How We Spent Our Family Vacation: A Kid-Friendly Ski Trip in the French Alps | Condé Nast Traveler

"Often called the world’s most beautiful Starbucks, this ornate café near the Opéra lived up to the hype enough that I felt it was definitely worth seeing. Grabbing a drink there was less about the coffee and more about admiring the grand, decorative interior that turns an everyday chain into a surprisingly memorable stop." - Jordi Lippe-McGraw

Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte Will Soon Return

"I feel end-of-summer dread compounded by Starbucks announcing the return of its Pumpkin Spice Latte, which some say could be back as early as August 28. The PSL is treated like an enshrined calendar event for its cult of cinnamon-loving devotees, even though I think it tastes like an equal-part mix of sugar and radioactive pumpkin glop. I can't help but wonder whether it's a mind-control beverage (MCB) engineered to enslave Americans by exploiting our collective desire to live off nothing but sugar — if boldness about bringing the PSL back in August is any indication, it may be too late. God speed." - Chris Crowley

Report: Millennials Hate Iced Tea Now

"After adding cold brew to its national menu in 2015, this large coffee chain helped move the drink from trendy local cafés into the mainstream: cold brew quickly outpaced regular iced coffee in popularity and contributed to increased overall coffee demand. Its steady, mild flavor also made the beverage well suited for bottling and canning for on‑the‑go sales, a format that appealed strongly to millennials." - Kari Sonde

Robots Still Suck at Making Lattes

"I read that Starbucks has "no plans to add robots to its 20,000 locations," a fact CNBC double-checked, indicating major chains aren’t rushing to adopt this kind of automation." - Clint Rainey

Google
Another ever so tlstarbucks ...starbucks! Menu currently set to all your fall favorites as it is October! The drinks are nice and hot or cold if preferred with their refressing taste. And the staff are very friendly and welcoming! The customers however, oi vey. Everyone could use a little kindness. Understandably it is a beautifully architecture building thats thats no excuse to be upset over the crowd or rude to the staff. Been multi times here and unfortunately the customers all seem overly hostile. Kudos to the staff for holding their joy and kindness despite the customers grumpiness. Swing by for a coffee and look around but be wary of the atmospheres

Google
I was recommended to visit this Starbucks on Boulevard des Capucines in Paris—not so much for the coffee (it’s Starbucks, after all) but for its stunning interior design. Housed in a 19th-century former bank building, it features ornate ceilings, marble columns, and grand chandeliers, making it one of the most beautiful Starbucks locations in the world. The coffee is exactly what you’d expect from Starbucks, but I was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of pastries, far more than what I usually see in the U.S. It was a bit warm inside during my visit, but the atmosphere and architecture more than made up for it. A must-see stop for coffee lovers and anyone who appreciates historic Parisian elegance.

Google
Date 13/10/2025: This SB outlet is most beautiful Starbucks around the globe. 5 stars decoration. But the cafe Latte lacks the aromatic taste and Barista must be trained to communicate with customers in minimum English. When we enquire why 3 cafe latte was made instead of 4, the barista keeps smiling with us. When we requested for the receipt to articulate our request he said bye bye to us,🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Google
I'm not a Starbucks fan, but this one is truly one of the most beautiful Starbucks in the world, and since I was in the neighborhood, I didn't want to pass it up. It's so beautiful that most of the time is crowded, so you'll struggle to get a table. Once that's done, you can enjoy your coffee, which tastes the same in almost every country. We accompanied it with a delicious slice of pie. I recommend not skipping this visit.

Google
A surprisingly impressive Starbucks with a stunning interior—definitely one of the most beautiful locations in the chain. The grand seating area feels more like a historic salon than a coffee shop, and it's a great spot to relax or work if you can find a seat. Unfortunately, it's often very crowded, and seating is hard to come by. Still, if you're looking for a familiar coffee in an unforgettable setting, it's worth a stop.

Google
This has to be the fanciest starbucks out there haha the architecture and paintings are beautiful. Prices are fair, the tea was good, the pain au chocolat no so much. Great atmosphere and not so crowded, perfect to work on your computer

Google
I have visited the prettiest Starbucks in Paris. It’s set in a stunning old building, and the inside is full of charm with frescoed ceilings and chandeliers. It’s not like your usual Starbucks. Even though it gets really busy, it’s definitely worth a stop to grab a coffee and take in the view.

Google
Incredible! I traveled to see a Starbucks?! It’s unbelievable but definitely worth it! With its old decorations, you still feel like you’re in those times, drinking your coffee! Though the entrance is very modern style of Starbucks.. It’s a bit crowded, hard to find a seat with plug to use laptop

Yelp
First and only Bucks of the trip but it feels good to have a big black American coffee and a restroom. Served by a woman from Brooklyn.

