Steny's Tavern & Grill

We came here so we could take their bus to the Twins v Brewers game, but we ended up being pleasantly surprised. I got the passionfruit margarita and split the crab rangoon dip with a friend. The dip was amazing! The wonton chips were big and delicious, and the dip was perfectly done. Not to mention, how handy was the fan bus? Would definitely recommend. (My only complaint was that it was super loud, but it was a sports bar, so what do you really expect?)

Reuben sandwichs and Reuben egg rolls were fabulous but the real MVP is the artichoke dip best I ever had hands down. I went right when it opened at 11:00 a.m. and within minutes it was packed. Drinks for really good too I had the margarita my friend had the bloody Mary. I'll definitely be back

Really enjoyed Steny's! Lively atmosphere. They even offer a shuttle to the Brewers games!

Steny’s is a classic! Just recently went for $10 burger night on Tuesday. It’s a great place to watch a game if it’s not too much. My burger was solid, definitely what I’d expect in a pub burger, the fries were a little salty but that is something I know some people enjoy. A Milwaukee staple.

No to bad, drink where ok. The wings where very tasty and fresh. I do record this cozy bar.

Great food, good service. Bartender said they have sound on for all Brewers games, so when they decided not to play any sound for the final game of the series against the Dodgers, we decided to head somewhere else. Would have stayed for the entire game if they actually had the game sound on.

Listen! Steny's has never missed for me! I absolutely love their wings, their Steny bombs, & their OG Mac & Cheese with crispy chicken! My God everything about them is AMAZING!

Stopped by here on the way to brewers game and ended up just eating here because our tailgate got rained out. Waitstaff obviously is very good at handling the brewers rush. Didn’t wait long for service and they made sure our beers never went empty. Must try is the crab Rangoon dip served with wonton chips. Was the favorite item for our group.

The Friday night seared cod entree is the best I've ever had. Highly recommend! Our waitress Jackie also made the experience wonderful! Thank you.

Had a great time at this Tavern last Sunday. We had several different bartenders - all fantastic - and finished our experience with Luke who was exceptional. Cannot wait to go back.

This is a great bar to watch a sports game and drink but I can't say anything else that's positive about this place. The food quality, the service, the prices all have made this place more and more less desirable to go to. The 'best wings in Milwaukee' are no more and the quality, texture, taste, grilled flavor is just not there anymore and def not for 20$ for a dozen wings. Last time I had a pizza and everything was wrong with it. The crust was poor quality ingredients, the cheese and tomato sauce had no flavor or original taste and the pizza was warm not even hot costing us more than 20$ for it. Also the servers kept coming up to us every 3 minutes I swear asking how was our food, do we want more drinks up charging us left and right while we were in the middle of conversations. Avoid going here unless you getting shuttle to one of local sporting events.

I will continue to go for the vibes but the food is still just meh. I will always stand by they offer great service and help you have a great time with some great drink specials. We had the bacon ranch pizza which just did the job but didn't do anything more than that. I think my biggest things are as a pizza lover the inconsistency in the crust. Still plan to go to stenys for a fun evening with friends or to grab drinks. P.s my wife says the nachos are worth it.

I've been here other occasions and even attended a private party in the back room a few years ago. Food is always fantastic and staff are always kind and prompt. Tonight was no exception. Stopped here for a snack and brew to take the shuttle to the Brewers game with a friend. We split the Ruben rolls and had a drink. Loved the rolls, we thought they were filled so full and the sauce was tasty. It's what is inspiring a future Ruben roll crawl- I'll keep you posted on that- but these are great! Next time I want to get a crab Rangoon pizza

Our AirBnB for Summerfest is half a mile from Steny's. So for the last couple years we have been having lunch, dinner and/or drinks at least once a day and catching the shuttle to the festival. Servers are friendly and the whole place has a friendly, neighborhood vibe. I would come here regularly if I lived in Milwaukee. The only thing I might not order again is the pizza. Everything else has been great.

Just went back to try the food at Steny's, and I'm so impressed! Last night, a friend and I went to Steny's in Walker's Point for their burger deal, and it was fantastic! I'm a huge fan of a good smashburger, and this one did not disappoint. The griddled onions were such a nice touch. Heads up: it comes with just cheese and onions, so I added lettuce, tomato, and mayo, and it hit the spot. The burger deal is their Signature Smash Burger for $12 and it comes with fries or chips. I definitely had leftovers for the next day so it was well worth it! The atmosphere was that classic dive bar vibe--perfect for a laid-back bite in an awesome neighborhood of Milwaukee. Our server was amazing! She was quick, attentive, and friendly! She really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome by stopping to chat for a minute or two. And my Bloody Mary was on point! They keep the toppings simple with just a pickle and olive, but sometimes less is more. I'm already looking forward to going back!

