Stella Barra's draw is the pizza, made from handcrafted dough, sized somewhere between a personal pizza and a pie, with a fairly crisp crust and addicting, soft center. First-timers should start with the Bloomsdale Spinach & Kale white pizza—and the Italian chopped salad is a solid side. A pro of the Stella Hollywood location (there's also a restaurant in Santa Monica) is that it shares the same parking lot as the Arclight theater, which makes it an obviously good date-night spot: After dinner, stop at the bar in front for salted chocolate chip cookies, and then head into your movie.

A Guide to LA Restaurants Now Selling Bottles of Liquor to the Public - Eater LA
"For those who want some guidance on what to do with a whole bottle of liquor, Stella Barra has created a few kits where a 750 milliliter or liter bottle is bundled with mixers and citrus." - Caroline Pardilla
This restaurant has a really cool atmosphere. The cool night air comes in through an open screened garage door. It has an open kitchen and a really nicely laid out bar area and even a little bakery in front. The pizzas were just the right size and really good. We had an issue where they accidentally put truffle oil on our pizza instead of olive oil and they very quickly replaced them and took one off the bill. The service was friendly but it gets crowded and for us was a bit slow. But the nice atmosphere and company can always solve that. Overall, it was pretty great and we'll probably look for a reason to come back soon.

A bit of a busy but efficient pLce to eat. Waiter took his time to explain the menu and offer suggestions. Quality of the food was great, although I'd skip the meatball sliders. Physically they don't work and you'll wind up just eating it with a fork and knife. There seems to have been some kind of pastry case near the front for those with a sweet tooth or one of the local professionals working in the area to grab and go about their busy day.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant, especially when it's a rainy day. Made a reservation and service took a little while to get to us but the experience was still enjoyable. Their pizza is great! Would definitely go again.

Really great pizza that is made to order and visible from the open kitchen. Good atmosphere and would be good for small groups up to 4 or so, but really suited well for two. Staff was very friendly and casual enough to feel comfortable. Would really recommend for fresh pizza and just a great place to relax and talk, while there is music, it's not loud enough to drown out conversation!!

Tell them to under-toast the toast. It’s delicious but way too hard and injures the mouth. Good food. Great drinks alone or with a group.

Bartender recommended the seasonal and was chill the entire time I was there. I ended up order both the Brussel Sprouts and white pizza with mushrooms... both of which were great.

It's a chain but you will not notice. Seems as if this place is a one of a kind and one and only! Great pizzas here.

What can you say, it’s amazing! The atmosphere is electric, great music and vibe. O and the pizza 🍕 soooooo goood.... The chefs are in plain sight spinning and making the pizza just perfect... I went on a Saturday with a reservation, suggesting you do the same on the weekends.