Yelp
Starbucks but with Parisian flair! I'm not sure what it was previously but the decor is opulent similar to a church. The decor is the reason to go. It's such a beautiful place to sit with a cup of tea or coffee. There is lots of inside seating and some outside. There is a bathroom that you don't have to pay to use. It is basic Starbucks food with some French influences. The pastries are a little different and a little tastier. A few different specialty drinks were available that aren't in the US. I was happy to get a larger cup of tea. The staff were nice. Several spoke English which was helpful in ordering.

Yelp
The only reason I am visiting this place was because I am from Washington state-- and very curious how Starbucks is represented in France. It was the worse service I've ever had you guys. Quite embarrassing! I don't know if it's an off day, but I don't need to speak French to know that staff is F-ing around. I ordered just a simple iced coffee black. Simple and basic yes? So they gave my order as hot coffee-- no big deal. Then he just dumped into a cup with ice with his thumb finger inside the cup. I saw it and I asked for another one. He said "no"! Then I tried to communicate, but he ending up laughing with his coworkers and really pushing the drink for me to have. Defeated, I threw it away. Other people were also complaining and the kids behind the counter were just playing around, throwing things, laughing--- omg merde! Ambiance -- yes it's nice and cool. But everything was a disaster!

Yelp
Beautiful Starbucks. The entrance doesn't look like much, but once you step inside all the architecture is amazing. Plenty of seating and a nice spot to sit and relax for a bit. We grabbed a few drinks and a couple souvenirs. This was a nice pit stop for us.

Yelp
The best Starbucks in my life. You will feel like you're in a movie. Don't miss this place

Yelp
Not your typical Starbucks. The interior of this Starbucks is divine but be prepared for a lack of seats and with Emily in Paris wannabes who can't even figure out how to convey their Starbucks order in either English or French. Once you walk in, the service area snakes around the mug and coffee display. If you want a collectors mug or bottle, this location has the best to offer. I placed my order and then went to find my wife up a short flight of stairs in the dining room. NOTE: There is additional seats to the right of the toilet towards the back if you don't see any right away. When my coffee was ready it was made in a mug. I can't tell you how exciting it was to drink my latte in a mug. My wife's dragon refresher did not come in a glass but a paper cup even though several other refreshers were in tall glasses. There were a lot of students and remote workers occupying the seats which was cool but also frustrating if you're looking to catch your breathe after walking a good portion for the day. If you can deal the crowds, it's a spectacle to be seen.

Yelp
Maybe the most beautiful Starbucks interior I've ever seen. Located in a convenient spot by the Palais Garnier, easy walking distance to shopping. At the end of the day it's still a Starbucks coffee, good but not great. Still a fine place to sit and work

Yelp
You are GORGEOUS... you're literally... GORGEOUS A little too crowded. Everyone is here for the videos and pictures. Still worth checking out. Def worth the visit.

Yelp
The most beautiful Starbucks I have ever been to! The interior design in this place makes me feel like I'm in some sort of royal palace with its chandeliers and ceiling murals. This Starbucks is super packed tho! We were not able to find seating which was a bummer. It also took a while for our drinks to be done and they forgot to make one of our drinks so we had to ask for it after waiting for quite some time.

Yelp
I will give 10 stars for the decor and ambiance, 4 stars for the service, and 3 stars for the actual coffee! Wow, you will only know you're in a Starbucks if you look to your left upon walking in, otherwise you'll think you're walking into one of the dining halls in Versailles. I was blown away with the intricate art detail and murals inside this Starbucks. I am pretty sure it's only as crowded as it is because people come to have coffee as "royalty" and take photos and videos for IG. We walked in to get some coffee and were pleasantly surprised by the interior. I ordered a hot vanilla latte and my husband ordered the brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso. I received an iced latte which tasted very watery and odd, but his drink was decent. Again, I was too mesmerized by the beauty of this Starbucks to really care about my drink at that point!

Yelp
Very cute interior decor, but good and coffee just regular Starbucks quality. Was a good place to rest after Opéra tour. Many were taking pictures inside

Yelp
This is one of the most unique and beautiful Starbuck I've ever been to. However, they don't have AC and it was so hot inside. It was very crowded on a Sunday night of September. I couldn't even breath inside. I didn't try the drink. They have the same menus like in U.S. they also carry Paris mug collections.

