It seems like the reviews are for both the Chattanooga and S. Pittsburgh locations. I want to be clear that we went to the Chattanooga location. Came for lunch and we had Lexi taking good care of us. Had the calzone and my husband had a burger. The food was great and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The pizza dough is light and crispy, which is hard to find outside of NYC, so I am glad to know about this place now. I did order a beer but it tasted awful, like the lines need to be cleaned. Switched to a soda and the same issue. Other than that no complaints. Would come again and would recommend the calzone for sure.

We have only done delivery from here, but I can say it's one of our favorites! I had always gotten a chicken parm with the sweet potato fries, but last time I decided to try a salad. When we were opening our food I was so taken aback by how beautiful the plating was for a to go order & also by how loaded it was with fresh toppings! Normally when you get a salad like that you get a sprinkle of strawberries, walnuts, cheese, etc... Not here! As you can see by the pictures! A friend of mine got the Alfredo and is now officially hooked and must order it a few times a month or she's not happy. Lol But seriously their food is amazing, you get what you pay for, and their selection is ample. If you haven't already tried this place, do yourself a favor and put it on your bucket list. That goes for tourists and locals alike. This review has now made me want to order a salad. 😂

Google
I absolutely love this place. The food is varied and really good. From the Cuban to the baked lasagna, they have you covered. But the REAL treat is PIZZA. No kidding, it rivals any “pizza place.” That taco pizza is insane. If you’re a vegetarian, sub some mushrooms with taco seasoning for the ground beef. You will be HAPPY! The dining area has amazing windows so you get all the sunlight. The staff is fabulous. Megan makes it feel like you’ve gone to Cheers and she’s “always glad you came.” I honestly could not ask for a better “neighborhood” restaurant. Love me some Steve (the name sake,) and his lovely wife Vicki as well. It’s great when the owners are involved and really care.

Google
A hidden gem! All the other brunch places were so busy and we saw this and gave it a chance. It's an Italian/ pizza place but has the best brunch options! The directions to get there were a little confusing but once I found it I was so happy. We got Eggs Benedict and a Monte Cristo sandwich, both were so fresh and delicious and well flavored. The fried potatoes that came with our dishes were soft and buttery and flavored very well. My sister puts lots of salt on everything and she didn't even need it! Our server was so sweet and helpful, even though she said she'd only work there a week. She was great! At first we thought it would be a bar atmosphere, but it was very nice, clean and modern. We will definitely be back for lunch or dinner.

Google
Tried this place for the first time a year or two during the Pizza Run. We love it! Honestly just the free bread loaves you get while you wait on your pizza to be cooked are worth the trip alone. I'm a big kid, so I enjoyed the white paper table covering with the basket of crayons to draw with while you wait. Food itself was amazing, and they're the only place in town I know of that serves a taco pizza! Just um, stay away from the blackened creole pizza. Maybe we just had a bad one, but man it tasted like we just ate a container of Old Bay seasoning. That was a one time deal though, the rest has been absolutely tops!

Google
Excellent experience. Brian is the best bartender ever, and clearly runs the show! We will be here again soon! Plenty of parking in the rear of the building, I think you can also park at the liquor store too. Fine place to eat here in Chattanooga. The pizza and calzones are really good here, may stay away from anything that actually is not Italian.

Google
What can I say? It’s basically a “bar” like most places in Chattanooga. The server I had was very nice. What I had was not bad but also was not correct. Would I go back? Hard to say honestly

Google
After waiting over an hour to get our food, the lasagna was nasty gross! The spaghetti my friend ordered was awful too! The bread was delicious! Our waitress was friendly but forgot i asked for no lemon on my tea so i said no big deal and took it off! Then she forgot to come check on us so drinks were empty awhile! Then she forgot to put our order in, hence the forever wait! She said she would give us a discount which i guess was not charging us for our tea and coke that she forgot to refill! Save your money and go somewhere else!