This was my first visit to Stenny"s and it did not disappoint. First impression was the great vibe. It felt comfortable and fun. Our server Josie was fantastic. She had such positive energy about her. No request was too small. I had the G Thang salad as a wrap and suffice to say it was over the top good. Sweet and spicy and very satisfying. It was served with a ton of very good fries. I forgot to take a picture this time. My friends had the smash burger which they raved about. I will absolutely be back. I wish I could give it 6 stars.

Came here for work meal, typical bar atmosphere...loud, uncomfortable seats, sticky tables, etc. had cheese curds (3.5 stars) and chips/guac (3.3 stars - could have used larger portion of chips), and had wings and dill pickle pizza for main course. Wings were very good (4.5 stars), pizza wasn't bad either, very unique (3.7 stars). Service was very friendly and attentive, def a spot for wings...

This is a great sports bar with more than enough TVs to ensure you will be able to watch your game from any seat in the place. Bucks, Brewers, Packers, and Bills fans will feel right home at Steny's. The staff provides friendly service and is attentive. Regarding the food, it is great pub food. For appetizers, you can't go wrong with their cheese curds. I tend to get wings when I visit, there is a great selection of dry and wet seasonings. My personal favorites are honey BBQ and lemon garlic. Steny's has a large drink menu with plenty of high-quality micro and macro beers and their bloody marys are some of the best in town.

Stennys is a great place to come and watch any of the games literally any of the games. They probably will have it on one of their many TVs in the restaurant. The wings are good and typically what we come to order. They always have a good rotating tap and have good offerings in bottles and cans as well. This place is really great if you wanna catch a bite and drink before the Buck's game as they have a shuttle that'll take you and pick you up to I believe all major Fiserv events. The servers and bartenders are a great time and the ambiance is really lively. The space is large and they even have a back space when it's really packed and popping.

We went on a Thursday night (wing special). It was extremely busy when we got there for football and the wing special. There are tons of TVs throughout the entire place regardless of where you're sitting. We ordered the Cheese Curds for an app with katana (highly recommend) and they have a great rotating beer list. The wings were very crispy which I like but were not very saucy. I believe this is how they serve them looking at other reviews. Not a fan of that style but they were still good. The service was still good even with the place being packed. Would go back again! Check it out if you're in the area.

Was looking at lists of where to get wings. Stenys original were on that list but I was underwhelmed by the flavor. Fries weren't amazing either. Pretty big bar and I liked the sour I got, but wouldn't come back for the wings.

Honestly, this place gets stars just from having a kitchen that is open late as much as anything else. I cannot overstate how great it is to be able to find a place like this for after a concert. I suspect that the parking situation can get iffy at times, just based on the size of the nearby lot, but this place is totally worth the inconvenience. I actually placed a to go order on the way back to my hotel after a concert, but from what I saw while waiting for my food, the place has great dive bar vibes. As for the food, I cannot recommend the Crab Rangoon pizza enough. How other restaurants haven't copied this, I'll never know. The fries are also great. I don't know the next time I'll visit Milwaukee, but I know when I do, I will stop by here again

This a wings only review. I actually haven't tried anything else here besides the wings cause what's the point? There wings are some of my favorite and always get it when I'm back in town. Our go tos are the spicy garlic and the garlic Parmesan. When we eat there we keep them sauces and there is a nice extra char from them grilling the wings. When we get them to go we get ''em naked and they're so crispy and still just as delicious. Definitely go and eat the wings!

This is an ideal place to watch sports games. Great beers on tap with large tvs everywhere. Great for big parties as well! The food is way better than your average bar food. Highly recommend the wings!! Always a nice and enjoyable time with great staff.

Steny's has all the beer you could hope to drink, great daily food specials, and spectacular monthly pizza and wings flavor specials. We used to live around the corner, and were never disappointed by a night that started or ended at Steny's. Great gameday spot also, but make sure you get there in plenty of time to get a table, it gets packed quick.

