I’ve never seen a Starbucks like this! Despite how small the place was, the people who worked here had a big personality. I ordered the caramel crunch frappe as well as the dragon lemonade refresher. Both were so delicious. Curious on the bags of coffee they had and where it came from. One of the managers had helped me and answered my questions! As I was about to leave, the workers also gave me free samples of white mocha sips they had. Really pleased on my experience at this tiny but wonder Starbucks.

I went through the drive-thru and we were the only car there at the time. I ordered a pink drink but had to repeat myself three times at the speaker box. When we pulled up to the window, we were greeted by a partner who immediately asked, in a rude tone, what we were waiting on. We explained it was the pink drink, and they said it was still being made. About three minutes passed and we hadn’t even been asked to pay yet—then we were suddenly handed the drink without any mention of payment. When the partner asked again what we were waiting for, we said we still needed to pay. I mentioned I was a partner and gave my partner number, but had to repeat it multiple times because the partner kept responding with “huh?” and wasn’t able to enter it correctly, even though I said it slowly and clearly in pairs. Eventually, they entered it correctly but said “it didn’t work” and asked to scan my barcode. I explained my mobile app doesn’t work, but they scanned it anyway and still charged me full price, even after I clearly explained I’m a partner. The drink itself tasted great—but the service was frustrating and disappointing. It seems like the team at this store isn’t properly trained on drive-thru operations or how to communicate respectfully with customers.

Unfortunately, they have decided to disband indoor seating at this location. A Starbucks that is no longer a place to sit and talk with friends doesn’t really feel like a Starbucks. Congratulations to the manager on finding an excellent way to make customers feel unwelcome.

This was my most HORRIBLE Starbucks experience yet. The drive thru experience itself was fine, they were nice as always. However I get to my office, sit at my desk, and prepare to take the first sip of my caramel macchiato and it spills all over me. HOT, STICKY COFFEE!!!!!!! As I examine the lid it’s clear that this cup shouldn’t have been given out to any customer. It’s all bent up. The lid doesn’t fit properly or even stay on through a small sip! Now I’m stuck at my firm working with a stained dress!!!!!

Please beware!!!! Staff is ill-informed or not forthcoming with information about their drinks made! I had an allergic reaction to a drink assumed to be dairy free as Matcha is made with powder and water… even informed the associate I’d never had the drink before. I asked for oatmilk, as usual. It took two blocks for my throat to start swelling and my body immediately alerting me I’m having an allergic reaction. Not the best experience! I returned to be refunded after securing benadryl to help me make it home to recover. The pink haired guy seemed quite nonchalant about the whole ordeal which I think is SICK and outrageous this could be your family! Just beware.

I love the staff here but literally every single time I order a Venti (White Choc Mocha) they only fill the cup 1/2-3/4 of the way. Literally never even close to full. I'm paying for a Venti but I'm only getting a Tall. Every. Single. Time.

Bella and Brian gave me a fantastic experience. I love my city because of people like them. Thank you so much

When You Order Matcha at Starbucks and Get an Iceberg Instead Went to Starbucks craving my go-to matcha almondmilk, expecting a zen moment in a cup. Instead, got an Arctic expedition's worth of ice with a whisper of matcha. Seriously, I needed a pickaxe to navigate through the icebergs for the five sips of matcha hidden beneath. It was like playing "Where's Waldo?" but with matcha in a cup of ice.On the bright side, the matcha that did make it into my cup (all five sips of it) was delicious – a fleeting glimpse of the drink I actually ordered. Pro tip for next time: might ask for a matcha almondmilk with a side of ice sculpture. At least then, I'll know what I'm getting into.Starbucks, I love you, but let's save the ice for the polar bears and keep the matcha for the customers, shall we?

Yelp
We needed to grab breakfast on our way back to Florida. I reloaded my card and bought breakfast for five people. With it being a large order, they took their time and made sure everything was correct. I appreciated the way they handled us. The service was professional and friendly.

Yelp
terrible service there was I think a woman behind the counter not sure honestly rude to a veteran wouldn't let me to use the restroom

Yelp
This is a horribly designed store that appears to be App Orders or mobile order only. My Starbucks app has had issues (that MULTIPLE calls to Starbucks 800 number never can fix) and couldn't order from the mobile app even though I put the exact address in. Since we'd never been to this location before, I walked into the small store and not one employee even looked up. Then we were trapped in the parking lot line for 15 minutes. Poorly designed store and terrible customer service. By the way, once we did turn around, we went down Cheshire Bridge to cut through and the entire road is closed off. Avoid this store!

Yelp
Mobile Order: What a modern design both inside & out with contemporary structures & windows. The patio is huge with greenery, tables, chairs & lounge furniture. If you're traveling north on Piedmont Road, entering left can be a little tricky right before the mini intersection. Once you turn in, make an immediate right to go around to the Drive-Thru. From the polite voice coming through the intercom to the welcoming face(s) at the pickup window makes the visit & quick wait a positive.