Yelp
First rate in all ways. Great food, super cool space, friendly employees, plentiful parking. Easily one of the best restaurants in Hamilton County. A+++

Yelp
Outstanding food, service and warm atmosphere. Stopped in for a late lunch. Danica took great care of us. She shared she was new but perfect for her job. Warm, welcoming and made us feel special. Cold draft beer, delicious chicken salad (I have had before) but seemed even better with Cole slaw as my side. I consider myself a Cole slaw and chicken salad pro and have to say, they do it right! Hubby had a small Srevarino's Deluxe which was great. He rarely comments on the freshness or the crust but mentioned both were really good today. Both of us had leftovers for dinner and really enjoyed our lunch. We will be back.

Yelp
Overall a pretty big disappointment for me. I will say it's a nice atmosphere to take the kids, it's a large open area, tables with coloring paper and crayons. Service was quick, although we may have been the only ones there between lunch and dinner. The food was mediocre at best, and some of it bad. The calamari was very salty and fishy in a bad way, would not recommend that. We also had the shrimp scampi, which was really not good. Poor quality shrimp, raw garlic, low quality lemon juice; hard to make that into something good. The Cajun pasta was okay, chicken and shrimp not great quality. The pizza was okay, it wasn't great for the kids though. It's the kind of pizza that's pretty greasy, soggy crust, and stringy cheese that slides off the pizza when you pick it up. Again, overall not terrible, but not something I would go back for. Overall I can't recommend this place to a friend based on a fairly broad sampling of the menu and plenty of other places to go close by.

Yelp
Delicious pizza! My husband and I decided to get pizza to go from Stevarinos one Friday night. We just ordered a large cheese pizza along with the stuffed mushrooms. The cheese pizza tasted like one big cheesestick - a dream come true, really. So good! The mushrooms were also really good! Would love to come back to try more of their food + I hear they have brunch?
google avatar

Mary D.

Yelp
A variety of tasty Italian and non-Italian dishes and service with smile. We have been waited on several times by the owner himself and he is very customer focused. Would especially recommend the stuffed mushrooms.

Yelp
Ordered the Beach Bread - delivery. First off Uber Eats is awesome with courteous on time drivers Secondly the item ordered was called Beach Bread. OMG it was fabulous! 2 large slices of soft warm hoagie bread cut into 6 total pieces covered with ooey gooey melted mozzarella cheese which hid toppings of bacon and feta cheese. It was topped off with small chunks of tomatoes which gave the whole thing a pop of flavor in your mouth. I would eat this til I was sick. It was that yummy.

Yelp
Horrible food. What a waste. Alfredo sauce was flavorless and watered down. Egg rolls are raw on the inside and feel mushy. Couldn't finished them. Don't waste your money here
google avatar

Yelp
My husband and I loved it! Food & atmosphere were great. Friendly and attentive service. Plus, the sweet tea was actually sweet!

Yelp
Service was great. Excellent appetizer selection. They came out quickly and we're all very good. The pizzas were huge. A 16 inch is more than enough for 2. The pizzas were just ok in terms of flavor. A bit bland and a little bit of a disappointment because they looked awesome! Quantity is great...quality just so so.

Bobby M.

Yelp
They serve a wide variety of great food at reasonable prices. I eat lunch there fairly often, but supper is good as well.
google avatar

Kim D.

Yelp
I got the lasagna lunch special. It was delicious. Meal comes with a loaf of bread and garlic butter, also delicious.

Yelp
First off- Alex our server was exceptional! We didn't sit in the bar area but he took our happy hour orders instead of us having to move to the appropriate spot. So happy hour is a daily thing. 3:00-6:00 at bar or patio. I've added a picture of the happy hour menu. There are quit a few items on there. We ordered sliders, potato skins, one buffalo chicken egg roll and a chicken parmigiana sandwich. No we did not eat it all; but we came close. Alex guided us through the giant menu. And asked questions to help us decide. He gave recommendations that were spot on! We enjoyed everything that we ordered but really liked the potato skins. Giant baked potato cut in half with gooey cheese and crispy bacon, sour cream on the side: absolutely delicious!! Not something I can or should eat every day: but today was just that kind of day! I can't forget about the complimentary loaf of bread and creamy whipped but that started this wonderful meal. We will return because of Alex. He said we should try the tiramisu next time.....and we will!

Steve N.

Yelp
Sandwiches are a joke. $16 for a trash sandwich. Wish I could post pictures. I'll find a way. Horrible place.

