This was one of the best experiences for our monthly cousin brunch. First the atmosphere: the restaurant is very airy and well lit. With the floor to ceiling glass windows, the restaurant is flooded with natural light. Our table was positioned with a corner booth and a couple of chairs. Although I will say, the white/cream armchairs are not to my liking. I'm a tall woman at 5'9", and I felt like my knees were in my ears. But other than it's great. Upstairs is where they have the DJ, and the vibe is more club-like but still comfortable. Next up is service: our sever, Thomas, was top tier! Especially as my cousin kept calling the man Jonathan the whole time. He didn't bat an eye or make a big deal out of it. He was gracious and made us feel completely welcome and comfortable. We him laugh, and he made us laugh. It was a very good time. If you can be seated in Thomas's area, you won't be disappointed. He didn't smother us with attention but made sure we were taken care of. A perfect balance. Lastly is the food: omg, the gorgonzola waffle fries were the bomb.com! The perfect amount of crispy with the bleu cheese grumbles and gorgonzola sauce. *chef's kiss* I ordered the shrimp and grits, and let me tell you, it was fabulous! You get about 5 jumbo shrimp with it, and it's seasoned perfectly. The chef knows what they're doing. The other orders were the chicken & waffles and the steak & eggs. No complaints for either of those dishes. We also had two orders of the mimosas, which comes with 3 juices: orange, cranberry and pineapple. Delicious! All in all, this was a great experience. I will definitely add this to my best od DFW eateries.

Google
Wow wow wow Thomas our waiter was absolutely amazing he was so friendly and personable! He made our experience much more enjoyable! Me and my cousin had the shrimp and grits that was absolutely delicious my sister had the chicken and waffles which was great and my other cousin had the steak and egg which was also amazing. The appetizer waffle fries were great as well. Overall it was a great experience. Thanks Thomas you are a winner!

We met our son and his partner for lunch and they chose Stirr, since they live close in Addison. Of course my wife checked the pics and reviews on Yelp on our drive from Fort Worth. It turned into brunch since we arrive at 1130 on a Sunday. As soon as you walk in I can hear the music cranked up a bit and realized we’re in a trendy place. They sat us upstairs where thr music was even louder. Lots of stairs to thr second floor if you give continue that gas difficulty climbing them. The music was just on the edge of being too loud but we were still able to have a conversation. That did change 30 minutes later when a DH came out to each table and said the music was getting “turn’t up”. That’s where our conversations stopped due to the volume. We ordered the cinnamon rolls (also known as monkey bread) to start. Everyone was disappointed in that. It was barely warm, not enough icing and way too much dough. I ordered the cheeseburger with bacon and s fried egg on it. Very delicious and well cooked. The fries were good too. My wife had the breakfast tacos and was not happy. They can’t out cold (breakfast tacos with scrambled eggs and bacon) and lacking seasonings. My son has the standard breakfast and said his eggs were barely warm as well. Here’s the kicker! This is an expensive breakfast and the quality of food was very dissatisfying for what we paid.

Had a great birthday brunch here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. Our server Lorenzo was friendly and attentive, he made sure we were taken care of. He even took our picture when I asked! The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, We’ll definitely be back!

Google
The atmosphere on a Sunday morning was peaceful and parking wasn't bad. There were plenty of seating on a Sunday morning. No reservation needed. Love the set up. We got the option to choose what floor we wanted to sit in. The windows, view of the sky in the second floor, and decorations are nice. The bathroom is clean and the front doors are huge. Great place to take cool photos. Food was delish! I like the fried food. 😋 Their mocktails were tasty! Cindy was our waitress and she checked on us regularly and refilled our drinks often and she also took our group photo for us at the stairway.

Aleta H.

Google
This place is amazing! My son and I dropped by because it was open and we were eating late. I'm glad we did. The music was a little too loud to have a conversation but I loved the vibe. The margarita was great but the food was better!!!

