Love studying in this Starbucks location - great staff excellent customer service.

I just wanted to give a shoutout to the incredible staff at this Starbucks. Their warmth and attention to detail really made my visit exceptional. I've been here several times, and each time I'm greeted with the same level of friendliness and care. I especially want to thank the lady who took my order today, her name is Beatriz, I love how you're very careful and attentive, always listening to my order to ensure it's just right. It's rare to find such a consistent and welcoming team, and I truly appreciate the wonderful experience they provide every time I stop by. Keep up the fantastic work! ❤️

Always space to use my laptop. Near the 1 bus stop and easy to get to. Stays open till 8:30 while the other Starbucks closes at 6 or 7 pm. Bathroom mostly in service. Order time is usually reasonable.

Great bunch of staff here. Free wifi and access to power outlets, if laptop needs charging while doing school homework or other work. Restroom is always clean. Never a poor experience and I visit twice or more a week.

Starbucks is Starbucks. But the barista Annabelle goes the xtra mile to make sure you have a nice time. This is my first time in SFO and she made us feel welcomed and gave some info about the city too.

We got some snacks and drinks . I asked for some extra milk the manager she said I have to pay .75c . I was shucked. I was a manager at Starbucks we never treat customers like she did . This is not a first time she treated us like that . This Starbucks manager need to know about better customer service

There's a cutie there, I think her name is Annabelle. Very upbeat, smiles all the time. I get my ice coffee and she pulls out this rainbow straw and energetically asks if I want a "free straw" I laugh and tell her no, appreciate it. Then I go to sit down and wait for my food order (mobile) and she brings it out to me. Kinda unexpected these days. It's the little things that make this world a better place.

Nice and convenient Starbucks location on Fillmore near all the fancy boutique shops. It's also near Alta Plaza Park where I would sometimes take my pup for play dates & meets, so this is a great spot to stop by to get some refreshments. Sometimes this location can get very crowded, but generally it's not too bad. I like my drinks here and service friendly.

Checked in around 10:30 AM to get some studying done. Coffee and service was standard and good. Not super busy. However, music is so loud. Don't come if you wanna get good studying done. I also have Bose noise cancelling headphones. Could be a vibe for another time but not for studying

Service was good Ambiance was also good For the food, I ordered the Berry Trio Parfait with a Grande Peppermint Mocha. I had a sudden craving for berries and granola yogurt. Somehow, I knew Starbucks had this menu item. The peppermint mocha tastes good. This happens to my favorite drink this time each year especially with the holiday season upon us. It is nice to see the holiday vibe. Coffee with peppermint and chocolate tastes good. The peppermint and chocolate gives the cup of coffee a flavor boost. Staff members were friendly. You can also order via Starbucks Mobile App or in person at the counter. Great way to promote flexibility, convenience.

This place is awesome. I am from the Midwest and woke up way earlier than any human should, lol. They let me order ahead of time via Uber eats and I got my food minutes after 5am when they open. The food was warm and friendly. Always full of flavor. The drinks were exactly as I asked. Definitely going here again.

The staff that work early morning weekdays are a bright spot in my day. Fillmore has a lot of tourists and foot traffic but there's something to be said about the regulars that you see every day who become friendly familiar faces. This is also one of the few Starbucks where employees make one-of-a-kind drinks and hand them out as free samples. 4 out of 5 stars only because the power outlets are few and far between.

I've been coming to the Starbucks for several years; the staff is always friendly, greeting me by name and generally know my order before I ask. The manager at this location is incredible; she runs a great team and has been kind to me many times. I love my egg bites that I get there and they are always yummy. The ambience is also friendly.

They run out of certain drinks toward the middle of the day, but since it's so close to a medical center it makes sense. There are quite a bit of people that stay to do work. Usually not too busy, and you can always order ahead on the app. They're pretty quick with making the drinks. It's a decent Starbucks store, and it's very convenient if you want a quick coffee in the area.

Great little Starbucks. Super cute and cozy. Walked right in and got a latte. The Starbucks was buzzing as it was morning time. Very friendly staff and great latte. I will go here again.

