The New Atlanta Restaurant Openings You Should Know About

"Stir House brings a vegan lunch option to downtown's Broad Street. Stir fry boxes allow the mixing and matching of noodles, rice and a variety of vegetables with proteins like tofu and faux shrimp. And the prices aren't bad for the giant portions you get." - juli horsford, jacinta howard

Stir House - Review - Downtown Atlanta - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Whenever we’re downtown during lunch, we head to Broad Street. The small, but mighty street near GSU’s campus already has an impressive roster of restaurants. And with Stir House, there’s a vegan-only option for a midday meal. After ordering at the tablets hanging on the wall, take a seat and inspect the bamboo centerpieces that feel rather sophisticated for Broad Street’s grab-and-go scene. All of the stir fry dishes clock in at $20, which seems pricey until you see the enormous portions packed into the tall takeout containers. Our favorite is the Lucky Buddha, filled with quinoa, broccoli, kimchi, and a heaping pile of fried oyster mushrooms." - Juli Horsford

Atlanta’s Restaurant Openings | Eater Atlanta

"The vegan, gluten-free Stir House opened in Downtown Atlanta offering jasmine rice and rice noodle bases with vegan toppings and sauces; I noted the opening drew city attention, including a ribbon-cutting attended by Mayor Andre Dickens." - Henna Bakshi

I was recently visiting Atlanta and got lunch at Stir House, which is mostly a take out build your own bowl type situation. It’s GF and vegan and starts with ordering at a self-serve kiosk. You pick your base which is either rice noodles, jasmine rice, or quinoa. Then you pick your protein. The options are tofu, Daring chick’n (which I don’t prefer since I am not GF), or vegan shrimp. You also pick three veggies. I got the rice noodles with tofu, broccoli, carrots, sweet bell peppers, and added 3 shrimp. And then you pick your sauce. I got the General Tso’s. It did not taste at all like General Tso’s, but it was pretty good. The service was friendly. It's a cute little fast food spot. The food was served molten lava hot so this would be a great delivery option too. If you are visiting Atlanta, it's a close walk from Centennial Olympic Park and lots of other downtown tourist spots.

Everything here is vegan, but don’t let that stop you from eating here. Orders are placed at cashless kiosks, but that didn’t keep the friendly staff from making me feel at home. I ordered the spring rolls and the Khan noodles, and both were excellent. The noodles were pleasantly spicy and saucy (not dry), with plenty of fresh vegetables and vegan chicken that had a great texture. The dining area is small but thoughtfully decorated with bamboo plants, cool murals, and comfortable seating. I stopped in shortly before closing, and the owner and his team were still all smiles and kindness. Great food, good people, and a higher purpose. Support this small business, Atlanta!

Came for the food, stayed for the vibes and more food. I was able to get dishes I have not gotten since I went vegan and gluten free. I highly recommend the eggroll and dessert empanada. Clean space with good and friendly service. Look forward to going when I am back in the area.

After a long day of wrestling, my husband, kids, and I were looking for a good vegan spot nearby and came across Stir House. We ordered the General Tso and the Lucky Buddha Bowl with added veggie chicken (the bowl already comes with fried oyster mushrooms on top). Both dishes were absolutely delicious! The General Tso had a nice kick to it, and the flavors were exactly what we were hoping for. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. You can tell the staff genuinely care—not only about the food but also about the experience. They even asked where we were from and thanked us for stopping by. When you walk in, you place your order at a kiosk, but since it was our first time, we went straight to the counter. The woman there was incredibly sweet and took the time to explain everything, including what they serve and that the entire menu is fully vegan. Great food, great service, and great vibes. Highly recommend Stir House if you’re in Atlanta and looking for flavorful vegan eats!

So glad I finally stopped on this place. I ordered spring rolls and a build your box for myself and my friend got the fried “shrimp” and lemon-grass coconut soup. I’m so pleased with everything and they give you very healthy portions. I didn’t get to try the soup but I’ll definitely be back for more! 10/10 recommend.

Google
100% GLUTEN FREE AND SO GOOD. I've never gotten to try bao buns because they're never gf but theirs were amazing, I appreciate how much work they are to make. The fried mushrooms are amazing too, and the kahn. My coworker who isn't gf also loved it. Would definitely go back when I'm in the area.

Google
Writing this review literally as I eat at Stir House for the first, but definitely not last, time. I’m not a local but googled “Atlanta vegan” while I was in town. Stir House was conveniently located and had lots of options I found mouth watering. I decided on the general tso’s and it was a GOOD decision! A delicious decision. Nicely spiced and huge portion. Yum! Also, the young man at the counter was absolutely lovely. Can’t wait to return again!

