Stone Age Korean Grill Will Open in Katy With Hot Stone Cooking - Eater Houston

"Stone Age Korean Grill is a new restaurant project by Pascal Choi, expected to open soon in Katy, at 20940 Katy Freeway, in the Gardens at Westgreen development. Unlike many Korean barbecue joints that use tabletop gas grills, Stone Age will focus on hot stone cooking, using a flat volcanic stone about 1 inch thick to cook a variety of dishes. The menu, yet to be finalized, teases sous vide short ribs, sashimi tacos, bouncy udon with tempura, foie gras toast, and steaks finished on the table. The restaurant will also feature house-made desserts by Choi’s wife, Hui Lim, a pastry chef." - Brittanie Shey

From start to finish, this was an unforgettable dining experience. The attention to detail was impeccable — the staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and the service was flawless. The food? Absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. A special shoutout to Nicole and Janna, who went above and beyond to make our evening perfect. She was friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be coming back! And recommending to all friends! This is a MUST GO restaurant in katy! Is a Gem!!!!

We enjoyed the food and atmosphere here! Phillip was very accommodating, excellent service! My son had fun and wanted to go back again. Plus i’m a cake lover and found the chocolate Concorde to be delish. Highly recommended.

Picked this spot to try out with my kiddos. Our waiter was so calm and efficient at the same time. Loved his energy. The sweet and spicy chicken (appetizer) was amazing 🤩 perfectly cooked and super tasty. The tofu and bulgogi bibimbop were delightful. Everyone fully enjoyed their dishes and I would certainly come back for more 😋

Google
The food was amazing and our server Janna was spectacular. She was present and kind and radiated care. The chef set was very good with a delicious assortment of buttery textured good quality meats. The bulgogi mandu (potstickers) were very good. The chicken was lovely but the beef was out of this world. (We got some as a take home). The kimchi was really good and the corn cheese was perfect to satisfy my craving.

Google
Service was great, everything was delicious. We got the tri tip stone grill kit for lunch and it was amazing! Bulgogi mac n cheese was delish too, will be returning :) 🫰🏼💞

Google
Awesome place. We got to try a lot of new Korean food and drink. The premium plum soju was amazing. We got the kimchi fries, chicken skewers and so much more. Our waiter was informative and very helpful with our first time.

We visited Stone age after several great recommendations, it did not disappoint. We were met by Nicole, the hostess, who was so attentive and gave us excellent recommendations. Every dish was excellent, made from scratch and with so much flavor. I was so impressed by not only the personal service and good humor but also how passionate they are about the quality of food they serve. Would highly recommend, short rib cooked on stone, the beef dumplings are sensational, loved the mac’n’cheese, garlic shrimp and oyster mushrooms. Thank you for a fantastic evening

Yelp
WOW!! We wanted to find a quality korean bbq place and this definitely met our expectations. It is a pretty expensive experience; however, I do think it is worth it for every once in a while!! The server was great and helped us with our choices for what to order. For appetizers, we got the gochujang fried shrimp, which was DELICIOUS. The shrimps were crunchy and HUGE. The sauce was a little spicy and sweet and perfect with the shrimp. I'd definitely get this dish again! The sotteok was equally as yummy but not as unique so I would only get it if I was craving it. The seafood pancake was super crispy and full of seafood! I always get seafood pancake with korwan bbq, and I'd get this one again. Now onto the star of the show, the meats! Since this was our first time, we got the chef's table which came with 4 preselected meats and 2 sides. We got the corn cheese and kimchi, which were both decent. Out of the 4 meats, our favorite was the unmarinated kalbi, which was probably the best kbbq kalbi I've ever had. It was soooo tender and delicious with all of the sauces included! We got 2 more half servings of it just because it was sooooo good. I'll be dreaming of this meat :-) The pork belly was also super goood as well and a nice contrast from the beef. All in all, I'd just get the unmarinated kalbo and pork belly next time if I were to go back, which I definitely will. Cooking on the stone is a fun experience but it does cool down quite quickly. We only changed it once during our meal but probably could have changed it once more since at the end our meat was cooking slowly and thus wasn't as hot and charred. Overall a cool experience and can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Food was okay. Service was great and I would come back just the tables weren't clean when I came in. Other than that no complaints

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food and service, came with my niece and daughter and my friend and the atmosphere is great and I would totally recommend and come back for more!

