Starbucks

Love Starbucks, I love the variety of flavors they have.

Tucked just up the block on 32nd street from Penn Station, this Starbucks is an easy stop for coffee and rest. The staff are unfailingly friendly and the coffee is “S’bucks” strong. In the afternoon I’m able to find tables or benches to ease the wait for nearby trains. The Manhattan prices are what they are: you’re paying for space and atmosphere. The tall tables and benches discourage loitering (which helps keep folks moving here), but the nearby outlets are quite convenient for a charging pitstop. Pretty consistently clean and peaceful, considering the chaotic bustle and screaming noise of nearby midtown.

The service at this location is horrendous. There were several members standing around laughing and joking and not making orders while the store was very empty. I had to stand and wait for 6 min just to get a tall drip coffee. Other locations make that immediately. Horrible service.

Just wanted to take a moment to share an appreciation post for BIANCA at the Pennsylvania Plaza Starbucks store. After being let down through DoorDash for items that were not delivered to me, nor getting a refund back, you turned my day around with your kindness. I truly appreciate your kind gesture! You went above and beyond. Starbucks can definitely use more gems like you ♥️

As a tourist from Switzerland I can actually see how busy it gets and I don’t mind waiting a little longer for my coffee. Some of these people that complain about waiting during the busy hours are ungrateful and inconsiderate to the hundreds of drinks and food items the staff there has to prepare. Learn to be patient Americans.

Clean, efficient and consistent....I do like their coffee.

Recommend trying the new Melon Burst drink!! really refreshing 😍

Packed with people but serves pretty decent priced alcohol!