Yelp
This is the smallest Starbucks I've ever been in. The cashier was super nice . There was a wait since they was short staff but it's okay. I love that they give away free coffee grounds

Yelp
Sitting in line for 20-25 min at 10am is not fun. Also no way to get out. If you are that slow you need more employees. This is awful.

Yelp
My biggest gripe is that I have come here several times and they don't open when they advertise they do. I start work early and like to pick up a drinks for the crew on the way in. I'll show up at 5:30 and they're still not open when they advertise that they open at 5. Other than that, this is the best Starbucks in the area. Never got anything wrong from here and they do like to help with a great attitude.

Yelp
Extremely friendly and clean location that feels warm and inviting on the inside. If I lived closer, I could see myself hanging out here. My only gripe about this location is the parking lot is too small for the loooong drive-thru line that is always there, so I usually opt to park and order inside. There's usually at least a 5-7 minute wait and the most recent time I went, the queue was super fast but the wait was long. It would be a better experience if they increased the barista staffing, but my beverage was delicious and CORRECT (you'd be surprised how many peppermint white mochas I'm handed that are actually just peppermint mochas). All in all, a decent Starbucks but perhaps not the place to go if you're in a rush.

Yelp
I thought all Starbucks locations would have 1,000 reviews lol This particular one is on the street I live on. When I'm not making my own coffee and want to treat myself, I skip here. The service has always been great. Around lunch it gets busy because of all the corporate companies/jobs in the area, but they do a pretty good job not making you wait long for your order. Everyone I've encountered here has been nice. If they are out of something I want to try, I've gotten good recommendations on other options. Plenty of seating, family style and separate little tables. Although I will say all of the chairs are wooden. So if you are looking for more of a COMFY seat to just lounge around on, I wouldn't say this would be the best option.

Yelp
Visited this location while visiting my brother. We put in our mobile order and drove 0.6 miles to the drive thru window to pick up our order. It was around 8am and there was a line but it moved quickly! Unfortunately my mom did not like her coffee BUT Jess at the window was soooo happy to fix it and get another one made! She was so sweet and friendly! Thanks for being kind! We will be back!

Yelp
The closing time listed on maps for a Tuesday is 9pm which is obviously incorrect. I was waiting in the drive through line with another car behind me few a few min not realizing the location was closed BUT 2 of the employees walked right past us in the drive through line and didn't say a word about them being closed. I asked out of my window and guy told me. This location is convenient and close to where I live but I was reminded why I avoid it. The same girl that walked right in front of my car and didn't inform us that they were closed is always rude when I come into the store while she is working.

Yelp
This location sucks. It's always a very long line and there always running out of food. They close way too early and and you always have to wait. It's supposed to be fast.

Yelp
This is the cleanest Starbucks I've ever been in! Everyone was so friendly and my order came out perfectly.

Dana S.

Yelp
Terrible experience today. Sandwiches came out smelling like an ashtray. I don't smoke and my whole car smelled of cigarettes from the sandwiches, it was that bad - gross! I had to drive back and return them. That wasn't the only problem either. She said it's their policy to not accept a credit card in the drive-through, so your options are to pay with cash, add all credit card and personal information to the app, to pay with the app, or step over a homeless guy to go inside to pay with a credit card there. When I said I've been paying with a credit card in the drive through for years without a problem she said the drive-through card scanner was broken. Which is it? She said both. The only reason I didn't give one star is because it has been a decent Starbucks in the past.

Yelp
I am so happy with this new location! The staff is extremely sweet and polite. The drive thru moves extremely fast with usually no line. Their drinks are always well made and consistent. The staff takes their time to ask about your day and even leaves sweet messages like this on your cups. I will drive out of my way just to attend this location.

Yelp
Every single barista I've encountered here is so friendly. They are also exceptionally fast! The line is wrapped around the building & pouring on to the street? You will still be out of there in less than 15 min. This is very hard to achieve, trust me.

Yelp
This Starbucks is a blessing! The crew is the friendliest, bubbliest, most adorable crew. They're always smiling...they always get my drink right...and they always act genuinely happy to see me. Diego, Grace, and Pablo (I think that's his name...sorry if I got it wrong) are some folks worth a mention by name, but the whole team is outstanding. **Also, Brian, Emily, and the Manager Ari (again, sorry if I got the name wrong)...EVERYONE IS EXCEPTIONAL!

Yelp
I love this location! Ali, Bryan, Oli, Emily and the entire team really go above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. I come here all the time and the service is always great.

Kent G.

Yelp
The worst place to go. Car lines wrap around building causing traffic jams. Lines put the front door. Wait is at least 20+ minutes regardless of time of day. Way to go Starbucks....

Clint E.

Yelp
I love this place. Ok, so they are located right across the street from where I currently live so convenience is perfect. It is easy to see why Ali is the manager. His attention to detail is spot on. The staff is incredibly friendly. If I had to find 1 sort of negative thing about this location is that the seating area is very small. This location does have a drive-thru so is nice for the people who use Piedmont to get to and from work every day. I usually spend an hour there early every morning. It is an awesome way to start my day.