Yelp
I've been wanting to try a new type of Korean bbq, and liked the hot stone concept. Like the location, restaurant is nice inside and staff was friendly and helpful. We got the combo for 2 with garlic shrimp and pork belly. Seasame dressing salad , good. Bimbipap, average. Spicy edamame, awful. Kimichi, awful. Potato salad, no thanks. Chicken skewers, not good. Pork belly, delicious. Garlic shrimp, didn't taste garlicy at all, average Sauces on the side, good. We didn't get to try any of their soups or apps. Overall, if I came back again, I would only do the meat and stone, that part was good and maybe try one of their soups. But I will say, the prices for the meats a la carte are pricey. $45 for a plate of galbi is crazy, considering there are so many AYCE korean bbq restaurants for way less per person. If you go just for the experience, I'd suggest stick with meats a la carte and try the other options on your own.

Yelp
I took my GF here for her birthday and I couldn't be happier. They were very welcoming and even had a lil happy birthday sign and flowers decorating the table. This was our very first time trying Korean BBQ and from start to finish it was a great experience. Our waitress was nice, personable and also gave us a lil cooking lesson. I honestly felt like we were having like a 10 course meal. The food was great, ( cooked by yours truly ) and survived to eat another day. The meatballs were my absolute favorite, I never had anything like this before. I could honestly sit down and eat at least 37 of them. All in all it was a great experience, something about cooking over an 800 degree stone that just ties it all together.

Yelp
Family made reservations here for my birthday and our first Korean bbq experience. It was super intimate and I loved every minute of it. The service was amazing, personable and so helpful! So grateful to this establishment for making my birthday special. I liked the concept of using a hot stone. It made me feel like my food was being cooked 'cleaner' without the chemicals of a flame. I'm typically sensitive to spicy flavors but nothing was too hot to handle! We ended up getting the Meat Lovers meal and chose 3 proteins - Chicken, pork bell & shrimp. Everything was delicious from the appetizers to dessert. I could do without the chicken skewers next time and go for more of the meat balls. They were my favorite!! My only complaint would be the Bulgogi Rice Bowl. You could hardly call it a rice bowl. There was barely any rice in it and we were hoping for a healthy portion as we were sharing everything. Everything about it was amazing but it was hard to get over the lack of rice. Both the chocolate cake and creme brûlée were so decadent! It was really the sweetest ending to a delicious evening. Special thank you to Nicole who waited our table, who really made it night we won't forget!

Yelp
We ordered chef's choice and it was really good. The restaurant is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The meat was really tender and flavorful. You could choice premium side dishes that came with the set. Portion is pretty generous. We left really full and happy. Service was very attentive and the owner/chef came out to ask us how everything was. Definitely recommend this place and will come back with friends and family.

Yelp
My friends and I have been meaning to try this restaurant for a long time-- and we were not disappointed. We went for a late lunch and the restaurant was quite empty. We got excellent service though. The stone grill wasn't explained to us in detail at the beginning because our first few pieces of ribeye stuck to the stone, bc we didn't know that we had to grease the stone with the butter first. Afterwards, things went smoothly. There was plenty of food since we got the Chef's table and fisherman's catch for 6 of us. We were so satisfied at the end of the meal. The decor inside is the modern industrialized look. We can't wait to come back.

Yelp
This place has a really nice concept but it felt like a nice place that I'd go once for the experience and picture then never go again. The food was good but I decided on the rating because I could get better food for the price. Service: 4 We went right when it open so it may be different during rush hour but it was nice how the staff was attentive and would check in on us. However, I did wish that they explained how to prepare the stone for the meat. Food: 3.5 When the sotteok came and was amazing I had high hopes for everything else. However, it was the highlight of the meal. While components of the meal were good. There were small things that made the meal feel incomplete which left me disappointed at the end. Sotteok: 5 This was my favorite! The rice cakes were cooked perfectly so they were crispy and soft! Plus the sauce blended perfectly with the sausage/rice cake combo! Seafood Pa Jeon: 2.5 I was really shocked when it came out because there were large parts that were burned. Especially because older Asians and especially Koreans don't eat things that are burned to that extent since they believe it could cause cancer. Unfortunately I didn't ask for it to be recooked since I thought it a new concept that was suppose to add something to the pancake so I ended up just eating the pancake and tasting the char which overwhelmed the actual pancake. $10 wasn't bad for a seafood Jeon but it was half the size of one from other Korean restaurants and it had less seafood Stone grill NY strip: 3 Basically just Unami flavors and pinches of saltiness. If you are a meat eater this is probably perfect for you! While the cut of meat itself was worth 5 stars. The issue was that there weren't component of a normal Korean BBQ which caused the meal to be one dimensional since there was no complexity. For example, I would normally put pickled radish or some type of side to help cut that Unami taste to make it more lighter and so it would balance out the lettuce. However, there were no traditional side dishes provided and the lettuce wrap kit was very basic compared to what you could do with the side dishes at other places. Also, they didn't explain how the meat should be cooked but luckily the meat didn't stick to the stone without the oil that was provided in the side. I appreciated that they gave us rice even if we didn't pick it as one of the two sides! Korean fried chicken fried rice: 3.5 The fried chicken itself was good but it was mediocre compared to other Korean fried chicken I had.

