Love the symposium Saturdays. There used to be street parking but I think they took that aw1ay. Valet isn't too bad but it's always nice to have the option for self-parking that is free. The sommeliers here are awesome. Knowledgeable, friendly, and they always make a good program where I buy at least 1 bottle to go.

What a wonderful experience! I came to try “so you want to be a somm” wine flight and learn as much as possible for the certified exam. Brenda & Eddy nocked it out of the park! They were both so kind, knowledgeable and not to mention patient; I had a lot of questions. Brenda brought out a discontinued CMS deductive tasting workbook and Eddy would walk me through what I was tasting, helped me connect the dots and gave me a lot of key indicators. Tools that many wine schools would charge top dollars for. So thankful for them. PS: make a reservation or follow them on instagram they have a lot of private events. I came twice before realizing a reservation was necessary. PSS: there is one hour retail parking in front of Stella’s wine bar that valet will commandeer maybe around 4:30 but I saw plenty of people (patrons and Post Oak employees) driving into the parking lot that had valet only do not enter signs.

We had a delightful time at this wine bar. The wine selection was good and the staff knowledgeable. The outdoor patio looked like a fun spot, although we sat inside. We really enjoyed the mix and match make your own charcuterie that the wine bar offered. The unique thing for this wine bar is that it had access to menus from the other restaurants in the Hotel. We ended up ordering food from more than one location. The hardest thing for this wine bar is the parking. It's not close.

Google
Don't let the fact that it's at Post Oak mislead you; this is a gem hidden in plain sight. I was honestly reluctant to go because it's at a hotel--but it's well situated on the property and feels like a place apart. Service is great; food and wine were great; and there's good inside/outside seating options as well. I'd definitely add this to the list as a place to meet for a drink! It also doesn't hurt that the Post Oak staff is great at hospitality--so getting in and out isn't too bad at all.

What a beautiful serene atmosphere. Brenda, our server, gave us a few samples of white wine and impressed us with a Rose wine from France. Unbelievably delicious food and quiet place for a one on one date night. Definitely recommend it🥰

Google
We had such an incredible time at Stella’s! We both ordered a glass of rosé, white and red wine, and all recommendations from Elena were absolutely perfect. The wine selection (both glasses and bottles) is 10/10. The quality of the food was really great, service was attentive and friendly and the patio is beautiful. We will 100% be back - thanks again for the lovely evening!

Google
Went with a friend this past weekend to Stella’s. It’s great. It’s smaller than what I thought it would be and there’s a great patio for cooler weather, not for the summer weather. The staff is so attentive and helpful. They know and understand the varietals available. The charcuterie board is really good and the options are varied. There are also sliders and flatbreads available. I’ll definitely be back.

Google
Stella's Wine Bar is a charming spot perfect for date night or wine enthusiasts. The sommelier impressed us with a recommendation of Anderson Conn Valley wine. It was flavorful and smooth, though it did have a cork issue. The charcuterie board is a must-try! We opted for a large table and were treated to a generous spread. A word to the wise—a large board is too much for just two people! One downside is the lack of parking; valet at the adjacent Four Season hotel is the only option. However, the cozy patio setting made up for it. Despite the Texas heat, it was quite comfortable. And if you're a car aficionado, you're in for a treat. Luxury car shops nearby feature Bentleys and even a $3 million Bugatti! For wine lovers looking to explore beyond the main menu, asking for the complete wine list on your next visit is a good idea. The ambiance and selection make it a place worth returning to.

Yelp
Anything at this hotel gives such an elegant vibe. The entrance to this establishment is through the hotel - you can valet at the hotel itself and get half off basically the valet - which after the validation is $7. The hotel is beautiful and gives such an inviting entrance before the wine bar itself. The wine bar is quaint and lovely! We sat outside and they have heat lamps. It's very nice with an olive tree in the middle. The vibes are great here! The service was also great with delicious wine suggestions. I recommend a chenin blanc and the cab blend from Chile! The charcuterie was amazing too! Specifically loved the soft goat cheese, truffle Gouda, and rose de leon meat. An amazing experience here and will definitely come back

Yelp
My friends and I wanted somewhere to kick back and relax after leaving Willie G's and chose Stella's Wine Bar. We left our cars in valet since we already paid and walked across the parking lot. We brought our wine (cake bread which is a Chardonnay) over from Willie G's, (the staff brings it over for you) and sat out on the patio. Our waitress poured out the wine and brought over menus. They offer an assortment of wines, beers, meat and cheese, light bites, as well as sweets. Since we had already eaten, we settled for just the wine but later on, I got a fruit tart which they were able to get for me from the post oak hotel. The ambience was lovely and we sat out on the patio for hoursss!!!!! Even after they closed, we weren't rushed out by the staff and they were extremely patient. I'd love to go back to Stella's but since I no longer drink, it won't be the same. Now if they add some non-alcoholic wines, that'd be perfect.

