotten progressively slower in service. This is a very busy location, and the barista should be equipped and trained to keep up with this service quickly. Today, I placed a mobile order and to my disappointment had to wait a while after I arrived for a simple iced coffee. There was really only one barista making drinks while three other baristas were doing housekeeping things while there was a clear line of people waiting for drinks! Obviously, I'll be back, but it would be nice if this locations focused a little more on customer service and being receptive!
google avatar

Opal T.

Yelp
One of the nicest Starbucks I've been to. I love the natural and wooden decor. There is plenty of seating and a great environment to do work in -- you can sit in the row of seats by the window where it's quiet and has a good view. My drink was made correctly and quite fast. Thanks!

Caitlin D.

Yelp
By far the BEST Starbucks in midtown. Order from this location nearly every day and order is ALWAYS correct. Staff is super friendly and kind. Fav Starbucks location by far.
google avatar

Bryan L.

Yelp
This Starbucks has been updated this past year to become a Starbucks Reserve, the company's new line of premium-end coffee shops. I think it's a good move, the menu is a lot more condensed and it seems that the quality has improved too than a normal Starbucks. I got the nitro cold brew, which tasted like normal cold brew to me except more expensive. I dunno. The interior is definitely a lot nicer, there are a lot of different seating arrangements from cocktail tables to even an outdoor patio-like seating area with tables and benches. It's a decent place to study, and the place doesn't get as loud as Sweet Hut and other neighboring coffee shops do.
google avatar

Gareeyasee S.

Yelp
One of my favorite Starbucks locations in Atlanta! The servers are super friendly and the vibe of the place is great for a study session or chat with friends
google avatar

Brian B.

Yelp
Confused by the setup, are there two lines? Otherwise seemed like a normal "Charbucks". The menu was confusing, it wasn't apparent what menu items where different. We paid for a reserve latte, and it still tasted burnt. We literally through them out and grabbed a latte at a local joint we love.
google avatar

Nauman B.

Yelp
Hands down my favorite Starbucks location. From the trendy decor to friendly and efficient staff, I've not once have had a bad experience here. The outdoor (covered patio which is enclosed for winter) is awesome. Especially for just sipping your coffee and doing people watching on peachtree street. It does get a little loud at times but then the indoor is perfect. The inside area is huge and I've never had an issue with finding a seat. What I like the most about this Starbucks in particular is that even when it's crowded the baristas still manage to get my order right and within a very short time. And to make it nicer they always greet me properly. PS, I've actually taken some design inspiration from the decor. Definitely looking forward to trying the happy hour coffee tasting.
google avatar

Robert B.

Yelp
This is the slickest Starbucks in the City, far and way. It's got great ambiance and feels like its special. Since it's franchise, I'll add my list of pros and cons too. Pro Great location. Floor to ceiling windows. Cool coffee bar. Upscale feel. Con Limited seating -- less than the original. Outside seating encourages homeless folks. Lots of space dedicated to high end coffee, but little consumer information about what to buy. Parking is weird now that the next door lot is gone. All of that said, this is probably my favorite in the area and could be yours too.
google avatar

Ash S.

Yelp
This is the best Starbucks. However, there's really no place to park and no place to sit, ever. If you're in midtown, pop in and walk away. I have never had anything bad on their menu. The staff is nice and fast.
google avatar

