Amazing Laotian food and maybe the best all-around casual spot in Knoxville.

The new space is a nice upgrade from their previous spot. A lot more seating which was very much needed, because even with the bigger space, this place was packed. The food is always delicious. Their crunchy rice is absolutely amazing. I'd eat it as a meal. The spring rolls were also great, and definitely look interesting. I personally am not a fan of the loab, but that is a comment on my own tastes. The staff is absolutely pro. The owner runs this place incredibly well. Everything is clean, food is delivered fast, everyone is kind, and staff happily interacts with the customers.

This place is absolutely amazing! You won't be disappointed at all with what you get on the menu. The food is fresh and you can really taste that they make the noodles in house. Our waiter was super helpful! He was transparent about the dishes he would recommend and he made sure we had a phenomenal first experience! Whether you want to have this as a date night or casual outing it will be well worth it!

We went on a Wednesday evening and our party of two had to wait 20 minutes for a table. It was no problem at all—especially once the food came out, as it was well worth waiting for. The staff was super attentive and kind. I loved seeing the owners being involved in the service; it shows how much they really care, and you can see it in quality. Our appetizers couldn’t have been more than a five minute wait, and the mains didn’t take long either. Everything was delicious and the portions were just right. We don’t usually order dessert but I eyed another customer eating the mango sticky rice and it piqued my curiosity, and oh joy am I glad I indulged… Delicious. Don’t skip the mango sticky rice, folks!!! This place is truly a culinary gem of Knoxville. I will be dreaming of it while I’m away.

I'm not actually local, but this place is so good I want to go out of my way for it every time i visit my friend in Tennessee. Service and food are both incredible. I tried both the crab rangoons (basic choice, but some of the best I've ever had in my life, soooo perfect and crispy) and the meekatee (spicy, slightly sweet, with toppings like pho). Everything tastes very fresh and well made. The soup was also HUGE.

Stopped after a day at the Knoxville zoo for a lunch/dinner. I've had Thai food at other places and they seemed to have similar dishes although I'm not sure if it's technically Thai or Laosian but it's all delicious nonetheless. They were totally slammed so it took a little while to get it to the table but the server was super attentive and I knew they were working hard to get everyone fed. Food was amazing and so was the service. The bar looked like a nice place to get a beer and watch the big screen TVs.

$$ Our service was outstanding Drinks from the bar were literally two of the best made drinks I can remember in recent memory. To top it all off the food was superb. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars was that (great for the owner) it was very crowded. However, we knew it would be as they were always packed when they were in their old location as well. Very Highly recommended if you like Laotion cuisine. Please take a moment and like if this helps you.

A great find in Knoxville area! I made a point of coming here every time I am in town, and the food has never disappointed. Very tasty without it being too spicy. A good selection of noodle, rice, and appetizers. I can just order a bunch of their appetizers and smaller dishes to make it a meal. A fun place to come with other people so you can try different things on the menu. The new location has more seatings and a very lovely decor. All in all I highly recommend! A note on their food. It is Laotian which is close to Thai food but Laotian food has its own taste profile. The dishes with the same name will have slightly different taste profile Thai food being more sweet-base. I find Laotian food to be sharper in salty and spicy hot. Both Thai food and Laotian use a lot of herbs in cooking, and this is where Sticky Rice excel. They do use a lot of herb in their food and blend it so well to make the dishes pop. Well done!

Terrific restaurant. I had the beef laab. It was delicious. This is one of the most flavorful dishes I have had from any cuisine. I liked all of them. I will point out not everyone is going to like it. Lots of onions, which I love, lots of heat, which I love, lots of cilantro, which I love. Fabulous dish. One issue, I chose med. rare. Which is the best way for steak. However, in this dish I think it should be med. well. Nothing was wrong with it. It was cut into small pieces so I think it may have been better a little browner, maybe. My son had the pork, his favorite here. All portions were copious and as delicious as they were large. The leftovers were magnificent as well. It reheats perfectly.