Never misses. This place has been top of the top for wings and drinks and any other sports bar things you want. So many TVs. Staff/bartenders are incredible, always crush it

Stopped by for brunch this weekend and usually I love Steny's, but didn't have the best experience this past time. We did have a big group and our waitress did a great job because I'm sure it's tough with larger groups, but a few things were a little off. I ordered coffee and the creamer I received was a bit old or moldy - definitely not drinkable. I'm glad I saw it before I added it to my coffee. I also ordered soup, which I was told would come out before my salad, and it ended up not coming out at all and was forgotten about. My salad was great, and the chicken on top was delicious. I'm sure things happen where things are forgotten and stuff isn't great 100% of the time, but more than 1 thing wrong was a bit frustrating, especially since we were there for a celebration.

Fairly large sports bar. Decent food. Lots of TVs to watch sports. I had a burger with a gluten free bun and fries. Fries are hand cut and generously seasoned. Burger had a good flavor. I'd probably skip the GF bun and just do a lettuce wrap next time. No complaints and will likely return.

Waited at the bar with a menu for almost 20 minutes and the bartender didn't come back to take my order but they did stop and help the people next to me who came in after me so I left. Really unfortunate because their food is really good.

Was in Milwaukee for the first time ever for a NYE gig, and the promoter brought us here for an early lunch. He said that this spot was well known for their bar food, and that we absolutely had to try the cheese curds, as this is a typical local delicacy. He also recommended the crab rangoon pizza. The place is a very typical sports bar grille type of spot - so if you're looking for a casual, no frills, non bougie no bs place to get your fix of football, food and beer, this place is it. Place was very clean - our server was super friendly and helpful, along with the other staff we interacted with. They had a nice selection of beers, and I opted to try one of the local IPAs that our server recommended, along with the cheese curds and crab rangoon pizza. The food came out nice and hot, fairly quickly, which is appreciated by this adopted NY'er. And it was delicious. Should I ever find myself in Milwaukee again, I will definitely be going back. ps - my only semi complaint, and it's a minor one - they need to change the description of the Philly Sandwich. "Mississippi style" shredded beef? No. If you're gonna serve a Philly sandwich (presumably the famed Philly cheesesteak), you have to get it right - it's chopped up ribeye steak, caramelized fried onions, usually served "with wiz", on an amoroso roll ;)

We've been coming to Milwaukee for Summerfest for years, but it was our first time at Steny's. We will be back. Salmon BLT is amazing. $7 Old Fashions were flowing. Shuttle to grounds was lively. See you next year!

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon w/ plenty of seating available to watch the ball game. Examined the menu & zeroed in on their wings, then ordered (6) each of the Sweet 'n Spicy Garlic, the Jerk, their Carolina Gold and last but not least, the Butter Garlic Parmesan. For the kids it was burgers w/ plenty of fries. Overall, the food was exceptional and the wings were fantastic! The wait staff was on top of his game and took good care of us. With all that, there was only one setback. A table with (2) adults & (2) small children, you're automatically charged an 18% gratuity added to the bill, THEN taxed after that total. Next time, it'll be a takeout order to avoid that sneaky trick.

Our server was attentive, detail-oriented, and just fun to talk to. We took the Ads shuttle as well, as can't talk high enough about our driver Dale. He was personable and we highly recommend.

We visited Stenys for wings the other day for the first time and certainly regret not visiting earlier! These were some of the best wings I've had in Milwaukee in a while, cooked perfectly, service was great and the flavors were delish! We did spicy garlic and the lucky 13 dry rub. We loved the vibe here, parking was easy in their lot across the street as well. I'm excited to come back and try some more flavors and apps.

Hot wings without blue cheese aren't hot wings with blue cheese. No celery either. I didn't specifically order celery but I did order blue cheese. Ranch dressing isn't what I ordered. Too many other choices for hot wings with easier parking, hotter, and will serve with blue cheese.

BEST BLOODY MARYS EVER!!!!! I've been new to the bloody mary game and couldn't quite find the best bloody mary in mke until someone recommended me Steny's. I kid you not that this drink at this place is by far the best. I take ever bloody lover here and they also agree. The vibes are also awesome especially with games on as they have lots of TVs. I really like this as a casual place to go to. Food has also been really good! I am a huge fan of their wings!