Yelp
So glad we came across this place! The food, service and location were wonderful. We can not to come back the next time we are in Chattanooga. The manicotti was amazing. Salad was fresh, and all family members were pleased with their meals.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Our server Bryan H was amazing. First time here. Calzone was literally the best I've had.
google avatar

Wanda W.

Yelp
Meh. I've had better. Biba's does a great job of separating the bar area and the dining area.

Edward J.

Yelp
Wonderful place! Family-feel Italian food, great pizzas. Warm ambiance. Reasonable prices. Pleasant staff. Steve himself helps serve. Has occasional live music.

Yelp
I order off grubhub so can't give you the restaurant experience but I can say if the delivery was this good I can't wait to sit down and eat at the restaurant. Guys the margarita pizza was a delicious surprise, why I say surprise because this pizza is filled with every mouth orgasm you think of ... seriously it's delicious.. I'll post phots so you can drool ..Also the freaking salad!! Get ready for snoozeville after you stuff your tummy with these delicious foods on the menu. Wish they would have put utensils in but it's all good. Enjoy

Yelp
This place was great! It is a nice atmosphere with great people working. Our waiter Willie was amazing with great recommendations. The beer he recommended was spot on on the Einstock. He recommended the Tuscan Tortellini Alfredo for my wife and she loved it. Then for dessert we had the Peanut Butter pie which was delicious! Overall experience was excellent! I would highly recommend if you are in Chattanooga to check this place out. It is on the Northshore and you will have a wonderful experience.

Yelp
Our first visit was amazing! Amy was quick to invite us in and seat us. She was professional, and had several suggestions including the all important "why" she recommended them. Amy was fully bought into the products offered. She shared positive personal experiences she had with several of the menu items. The food was absolutely top notch. The flavors were unique and memorable. The atmosphere is appealing and comfortable. We are making plans to return with more of our crew next time!
google avatar

Jonathan M.

Yelp
Great dining experience with a light open atmosphere. Buffalo spring rolls are a must! Our server was quick and knowledgeable while being helpful with any questions about food restrictions. They have a real nice patio and it's dog friendly too!
google avatar

Yelp
Not my first choice for Italian but we went for a bday celebration so I didn't really have a choice. I had the Stevarino Deluxe Pizza. The cheese didn't taste great and didn't "hold" the toppings. The waitress we had seemed a bit rude so the service was lacking there. I wanted to like this place but I'm sure I won't be back unfortunately.
google avatar

Yelp
I saw the stuffed mushrooms that everyone said were wonderful so I ordered. They were under cooked mushrooms with a fake crab and bread stuffing and were not tasty at all. I ordered the white pizza and it was full of cheese, but needed salt and Parmesan cheese to add flavor. Overall, the restaurant was less than I expected. Please drive to highlighted route.

Yelp
FIVE stars is half of what this place should get! First time here and wow wow wow. The atmosphere, the staff, the food! We usually go to "another" place when we are in town but decided to try this restaurant because of the reviews (and well the pictures of the food hee hee). We LOVED IT! Best waitress- Vicki. Best dinner- spaghetti and meatballs and chicken Alfredo. Oh and wait- the cheesecake- let's just say holy cow! Seriously don't go anywhere else for Italian! And thank you stevearino for the updates on the basketball scores.

Yelp
Ok so I feel like as a new place they may have a few things to work out. I have been there twice now and it's the same. I will wait a while and try back in a few months. Our first visit the service was outstanding. Audrey was our server and she did a great job and the hostess was very friendly and even checked on us throughout our meal. Our second visit the hostess seemed put out when I said no to a high top and then tried to seat us in a table with the sun glaring down. When I asked if we could be moved to a table without sun she sighed and just plopped the menus down on the table with less sun (but at least it wasn't in our face). (note: she tried to seat several other people at that table and they all asked to be moved..smh) This is a big issue they have. In the late afternoon, early evening the sun comes through their windows and is glaring on a lot of their tables to where it is right in the customer's face. With a wall of large windows, they should really invest in some blinds. The first visit we ordered the potato skins, grilled chicken Cesar and small pepperoni pizza. The second time we ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms and spaghetti with meatballs. Overall the food is fresh but the flavor and texture is good enough, just not great. Food-wise the potato skins were the biggest disappointment. It was over cooked in some places (making it very hard to bite). I think they need to leave more potato on the skins. The crab stuffed mushrooms were the biggest surprise. It was stuffed with crab meat and risotto. It took a second to get used to it but it did have a good flavor. The only down is that there was maybe, too much risotto b/c it didn't stay in the mushroom part. The pizza was good but a little greasy. There was nothing spectacular about the spaghetti, it was good but not great. However, everything was really fresh, it didn't taste processed or like it had come out of a can. Overall good, not great. Hopefully in few months they may have some of their kinks worked out and I can raise their rating.