Yelp
A very nice Korean restaurant in Katy. They are known for Korean BBQ but on hot stone. The service was really attentive, even the owner chef Choi came out and walked around and check on the customers. It's nice to have a fancy Korean BBQ restaurant in Katy. So people who lives in Katy or further west don't need to drive too far for good Korean food. But it's still worth the drive if you live in Houston for this place.

Yelp
Yummy Khai super friendly and service outstanding Wife love the food and service we coming back soon

Yelp
The people there were so nice and welcoming. The food was great and we really enjoyed our time! I still dream about that samgyupsal pork belly on the stone grill. We ordered it with the lettuce platter and it came with the best and freshest tasting ssamjang we have ever had. Definitely tasted like it was made in house. Even my husband who doesn't usually like ssamjang praised it. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Food was so delicious. Got to cook it on the stone and it was fun doing with the fam. Service was very excellent. Fun and entertaining. Atmosphere was so pretty nice. We love it.

Yelp
Must try. Had a reservation for 3 for 6 pm on a Friday night. The parking can be taxing if you come later bc there are so many restaurants in this plaza. We opted for the stone age set for 2-4 people for $79 which included: Wings (4) House salad Spicy edamame Potato salad Kimchi Rice (2) Lettuce kit (wrap the meat) Bibimbap C.A.B flat iron top blade Pork belly Also ordered the japchae (cause it's my fave) The stone comes out hot. The pork belly is partially cooked (it's a thick cut of meat) and you cook it through on the stone. It was really tender, juicy and delicious. The top blade was silky and good. Everything was really good. The japchae and bibimbap were well so very good. There is also toppings like garlic cloves, peppers and dipping sauces like sesame oil + blk pepper and ssamjang. The service was top knotch. Our waittress.(don't remember her name) but was knowledgeable about the food and gave us great drink suggestions. She was also pretty and gave us some kbeauty product recommendations. There was also a guy name Ryo that was so nice and attentive. Before we even left, we all agreed that we'd def come back again even if it's a drive for us. Worth it!.

Yelp
The Korean food here is actually pretty good. It's pricey though, I'll keep it honest. The black bean noodle I had $15 but it was good! The pork was well cooked and marinated. the noodles the sauce was great. Tops off with sunny side eggs. It was delicious. The kids eat free on Tuesday!! The chicken tender and the tempura shrimp was great too so that's awesome they do that. We didn't go because of that. My wife's birthday was on on Tuesday and she loves kbbq. The chicken skewers was not bad. Sauce isn't as savory but np. It's not like a Japanese yakitori so my expectations wasn't exceedingly high. Steam eggs was pricey and flavor wasn't there. Well if I had to compare it to like Bellaire honey pig kbbq. So I wouldn't get that again. The bibimbap was good according to my in laws and my wife. The kbbq experience, we got the 2-4 ppl set $80. Honestly probably not your typical kbbq style and it's not marinated for you so that's something to think about. The cuts are slightly thick and long. It's cooked on a stone so you're gonna lose that time you would grill the meat and have conversations. It pretty much didn't cook after like 10-15 mins because it wasn't hot anymore. Pretty much the Korean dishes other than the bbq is pretty good! I personally would come back for the black bean noodles, bibimbap, and the mango dessert. The establishment was decent size and has a nice vibe. Price is going to be higher than other kbbq places. I thought the staff was nice.

Yelp
Best food ever! Owners are so sweet and have remembered us ever since our first visit
google avatar

Tran L.

Yelp
It was an interesting set up. The meat cuts were good, service and ambience were great. If you're a slow eater then this will definitely suit you since it does take a while for the meat to cook since it doesn't get hot like a gas/charcoal grill.

