The New Atlanta Restaurant Openings You Should Know About

"Stir House brings a vegan lunch option to downtown's Broad Street. Stir fry boxes allow the mixing and matching of noodles, rice and a variety of vegetables with proteins like tofu and faux shrimp. And the prices aren't bad for the giant portions you get." - juli horsford, jacinta howard

Stir House - Review - Downtown Atlanta - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Whenever we’re downtown during lunch, we head to Broad Street. The small, but mighty street near GSU’s campus already has an impressive roster of restaurants. And with Stir House, there’s a vegan-only option for a midday meal. After ordering at the tablets hanging on the wall, take a seat and inspect the bamboo centerpieces that feel rather sophisticated for Broad Street’s grab-and-go scene. All of the stir fry dishes clock in at $20, which seems pricey until you see the enormous portions packed into the tall takeout containers. Our favorite is the Lucky Buddha, filled with quinoa, broccoli, kimchi, and a heaping pile of fried oyster mushrooms." - Juli Horsford

I recently dined at Stir House and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service and innovative vegan cuisine. The menu offerings were excellently prepared and delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and provided excellent service . I highly recommend Stir House to anyone seeking a high-quality vegan dining experience in Atlanta.

My grandmother and I visited to make a takeout order. I’m always excited to try a new vegan spot; and for those with intolerance, they are also a gluten-free restaurant. The staff were very lovely and accommodating. The food, overall, was meh. We both agreed that the “shrimp” was delicious! For me, these were the best vegan shrimp I’ve had. The jambalaya sauce was a very tasty condiment to go with it. You’ll need two sauces, as the containers are small. Actually, the portions of every thing was small. The “Banging Egg Rolls” were not banging. Both of us had a bite and did not like it; my grandmother spit it out into a napkin. I hate to compare it like this, but it is what I said aloud, the texture of the crumbles is what I imagine dog food texture would be like. Yikes! My grandmother saved her General Tso for later and messaged me the next morning “Good morning! The meal wasn’t great! We will go somewhere else next time.🙂”. With all said, I would probably return just for the vegan shrimp, and that’s it.

Google
I wish I could give five million stars. I have severe celiac and issues with meat/dairy/lactose. My stomach hurts so much when I eat out. I’ve gotten to a point where I’ve resigned myself to either not going out, not eating when going out, or risking the stomach ache. I waited 2 hours before writing this because I’m amazed that I don’t feel any pain right now. The food is actually good. Not like “good for being gluten free” but actually good. The man at the front- I think he must’ve been a manager of some kind, was the coolest guy. He answered every question with a smile, took care of every possible issue, and the place was sparkling clean. It can be really anxiety inducing to eat out when you have food allergies and I actually felt like I wasn’t a burden. It was a rare experience. I would come back to Atlanta just to eat here again. I don’t think they’re a chain but I hope they expand.

stopped by Stir house for the first time and couldn’t decide what to get, so I went with the build-your-own option — and I’m so glad I did. I ended up with noodles and oyster mushrooms, and wow… game changer. The texture of the mushrooms was perfect, and the General TSO sauce tied everything together with that ideal sweet and spicy kick. Chef T prepared my dish, and not only was the food amazing, but she brought such good energy. Super friendly, clearly passionate about what she does. Highly recommend if you’re vegan or just looking for some seriously tasty food.

Google
I'm a meat guy, but I have to hand it to this place for making damn good dish without it. Posted a picture of what I ordered. Would highly recommend eating here. Large portion size. Very modern space, and not over crowded. This place has stepped up the to-go bag and provides non-plastic utensils. Bathroom available for customers.

Google
Very cute restaurant, the music was great and staff very nice. You can custom your stir fry everything is Vegan and very good! Portion size is pretty good. Its not cheap but the taste is worth it!

Google
This food was SO GOOD! Both me (vegetarian) and my boyfriend (a meat-eater) loved it! The General Tsos was especially tasty, as well as the "shrimp". It's texture and taste was spot-on! I'll be dreaming about this place until we're back in Atlanta.

Google
I really wanted to like this place but I didn’t. The workers were really kind and helpful however the food just did not hit. I was shocked at the portion size for the pho, especially given the price. I don’t eat much and usually can’t even finish a lunch portion but that was not filling at all. I barely got any vegetables and the broth tasted like salty water.