Yelp
This place is absolutely awesome!! The food is the best in town. Their brunch is solid. I recommend their chicken and waffles. Steve is a great owner who talks with the guests and makes sure they enjoy their experience. The service is excellent and they make recommendations based on what you are in the mood for. Selections of beer and wine are on point. They have a full bar as well. Dion and Holly are great servers, as well as Lonny. Don't pass this place by. Stop in and at least get a pizza. You won't be disappointed.

Kevin L.

Yelp
Chattanooga's best kept secret for so many reasons. The location, the service, the aesthetics, and the price. Even though the Sunday brunch had great options my husband and I split the Cuban panini and a side salad. My half of the panini was larger than most single servings. Plus, they spit it in the kitchen and the side salad was just as large. The $3.00 Bloody Mary and mimosas were strong and delicious. Parking is free behind the building.

Yelp
Awesome food, I tried the Lasagna, stuffed mushrooms, and chicken parmesana. Not expensive for the quality of food Recommended!

Chuckd L.

Yelp
Great pizza! Gotta have great crust to make great pizza. Good tap selection (Oberon rocks). Very friendly service. Go eat out Chattanooga!

Tracy W.

Yelp
I only give three stars because I found the place hard to find. Their signage outside was small and not very visible. Other then that, good atmosphere, friendly staff, decently priced, had a happy hour, and the food was very good. We had the spinach dip bread bowl to start...yummm...I had the chicken parmigiana, my husband had the buffalo chicken pizza (he had to ask for more buffalo sauce tho, just a drizzle all over was not enough). Not pictured are the Italian casserole and the lasagna my daughters. We were all happy and now that we know where it is, we will be back.

Randy G.

Yelp
Visiting family in Chattanooga and we had some great takeout from Stevarino's last night! The staff is awesome. I had the Pasta Carbonara and it was delicious. My son enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan and my wife had a pizza. We're from Atlanta but wish we had a Stevarino's down there. Maybe next location...?

Yelp
Okay, my second time to this restaurant. I wanted to give it another try. Firstly, no was available to greet us at the podium to check in. We ended up having to wait patiently for a few minutes at the podium to have someone notice us and seat us at a table. Not a great second impression. Secondly, When they sat us at our table we were definitely not 6 feet apart (window tables) More like 6 inches apart back to back. So if you want space due to Covid, definitely sit in the middle tables. Third, for some reason we were assigned to one of the waitstaff with a table of 9 customers which were in the back, (Our party was 2). So it took some time for us to get drinks and orders in to the back. When we did order drinks it took about 20 minutes due to the large table and the excuse that the bartender was working pickup orders. So all in all so far not great customer service. The saving point for the night was the pizza!!! Definitely one of the best pizzas I've had in Chattanooga. (Get the Dublin!). We couldn't finish but half of the 14 inch pizza. When closing, we had to wait for the party of 9 to close out 9 individual tickets. So, final review, go for the pizza!! Work with through the customer service part as things may be off due to Covid.

Yelp
First time at the new location. I've eaten at the South Pittsburgh location several times. Food was very good and the service was fabulous. No doubt this place will thrive in this location!

Yelp
I came here to check out the place to bring my division (30 people) for a holiday party. Sad to say I'll never know if the food is good or not because no one waited on me. I sat at the bar and the bartender said I'll be right with you. Then she proceeded to talk to one guy at the end of the bar for a few minutes, give another person their check then I have no clue where she went, then the phone rang so she had to enter an order- the manager or someone higher up also walked through the bar looked right at me and didn't say anything- guess he wasn't surprised to see someone without a drink a menu or anything. Well I'm happy to take my 30 plus people elsewhere I will never give this place a second chance. Why someone can't say hi what do you want to drink and take 30 seconds is beyond me. Too many good places around to be treated this way.