Yelp
A very long distance from home and it is nice to have that same feel and service experience wherever we go. The Starbucks cup of coffee is a welcome thing no matter where we are in the world. The ambiance of the location was unlike any other.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful Starbucks! Everyone was nice and the drinks were amazing. Got some refreshers and a pink drink

Yelp
The most beautiful Starbucks in the world. I sat for a bit and enjoyed my coffee because this place is so pretty! Fair warning; it is loud and crowded like a food hall I usually get coffee and pastries elsewhere, but this is the only place that'd break a €100 note at 7am.
google avatar

Yelp
It's a beautiful and large Starbucks. The building fits into the opera district. Not all the employees speak English. Even though I only asked for a tall coffee, repeating myself slowly, I got it iced. Most of the employees are friendly, few are snooty. There's a lot of seating but most of it's taken up. Keep walking to the back and there's more seating. Free WiFi.

Yelp
Hot latte with soy on a rainy Parisian evening. Far from home but close enough with a tasty sip of coffee. Great service ! Needs cleaning, otherwise good customer service.

Yelp
First of all, this is the fanciest Starbucks I have ever visited. We were on our way to Galeries Lafayette when we stumbled upon this location. We were just going to grab-and-go but after seeing the interior decor of this place, we had to stay and enjoy it a little bit. It is so pretty inside; it felt like we were having afternoon tea at the palace. It is actually quite big, but it was incredibly busy and loud. People were waiting in different areas, trying to spot where others were about to get up and leave (similar to eating at a busy food court). This was our first time visiting Starbucks in Europe. The pastries are a little different from Toronto, but we did not try them (considering there are so many better patisseries in Paris!). With regards to the costs, we notice the pricing system was quite similar to others stores in Paris that we have in Canada as well. Basically the numbers were quite the same but in euros; i.e. a tall coffee costs $2 with change in Toronto, while it costs 2€ in Paris.

Yelp
It was so nice to find native Paris people knows English beside I really felt like I am back home in California for the service and the same menu from USA See you next time

Yelp
I'm not sure why I'm reviewing Starbucks. Starbucks is kinda, well, Starbucks. The pros of this one is obviously the decor. It is REALLY PRETTY and I was amazed when I first walked in. That said, it's extremely hard to find a seat even if there is a lot of space. It also makes for a pretty loud afternoon/evening. I also like to try out the different things each country's Starbucks offers. This one had nothing special that I can recall (I think I tried a cinnamon bun that a friend recommended). I am in no way against Starbucks. A lot of my friends work there and for a quick cup of coffee, it's not a bad way to go. That being said, there are a ton of other options with more interesting views and people watching.

Yelp
OMG you cannot believe how excited I was when this opened! I was living in Paris for 10 years before we had our first Starbucks. I would visit other nearby countries and see them proliferate across Europe, yet nothing in France for the longest time. This became my drug : I know they say French coffee is the best, but nothing beats a caramel macchiato ... Conveniently located near 2 other famous American landmarks in Paris : Harry's Bar and Brentano's bookstore ... So start with the coffee, find your favorite book and head over to Harry's Bar for that special bloody mary :)
google avatar

Jayaram R.

Yelp
It's a Starbucks, not much to ponder about and write. Decent fare, I had a nice hibiscus drink. This one near the Opera is quite large. And full, from opening hours to closing. It's expected given the location, but it's so full of tourists! It feels like a furnace inside as well. My advice? Emporter! Or find a better one that won't have you sweating, and frustrated without phone reception.

Yelp
Location is amazing and the building is so beautiful it makes you want to stay all day. Of course the free wifi is great also and there is a bathroom. But they have a sewage issue and it often smells horribly. It doesn't stop me, i go often, and if the smell is particularly strong, i leave, but obviously they have an issue so dont be surprised. It is very conveniently located to the Apple store and an easy place to meet people. The food and service is very good and they are always very pleasant.

Yelp
I love Starbucks'! This one is located in a very cool area in Paris. The place is huge and I like the way they ve done the shop. But but but... it is also very noisy, service is terrible (they are slow and not so friendly) and above all, it is filthy! Go a few blocks down the Opera Avenue, you'll find a much peaceful Starbucks.

Yelp
Good fraps , strong Wifi signal, pretty good service time even during rush hour. Great atmosphere.

Yelp

Yelp
Best looking Starbucks I've ever been to, plus the AC was really good here during summer time so this was my spot which is very close to my hotel.

Yelp
Nice decor but that was it. My croque-monsieur had frozen bits though they reheated it. I ordered a hot chocolate and got a chai latte. The place was a furnace and the wifi signal wasn't good.
