Had lunch at Steingold's Station on the second day of their soft open. Their lunch menu is not available until next week, but the food they had was fantastic and the service behind the counter from Zack (sp?), the chef, was great. I had their breakfast sausage, egg, and cheese bagel. The house made sausage was delicious, the eggs were as fluffy as you'd get at any nice breakfast restaurant, and the bagel was the best I've had in Chicago. My wife and I each got a chicken soup that had large chunks of chicken and a great amount of herb and pepper in the broth. The side of potato salad was also great. Don't expect NYC kosher deli (did I mention the sausage was pork?), but the food is everything I'd hoped for. Looking forward to more of their food as their hours and offerings expand over the next month!

I love having a Steingold's in Albany Park! Their food is so, so tasty and the staff and owners are kind and wonderful. This location is a grab-n-go kind of spot, but on a nice day it's wonderful to eat on the patio or across the street in Manor Park.

First time here and the location is perfect. Right next to the brown line and secluded in the ravenswood neighborhood. I chose the everything bagel and it was too much for me. I would suggest getting plain or sesame bagel. Out door seating and there’s a park across the street. Not much seating inside and they also offer locke bagels as well.

I wish the food was more consistent. The quality varies from excellent to bad. Quite frankly, I typically order my food to go. When ordering to go it is important to open up all your sandwiches for accuracy. They often did not provide you with correct bagel type. I hope they read this and improve.

Love having this in the neighborhood! All the sandwiches seem to be ready-made, so you don't get a lot of opportunity for customization. But the bonus is that service is super fast, ideal when you're trying to catch a train!

Great place to pop in for a sandwich or grab a coffee while heading to the train.