Yelp
A much-needed addition to downtown Atlanta, this place is built around the idea that you can fit pretty much any diet by stir-frying some choice ingredients. Vegan and gluten-free diners will rejoice at the menu, because there's nothing on it that won't work. Upon walking in, there is ordering by kiosk. Normally, I find this a tad impersonal, but at a place like this where the whole point is customizing your order, it helps for clarity. There will be a bit of a wait since it's being made after you order, but the freshness will be worth it. I was mildly disappointed that they were out of tofu, but the breaded oyster mushrooms made a tasty substitute. With what they call jambalaya sauce and some red beans, I ended up with a bright, New Orleans-y flavor (but you would struggle to find vegan jambalaya in New Orleans; I've tried). It is a bright space with plant-focused decorations for those wanting to eat in, and is reasonably walkable from the capitol complex and other downtown sights.

Yelp
I was thrilled to find a vegan restaurant so close to the hotel where I stayed on my most recent trip to Hotlanta. I appreciated the copious combinations of boxes available, the contactless payment, and friendly service. My food was up super fast and did not disappoint. I went for a rice noodle base with savory tofu, broccoli, sweet peppers, scallions, and Mongolian sauce. I ate the whole thing (don't judge me) and was full for hours! Five stars.

Yelp
Delicious! Generous portions! We were happy to find an all Vegan restaurant for the family. Great flavors & many options. Most off all we loved connecting with Antonio, the owner... and Phil, who was so helpful with placing our first time order. We will definitely be back with more friends soon!

Yelp
After the first bite, I wanted to know if this place was national, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn they are new in Atlanta and have only been open a month. I am a meat eater, but my colleague is vegetarian and chose this place. The food is 10 out of 10. I had the DaVinci, Spring Rolls, and a Strawberry Lemonade. The decor and atmosphere are so inviting and clean. I raved about the cleanliness and thoughtfulness of the restroom. The art is beautiful, and the swing is quaint and great for photo ops! The owners speak to everyone and give great detail on how to order. The service is 10 out of 10.

First time going today and I would say between the atmosphere, customer service and food I'm highly satisfied

Yelp
Savory and fast! Definitely returning when I come back to Georgia. The food was well flavored, not too much of anything over bearing, and I appreciated that it is gluten free.

Yelp
In Atlanta, needed some delicious vegan food and found it! Everything comes in a colorful sturdy takeout but we ate in the cozy dining area. The buddha was pineapple quinoa and we added some crispy awesome vegan shrimp. We also shared some Khan spicy noodles & both were superb. Fresh watermelon juice can't be missed for cooling off in the heat. The staff were all super cool and friendly and helpful. Definitely will go back again.

Yelp
Beyond amazing experience! Good top tier! Service was immaculate!!!! The owner came out personally to greet me and ask me about my food and experience. I am in love with the Khan and the fried shrimp so good!!!!

Yelp
I'm not going to lie food was great first 2 times I went.. Now the 3rd time I went it was so bad they lost me as repeating customer. No sauce in food, super oily & Missing add-ons. They weren't open to a refund & / Or compensation for this terrible service. One thing I don't like nor understand is that 2 different people " taste check " your food before it's served to you !!! I don't know about you but in all my years here on earth working in different restaurants as HEAD CHEF !! I've NEVER heard of such a thing. Nonetheless their establishment is pretty nice for the most part with a nice swing for the pictures & wall art. Maybe try their food you might have a different experience but me I like consistency & quality. Remember ladies & Gentlemen It's always Quality over Quantity. Thanks for taking your time to read this raw review off the top of my head. Peace & Blessings Everyone

Yelp
My first time in and I have no complaints. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and shown how to order etc I tried the cucumber salad (yum) And I made my own box with chicken and mushrooms On top of kale. Was a great meal and I'd def refer anyone who asks for an amazing Thai spot !

Yelp
I loved this restaurant that was close to my hotel, and I ate there as much as possible on my week in Atlanta, the menu has many options, everyone can find something to enjoy. Very tasty, healthy, great service and extremely affordable. I am not a vegan but stopped in with some vegan co-workers for lunch and got addicted. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Listeeeeeen my plant-based fellow beautiful souls! I ran across a gem today. I stopped by @stirhouseatlanta, Atlanta's newest premier vegetarian/vegan restaurants today and OH MY GOODNESS! The food was absolutely incredible!!! I mean it was rich in flavor, fresh, and absolutely delicious! Literally, the best vegan food I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Sorry y'all I was so excited when I smelled my food that I started eating and almost forgot to take a photo lol! So needless to say, you get a great deal more than what you see in the photos. What I can tell you is if you're not plant based now, Stir House Atlanta will instantly inspire you to cross over. Yaaaaassss!!! I also had the pleasure of meeting the owners Antonio and Phil. They were so personable, courteous, and kind and Antonio personally went over my menu choices with me to help me select my dinner choices. I was treated me like royalty! Not only that, the prices were great as well. Atlanta Stir house is my new favorite vegan restaurant here in Atlanta, hands down!