Yelp
What should I say? Anything beyond this is just pure blissful mess talking. My wife had seen this place for a while and didn't think too much of it. We are slapping ourselves now tbh. The food was great. The service great. And the atmosphere is great! Everything we tried is below and ranked out of 5 (spoiler...the bulgogi Mac and cheese was freaking great! It got a 12 lol!). Overall, we loved it here and we are already planning on coming back. Some things about the food. And really there is only one. I am a big dude; let's just make that clear. And I even had to ask for a Togo box for my stone bowl. It was THAT MUCH FOOD! Bulgogi Mac & Cheese: 12/5 Steamed Egg: 5/5 Bulgogi Rice Stone Bowls with Fried Egg: 5/5 Corn & Cheese: 5/5 Kimchi: 5/5 Mango Parfait: 5/5

Layla T.

Yelp
So the Korean food doesn't taste Korean. Lol not sure how to put it. We got the pork belly w lettuce kit, the pork belly fried rice, the spicy rice cakes. It was typical Korean fare but a taste we've never experienced before. Really curious about their recipe. Or it could be they grilled the pork belly first and then grilled the remaining entrees in the same wok using the same pork belly grease - it was really oily and nothing that was supposed to be spicy was spicy. The mac n cheese was pretty good. I think it's worth trying again and will reserve final judgment until I give it another go.
google avatar

Deandre M.

Yelp
Stoneage never disappoints! It's such a great date night spot and I love the variety of sets.

Melanie B.

Yelp
Amazing food! Love their bulgogi and you have to try the Korean Mule. Delicious!! Service was impeccable! Also, bulgogi fries are delectable!
google avatar

Jenn D.

Yelp
They do have great quality of meat, nice sides and drinks. They only thing I hate is that they made changes on their menu and I felt like that's going to lose their customers. For all combos with a not much meat for a pricey price? Hmm the mgt need to revise those menu.
google avatar

W W.

Yelp
Service is friendly. Food, however, disappoints. It does not taste fresh but artificial / GMO. And the a la carte side dishes is not traditional business restaurant model but contemporary milk-as-much-money-from-the-customer-by-charging-every-side-dish model. Avoid!
google avatar

Agnes S.

Yelp
Had the best first time experience with friends there. The food was amazing and the owners and staff made sure my surprise birthday party was perfection! They added their personal touch with so much charisma and class! Can't wait to bring my own crew here to enjoy the food and ambience !
google avatar

Tara W.

Yelp
We always wanted to try this place. The food was good and the service was fast. The best part of the experience was that the server was very friendly and super fast and he took care of us. The only problem was we ordered the meet for the stone and we didn't really enjoy it cuz the pork belly kept splattering all over our skin like hot oil lol. Will make sure we don't get pork belly nxt time. Thank you.
google avatar

B M.

Yelp
Service was great and the server was attentive to tables. Food was great overall. As much as I love mushrooms I did not like these but to each his own.
google avatar

Justin C.

Yelp
I love the mood and atmosphere of Korean bbq. Usually it's on a nice grill with quite a few people huddled over the cooking meats and banchan. While Stone Age's concept sounds like it should be the same, it's a little odd in practice. The sense of accomplishment is kind of taken away when some of the meat is cooked partially before it arrives at your table with the hot stone. It also felt like there was little room to cook everything on the stone; I don't think I'm misremembering every other kbbq spot with a traditional grill. All that aside, I think my favorite stone grill item was the boneless galbi. Also, the sides I had were good but nothing special. I might give this place a second chance even though there's also a plethora of kbbq places to check out in Houston. Good for a smaller party if you don't have the numbers of huge kbbq outing.

Yelp
Tried their lunch special and happy hour appetizer on weekday afternoon. Very quiet place. Love the squid bowl. Their food is delicious and the service is friendly. Will go back try other lunch special items.

Yelp
Hands down, hands up, hands side to side best service and food I have had at a Korean BBQ in a long time. Food was fresh and delicious. Waiter was on point with drinks and such. Now I recommend trying cooking on the stone. It's amazing and the food just tastes so much better for some reason.

Wes F.