The ladies at the counter were extremely helpful and kind! They made my coffee fresh to ensure that I had the best flavor!

In the history of all the Starbucks I've been to ... in and out of state... this by far worst customer service. Mind you I have been a shift lead at Starbucks years ago. Walk in. No greeting. Go to the counter. Ignored. Go to mobile order counter. Ignored. Lady comes in behind me. "HELLO MAAM HOW IS YOUR DAY HOW CAN I HELP YOU?" Did I miss something? I got over the not being acknowledged up until two more people came in and were promptly asked how they could be helped ... so I happily walked in front those two customers and said "ma'am I am so sorry I need to speak, ok so at some point could someone check if there is a mobile order for Ebony because no matter which counter I stand at, apparently no one has interest in assisting me for whatever reason." Let me go ahead and note I was dressed nice and not disheveled at all (kudos to me I rarely if ever go even to target disheveled lol) anyway yes I'm pulling the black card because that was the sole difference between myself and anyone else in the establishment ... so what other conclusion would I be able to gather ? I was dressed nice, polite, said so many variations of hi and hello to multiple associates to get their attention only to be ignored but everyone who walked in after me was greeted ? Yeah no. Y'all enjoy your whites only location I know better for next time :)

The service was good and got my order right, for the first time. The bags that they place the croissants in, had a cute touch to it, the "Barista's" wrote cute jokes on the front of the bag & the answers on the back of the bag. It's a very nice way to start the day, especially with all of the "Covid 19" & "Shelter in Place" going on, it's just like alittle "Sunshine" to start your day/Morning. Thank you!

It's a normal Starbucks. I suppose people don't five star this place after their everyday order. Had great and friendly service the many times I end up in this neighborhood. I didn't even want to review this until I saw the reviews. Christ people, not everyone is out to get you and spit in your five spice latte. Out of a thousand orders, yours might be wrong, the barista doesn't notice you, some machine breaks down... it's all good. It's coffee.

This is like a joke, I order 2 mango dragon fruit without ice and this is what I got!!! Not even putting both into the same cup I get a full cup!

this is by far the best location i've been to! i come here daily and every single day all the baristas greet you with a smile & a "hello" or "good morning" the manager is extremely sweet, they recognize my order & name wether i go in to order or do mobile order. it's things like that that make me keep coming back!! everybody is so friendly & the service is always so quick! can't say enough good things about this location

They did not have what I wanted. No sparkling ice tea. Otherwise this was a average Starbucks. Nothing special.

Never been to a Starbucks were it took 20mins for a Frappuccino. This branch sucks So much for being a nice part of town

Was here on a mid-afternoon and the line to order was to the door. A group of about ten students from a nearby high school just came in and were in line. Luckily, the group were placing their orders with one of the two cashiers, which allowed the other cashier to service the other customers. After a wait, I was able to order my drip coffee and was on my way. Service was friendly but I would need to come back to see what the ambience is like when it is not as crowded.

I don't usually rate chains but wow. The floor isn't swept. The milk and sugar station is a mess. It looks like someone spilled milky curds there. I don't even want to take a photo. It's that gross. None of the tables are wiped down. Finally, my drink has no froth and the barista left out the vanilla syrup. It's not hard to be a Starbucks. A corporate office develops your recipes. You just have to make the drink correctly and clean the space.

It's a Starbucks. Most of them aren't that different from each other. A few months back, this was a below average location. Slow, dirty, with a perpetually understocked bar area. It's recently been renovated and things have turned around. The furniture is new, the baristas are fast and friendly, it's pretty clean more often than not. My only minor quibble is that the new speakers over the tables are loud, which makes it hard to work, study or have a conversation. Baristas probably can't hear it and may not recognize it.

very disappointed that neighbor hood Starbucks cannot make a decent warm fresh drip coffee. I parked in the front and ordered in the car and walked in without getting the confirmation. This morning's coffee was cold old and definitely not pike. When I tasted it I went back in and stated the taste and temperature. Not so professionally they asked me to throw away the coffee and then they gave me the same cold old coffee again. Returned and finally they gave me a decent warm Pike coffee. This location lacks customer service skills and how to make coffee.