Google
Went here for brunch 4/27. The club sandwich was big and fun but the chipotle-avocado spread on it was not visible. The shrimp and grits had huge shrimp but uses cheese grits which are unhealthy. The gumbo soup was ok, but warm, not hot. The alcohol-free Mocktails are fun, but are Sprite or soda, syrup and flavoring over ice; their cost probably 30 cents. Our waitress brought a cup of gumbo when I ordered a bowl. When she brought the bowl, it seemed she sloshed it around the edges of the bowl which was unattractive. She then added to the bill a waffle we never had. The manager took off the overcharge and credited me for a Mocktail, but I think he should have required the waitress come by and sincerely apologize. I left a 20% tip to leave on an upbeat note but didn’t. The point of going out is to have a happy time but the waitress things spoiled it. I used to like Stirr, but now not as much.

Lorenzo and the team are awesome. I had the best time celebrating my birthday, they made my day so special 💗got the wings - they are life changing! Our table of 6 devoured 4 orders

Yelp
Service was amazing we had Lorenzo, he was very attentive and sweet! Orion was extremely accommodating. It was our first time coming, food was delicious, we will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Great place and mostly because of the manager Vanier, he made our experience amazing, great service and he is definitely the reason we will be returning! Thank you Vanier!

Jayhlon Y.

Yelp
Every time I visit Stirr, I'm always impressed by the great atmosphere and service. Vanier does an amazing job managing the place -- everything runs smoothly, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. You can really tell he cares about both the team and the guests. Definitely one of my favorite spots to relax and enjoy good food and drinks!

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my birthday lunch with my co-workers. The food and atmosphere were great!!! Service was good but they were short staffed so it took a long time to get our bill so we could pay. I would definitely come back here again later in the day (like for happy hour). Fun vibe and great menu options!!

Yelp
Come here for the feeling of a lounge experience combined with a bar and friendly staff. The perk: second floor is a dance floor in the late hours of the night I got the passion punch drink and I couldn't feel the passion. But the aesthetics of the drink was quite nice though The staff was kind and understanding as well - points for being accommodating. I come here for the vibes and they do deliver on the vibes of the environment

Yelp
Not even trying to shit on Stirr cause this is my absolute spot!! Sunday vibes always on point!! I usually stick to what I know but wanted to try something different I ordered the potatoes, scrambled eggs etc and steak... I came in hung o we from Saturday night so I woulda ate anything ... or so I thought The eggs are not real eggs .. There no way anyone can convince me those were not box- powered.. the potatoes were undercooked and so light skinned I was disgusted ! Like cooking brown them up let them cook longer and get a little skillet burn to them! The steak was cold and if it wasn't for the green sauce to save it I probably wouldn't have eaten it!! Also what's going on downstairs we were at the Bar and I noticed a lot of the seats have rips and holes I can't see myself giving Stirr 1 star cause that's my spot and I'm gone stick beside her .. However regardless of the price of eggs y'all can't be serving folks fake eggs man!!! I even had my brother and aunt taste to make sure I wasn't crazy!!!

Yelp
I went to STIRR with my girlfriends a few weeks ago and had such a great time! The food and drinks were so yummy--flavorful, fresh, and just what we needed to kick off the night. Our server was super sweet, super attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Downstairs gives off the perfect vibe for a chic date night, a girls' dinner, or even a solo bite if you're in the mood to treat yourself in style. But upstairs? That's where the party starts! After hours, it turns into more of a lounge-meets-club vibe with great music, good energy, and the kind of spot where you can dance it out or just vibe with your people. Whether you're out with your girls or your boo, it's the place to let loose and shake a little feather. Highly recommend for the full dinner-to-dancing kind of night!