Lyle C.

Yelp
Wow, everything was awful, chicken was dry, lasagna tasted frozen, salad was fine, but they didn't include salad dressing in the delivery. Would never eat here again.
google avatar

Yelp
Decent amount of free parking! Which is a plus on Northshore. We sat at the bar top that faces the street on their patio. Good breeze, comfy seats, just enough table space for up to 3 people per section and we were entertained to watch everyone walk, drive and bike by. We ordered a couple draft beers, they have a good selection but temp was just cold enough if ya know what I mean. I ordered the Papa Joe's salad w/ the black olives on the side since we intended to share and my husband thinks black olives are Satan. He ordered the Cajun Pasta at the recommendation of our waitress. We laughed about "of course she recommended one of the most expensive menu items" but it sounded yummy so whatever. We debated an appetizer, saw some being delivered and everything looked great but we decided against it. Our waitress asked if we'd like bread & my husband said sure, which I wondered if it was the bread I had seen on the starters menu. She delivered a warm amazing loaf of bread and shortly after our food arrived. Olives were all over my salad and no dressing so it was not a good start there, I went to picking the olives out of my salad and while we waited to spot our waitress my husband dug in on his pasta and started feeding me bites and OMG... it was amazing! We said it was totally a good recommendation and worth it's price we had joked about (which for the record, this place is very reasonably priced. So it being one of the more expensive items left it at only $15) our waitress came out and didn't notice or mention me picking the olives out of the salad, but quickly got us the house dressing & apologized which we were in such heaven of that bread and Cajun pasta, we barely cared. Salad was good, loaded with more than necessary meat and cheese cubes. We waddled out miserably full but pleased. We will 100% be back.

Yelp
I didn't have high hopes for a restaurant that bills itself as an Italian Irish pub, but I was pleasantly surprised when I ate here last weekend. Their bartender didn't really know about the beers that were on tap (either what they were or what kind of beer certain ones were), but he was really nice and service was fast. The menu isn't too big or too all over the place like I expected from an Italian restaurant with a leprechaun for its logo, and there are several things on it that I would love come back to try. (I got the Reuben and it was good; not the best, but good enough that I'd order it again). They do table bread, though, which is something nobody does in the south anymore but is one of my favorite things at dinner. There's a parking lot across the street but signage as to whether you can park there was confusing, so I'm guessing they probably just have street parking. Hopefully I'm wrong and the lot is or will be available, but in the middle of the day it wasn't hard to find a spot. Definitely looking forward to returning and trying something else on the menu.

Yelp
Drove by and saw the outdoor covered patio dining and thought it looked like a cool place to try. It exceeded all expectations!. The wife tried the stuffed mushrooms and they were to die for. She also ordered the Salmon. It was cooked perfect, and the dill, artichokes and Kalamantra olives gave so much flavor I ordered the Cajan Pizza and it was off the hook. The flavors just burst in my mouth. Our hostess/bartender, Brittany was so special. You know a meal always tastes better when the staff is fun and enthusiastic. She was both and has strong honest opinions about what she likes on the menu. I find this so helpful. The venue is very fun. I love the indoor outdoor feel and you have to see the indoor murals that decorate the interior walls. It's so Old time Chattanooga. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
I'm from Chicago. I love pizza. I know pizza. This? This is amazing pizza by any standard. Visit this restaurant. Order this pizza. You're welcome.

Yelp
Stevarino's- third location and hopefully more to come! First let me express how grateful I am that they have GF pizza and GF pasta!!!! This expanded my options tremendously!!!! They are also getting a GF chocolate cake for dessert so I will DEFINITELY be back. Our server was very nice and prompt. He made a mistake with the order but took ownership of his mistake which only made me appreciate the staff that much more!!!! The manager, Mr. Stevarino clearly has experience with this because he didn't try to make me feel like I was trying to get something for free, but rather immediately fixed the issue. I've been here before and had a great experience, but now that I see how much value is put on service and the expanded GF menu, I will be bringing my business back here again very soon!

