Starbucks Workers at a Second Las Vegas Location File to Unionize | Eater Vegas

"Workers at the coffee shop at 7220 West Azure Drive (at the intersection with Tenaya Way) filed a petition with the National Labor Relations Board to unionize with Workers United and sent an open letter to the company's president and interim CEO Howard Schultz declaring their intent to organize. In the letter they argued the company has failed to provide many employees with a stable work environment while still expecting progress, and said unionizing will ensure every team member is heard, valued, and welcomed. Clean restaurant and patio area outside. Lots of parking as it’s in a relatively quiet strip mall and tucked in the corner. The washrooms are clean. Staff were pleasant without being over the top. Had three on staff and they were managing the slow pace of the 9:30am lull. Nice to see them cleaning in the slow time. Overall very pleasant experience

Clean Helpful Easy access. Drive-up is a little funky, it's on the far left side. Sweet girl. Yummy Java Choc., Chip Frappe. Tasty bagel with butter. Smiles and hellos, all-around. I'm not sure about the "OTHER 1-⭐️ REVIEWS??" I was served very well and politely!!!

Seriously by far the BEST Starbucks I have ever been to!!! They are always spot on with my orders and they are the nicest baristas ever!!! Their customer service goes above and beyond!!! I will go out of my way to go to this location because of how wonderful everyone is!!! Love this location!!!!

Nov 2025 We stopped at our favorite Starbucks again. They are always cheerful, warm and accomodating. Service is excellent. The wait is minimal. Inside is comfortable, quiet, neat clean, well organized --------------------------- We love the people at this Starbucks at the corner of Azure and Tenaya. They are so friendly and always cheerful. Service is fast. We normally order ahead and pickup inside which is faster. They make great coffee blends cold or hot.

Don’t order from here unless you want your drink wrong. Consistently have my drink orders wrong. The manager needs to train the baristas to read the whole sticker that’s printed and not just the drink name. I used to work at Starbucks it’s not that complicated.

The staff here were not friendly and did not greete or ask if I needed help. Paige who was in a different part of the store helping other customers eventually came over and said she seen I was waiting for a couple minutes and asked if I had been helped. She then helped me but the inside was more focused on drive-thru. Will not return.

My only addiction is caffeine and it's not to be trifled with lol! The ladies here are always on point and take of me! Fast as us guests will allow, and beyond friendly! Even if they're dealing with the occasional customer from the lowest pits of hell. Lol! Only chill vibes to be had here. Try not to kill the mood! I couldn't say about the food since you I've never tried at any time. But the place, outside and in are always clean. And that says a lot to the attention to detail. I definitely don't see caffeine rehab anytime in my lifetime, so I appreciate you girls taking care of me! My fantastic caffeine dealers! lol!

This is probably one of my most favorite Starbucks. It is never too busy and they get your drinks in and out. The staff is really nice if there is ever an issue, they take care of it right away. It is a very quiet area where the Starbucks is located I feel, the drive-through is always busy. That's why I love to go into the actual building.

Ordered mango dragonfruit lemonades on 3/10/23 at 2:30pm from Durango and Farm but we went to the Azure & Tenaya location...oops. They were so kind and made our orders there. Very friendly and fast. Store is very clean and organized.

I guess don't order matcha from this location. I put my order in 7 minutes before I got there and then proceeded to watch them skip over my ticket for the next 15 minutes. From where I was standing I can see them pick up my sticker before putting it back down to make whatever order just came out of the printer. I was gonna say something but at some point I just wanted to see how long they were going to do it for. Then it came out sub par.

Worst and slowest experience at a Starbucks drive thru line ever. The lady working the drive thru at around 1:20 this afternoon was so rude and short with me when I was placing my order. I am never rude to service workers but the rude barista pushed me to clap back since she had such a horrible attitude. Since I had time to think about the interaction for 10+ minutes in the drive thru line, I concluded that maybe the headset is broken or it is challenging for workers to hear orders due to the street noise. The same woman was rude to me at the window when I asked for a splash of oat milk, rolling her eyes and telling me they were out. When I asked for almond instead another barista kindly completed my order and cashed me out. My advice to the management here is to ensure that your workers have proper working equipment to do their jobs and stress customer service skills. The problem is not everyone because the girl that served my drink was polite and professional. On top of being treated like serving me was a horrible inconvenience and waiting over 10 minutes for a red eye, my drink was lukewarm and the coffee tasted stale.

Worst Starbucks location!!! Ordered tomato and mozzarella focaccia hot sandwich and it had literally half a tomato slice and one basil and half slice mozzarella look at the pics and it was cold too!! Don't order this from them!!!!