Yelp
Truthfully, I was iffy about going here because of the mixed reviews. However, my coworker chose this place out of the list I had made for her, so why not? Coming in, the interior is very sleek and modern. The ambiance was fun and lively especially for a Wednesday evening. The service was good-he was pretty chill and nice! Drinks: Whenever I go for drinks, I usually stick with small shareable plates. For the drinks, I ordered 1 Espresso Martini, Seasonal Margarita, 1 Femme Fraise, and 2 Prosecco's. I would totally recommend the Femme Fraise, it's pretty refreshing and great. The Espresso Martini tasted more on the light and creamy side, whereas I usually like mine dark and bitter-sweet. The Seasonal Margarita just tasted like straight Tequila, but I still enjoyed it. My coworker had also ordered the Over The Waterfall and it also tasted like straight Tequila as well. The Prosecco's were good as usual! Food: We started off with the spinach & artichoke dip which was good! Had to order more bread due to the ratio being a little unbalanced which is not bad, but very common across restaurants nowadays. We split the Nashville fries, Brussel sprouts, and mashed potatoes. The Nashville fries were not spicy like how we were expecting, but they were flavorful! The Brussel sprouts were good and the mashed potatoes were simply just creamy mashed potatoes. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of American food nor do I ever crave it, but this place is actually a place where I would definitely come back to.

Yelp
Stirr is always a vibe! Whenever I go I always get the redfish and any drink on the menu. The services is always great, whether up or down stairs. Love the happy hour food and pricing & love the club vibes on weekends.

Yelp
We had party of 8/9 people. Service started good then went downhill after while. We couldn't even get a glasses filled with water towards the end. I guess the waiter had a long day but it created a bad experience for the customer. Food wasn't bad just service.

Karen O.

Yelp
The food was tasty, but I prefer soft and hot rolls. The service was slow but it was Thanksgiving so everyone understood. The appetizers came during the main entree and seemed like an afterthought. I wish they had the standard desserts (pumpkin or apple pie). It was a struggle to get extra whipped cream and the bread pudding was dry. The best part of the set meal was the turkey. It was very moist and was eaten quickly even though the gravy was minimal. I would probably go for a steak next time
google avatar

Joneice B.

Yelp
Food overall was good here. Seemed like two different restaurants. The upstairs was really loud. So loud you could feel the music downstairs. I am sure it was a good time up there but wasn't my vibe on that day. Menu was diverse, to include mock tails. Our server was nice. Parking lot gets packed so give yourself plenty of time.
google avatar

Stephanie D.

Yelp
It was just okay. Once our server came to our table, she was great, but it took 5+ minutes before anyone noticed us sitting there. Drinks were good. Food was just okay. There are tons of restaurants in this area, and STIRR will need to step up to remain a contender.
google avatar

Ebony E.

Yelp
Great for groups, plenty menu options to accommodate anyone. Simple foods. You can customize menu options. Drinks were tasty. Service quick polite and patient.
google avatar

Yelp
Stirr is a nice weekend vibe. Depending on the time of day, it can get crowded very quickly so plan accordingly. I had zero intentions of eating here, but somehow ended up ordering the Spicy Buffalo Chicken Flatbread. The buffalo sauce was a bit overwhelming and took over all the over flavors. It wasn't a terrible flatbread, but I expected something different. Chill environment and chill staff so a time was still had.

Yelp
Such a great time. Our server was amazing Ms.vanessa! Thank you so much for your amazing service and love the red hair btw

Yelp
Amazing service!!!!! Camille helped make my best friend's birthday the best one! Starting with with coupons, then a free drink for her, and ending with a slice of cheesecake, everything was amazing.

Yelp
Let me tell you. I had two tables reserved as we had a large party. We were celebrating two bdays. In total we were about 22-28 people. From Cindy to Sammy, and Kennedy, they were all so accommodating. They confirmed prior to the day, we had the tables we had requested . The actual day of, they were expecting us and had the tables prepared quickly. I rarely experience great service when I host large parties. This was the exception. We were treated exceptionally since the start. And at the table, the drinks and food came at a good time. Kennedy was great and very attentive and quick. I understand it's not an easy task to help such a large group and you all made it happen. We had a special day thanks to you. Thanks again Stirr Addison for this great experience. Will not hesitate to book again for our large events.
google avatar

Yelp
Visiting Dallas and several people recommended STIRR, I went with my family kids included for brunch, (wouldn't really suggest for family as the don't have a kids menu and most restaurants that don't have kids menus have select options or can easily accommodate), but overall we made it work. The ambiance is cool; downstairs was more relaxed upstairs is more of the "turn-up" brunch area, with loud music etc... you could hear the music downstairs but it was a bother for us. The service was fast out waitress was good, nothing extraordinary but good. Average..,no complaints. As far as the food. The dounts were delicious and you can't go wrong with the chicken and waffles.
google avatar

Yelp
If your server is not Vanessa you are missing out! She is awesome and made sure we were all taken care of and went above and beyond! Will be coming back just for her!

