Stemple Creek Ranch | Organic Ranch, Wedding & Event Venue

Stemple Creek Ranch gave my husband and me the best day of our lives! We knew right away on our first visit that it was the perfect wedding venue for us, and we continued to be impressed throughout the planning process and wedding weekend. A couple highlights: -The wildflowers were in full bloom and the hills were bright green when we got married in early May (see photo). We got so many compliments from our guests. -The cabins on site and Zias Farmhouse make it so convenient for the family and bridal party to spend the weekend together. They also have plenty of room for getting ready, and are very nice on the inside. -Stemple Creek has great outdoor and indoor areas to hang out throughout the night, from the barn to the cocktail patio area (see photo). -Katie, the venue manager, was super easy to work with and flexible with last minute schedule changes. In general, Stemple Creek has thought of everything you might need to have a fabulous wedding day, from venue recommendations to rainy day contingencies, and we highly recommend getting married there.

Stemple Creek is amazing! The meat is the highest quality, I get whole slabs of meat and grind them down in my stand mixer and everyone who tries them says they have never had a better burger! Steaks taste delicious as well. The regenerative practices and ethical standards are apparent in every bite! We are so grateful to have this resource locally in Marin/Sonoma County!

We’ve been searching & searching for a regenerative, organic, grass-fed farm to buy our meats from. Lots of buying and being disappointed… until Stemple Creek! Their beef, lamb & pork are deeply flavorful, tender, and absolutely delicious. The way meat is supposed to taste! You really only need to flavor their meats with a little salt & pepper because the taste by its self is so yummy. We buy a big box every few months with excitement for what recipes we’re going to cook with the many options of cuts they offer. ***I wish they would add chicken and turkey to the ranch! We tried out the chicken they sell from a partner ranch, Big Bluff, and it was not up to Stemple Creek standards. We tried every type of cut & the chicken was gamey & funky tasting, the flavor was so unappetizing. I hope Stemple adds chickens & turkeys to their “flock,” they’d do them right!

Wow it was an excellent stay. Cabin was simple and good enough for a stay. Just the view from the living room window is beautiful. We stayed during full moon day. So we could witness the Moon rise and sun rise. It was like a poster in the living room. Place is surrounded by pasture lands and farm animals and they decorated the place with beautiful garden and daffodils along the road. Its peaceful and perfect for relaxing. In the In the morning birds sounds and the cow moos and in the night cricket and frog sounds were soothing to listen.Outside the room there is a little cattle smell but it was not bothering.I think it was expected around the farm. Its best place for farm or barn wedding .Recommended for many friends and we would love to stay again.

Stemple Creek Ranch was the best decision we made for our wedding. When we toured the ranch initially, it was love at first sight. It felt comforting and inviting every time we visited. The ranch did not disappoint on the day of our wedding either. The trees stood tall, the fall flowers were in bloom, and the sky was painted with beautiful colors amongst the golden rolling hills. Additionally, the site managers, Lauren and Katie, are also the best humans. We are so grateful for them. They were flexible and supportive throughout the whole wedding process. They also added so much joy to the day of our wedding as well. Stemple Creek Ranch will always hold a special place in our hearts because our favorite day was there. We can’t wait to come back to visit one day.

I had a horrible experience staying at the ranch with my family. If there were an option to give zero stars, I would. 1. When we arrived, the rooms reeked of an old man's sweaty body odor, especially the beddings. I am quite certain it hadn't been cleaned since the last guests checked out. 2. There were bugs such as ants and spiders crawling all over the bunk bed. I took photos and shared them with Lisa. However, she accused me of lying and claimed the photos were taken somewhere else. 3. There were no amenities whatsoever - not even basic essentials like shampoo or soap. When requested, it almost felt like Lisa was annoyed by us requesting for it. Overall, this place was dirty, poorly managed, and completely misleading from the online descriptions. If you need a clean place for a family trip, do yourself a favor and refrain yourself and stay far away from this ranch.

Beautiful ranch for an outdoor barn style rustic wedding. They have 2 separate place for the bride and the groom getting ready separately. I like that the rooms are good size room. The main restroom for the venue is quiet small I think for the size of the venue. The men only have 1 stall.

We've HipCamped here a couple times. It's magically a cool 70 with a breeze when other places are roasting. The quiet and isolation away from others is priceless. And the surrounding towns are just a short drive for you to explore. I could get used to it here. Haven't stayed in the rentals but they look darling. Would be an awesome spot for an event.