The "customer service" representatives are no more than a rude version of the animated price points at Wal-Mart. The coffee they served me initially was cold. They did fix it without an apology. The food I ordered was cold in fact, it was frozen in spots. They offered to replace it in a rude tone. I believe health code requires a temperature check of all heated food. I was ordering for someone else because I refuse to give my money to an establishment that has notoriously proven to have poor service. This particular Starbucks once had excellent service as well as excellent quality of product served. What happened? Not sure !!!

Waited a substantial amount of time in the drive thru. Finally we 3 adults and one tired elderly dog placed our orders, and paid with a very generous gratuity. A mile or so driving away we discovered that they FORGOT to give us our pupicino! That was the entire reason we went, but didn't have another 20 minutes to wait in line again. Total heartbreak. Where's the love?

I just got a bold cup of coffee with light cream and in a rush so can't go back but it tasted like it was made yesterday. I drink a lot of coffee and this was lukewarm and nasty. Come on guys you know coffee has to be made fresh in the mornings. Home now and will throw it away.

First off they were rude and had a not so great attitude. But also the store was pretty much empty and when my drink was done they didn't let me know until I walked up to them at the counter. I also didn't order a drink that should be foamy but 1/2 my drink was foam. Overall a bad experience.

Now, I'm definitely not a Starbucks fan. I sat in while I waited for an hour to go to my interview close by. While I waited I worked and watched the passersby. These girls are busting their butts. There was a good morale behind the counter and the supervisor was very good at keeping everyone on task without killing the vibe. And this whole place was a freaking Vibe. The music was on point, the tables are clean, the ladies were FUN. They deserve some props. Be sure to tip these peeps. Beautiful Starbucks, kind staff, great drinks. I will be studying here more often.

Was there in the drive thru, ordered my drinks with no problem. It was until I was at the window when the DTO had us sit there, no greeting, no "this is your total"-- nothing and the window was open the entire time! I believe their name was Ander. It was only until the drinks were ready that they finally addressed us with, "Are you ready to pay?" Excuse me? We sat there in silence waiting for you! I never had issues with this location and I understand if it was a bad night but that has nothing to do with me. Do better!

This Starbucks is always on point! I appreciate the staff, they are so friendly and always greet us at the door. They remember my order as soon as I walk up to the counter , definitely a place where everybody knows your name . My brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso was on point!

I've come here for years! I love this location! Today June 22nd 2022, around 130pm (ish) lol I went in to spend my stars before they expired and get a refresher. The guy who helped was AMAZING! (So bad with names, sorry y'all) he was super friendly and knowledgeable about all the newness on the menu. FYI try the new paradise drink! It does in fact taste like a virgin pina colada. As I was leaving, I told the ladies making my drink to have a nice day, they both stopped to make eye contact and very sweetly tell me to do the same. They were super busy, but took the time anyway.... It made my day!

I've been wanting this specific since I saw it weeks ago & went on a wild goose chase trying to find it, everyone had sold it prior to the designated release. Naturally, I started hounding every Starbucks within a 20 mile radius lol...I found the Azure location & spoke with Alexis & Natalie, Natalie over exceeded every expectation I had, she took my name & number & I assumed it was pointless. I called the store today & began rambling about this cup & the friendly voice on the phone asked who I was, I replied, "just a customer looking for a cup!" Her response was, is this Jay? I said yes, she said, we were busy but I was going to call you, I have your cup! I almost cried! Apparently this cup is a hot ticket item & she made sure to take help me. I couldn't be anymore appreciative. This is by far my favorite location, great managers, outstanding customer service!

Don't you just love when you order from the app, go in to have your order and drink already made ? I absolutely love this location. They're always so nice and friendly when I walk in, they're fast, they never mess up on my orders. All the other Starbucks I've ever went to never read my instructions always mess up my order but this location is always on top of it. Thank you Starbucks staff you guys are all amazing

Awful Starbucks. In fact, maybe the worst one in existence. I visited today and ordered a venti blonde coffee with cream, simple enough right? After receiving my coffee I asked the barista for a "stopper". At which point she looked around and stated "It looks like we don't have any" then turned around and ignored me. All with an attitude that would have gotten me killed if I said it to another person. Y'all are lazy, and if that's the extent of your search into my inquiry the. I truly feel sorry for you. The manager at this location should be ashamed. Putrid service.

Well, I really appreciate the customer service at this Starbucks in North Las Vegas/ Aliante area. I had spoken with two mangers about the little snag I had while Orting. However, both mangers especially Ms. Emily on 12/4/2020 was AMAZING! Great CUSTOMER SERVICE wonderful interpersonal skills and a beautiful smile! I explained the situation didn't happen on her shift but she still took care of me with a happy heart! Thank you so much Ms. Emily for treating us the way you want to be treated!