Yelp
It's the new and improved Starbucks at 7th and Peachtree. The pros: 1. It's new and improved as a Starbucks Reserve. Meaning that it has the higher end coffees that exist in the world. You can get it served all fancy on a special presentation plate and enjoy it. Personally, coffee is primarily coffee for me. 2. The inside is actually designed very well for quite a few people to sit in there, enjoy their food or drink, and do work. I'm a fan of people watching and the windows all for it. The outside is much better than most places. It has a large table and a number of smaller ones facing Peachtree Street. When the weather gets bad, the outside seating area has large windows that can be closed. Watching the rush to close the windows when a storm rolls in is always entertaining. You'd swear the apocalypse was arriving. 3. Still most of the same people working there as before the renovation. They get your order right, and will replace it if it isn't. It's still as good as the old one with the new improvements. They really do know what they're talking about in terms of good coffee. The cons: 1. Parking is and will always be an issue. They have improved the number of spaces available as compared to the previous place. You can also park inside a garage at the designated spots. 7th Street is now a two way street so getting in and out is a lot easier than in the past. You might have a tough time with parking during peak hours and also with the number of people who are absolutely clueless about how to park without taking up more than one space. Just FYI, there are white bricks that function as the white lines you would normally spot in a parking area. I won't lie about the fact that once in a while I leave little notes for those people about how they need to relearn how to park. 2. A disappointment to me is the clear lack of bike parking. There is only one bike "rack" and it usually as a bike locked up horizontally along it instead of perpendicular (to maximize space usage). I like to ride my bike around up to this place on nice days. It really stinks if I have to lock up my bike on a handrail which creates an obstacle to people using the rail when needed. Also make sure to take any valuable items off of your bike when parking it. Stuff will disappear off of it. 3. As for parking, make sure you park on a designated Starbucks space. You will see the company's logo and know you'll be fine. If you don't, and decided to park at the BB&T spot, you will get booted, even on Sunday when the bank is closed. They watch those carefully because of ATM users and you'l be out $75.00. I know this because I decided to test the waters and got bitten for it, on a Sunday! It's my fault and own up to it. The relay person for the number you call tried to have a conversation with me about it and I just said I wasn't interested in discussing it and it's my fault. 4. Make sure to limit the number of valuables in your car when parking. There are still transients in the area who will hang around and will break in to root through your belongings. There are a couple of sketchy folks who will hang inside the parking deck area so watch your six and look out for other people walking in or through the deck to make sure they stay safe. When in doubt, call the police and report a suspicious person. Some helpful hints: 1. For some reason their mobile ordering option has stopped functioning, even when sitting inside. It gives me the one on Spring Street as an option. I've tried it from far away and it still isn't working. It's either a glitch or someone messed with it. Hopefully it gets fixed soon as I use it quite often when there is a line at the counter. 2. The bathrooms now have a code. Just ask for it when ordering something. I'm thinking they did this because of the transients washing themselves in there. It was an issue at the last building as well. It's a bit of an inconvenience but it's made a difference.

Yelp
This is one of the coolest Starbucks on the planet and I've been to Amsterdam, England and many other places. It's located right downtown in the middle of Atlanta. Lots of construction is happening in this spot so it's exciting to know Atlanta is growing up to speed with being a front runner in the world! Today I enjoyed the Tanzania Reserve coffee! It has a wine like characteristic with a subtle sweetness. I love this coffee and I got it because I gave a review for the BMW dealership I bought my car at! The staff is always friendly, the place is packed and it feels very hipster and artsy here! Sitting on the outside patio is a must as it's situated right on Peachtree Street with all types of action happening! Be on the look out for Baton Bob the cross dresser who likes to dance all in the streets in his funny attire!

Yelp
I got a grande reserve mocha with vanilla + the barista recommended putting it in a venti cup instead to give me max whipped cream and drink. I love it. Amazing customer service. I feel like the seating is just ok but I'll go back to a Starbucks everytime for a great barista.

Yelp
I love the special reserve menu, the drinks are always fantastic. The baristas have given me excellent drink recommendations and routinely provide excellent service! The physical location is small but parking is easy and the wait is never very long.

Yelp
Thank you so much to this Starbucks location for saving the day for me this morning! I had a business catering order to be picked up two doors down at Vitality Bowls and the staff never showed to open the store. Starbucks was able to quickly get me enough items to meet my needs during the morning rush when I thought it wouldn't be possible. Every single part of the team worked together to help me out in a crunch all the while tending to the others customers. I HIGHLY recommend this location. Quick, friendly, and professional.

Yelp
The Starbucks employee taking my order was literally TEXTING on his cell during my experience today. LITERALLY TEXTING ... Only pausing long enough to look at the register keys every 3-4 seconds ... U N B E L I E V A B L E ... Is this the experience Starbucks wishes for their customers? What's the expectation???

Yelp
Since I usually just order a tall hot tea (five stars for Tazo's Wild Sweet Orange) at SBUX, I cannot comment on the quality of the coffee here. The thing that surprised me about this Midtown Atlanta location was that people actually hang out here. While there I saw folks addressing Christmas cards, a guy playing chess, people on laptops, people having business-type meetings. And a great many of them were young and fairly good-looking. Demographically speaking, there was a good male to female ratio. You know, in case that's important to you.