Yelp
Simply put-- my trip to Stella's was stellar on Valentine's Day! I purchased tickets for the hubs and I to join in on their wine and bites aphrodisiac pairing, and it was delicious. House-made chips with caviar and crème fraiche, a black bean and avocado soup, and truffles. Yums! The wine pairings for each were absolutely perfect! We also stayed for live music, more treats, and another round of drinks including lattes. Man, their coffee is great! Julie was an incredible hostess and elevated what was an already fantastic experience all the more! Josh was excellent as well and his explanations of the wines we tasted were spot on. I hate that it took me so long to visit, but I'll certainly be back. Cheers!

Yelp
This is probably one of the fanciest, if not THE fanciest wine bars in Houston. It is located at the SE corner of the Post Oak Hotel. You can either enter from the hotel itself, or the driveway adjacent to the parking lot which is shared with other businesses. They have indoor seating with 8 tables and 6 bar stools at the bar, but it is a little tight inside. Their outside patio is larger and has about 12 tables with fans. I tried a merlot and a sparking rose and both were really good. Service was excellent and they seem to be very familiar with their wine, if you give them an idea what you like. Restrooms are, of course, in the hotel itself. They have some near the wine bar, or on the north end of the hotel, both on the 1st level.

Yelp
What a cute little gem nestled in the Galleria area. I do wish it had its own entrance, walking through the hotel is kind of a lot. I was searching for a nightcap late on a weeknight and discovered Stella's. They were open until midnight on a Thursday, with last call round 11:40 or so. The service was top notch, it was a little busy but the two bartenders were attentative. Although it was near closing, I didn't feel rushed. The cheese and meats were fresh and it was a nice amount of other goodies on the board- onions, nuts, olives. The chef's mulled mine came out very hot and felt like warm Christmas in a glass. I would love to come back here when I had more time. It was very cozy with lots of menu items to try.

Yelp
Excellent personal service. Long list of wines. Plenty of food options. Interesting flight selections. Will be back for the pleasant ambiance.

Yelp
Nice ambiance. Came here for one of my birthday activities and had a nice time. The food was delicious and so was the wine.

Yelp
This was such a cool last minute find! I loved every single thing about this wine bar, and my experience was amazing! It is an intimate-sized spot, attached to the hotel, but with indoor and outdoor seating. Since the weather was nice, we sat outdoors, where there was a nice, evening breeze. They have a wide selection of wines and almost as big of a selection of foods/bites. Wines are sold by 6oz glasses or by the bottle. We got a medium charcuterie board, which includes 3 meats and 3 cheeses of your choice. The table next to ours also ordered a medium board, and when the boards were brought out (together), the servers accidentally switched ours with our neighbors. No one had explained which meats/cheeses were which, so we assumed we got the correct ones. About halfway through the board, when we asked what each meat/cheese was, we realized that 4 of the meats/cheeses weren't the ones we had asked for when ordering. The waiter was super apologetic and brought out the correct meats/cheeses shortly thereafter. (Our neighbors also got their correct ones too.) Essentially, we got to try 10 total meats/cheeses! My favorite meat was the black pig, with a $19 supplement, and my favorite cheese was the truffle Gouda.

Yelp
Beautiful spot tucked inside Post Oak Hotel. I was part of a group attending for a holiday get together. Our group was seated on the patio. Although it was a bit cool that evening, the patio was kept warm with heaters. Our waiters were very knowledgeable and attentive. Service was excellent. I had a flight of sweet wines that I thoroughly enjoyed. I think this is a wonderful location for a date night, night out with friends or even for business.