Yelp
This was our 2nd visit as our first visit was top notch. This visit did not go as well. We arrived and were seated promptly at 4:45 as we ordered drinks and an appetizer. Upon the waiters return with our drinks we ordered the Butcher's Cut but were told it was only available between 11.00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. We all looked at our phones or watches and it was 4:55 pm and it was Friday. The waiter went on to say he wasn't sure why they even offered this special. Needless to say we were not pleased. So instead of ordering this $32 special we had to change our plans and ordered the $78 set which is for 2-4 people and yes this set had one more meat then the Butcher's Cut less the pork belly, which we especially like on our first visit so we had to order this $13 add-on to get everything we wanted. It was kind of a bait and switch situation from $32 to a $91 main course and more food than we needed. We blew this off and enjoyed the rest of our meal and drinks which were again delicious. We believe the waiter was part of management and was short handed as he was making drinks and serving the whole restaurant by himself. Later a very nice lady (manager) came by to treat our 17 month old grandson to a mini-smoothie which he loved. The service and food were great once we got through the early disappointment, but not sure we'll be back.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!!! The service was impeccable!! We went on a date night and we had the best experience!!! We got one of their deal meals and had pork belly and garlic shrimp. AMAZING!!! I personally don't like Kim chi but this one was very delicious!! It was worth every penny!!!! Ask for Khai, he was our server and he was very knowledgeable and prompt. The chef came by and met us and chatted with us. I can't brag enough about this place!!! We definitely WILL be back!!!
google avatar

Thuy V.

Yelp
The bbq experience is exemplary. I had the grilled lobster and pork belly. They both came with rice and two sides each, and can be grilled on hot stone plates with dipping sauces. The lobsters were 4 tiny lobsters, small but meaty and flavorful while the pork belly came as approx 4" tender strips. Nevertheless I devoured the lobsters and pork belly. Service was exceptional and very attentive to customers.

Yelp
Parking can suck. Saturday evening the lot is packed. So this kbbq place was slightly different. You grill it yourself on a hot stone grill so there's less smoke--that's a plus. You can request for stone switch after it cools down. You get fork & knife to eat. They don't give you chopsticks unless you ask for them--Which is extremely odd for an Asian restaurant and we're an Asian family eating. Kim chi side dishes they don't give a lot at all. The stews were small, expensive, and broth not as tasty as other places. Oh they didn't give us spoons either for our soups. We had to ask for that too. The seafood pancake was ok. The grilled meats were tasty especially the short ribs and pork belly. The condiments (salt in oil, jalapeño with garlic, the red chili paste, & something else like green gunky stuff) were ok. The meal doesn't come with rice or salad or soup. Order separately. The spicy squid rice wasn't spicy but it was good. Kim chi rice was good too. Overall not worth our 30-45 min drive. But it was a nice, different experience!

Nia F.

Yelp
Second time here, both times have been great !! Today I got BiBimBap and it was delish. My son got bulgogi kids meal and he enjoyed it. Our server was friendly and attentive to our needs. Definitely will return, our go to Korean restaurant when in Katy.

Chloe A.

Yelp
Phenomenal. The vibes were amazing and the cheese corn was to die for. Overall just a wonderful eating experience.

Tremendous V.

Yelp
Management ruined what was otherwise a cool lunch. The waiter tells us we get free desert if we leave a review. All of us do it and then find out we share a dessert for One. Then the waiter came back saying the manager wanted a picture if the reviews. I told him "tell ur manager he's doing too much- just bring the check". So they wanted us to work for this one desert. Nah! I told him to take it back we dint want it. He kept trying to push it back to us. We left the place left the desert. Deleted our reviews and wont be going back. They are bribing people for reviews and then want them to work for their one scoop of desert.

Yelp
My wife discovered this restaurant in a local foodie group on Facebook and suggested we try it. Having been to Steak on a Stone (I think that chain closed some years ago) before, I didn't have high expectations, but figured what the heck, it won't hurt to try something new. Upon entering, the ambiance looked nice. They made good use of a small area and the smoke & smell from people cooking at the table wasn't overwhelming...initially. The service was great. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Drinks came fast and so did the food. The staff and the timeliness of the drinks and food are the reason they get 3 stars. My wife ordered the ribeye, snaked sweet potato and zucchini skewers. I ordered the marinated la galbi, cheese and corn, and the house salad. She enjoyed her selections and being able to cook the meat to her liking. The cheese and corn was not seasoned and tasted bland. The marinated la galbi was comprised of mostly fat. I don't know if it's mostly a fatty cut of short rib, but there's was more fat than meat on both cuts. The house salad was the best of my selections, although I don't know which dressing I had because I forgot to specify. This place really isn't my cup of tea. I left desiring so much more from StoneAge. Understanding they are a newer establishment, they definitely have some opportunity to grow since they don't have much competition in the area. Unless these types of restaurants are a favorite of yours, I'd stay away from here until they make some changes.

