I went through the drive-thru and we were the only car there at the time. I ordered a pink drink but had to repeat myself three times at the speaker box. When we pulled up to the window, we were greeted by a partner who immediately asked, in a rude tone, what we were waiting on. We explained it was the pink drink, and they said it was still being made.
About three minutes passed and we hadn’t even been asked to pay yet—then we were suddenly handed the drink without any mention of payment. When the partner asked again what we were waiting for, we said we still needed to pay. I mentioned I was a partner and gave my partner number, but had to repeat it multiple times because the partner kept responding with “huh?” and wasn’t able to enter it correctly, even though I said it slowly and clearly in pairs.
Eventually, they entered it correctly but said “it didn’t work” and asked to scan my barcode. I explained my mobile app doesn’t work, but they scanned it anyway and still charged me full price, even after I clearly explained I’m a partner.
The drink itself tasted great—but the service was frustrating and disappointing. It seems like the team at this store isn’t properly trained on drive-thru operations or how to communicate respectfully with customers.