By far the worst Starbucks I ever went though!! Extremely rude staf! Took them 20 minutes for 3 drinks.. got the wrong! Size Asked to speak to the manager she was out so the bought out a supervisor the supervisor was very rude and through on us a four dollar gift card for or order! (Like that $4 is going to something when my order was more then $20 and I wasn't looking for any money back) and then somebody out of their staff had the audacity to ask me if I order the same three drinks daily! Wtf it made me pull up my Starbucks history! Definitely by far the worst Starbucks experience I ever had if you're seeing this review avoid this Starbucks at all cost!

They are just very rude and my mother and I are paying patriots we got our drinks yesterday and they decided to call the police on us for trespassing and they had lied to the police officer saying that we were camping out on private property for 5 days when we did no such thing my mother was in the hospital and I was in California and I do have a full access service dog so this Starbucks on tenaya and azure Dr have completely lost our business and we will not be returning back.

One of the slowest starbucks locations I have ever been to. Takes like 20 minutes to get a drink made, their "machine is broken" every week, and they don't discount anything for people that have been waiting in the lobby that ordered ahead. I think the only time i've gotten something in a reasonable time is when I ordered around 2pm. This is the only store I experience this at, so I am not sure if it's poor management or the store just isn't as functional as others.

Yes this is a high traffic Starbucks but hard there are lots of hard working staff inside. 5 stars would have been left if I hadn't witnessed Barista Sami blow up on fellow coworkers. Everyone is just trying to do their job. It did not create the best environment inside but everyone else thank you for your hard work

Be nice to the all girl crew there today. The line is enormous, your order will be wrong and take forever, but they are sweet and bless their hearts they are trying hard. Mostly new staff. Despite the line, drive thru is less painful than witnessing all the under trained staff fouling up one order after the next. They are handing out free gift cards to apologize for the experience. Remember, you were new too once.

Well, this morning, I decided to go get myself my favorite Caramel Apple Spice cause... 'tis the season or whatever. I have been going to this Starbucks for years, with that being said. I have NEVER had a bad experience. I walk into the store and everything seem normal. I ordered two drinks one for my teenage daughter and one for myself. So the called out my name and only gave us one drink , no worries things happen so I walk up to the counter and was about to ask for my drink. Well I was told to MOVE out of the way . I ask her for my drink and she still had the audacity to tell me that she gave me it already. EMM with her green hair was the rudest person I have ever encountered at a Starbucks ...

I didn't see hot chocolate on the menu, so I asked the barista about it, and she said they still had it. When I asked about specialty flavors, she listed all of them and I opted for the creme brule. My first drink was incorrect - it was iced instead of hot - but it was promptly fixed and very good, as was the blueberry scone. As I was leaving another customer was being really whiny about Starbucks enforcing the statewide mask law. I remember how unpleasant it was to enforce the law when I worked on the Strip, and how unreasonable maskholes can be. The Starbucks workers did not deserve to be yelled out and I'm glad the manager came to the front to deal with him. Don't worry, you won't have to deal with him anymore. I ran over him with my car in the parking lot. I could have just let the virus take him, but why make more work for doctors and nurses when he can go straight to the morgue? Sorry about the mess in your parking lot.

Went here today at 7:40pm and the doors were locked?20 minutes until closing and they're already closed??Hmmm doesn't make sense to me. Funny thing was I wasn't even there to order a drink, I went to get a gift for my mom. Kind of sucks when your hours say closed at 8pm but your employees lock the doors 20 min early. Doesn't seem right? Or mostly doesn't seem like a smart business move. Shouldn't matter if someone walks in 5 minutes to closing, you should serve them with a smile and thank them for their business. Instead your doors were locked early and we got dirty looks from your workers like we were doing something wrong trying to open the doors that were locked 20 min early. Get it together Starbucks, or should I say the employees of this Starbucks.

We ordered our coffee at 336pm and got our coffee at 351pm. There were no other people in the store. There were at least 6 staff present who were just goofing around and very loud. When asked where our order was they just replied someone is making it. Ridiculous!