Yelp
I don't even know what to say.....I was so excited to eat at this place and left pissed-off cause I paid 80 dollars to take the meat to my dog......don't do it...it wants to have an upper vibe to match the prices but it's not good at all....

Yelp
We had such a great experience tonight. My friend and I went here for the first time and were immensely impressed. When we first got there, we were seated immediately. For a Friday night, it was not very packed. The atmosphere was very quiet, and calm. It made for a relaxing evening getaway. I have never had Korean BBQ before, and our waiter Jeff made sure to not only make us feel comfortable, but went out of his way to ensure that we had a great experience. He was not overly pushy, and let us ask a million and one questions as needed. We tried a wide variety of the food, and not one thing was a disappointment. They had already closed the Kitchen when I made a request for a to go order for my sick husband, and Jeff made sure that we were able to get our order. There is no doubt we will be back soon, and we will be bringing our friends. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Yelp
New restaurant in Katy with a twist? , not really I seen this at aka off Eldridge. Place looks nice and pretty big. The services was great. It's more of a 3.5 star The stone cooking is kool but is it really cooking ? The stone come out really heat. We had short rib. And they came out raw and we cooked it on the stone. The table isn't big enough so you would get pops of oil all over the table and yourself of your not careful. The pork belly came out cook. I'm guessing precook so your only really reheating them up as Oppose to when your doing Korean bbq your cooking it yourself. The place is really new , I'll review in two month and update review if needed. Sausage- rice cake was really good. Make sure you try And Korean soup is alway good in this weather.

Yelp
Absolutely perfect experience from the amount of food to the pricing and the outstanding service from Angel, Rafael and the other servers. This was our first experience doing Korean BBQ and it won't be our last. We were there on a Thursday with their buy one and get one free Korean Fried Chicken. Inviting, clean, just an absolutely five star experience. Thank you for making our visit special.

Yelp
Not sure about this place. Tonight our service was terrible. Will put this down to them having a bad night. Our server was all over the place just not at our table. Eventually the owner/chef came out to take our order. Food came out super weird. Kids meals first and 20 minutes later our meals. Kids wanted to leave at that point. Food was ok. Fun meal with us doing the cooking:). Like my son said. Great concept because now you cant complain because you cooked your own meal. His kinda right. Nothing was mind blowing. All our side items were cold by the time they arrived. The shrimp was iodine laced (could not eat it) which stank the stone and us out. In the end we could not leave because our server was AWOL. We eventually just stood up and walked to the register to pay. At $100 plus we think not.

Yelp
Saw the fb ad.....wow this looks amazing it's gonna be a fun experience. This place definitely brings the feeling of the stone age, where vents weren't invented yet. Thus when you grill the meat guess where the smoke goes? In your face! It woulda been 1 star but the waitress was wonderful!

Yelp
I'm usually not a big fan of Korean food but came here yesterday with a couple friends. Was I amazed! For health reasons I cannot eat spicy foods but they had some wonderful dishes that were not spicy but ohhh soooo good. Great lunch menu. Khai was our waiter and he was so knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. He was personable and friendly. I eat out a lot and he was one of the best waiters I have encountered. The restaurant was clean and cozy. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are a little hesitant about Korean food, I say.....give this place a try. I don't think you will regret it.

Yelp
Amazing spot for date night. We did the stone cooking with a steak and salmon, which were accompanied by small portions of veggies. We had fun cooking the food ourselves and just hanging out. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Food was decent, best item was the mac & cheese honestly was the best ive ever had. main gripe was that it was incredibly overpriced and most items on the menu should be reduced 20-25%

Yelp
Food was good. Real good. Staff were really nice, I asked for an extra lychee on my lychee martini (which was amazing) & he so real, he gave me 4 in a cup. Atmosphere was great. There wasn't a lot of people when we went, so it was cool seeing the staff sit down & have a meal together. The concept of the place sounded kinda weird to me, but it works. The meat was so good, the kimchi is a bit too vinegar-y, but still ain't bad, & the corn & cheese dish was amazing. The sauces that come with the meat are good too, especially the one in the middle compartment (I forgot what it's called).