I've been ordering here for the past few days and there are cute written notes on my orders / bags are what make my morning wonderful. To whoever is running this team and to everyone working in this location, you guys rock! I've been going to this Starbucks twice a day for almost two years reason being it's right next to work. There were times where I have encountered rude staff, not getting my money's worth. Lately I've also noticed if I order a drink without ice this is how they treat You and provide customer service .. The hell are customers paying for ? A vente for a grande size ? Basically playing customers. It's not even about the money it's just the type of service I have constantly received and noticed since the past two months. How they play you with your drink when you ask for no ice. Funny because I've been to plenty of Starbucks in the city and they are always very professional and give your money's worth. Would not recommend. I'll walk half a block extra to go to another location instead.

As a former partner (left a year ago), this is by far the worst Starbucks location I've ever been to. The baristas always seem Ike they have something better to be doing than interacting with the customers. I'm never greeted when I get to the register and when I asked for a receipt it was practically thrown at me. To add, it took 10 minutes for me to receive a bagel I ordered with literally nobody ahead of me in line physically or via mobile order! Those take 2 minutes to heat up! All I know is, you're better off going to Peets right across the street. The attitude and lack of care isn't worth it.

I asked for whole wheat bagels - I got a regular bagel. I asked for a double brew - I only received a single bake. We were with a small child (3 years) we asked to use the services said they were / are not good and we were referred to the competitor's shop on the other side of the street Service not good!

Friendly service, typical Starbucks drinks. It was surprising that the bathroom didn't require a key or code. It was still pretty clean though.

This is my favorite Starbucks in the city. I have gone here nearly every day, sometimes twice, for years now. Within a few days of going the first time they knew my name, several of the baristas were very friendly and would chat with me like more a friend than a customer. It's way more homey and friendly than you would expect a corporate coffee shop to feel. For a while I had a very elaborate 6 ingredient drink and within a week basically everyone knew it as soon as I came in. They just go the extra mile here and it's appreciated. A special shout out goes to Annabelle who was the original barista that made this place special the first few times I came in years ago. She's still there and basically sets the standard for service and drink preparation. I also have noticed a marked improvement in the store over the past year since the newish manager Kate started. The shifts seem fuller, the wait shorter and the drinks are more consistent. I've been to other Starbucks in the city and, I won't name locations, but it is night and day the way going to this one feels vs some of the others. I go out of my way to come here when there are other Starbucks directly on my route to work in the morning. They put in the extra effort which makes me feel like it's worth me doing the same. Great job guys!

I simply can't understand why I had to wait for a simple order, an iced latte, for more than 10 minutes. I literally watched the staff chatting and sitting in the counter while another staff was struggling with the current and online orders. When my order was up it was the wrong drink and asked that it be corrected. STILL the other staff sat in the counter and continued to chat to the other coworker. I finally had it and asked that they pour a hot coffee as I was in a rush. Come in Fillmore Starbucks. You can do better. With Blue Bottle up the street. This is the last time I walk into your store. I hope your regional managers are watching these post. There is no excuse for your staff to be sitting in a counter where food is prepped. Chatting!!!!!!.

What no mugs? So I came too this Starbucks because I needed caffeine. I asked for my usual with an extra shot and the barrister suggested a blondie because it was a little cheaper. She became my new best friend. Thanks Katie Anyway while I was waiting for my coffee, like a good little yelper I explored the little joint (joint in SF?) Being SF, space is a premium therefore it's small. Seating limited to about 20 seats and to make up the space they sacrificed shelving room. I didn't see any specific Starbucks city mugs. I'm sure the got them at the airport but of course a hefty price. Yea this was a first for me. The dark wood decor made the place look more like a old time western saloon and that gave it a great distraction from all the other modern looking ones. It's like night and day when you describe this Starbucks to the one in Waipahu. Read that review right? The coffee was just what the doctored ordered. Extra hot with a tad of sweetness. Perfect for the cold weather here. Overall four stars. Service and coffee great. Lack of seating and mugs knocks one off. Now excuse me, I haven't been in this part of the city in 25 years. Like a good little yelper, time to explore. M