I came to watch Badger Basketball while there was also a Marquette game. Needless to say, they were packed. Since it was just me I was able to immediately find a seat at the bar. The place is huge and goes very far back past the bar. They make great use of the space and can seat a lot of people, but being a sports bar, they were still busy. I was impressed by how cheerful and attentive the staff was. I have never seen servers and bartenders under such pressure but remain engaged with customers. This was a great experience and I will definitely be back! I look forward to trying their nachos and fish fry.

Do not take their game day shuttle from Milwaukee to Green Bay, whatever you do. No organization. Took 3 hours to get to the field because they left late and had no where to park once we got there. Left the field after waiting for 2 hours which allowed the traffic to pile up. Clearly no one is in charge of this situation and there are plenty of other places in the city that offer the same service, so use them

Stopped by because we heard they had the best wings. I got a turkey burger and it was amazing. Husband got wings and he smashed them! Service was great despite it being busy. The menu provides a great abundance. I will be back. The atmosphere is also family friendly, at least when we went at lunch time.

Came here for lunch before seeing a play downtown. We were greeted promptly and seated at a table with plenty of sports to watch on tv (they have mostly stool style tables). Our server was lovely and service was great. I started with a Bloody Mary - my favorite in the city of Milwaukee. It was delicious as always. My MIL and I both ordered salads. I never know what to expect when I order a salad from a bar but it was AMAZING. Fresh, plentiful ingredients. No iceberg here. They were popping with flavors - I didn't even regret not ordering nachos or wings. Prices were fair, parking lot is great. As Steny's likes to say - you should be here!

Great service. Food was very good. We had wings to start. And they were very good. I definitely consider them one of the top wing places in Milwaukee.

I wanted to give zero stars but couldn't. I was served a raw cheeseburger when I asked for a rare burger. Management came over and explained they couldn't do anything since I ordered it rare. They wouldn't redo it or put it back On the grill. I don't plan on returning EVER.

Really good wings and bloody Mary's! The slot machines actually gave me a fun time as well. A lot of TV's to watch sports and overall a good vibe with top 3 wings in Milwaukee! I even tried their burger which was better than I thought. Friendly bartender and server!

Stenys is such a great place for people to go when they are visiting Milwaukee and looking for a good reliable place. Lots of seating with a huge bar. Pizza and wings are fabulous!!! Depending on when you go will impact the wait on service. I went on a Friday night around 930-10 and would wait a couple of minutes for my drink after ordering. There is no pool table or darts which stinks but the bar across the street has them so it makes it still worth it. Definitely a good dinner spot.

One of my favorite places for next level bar food! I've been here more times than I can count and I'm never disappointed. Their wings are amazing and I continue to order these nachos. This is a half order by the way! The service is usually amazing! Today I ordered for carry out over the phone. My order wasn't just yet ready when I arrived so I sat at the bar. The bartenders and servers both asked me if I had already been helped, which I had! It's great to see that I wouldn't ever be a guest waiting for help.

If you have a top 5 list for wings in WI and Steny's isn't on it, you're out of your mind. Perfectly cooked/sauced. I'm extremely impressed. Also, if you're looking for a really good big pretzel, look no further. Best in the city and amazing cheese to go along with it.

Great place to stop for the game or a quick drink and meal. We were out and about thrifting and stopping in for a beer and lunch. I ordered a cheese quesadilla with guacamole and fries on the side. Our order was taken swiftly and food came quick!

We had a great time at Steny's although we forgot there was a Brewers/Cubs game in town and the restaurant was filled with noisy revelers waiting for shuttle buses to the game. So yeah, the sound inside was deafening. But it was a Friday night, great weather, and people having a good time. Pure Milwaukee and Steny's did a great job getting everyone fed and out the door. We wanted a Friday fish dinner and opted for the pan seared cod dinner. We were not disappointed. The dish was delicious. If anyone wants to experience a good Milwaukee bar and grill, stop here.

Visited here during Independence Day weekend. 2 words "cheese curds" Their cheese curds were soft, cheesy, textured and absolutely perfect. You might need 2 orders for a party of 5 or more.

Large-sized bar/restaurant with extensive food and long draft list. It was hard to pick a meal because there was such a big menu with well-described foods. We got cheese curds and split a bacon BLT. Curds were a little greasy, but I couldn't put them down. BLT was tremendous, with generous bacon and a unique dill Mayo. Bloody's were dirt cheap at 6$, the pickle had nice girth, and man, it was just a great Bloody! Stop by for a snack, lunch or a pint! Brittany was a pleasant, prompt server...hopefully you get her :)