Yelp
A much-needed addition to downtown Atlanta, this place is built around the idea that you can fit pretty much any diet by stir-frying some choice ingredients. Vegan and gluten-free diners will rejoice at the menu, because there's nothing on it that won't work. Upon walking in, there is ordering by kiosk. Normally, I find this a tad impersonal, but at a place like this where the whole point is customizing your order, it helps for clarity. There will be a bit of a wait since it's being made after you order, but the freshness will be worth it. I was mildly disappointed that they were out of tofu, but the breaded oyster mushrooms made a tasty substitute. With what they call jambalaya sauce and some red beans, I ended up with a bright, New Orleans-y flavor (but you would struggle to find vegan jambalaya in New Orleans; I've tried). It is a bright space with plant-focused decorations for those wanting to eat in, and is reasonably walkable from the capitol complex and other downtown sights.

Yelp
I was thrilled to find a vegan restaurant so close to the hotel where I stayed on my most recent trip to Hotlanta. I appreciated the copious combinations of boxes available, the contactless payment, and friendly service. My food was up super fast and did not disappoint. I went for a rice noodle base with savory tofu, broccoli, sweet peppers, scallions, and Mongolian sauce. I ate the whole thing (don't judge me) and was full for hours! Five stars.

Yelp
Delicious! Generous portions! We were happy to find an all Vegan restaurant for the family. Great flavors & many options. Most off all we loved connecting with Antonio, the owner... and Phil, who was so helpful with placing our first time order. We will definitely be back with more friends soon!

Yelp
After the first bite, I wanted to know if this place was national, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn they are new in Atlanta and have only been open a month. I am a meat eater, but my colleague is vegetarian and chose this place. The food is 10 out of 10. I had the DaVinci, Spring Rolls, and a Strawberry Lemonade. The decor and atmosphere are so inviting and clean. I raved about the cleanliness and thoughtfulness of the restroom. The art is beautiful, and the swing is quaint and great for photo ops! The owners speak to everyone and give great detail on how to order. The service is 10 out of 10.

Yelp
Savory and fast! Definitely returning when I come back to Georgia. The food was well flavored, not too much of anything over bearing, and I appreciated that it is gluten free.

Yelp
In Atlanta, needed some delicious vegan food and found it! Everything comes in a colorful sturdy takeout but we ate in the cozy dining area. The buddha was pineapple quinoa and we added some crispy awesome vegan shrimp. We also shared some Khan spicy noodles & both were superb. Fresh watermelon juice can't be missed for cooling off in the heat. The staff were all super cool and friendly and helpful. Definitely will go back again.

Yelp
I'm not going to lie food was great first 2 times I went.. Now the 3rd time I went it was so bad they lost me as repeating customer. No sauce in food, super oily & Missing add-ons. They weren't open to a refund & / Or compensation for this terrible service. One thing I don't like nor understand is that 2 different people " taste check " your food before it's served to you !!! I don't know about you but in all my years here on earth working in different restaurants as HEAD CHEF !! I've NEVER heard of such a thing. Nonetheless their establishment is pretty nice for the most part with a nice swing for the pictures & wall art. Maybe try their food you might have a different experience but me I like consistency & quality. Remember ladies & Gentlemen It's always Quality over Quantity. Thanks for taking your time to read this raw review off the top of my head. Peace & Blessings Everyone

Yelp
My first time in and I have no complaints. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and shown how to order etc I tried the cucumber salad (yum) And I made my own box with chicken and mushrooms On top of kale. Was a great meal and I'd def refer anyone who asks for an amazing Thai spot !

Yelp
I loved this restaurant that was close to my hotel, and I ate there as much as possible on my week in Atlanta, the menu has many options, everyone can find something to enjoy. Very tasty, healthy, great service and extremely affordable. I am not a vegan but stopped in with some vegan co-workers for lunch and got addicted. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Listeeeeeen my plant-based fellow beautiful souls! I ran across a gem today. I stopped by @stirhouseatlanta, Atlanta's newest premier vegetarian/vegan restaurants today and OH MY GOODNESS! The food was absolutely incredible!!! I mean it was rich in flavor, fresh, and absolutely delicious! Literally, the best vegan food I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Sorry y'all I was so excited when I smelled my food that I started eating and almost forgot to take a photo lol! So needless to say, you get a great deal more than what you see in the photos. What I can tell you is if you're not plant based now, Stir House Atlanta will instantly inspire you to cross over. Yaaaaassss!!! I also had the pleasure of meeting the owners Antonio and Phil. They were so personable, courteous, and kind and Antonio personally went over my menu choices with me to help me select my dinner choices. I was treated me like royalty! Not only that, the prices were great as well. Atlanta Stir house is my new favorite vegan restaurant here in Atlanta, hands down!