Yelp
HAPPY HOUR!!!! That is the key word for Stirr. Met co-workers there after work to enjoy a cocktails and appetizers. The atmosphere was nice but the music got gradually loud but not annoying. We basically had the upper level to ourselves. The service was good as well . We'll be back!
google avatar

Chels T.

Yelp
Service was great. Our server was very friendly and attentive and also helpful with questions regarding other items. The ambiance is a really good vibe. First time here and when you walk in it looks nice and there's an upstairs (where we sat). It was a a Saturday night and once it got to 10pm the lights turn out and the music turns up and it goes down!!! I think u can opt to go downstairs if you choose that way you can still chat with the people you're with. It would have been nice to know what happens at 10 just because we just got dessert and it was hard to see what we were eating but it worked out okay. Food was really good We got spinach dip which I didn't get a picture but it was good Chicken friends steak- delicious Brussels- they were okay Philly- good, fries great Ribs-good, fries great Dessert- good I actually got the buffalo egg roll appetizer as a meal and the egg rolls were delicious. They don't give you a lot though basically two egg rolls cut in half. A good vibe especially if you wanna have a good meal at night and then just listen to some music and chair dance for a while. Food was great.

Yelp
I've been here a few times but this last time was a better experience. The food was good and drinks were flowing. Also we sat upstairs it was just a little loud but I was close to the Dj. The service was good. They were just a little short staff so I get it.
google avatar

Mercedes L.

Yelp
Came for Brunch on a Sunday and we sat upstairs. Our server Vanessa H was absolutely amazing!!! If she could be our server every time I would keep coming back! The DJ was lit and it hit every time too!
google avatar

Shelley F.

Yelp
Great place to host a large brunch gathering! The inside is really cute with lots of natural light coming in. There is also an upstairs floor! From the start, customer service was excellent. It was hard deciding what to order because the menu had so many great options, but I went with the chicken fried ribeye. The duck fat gravy could've been a tad more flavorful. I do think the ribeye was slightly tough but nothing too egregious. On the other hand, the mashed potatoes were excellent!

Tori W.

Yelp
Vanier was amazing in helping execute my private event for my company. I will be returning only if he is there!
google avatar

Pam C.

Yelp
TBH I didn't think I would like this restaurant! The menu is all over the place-I think every cuisine is represented. It has seafood, Italian, Chinese, Cajun, BBQ and American. How could all of these be perfected?! Well apparently I'm wrong. Everything my party of 6 ordered, from ribs to calamari to Cajun chicken was tasty and exciting to eat. We started with the crispy calamari with sweet chili dip and volcano dip. This calamari rivals the best in Dallas. Tender big pieces fried to perfection on top of well seasoned slaw. We also shared the caprese bruschetta which was a stunning presentation and taste to match. The dish came with 5 slices and I'm disappointed that the waiter didn't offer to bring us 6 slices as there were 6 of us. I had the Cajun chicken frites for my entree. This featured tender pieces of pan seared chicken in a beurre blanc sauce. I recommend! The fries were also excellent and I do believe Stirr has mastered frying! Husband had the lobster ravioli. I did not get one bite so there you go. Service was good. Nice atmosphere.

Yelp
I had a great time! Vanessa was the best. Super attentive & great service. Will definitely request for her next time!

Yelp
I produced a networking event at Stirr last night. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating especially (John and Vanier, and Josselyn) They were very helpful figuring out the logistics of where to put us, went over menu options, service was over the top, and the food was great. Not to mention the cool vibe of the place. I highly recommend Stirr for any event, or just a simple pop in. Thanks, guys!