Yelp
I visited on a Tuesday evening during the Wine Game night. Particpants of the game night received six wine sample portions, where they had to guess what items they smell and taste for each glass. In addition, they gave everyone a very cute charcuterie board. At the end, there is a sudden death match which includes an additional sample of wine. Although I didn't participate in the wine festivities, I did try the mocktails. By far, those were the best mocktails I ever had. The Spicy Hawaiian was my favorite out of the two drinks that I ordered. The other drink I had was the Edlerflower Collins. For the food, I ordered the White Margherita flatbread. It was pretty tasty and well baked. Overall, the ambiance was very cute and chic. Definitely great for a girls night, date night or solo adventures. I will be sure to return again and participate in the blind wine game night! S/N I ordered the drinks at the restaurant but they put in an order to the bar at the post oak hotel and delivered to my table. Therefore, you won't see the mocktails listed on Stella's Wine menu. You'll need to ask the server for the different mocktail options or you can pull up the menu on your phone for the other bar's menu.

Yelp
Loved this place. It was very nice for a date night or girls night out or maybe a cocktail all by yourself to unwind. They had live music playing they were very interactive with the crowd. This place has seating inside and out. They also had a pretty good menu. I would def come here again.

Yelp
My husband and I live in the area and were looking for a nice wine bar. The Stella will be our new go to. Great atmosphere, wine, food and service. The patio is amazing

Yelp
I came back for a third time, and still one of the best wine bars in Houston regarding wine and charcuterie board selections. This time our wine was an Italian merlot and it was a fan fave.
google avatar

Yelp
This wine bar is small but very cute. The service was incredible. The waiter was extremely nice and attentive as well as knowledgeable over the wine and food selections. The charcuterie is a must!! Highly recommend!

Very upscale experience! Fantastic wine selection. The service is also great. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Stella's is an outstanding experience! We've been twice now and it never disappoints. The hosts are always extremely knowledgeable and professional. They do a great job of explaining the menu in detail. This is obviously not a place to go for dinner but they have some great small bites. Highly recommend the charcuterie board! We will definitely be back again! Beautiful ambiance outside watching the fancy cars drive by.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday evening as a walk-in and was seated by the window. They have an outdoor patio area as well, and it is pretty much enclosed with plastic. The decor is elegant and refined. I love the way they display the wines, cheeses, and charcuterie. I went with the Iron Sommelier 2009 Ft Sean Beck tasting, which had 3 2-oz pours of reds. My dining partner had the ELO, which was 3 whites. I enjoyed all of these very much. I thought the progression of my 3 flowed nicely. Only complaint was that service was on the slow side and we had to flag down the server a few times. Overall, an enjoyable experience!

Yelp
Checked out this new wine bar at the Post Oak Hotel in uptown park. It's a very intimate and modernly rustic. They have charcuterie boards and bite sized snacks. Plenty of wines by the glass and over 4,000 variety of wine bottles for choosing. The staff is very attentive and can suggest wines/cheeses/meats. I've never been to a place that is so attentive to your needs and so helpful.

Yelp
I'm in love! The hubs took me here for a pre-dinner wine-indulgence experience, promising a great time, and man, did he deliver on this one. Service was excellent. Our server was wonderful- she took the time to explain the menu and was very knowledgeable. I chose the E.L.O. flights, an assortment of 3 delicious white wines, paired with the fungi flatbread. It was truly an experience for my taste buds. The hubs and I have gone to Napa, and we have tasted some pretty fine wine. I don't know if this place sprinkles some extra flavor blasters in the glasses or maybe their wines have liquid crack in them. I don't know. But they are so incredibly smooth! We will definitely be coming back here as a pre-gamer or just to sit and enjoy the ambiance. This place is our new go-to. Get used to these faces, Stella!

Yelp
Came here with the family to celebrate a birthday. Excellent service, wonderful staff. Superior wine selection with an impressive food menu. I highly recommend. Perfect for date nights, night out with friends, or just dinner for 1. Stella is worth your time.

Yelp
Love it when this happens... I came to Stella'a for their generous happy hour... after having a couple of the HH glasses of vino, I asked Jeffrey (remember that name) for his favorite... he thought about it, then brought me a glass of 2018 Casa Edi Mirafore Barolo... it was sensational! In fact, I gave it my all-time highest Vivino rating... thank you, Jeffrey!

