Starrett-Lehigh Building

Went to a wonderful event o Tuesday March 18, 2025. It was an event at FASHIONPHILE Flagship Store 601 West 26th St. Suite 400B

Large mixed use building with offices and a large market with restaurants downstairs, this building is a nice hub in the far West Side of Chelsea. If you happen to be in the area, check out Olly Olly. Multiple multinational firms operate from here and is another example of good use of repurposed space in the area.

I went to the Cicero Project at this building. Great space and the staff was respectful

Quiet Building

My boyfriend and I are always looking for ways to enhance our dates. When he asked if I wanted to check out the Basquiat exhibit, it was a no brainer! I missed the opportunity to get tix early on so I was rather excited. The gallery and the Basquiat estate did a phenomenal job with this exhibit: better yet - EXPERIENCE. As native New Yorkers and Brooklynites, this really hit home for us. I grew up on JMB's work, as my mom was always big on the art scene and exposing me to cultural events/activities. This exhibit took us about an hour and a half, as we wanted to be present, but also get some great pics. Which there's no shortage of! If you're unfamiliar with Jean-Michel & his work, this experience will give you a real sense of who and why he was. I was blown away by this and I cannot wait to see it again with my mom !

I was here many years ago doing hair for Kanye West's Fashion Show and this year I came back to do Make Up for Fashion Week Brooklyn. I'm pretty familiar with the area by now and love it there.

I went here for the marketplace of the future event that took place on the loft on the 15th floor. The space was big enough for about 15-20 vendor tables and a small stage area for a band. The view from the wrap around outdoor patio was gorgeous. It's unique since you can spot the Empire State Building and the Freedom Tower from the same spot. It was also quite spacious. For this event the amateur astronomer society set up some telescopes here to look at Saturn (and I saw the rings)! A giant chess board was also set up, but appeared to be more permanent. Probably used by the workers in the offices in the building on their break. Bathrooms were in good condition. Looking forward to attending another event here in the future.

This is for SECURITY INDUSTRY SPECIALIST HIRING TEAM! I went to the hiring event and honestly the person who interviewed me, was being very arrogant with me. He didn't introduce his name. And not to be racist because I am black myself but he was black and have his own office. I noticed the family picture behind his desk. He really made me uncomfortable. About my recent job description I was working for home health aid. He asked me if I was unemployed and I told him yes. Then he says " why would you leave health aid if you don't have anything to fall back on?" that was disreputable. I had to tell him i have money saved up I'm going to be good regardless of me getting the job or not. The hiring event started at 10am I arrived an half earlier, which shows a lot. Then he stated "You guys work for high end stores on Madison Avenue" By him saying that is down playing me and I don't appreciate it. For retail. I applied for EVENT security. Not retail. He never smiled ONCE. or even asked me to introduce myself. I don't know if he had a bad day, but I wasn't confident in my interview because his approach was off. He down played me, and just for being black we have it hard as it is. I felt like he didn't want to get to know me or wanted me to have a chance to work for the company but hey life goes on. You can always reach out to my last security job and I'm pretty sure my manager will mention nothing but good things about me. But I appreciate the opportunity. Just decided to give feedback.

Starrett-Lehigh has a lot of cool & hip tenants, BUT -- they also have a long-standing and extremely profitable lease with the New York headquarters for ICE Investigations. They also try to hide this fact from tenants and prospective tenants. With good reason! If you're thinking of leasing with Starrett-Lehigh, you deserve to know that going in. But otherwise, it's actually a very cool building and offers a lot of great amenities and tenant programming. Get them to push to get out of the ICE lease and it'd be perfect.

Bike parking on the weekend is aweful. The staff is not helpful. Its like they dont want my business

Dont go to the gym here. Few equipments. Close during weekend. And they make it so hard to cancel or terminate membership even when the contract is ending. They requires a handwritten letter or typed and signed with signature and hand in person. LMAO

A great building to work in but your job still might suck. - mine is ok Sitting right on the Hudson it's a block wide and a block long and it's where I have gone to work 3+ so I am partial to it. The building is filled with large and small companies mostly in the realm of fashion, art, design, photography and casting callers. However there are lots of different companies throughout the building. Side Notes: . Beautiful women walk the halls, eat at the cafe, go to the miniminimart . Large docks and elevators that fit trucks . My new office is overlooking the Hudson