Alex C.

Yelp
Man, where do I even begin. Vanessa helped me out 10+ people with no reservation. Let me tell you she went above and beyond and made sure our outing was amazing for my friends and myself. I can't stress this enough, she keep coming and coming with 5 star service. Next time you come, please ask for Vanessa

Yelp
I traveled here for a work trip and went here for dinner with the team. I ordered the golden chicken wings, which were really good size that I was able to save some for the following day. We ordered the spinach artichoke for the table and it went by fast because it was super delicious. For a drink, I settled for the dinner passion and it did not disappoint. The restaurant was not busy which made the service fast and the server was attentive and helpful especially with her on point recommendation.

Anthony N.

Yelp
Vanessa offered me and my group great service and the atmosphere was friendly and upbeat. The food and drinks were delicious and I can't wait to come back! Shout out again to Vanessa for providing a great time!

Yelp
Vanessa provided amazing service and was very professional!! Made my time here a blast!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night and waited about 10 to 15 minutes for a table. Once we were seated though, there were plenty of tables, so I'm not even sure why we had to wait so long to be seated. I'm assuming it was because they were short staffed, but nonetheless, it was an unnecessary wait. Our severs were nice and attentive. And the cowboys game was on so it was a decent atmosphere downstairs and upstairs had a DJ and you could get bottle service. Now for the food... Meatballs: 3/5 Good as an appetizer for two or as a main. The meatballs were ok but I wonder if they were frozen previously. The cheese on the bread wasn't even melted completely which was disappointing. I ordered extra marinara sauce on the side and the sauce was hotter than the dish when it came out. French fries: 5/5 these fries were delicious and I recommend barbecue sauce instead of the ketchup...unless they have spicy ketchup that I don't know about. But the fries were nice and hot. They were flavorful and I enjoyed them. I'm a potato person anyway so as long as the fries were good, I can enjoy my meal. Ginger passion: 3/5 this drink was OK. It had way too much ice for my liking but I guess that's your typical restaurant drink when they give you a lot of ice. I did enjoy the flavor and I would get it again, but ask for less ice.

Yelp
Disclaimer: My family visited for their thanksgiving day prix-fixe. Most of the items we had are not on their regular menu. When asked to substitute a vegetable from their regular menu (broccolini) for the cornbread stuffing on their thanksgiving menu, it was unavailable. -- Our reservation was early on thanksgiving day. STIRR created a special menu for the holiday. We arrived on time and were seated quickly upstairs. The ambiance is relaxed yet trendy and fun, and from the upstairs you overlook the tops of a canopy of trees as far as the eye can see. Delicious food and solid drinks through and through. From the host to the server, the restaurant staff was attentive and friendly. Even though many of the items on the holiday menu are not offered normally, everything from the salad and soups , the entrees , and onto the desserts were well made and tasty. My favorites were the Caribbean glazed ham entree and the bourbon pecan pie. I also really enjoyed their Tequila Old Fashioned, which is a standard on the regular everyday cocktail list, as well as their margarita. They've got a full bar in addition to a fun cocktail list with several options from sweet to boozy,

Yelp
Stir had such a great atmosphere. Very fun and great ambience. Our server Vanessa was very attentive and super friendly. Great food and drinks!

Yelp
Vanessa was awesome, and had great service. Always tended to the table and was very vibrant

Yelp
This was my first my first visit into Stirr, even though many of my friends are regulars here. All I can say is wow! Rebecca was my bartender downstairs tonight and was awesome. She's not just a drink slinger, she is a true bartender that provided the best service to my buddy and I, and can make a mean old fashioned! The food was delicious too and definitely elevated for bar food. Will definitely be back and bring friends with me be time!