Yelp
Cute little wine bar inside the Post Oak hotel. It's a chill but upscale vibe. We sat in the heated and enclosed patio area. Our waiter was just ok. The charcuterie board was good, as was my spritzer. I'd return.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place! It's very elegant and they have an amazing selection of wine. The food is good too! Service is top notch and the vibe is festive, classy and fun. A little expensive but I believe you get what you pay for.

Yelp
Great experience my first time visiting Stella's! Valet parking was offered through the main lobby for $7. We each opted for a wine flight that included a Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir Rose, and a Cabernet Franc -- and split the Mediterranean olives. All delicious and service was great!
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful evening, great ambiance, excellent food and a great bottle of wine! The overhead heater and stand up heaters kept the enclosed patio nice and cozy. Excellent attentive service with filling our glass of wine and water.

Yelp
Came for a birthday dinner for my wife: -Staff were all lovely, hyper attentive despite it being fairly busy - Great food, the $35 Cheeseplate plus sliders was more than we could even finish, everything was delicious - we had a bottle of Grenache that was great and reasonably priced - Great ambience 100% would dine here again

Mercedes B.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday evening for a few glasses of wine with a friend at 7 pm. We set reservations but they weren't really necessary, there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available throughout the night. Parking was awful but per the valet, he said it was due to there being an event that consumed the parking garage. I had to pay $30 for VIP valet because that was all that they had available, and still had to walk over from Mastro's. (He said I could try parking with the door man at the hotel, but that was going to be an even longer walk). The wine selection and service were amazing. I had the server suggest a medium bodied Cabernet while my friend enjoyed several of their Chardonnay offerings. We also had a white Margherita flat bread and a beef and jam slider. Both were delicious. Random fact: but they share the restroom facilities with the hotel so it was a bit of a walk. The walk was indoors and the restroom was nice, just be prepared for a bit of a walk if you're in heels. Loved this place and will definitely be back. Just hoping the parking situation is a bit better then.

Tri L.

Yelp
Excellent service, the staff are well trained, very polite, fast service. The food and wine selection are amazing. I suggest that the furniture should be upgraded to more comfortable seating, And should add some torch lights to make the atmosphere cozy. I really love this place.

Ainsley K.

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend absolutely love this place. Its our favorite date night spot. the atmosphere and people are amazing. If you come ask for Josh. He's amazing and really knows his wine. we've started just giving him a price and letting him pick and he's topped himself every time the wines are amazing and we love the charcuterie board selections. Everything- food, wine, and service- is simply fantastic!!

Yelp
We recently found out about this place and came here last Saturday with my wife. We were planning on getting some late night snacks along with some nice wine. Ordered a flat bread Margherita and charcuterie platter, then asked about a wine that can go really well with the food. Jay helped us out picking the wine for us who provided excellent customer service with broad knowledge of wine, also told us some amazing and wonderful stories about the origins of wines and their vineyards, which was very entertaining. Definitely will come back again.
google avatar

Rahmi G.

Yelp
We had great time at the Stella"s wine bar last week. What a nice place. Everyone is friendly. Jay took care of us. He did a wonderful job. We loved his wine suggestions. We will be definitely back.

Araceli G A.

Yelp
One of the cutest upscale feel to this place. The bubalicious flight was grand. Also had the flat bread pizza and the crab slider...delicious!

Chris M.

Yelp
Worth a visit just for the wealth of knowledge alone. Our visit was great! Our server/Somm was the best and provided a great experience. Snacked on a flatbread, truffle fries, chicken sliders..etc, and had no complaints at all. This is a great place for a novice or expert wine drinker. 5/5 will be returning.
google avatar

Michelle G.

Yelp
I attempted to check out this new wine bar but couldn't manage to park anywhere. 3/4 of the surface lot is blocked off and reserved for valet parking (most of which was empty) and the other 1/4 is mostly handicapped parking (all of which was full). The facility forces you to valet which is not something I am comfortable doing. My girlfriend and I ended up changing plans and visiting another establishment that was more welcoming down the street.

Alexis S.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday and the service and wine was amazing. Josh did a great job and we will definitely be back!!

John F.

Yelp
Great spot for tasty bites and great wine! Refined casual feel tucked into the glam of the Post Oak Hotel. Easy valet parking. Sommelier Julie Dalton can take you on a fantastic exploration of wine, from simple and elegant to rare and exotic, and everything in between. Truly a special spot!