My least favorite Starbucks! My drinks are always wrong they always seem in a rush and don't let your drink be wrong and ask for it to be fixed! They really get upset and make it worse. The overall attitude and vibe is a no for me. I always want to go there because I have to go to the shopping center every other day but I pass it up and stop at another Starbucks

Starbucks... Where would we be without high priced oh so yummy coffees? I mean it's not their fault really, it is ours. We humans love da java bean! It is traded on stock markets, we use it to make drinks, to season foods, we eat them, and who knows what else some people do with them. ;0 - Side note Coffee was first found to have its amazing properties by the Ethiopians around or before the 15th Century. I must say I really enjoy this Starbucks aside from the fact they seem to close at 7PM...I know right? The Java is what one would expect and the staff is very nice and can get chatty with ya when it is slow. This particular Starbucks has a nice interior and never has seemed too crowded when I have been there along with the Wi-Fi in the area makes this a nice pit stop for a pick me up. I've been coming to this Starbucks for years and never had a problem with them . Lately the past few months I've had my order be wrong and the tall guy would fix it , it was starting to be annoying that it was happening more often but whatever I keep going for convenience since I live around the corner . But today I had enough I won't be going back anymore . The girl with the green hair forgot my drink a regular venti brownsugar oat milk shaken . When I got to the window I told her she got my order wrong . They made that drink in less than a minute and it sure did show that it was rushed . First off the cup was full of extra ice and the liquid started at box line where it says shot ! Okay they were short whatver got it and left Im annoyed she got it wrong . When I took a sip that dang thing tasted like straight crap !! No sweetness to it no cinnamon powder just espresso . I know what it should taste like considering I go 4/5 a week for that drink . Im sorry but a $6 drink in the trash would upset anybody !! You just lost a loyal customer .

I want to thank Miss Mary this morning for being so kind and polite and not judging my parenting skills. All the other times I've been to this location and I've ordered Starbucks with my high school daughter in the car, they've always told me that there's non-coffee options available. I go to Starbucks maybe every two weeks so it's not like I order coffee all the time for my high school daughter but when I do I always get the judging look and there are non-coffee options available as well. Mary did not do that this morning and was kind and polite and had a great smile on her face. Thank you Mary!

Literally every time I come here the staff is nice and makes the drinks great. Recently I stop here before I go to work. My drinks have been wrong but they remake it :) just now I went and got a caramel macchiato once I stirred it, it is basically white and all I taste is milk....

Unfortunately this Starbucks just can't get it right. I always order ahead. I use the app and walk in to pick up my drink it is always wrong. Can you imagine liking sweet coffee and instead of getting extra pumps of syrup they always always always give you extra pumps of expresso. This always happens at this starbucks or they don't put any syrup in my coffee at all. My gosh are you out of syrup by the time I get there? I have never had such bad baristas. After this happening again today for the 5 time I will be heading to the Starbucks on Centennial to see if they are any better.

I don't know what's going on with this location. But it seems that since the remodel they have gone downhill.The staff that is so slow. I'm currently at the 18 minute mark in the drive thru. And it looks like they don't multitask. I get my baked good and then it takes another couple of minutes to get a simple coffee of the day. Also I don't know if they put a sewer pipe near the drive thru window but it reeks now while you're getting your order. Fix this place please.

Came at 7:25 they don't close till 8. Waited in the drive-through for 5+ minutes and no answer. Said hello multiple time but the woman didn't answer. Drove up to the window and she was on her phone completely ignoring us. Thought Starbucks had higher standards than that. This isn't the first time we've had a problem with them either.

Wow, my first time at this one and it'll be the last. Went through the drive-thru and ordered my usual of trenta black tea lemonade (sweetened) and 2 birthday cake pops (don't judge!). I should backtrack and mention that with only one car in front of me, it took 15 minutes for me to get to the pick-up window. Unreal! I then waited another 5 minutes for someone to come to the window. The guy was in NO WAY the usual friendly Starbucks employee. Handed my food out, took the money and never said a word. Finally gave me my change and drink. I pulled away annoyed and became more so when I realized I had no straw. Ok, I can take a lid off and be old-school. First taste let me know they had NOT sweetened it as requested. I thought to myself, "Well maybe he didn't hear me." I then looked at the sticker on the cup and nope...he heard alright. *sigh* Still trying to be positive, I remembered my cake pops...yay! Took one out of the bag and took a bite without looking (I was driving...stop judging!). It was mushy. YUCK! I looked down and saw that it was clearly left out of the refrigerated case and had become almost melted. Again, YUCK! Sooooooooo, again I repeat that I will NOT be back to this location again. Hmph.

This location is between my house and my parents' house so I'm a frequent visitor. Between my 2 girls and I, the drink orders can be quite challenging and this location is sort of hit or miss. The ever changing staff could be the culprit, but nonetheless the convenience of the location still draws me in. The lines tend to get long during the morning commute, yet they seem to move people through pretty quickly. On the occasion that I've had to send drinks back, they have been very apologetic and cooperative.
