"Every dog seemingly has its day at this colorful Colfax, where the options range from classic Chicago-style and Jersey dogs (a hot dog topped with bacon, spicy mustard, red onion, relish and sauerkraut) to the modern creation that is the Mex-Si: a bacon-wrapped and deep-fried dog topped with lettuce, tomato, jalapeño, sour cream, cheese, and salsa. Awesome hot dogs! I got the rippin Rockies and a Chicago dog because I love Chicago dogs. The Chicago dog was pretty good, but not my fave ever. The Rippin Rockies on the other hand was pure delight and a wonderful surprise! I would 100% go back and try more dogs in the future.

I love little spots like this. The hardest thing was trying to narrow down the choices to the hot dogs I wanted to try. The hot dogs were good, hit the spot. Good flavor, the toppings were delicious. Would definitely come back and try out some other dogs. Highly recommend.

God I could eat at Steve’s Snappin dogs 3 times a week. Sure Id be dead in a year but I’d die with a smile on my chubby face. Seriously awesome dogs and brats served many different and unique ways. Fantastic fries and onion rings….and amazing sweet potato tots If you havent been go

Good hot dog spot with plenty of options. Almost any menu item can be made vegan/vegetarian, so would definitely recommend for people with those particular dietary restrictions. Food was a little pricey, but the quality and portions were reasonable.

Seated at a table and a waitress took my order. Hotdog arrived quickly. Tasted good. Great price too!

Been coming since they opened. My kids grew up on Steve’s. Great food and great value, have not found a burger that tastes better for twice the price. Also try the Chicago Dog and the Denver Dog. Staff always kind and attentive. Support our local businesses!

Want a different kind of dog? Well, here’s the place! They offer a crazy variety of hot dogs here! They also have other food too! It’s comparably affordable, the crew are attentive and courteous, and the atmosphere offers nostalgic memories of Denver back in the day! Highly recommended!

Classic old school hot dog shoppe with loads of charm and many vegan options. Good fries and tots too! (Got the California dog made vegan and the Chicago dog made vegan. Were very tasty! Had vegan burger options too. And a solid soft drink tap of Dr Pepper, Cherry Coke, and Barq’s Rootbeer.)