Came here for bagel & the java chip frap. It's okay but I like my bagel crunchy and they toasted it where it's still soft and mushy. The frap is standard. The SB on 2nd makes me say, "This is so good" when I get my coffee and I makes me so happy. Maybe it was all that sugar. :) What I do like about this SB is the location and it's very quiet other than the sound of music and brewing coffee machines. Lol! There's a Pete's coffee across the street but I noticed this particular homeless person is always loitering in front of their door. Makes me very hesitant to go in or else I prefer Pete's around this area.

This is my (work) neighborhood Starbucks, and they are always good about getting drinks out in a timely manner. I really have no complaints about a well-run, well-stocked Starbucks. Even on a busy day, the worst that I've encountered is not having a private table to sit at (which isn't a dealbreaker, since the communal table is the trend nowadays). Keep up the good work!

I've been working in the area for almost 3 years and I never had a problem with this Starbucks until Friday 03/20/2015. After my last visit I will highly suggest thinking twice before coming here. After ordering my Turkey Bacon Egg White Sandwich I was surprised when I sat down at work to eat my breakfast that I found part of a sticker and what looked like mold to me on the sandwich. Upon returning to Starbucks to show them, I was met with NO APOLOGY AT ALL. Not ONE sorry at all. The woman at the front simply took the sandwich and tossed it in the trash and had another made. This is NOT a "Sorry I screwed up your Soy Mocha with a Soy Latte, let me make you a new one," situation. After this whole experience anyone in the right state of mind would think twice coming here because obviously they have a very low level of customer service and low level of health code standards. My husband and I walked in to Starbucks 5 minutes before the close time and asked the female employee there if we can still get one drip coffee to go. She said yes but as soon as we walked up to the cashier, he said no and that he won't serve us anything. I politely responded that the female employee there said we can still get one drip coffee to go since it was way before closing time. He then rudely responded he is the supervisor there and he won't serve us anything. Let me say that we still had 5 minutes before closing time, all we wanted was one drip coffee, the Starbucks door was wide open, and a female employee there allowed us to order a coffee but her male supervisor told us to leave because he won't serve us. He (Kevin the supervisor) was absolutely RUDE and his response was UNACCEPTABLE! Starbucks corporate should fire him immediately!

I love my Starbucks gift card from Christmas that I registered online. It provides me free flavor shots, free soy milk (which I have become obsessed with!), and now more. Right now, with my card, I can order a Tazo tea latte for $2 even with soy milk (would otherwise be $3.45). I got an exciting e-mail from Starbucks announcing this exciting special deal... I tried the black tea one today and it mostly just tasted like tea because the tea flavor overpowered the milky/latte flavor. I'll give the other types of tea a shot though too and report back...

This could be my new happy place. When I walked out of the valley of confusion, up to a higher place on the hill, Starbucks was waiting to greet me. They had comfy leather lounge chairs that I could just disappear in. There was a long fabric-covered banquette along one of the walls, and a nice bench in the sunlight outside. In the early morning it was quiet and serene, a perfect place to gather my thoughts and share a few intimacies with my Lover. Later, after the service, it was full of -- what were they, college students? -- people with their assortment of personal laptops doing something I gathered was constructive. Some of them were even plugged into house power, along with the wifi. A tall nonfat latte was $2.55, just like downtown. A couple of weeks ago a minister made me laugh when she thanked the congregation for attending the celebration when they could be nestled in a lounge chair, enjoying a bear claw and a cappuccino. I had just come down from this happy haven to be at the church. Yes, it's true. When I want to go to my happy place, this space will be a prime candidate.