Yelp
Basic Saturday night out to watch the opening of college football with friends. Wanted to try out a new spot & have meant to give this place a shot. TVs in the bar. We were on the edges sitting inside, but it was a nice enough night to sit outside with 2 more TVs. We perched by the TV & received excellent service from Holly. Basic pub fare with an Italian flair. The sampler appetizer was pleasing. A lot of fried for me, but my friends were all in. We split a couple of pizzas. The Dublin (all meats) & Mediterranean (veggies). This comes an avowed meat eater...the Mediterranean was fabulous. Dublin solid, but a really good pie on the other end. 2 Mediums...we had 3 slices leftover so ample food. People give this an extra star. Holly as mentioned was fabulous and Steve (of Stevarino's fame) stopped by the table twice to check in. When an owner takes this much pride in their place and customer service, that's an excellent sign. Prices were friendly & it was a good night. Rained and we had to scoot in a bit, but not much to keep the street-side seated pair dry. They even have free parking behind the building.

Yelp
We have now eaten at this place twice. The first time we ordered Spaghetti and a white pizza. We also couldn't decide on an appetizer and went with with two (really living on the edge) the spinach artichoke bread bowl and the Reuben egg rolls. I would NOT order the egg rolls again.... I was super disappointed. Very dry and no cabbage, which I would expect in anything Reuben. However, this was the only thing we were disappointed in. We had a wonderful waitress who was very attentive. The spinach dip was aaaammmmaaazzing with fresh spinach in a warm soupy alfredo sauce. The meatballs in the spaghetti were homemade, huge, and delicious. On our second time, we shared the chicken Alfredo and got the bread bowl again. (That's how good it was the first time, we just couldn't resist it) the Alfredo was good but I still preferred the spaghetti.

Norma J.

Yelp
This place was disappointing- the Yelp reviews got everything wrong. The service was just unbearable, there were many apologies but few solutions. Like, one gets the impression that there is a staff shortage, but for a Friday night this place was in shambles. We kept getting the wrong orders and just had poor attitudes all around. How does this happen? If one is in any position in hospitality then act accordingly/ guests are spending hard earned money that could well be spent elsewhere. Earn your good tips and reviews. Don't take guests for granted. The very next day we ate at a Cracker Barrel. The food was nothing special, somewhat predictable, but the service was exceptional. It just made the experience worth it, and we tipped our server accordingly. But most importantly, we will remember the place and visit it again next time, unlike Stevarinos. Then, the food.... What the ever lasting goodness was that? This was supposedly an Italian restaurant, but most of the meals were terrible! They were just indescribable mush, or burnt, without any real flavor.

Joseph T.

Yelp
Ummm. Yeah this place was pretty bad. I'm not even picky but literally 2 different beers and the diet and regular cokes were all flat. All four. That's kinda impressive. Dishes came out with bits of previous customers food stuck to bottom and sides. Prob not washed well, maybe lightly rinsed at most. Kinda gross. Says Italian place, has Irish and leprechaun branding lol. One of our party had their meal served about 9 minutes before others, and already felt like it was sitting out in the back. Pizza was okay. Had to use fork and knife because impossible to hold up with hands. Workers were nice but everything else was not great to be honest. Go to Krystal burger, save your money, and enjoy a comparatively higher quality meal and experience. Lel.

Yelp
The customer service here is amazing. Our food came out fast and was so delicious. Definitely coming back.

Yelp
Our favorite Italian restaurant for 18 years in Scottsboro, and we are so excited they are in Chattanooga now!! The pasta carbonara is to die for and we love their pizza. You really can't go wrong. We love you guys. Angela and Greg

The staff were great! Love the atmosphere and there were clean tables not that greasy film left on tables. I felt so guilty for sending back my Chicken Marsala but it really was bland and the chicken pieces were so fatty that the texture in my mouth was a bit disturbing. Thankfully the server was nice and he did allow me to substitute this for the Chicken Parmesan. That was ok but it is really neat to see my food so piping hot that I know they just cooked it. We then ordered the Tiramisu and honestly, that is probably in my top 10 list of best Tiramisu out of my travels across the nation. I definitely will go back for the dessert.

Yelp
Absolutely Love Stevarino's !!!! Great food great service and a good price. Parking at night is the only negative when it is raining. Otherwise I consider this place one of my favorites!!!
