Reading prior reviews of this location, you would think that you are going to receive an inferior product with substandard customer service within an unfriendly environment, right? Wrong. I didn't see any of these things.
Apparently, this Starbucks is under a new management team. The manager (Lakisha) is quite a proponent of listening to the customer and getting the order right the first time, and the staff is far from rude. My visits at this Longview location (one of two in town, I think) found the service prompt and efficient. Even the seating area in front of the barista stand is so comfortable that you just want to kick back & relax to the sounds of the Starbucks music network.
The only thing that I truly hated about this location was the parking lot. WORST. PARKING LOT. EVER. I mean, really, Starbucks engineers???? Whoever designed this parking lot needs to be judo chopped in the neck! You design your parking lot to where it backs up directly into drive-thru traffic? If a car hasn't been t-boned already in the drive-thru, its a miracle. I really can't explain it. I've even parked well across the street to walk over, yet with the way folks drive in this shopping area, you really do take a life risk.
Nonetheless, this Starbucks location is ok. For now.