Yelp
I don't usually visit restaurants with less than four stars on Yelp and I'm sorry of that makes me sound like a snob, but because a friend of mine made this choice I went along with it. We arrived right at opening and the restaurant stayed mostly empty during our meal even though it was Sunday brunch. The venue itself was nice and upscale and I've got to say that even though our party was rather large, we did receive good service. Unfortunately my issue is really with the food. We started with the ahi tuna tacos which were passable if not inspired, but that was okay with us. Next we got the shareable meatballs and again this was alright - the taste was actually quite good, it's just that the meatballs were the most dense I think I've ever had, like you needed a knife to assist with cutting. Where I got a bit frustrated was with the sourdough breakfast melt, which had a great description on the menu including scrambled egg, cheese, jalapeño bacon, tomato, avocado, and garlic aioli on sourdough. When the sandwich was delivered to the table all that was on it was scrambled eggs, cheese, and a bit of tomato as pictured. We asked the server if it could please have the other ingredients added and when it was brought back the second time it had bacon on it and one half had a little avocado. Once again we asked specifically for avocado for the second half and for the garlic aioli and when those ingredients were brought to the table, we deconstructed each half, reassembled with all the ingredients it was supposed to have and then ate it. Now, had it been delivered as ordered I probably would've given them 3 stars because when we did finally eat it, it was a fine sandwich, but because of all the hoops we had to jump through it's got to be two.

Yelp
It's cool for brunch or just for drinks but lunch/ dinner is mediocre. Beautiful restaurant and friendly staff but the food just doesn't leave more to be desired. I think most people go upstairs for the "club" scene but I wouldn't recommend this place to actual foodies

Had a great girls brunch here and our waitress Vanessa was attentive and helpful. The view from the top floor was great.

Yelp
So .. first. This place has a 20% surcharge added automatically on your checks. As well as a commodity fee. The food was just ok. I got the brunch burger and it was nothing special. My gfs and I got there before the dj started his set and we are so glad we left because this place gets CRAZY and LOUD. It can be fun if you're into that but that was not the vibe that my girls and I were going for so we left.

Yelp
The upstairs is so beautiful! Came at 6pm on a Saturday and was happy to see it was mostly empty as I know later in the evening it gets much more lively. Our waitress also frequently checked in on us and made sure we were set as well as offered some ways to make a drink virgin for my friend. Music was a little loud for 6-8pm personally, I know it becomes more clubby at night but expected it to be a more toned down earlier but felt almost like I was yelling in an empty restaurant lol. Also, floors were sticky and the menu I was given was falling apart a smidge. Cute spot for a trendy night out but not my typical scene!

Yelp
Atmosphere: Large dining area with an upstairs area as well. Very clean with lots of natural light. 1 Star Service: Brandon was our waiter, ask for him by name, he was fantastic. You won't be disappointed. We also had the manager/owner? come to our table a couple of times, just to help refill drinks and chit chat. Very welcoming place. 2 Stars Food: DO NOT SKIP getting the Giant Donut Holes. These are actually just beignets served on a spire and coated with cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar. They were perfection! Super soft and light on the inside with a nice bite on the outside. The 3 dipping sauces were also top-notch with the Raspberry Dip being the star of the show. These were gone in a matter of seconds. We all argued over what to order, so we decided to get 4 different things and split them 4 ways. We started with the Stirr Brunch Smash Burger. A burger with fried egg, voodoo onions, and boom boom sauce. It was delicious. Secondly, we had the Breakfast Tacos which consisted of 3 flour tortilla tacos. Great flavor. Third was the Honey Stung Chicken and Waffles. A huge Texas shaped Belgian waffle, with a side of hot honey and maple syrup. Accompanied by some very tasty chicken tenders. I'm not a big Belgian waffle kind of guy, but this one was top-notch. Finally, and most impressive visually, was the Goosed Biscuit Breakfast Sammy. Stacked on top of a very large halved buttermilk biscuit, was a fried chicken breast and pepperjack cheese, over-easy egg, and some thick cut bacon. The top part of the biscuit was slathered with a jalapeño jelly and it was served with a side of black pepper gravy. Not only did it look impressive, but all of those flavors melded very well. 2 Stars Overall: I would come here for average food if the service is always this good. Combine this excellent service with good food, and it's no wonder it's a popular brunch spot on the weekends. 5 Stars