Updated review: this Starbucks definitely got put under new management and hired new, friendlier, and harder working employees. I have never been in here and waited more than 5-10 minutes for my order, they are all so friendly, and it's the service you come to expect with a Starbucks. Docking it one star for the new decor. Am I the only one who doesn't like it at all? Feels so cold! Anyway, great job getting your act together Starbucks Fillmore! This Starbucks is such a mess. If you are looking to just walk in and not mobile order, be prepared to wait minimum 15 minutes in the morning for something as simple as a plain coffee. Some of the workers are very nice and seem like they are trying, but the ones who I always see there are so miserable and rude. Today I saw a woman ask the girl making her drink to just scrape off the whipped cream on her coffee, she asked for no whipped cream, and the look that the worker gave to the lady customer could have killed. Then the poor lady apologized like it was her fault the girl didn't properly read the instructions on her cup. I also ditched a breakfast sandwich I mobile ordered today after waiting 15 minutes for it because I had to run to a class. That was 10 minutes AFTER the Starbucks app told me my stuff would be ready. This place is just consistently a disaster, they need a good manager to come in and help it get its act together.

Either it was the real cushy chair I was sitting on, or my Cafe Americano was just weak... coz I ended up falling asleep at this coffee shop, UNINTERRUPTED, for a good 15 minutes! Hope I didn't snore! = P

My coworker wanted a San Francisco Starbucks mug. This was the first Starbucks I was near on my trip so I came in to get him one. This location does not sell any merchandise, only food and coffee. So don't come here for your collector mugs! We ordered coffee anyway. Mine was fine but took forever to be made, while my friend and BF who ordered right before me go theirs right away. My BF didn't think they put the 3 shots in that he asked for. It got the job done, we got caffeine, but no mug.

I came in around 7 PM to get a clover coffee and to use the bathroom. When they took my order, overheard the two baristas talking if the toilet is cleaned before they close at 8, and the male barista said he did. I kindly asked if I can use the bathroom because I really need to go but got denied because its already closed. On top of that, they said they could not make my clover coffee because they already closed the clover machine for cleaning. They close at 8 PM (1 more hour)... This is unfortunate, especially that this store is a Reserve Starbucks Store. You can definitely tell that the employees just want to go home early and close all the equipment and facility 1 hour in advance to leave ASAP after closing...

I like big starbucks and I do not lie. With their free itty bitty sample size fraps and yummy yet fatten food from pastries, bagels, and wraps. I get excited! By the generous amounts of seating and comic books to read. makes me so thirsty that I order a vendi while surfing the net on my laptop with the free sucky att wifi

I live a block away from this location and frequent it enough to say that, on a whole I've enjoyed my past experiences. I was actually a little surprised to see the scathing reviews. Yes the baristas can always be friendlier, and faster. But I personally haven't encountered anyone super rude. They've also done a GREAT job with the updated interior decor. *HOWEVER*, they do need to have someone sweep up the place throughout the day. Too often the floors are scattered with pieces of trash, wrappers, and it just makes customers feel like they're walking into a dirty place that's not well cared for.

Pros: fast service, wifi, power outlets, restrooms (only one of these is available at Blue Bottle up the street) Cons: Not a big fan of their commune table (too high, too cold); can be noisy; no sidewalk seating; no trash by the door - if you are drinking your coffee close to the windows, you need to go all the way through the crowd to dispose of your cup at the back of the store and then double back through the crowd again.

This Starbucks has an excellent location and must be doing real well. HOWEVER... It is poorly managed. It is well staffed but patrons still have to wait too long for their order, especially when it is simple! The quality of the pastry is not fresh! The morning bun was soooooo dry. This was at 7:30 this morning! Nov. 11, 2019. Won't stop there again.

For coffee: good. You know what you're getting and the staff are polite. For food: nope. Starbucks has something like nine ham+cheese+egg sandwich options. And one no-ham option. Guess which one is always sold out? For this vegetarian/ham-free couple, we skip this location when we're looking for anything more than coffee.

They spelled my name right. Drinks are gud in the hood. You should definitely come here to get drinks. Yyayayayayayayayya
