Food was very good. Our waiter Shawn was extremely attentive and service was above and beyond what we expected. They made our night turn out great. We were supposed to dine across the street, but they “lost our reservation and had no table for us.” Maybe it was for the best as we enjoyed our meals here. We will return again.

Went on a Friday night for our 4 anniversary. Server was good no complaints there (Brian). My wife got an espresso martini and it was not great. My drink was fine. Bread came out and was great, warm and delicious. We each ordered the 10oz steak and mine came out great. My wife’s steak was sour and off. They took my wife’s off the bill and gave us a dessert for the occasion. The bill still ended up around $100 (including tip). Not a great experience, but was handled well by staff after the issues.

We love Stone's Throw! The food and the service keeps getting better and better. The new menu is awesome! We especially love the calamari and burrata cheese appetizer.

Google
If you’re looking for a good drink with atmosphere this is the place. Make sure Olivia is your bartender. She is absolutely professional and quick to take care of me. Ask her for a strawberry shortcake martini. I wanted a dessert I could drink and she hit it out of the park with that.

Google
I really like the happy hour. In a significantly redid their menu with a lot of quality varieties. I had the duck wings. Good great and good sauce. The owner and manager for their to touch tables and talk to gas. I sat at the bar and had great service

Google
A great place to dine. The brussel sprout starter was great, along with the salmon main course very tasty. Our waitress Brittney was a Delight and entertaining.

Google
Crazy to even share this but here I go. 4 of us went last night, server- wish I remembered his name. Really tall white guy, he was awesome and on point. Let's get to the food. The old menu was so much better. Steaks, no flavor. Needed Montreal at least. Mashed potatoes had no garlic, bland. When I ordered Brussel sprouts, that's what I expected. Not walnuts and cranberries on top of my potatoes with em. Chimichurri sauce was basically oil, bland. 3 others at the table, same thoughts. The ambiance, the service, great. The food.... very expensive dinner for 4 ppl who didn't like it.

Google
We were visiting from Indiana and stopped here after eating at the sister restaurant next door. Everything was excellent! We had the tomahawk pork chop and the salmon and both were exquisite. We asked about a drink we had heard about from a previous menu and our waiter was happy to have it prepared. Brandon made our whole meal a delight. Service was quick and he kept us laughing and well taken care of. Wonderful night and would definitely visit again!

Yelp
from start to finish what an absolutely awesome experience if you're Longing for ambience, elegance, superior food, and service look no further Stones Throw is the place for you. Upon entering, One can easily be transported to a romantic Mediterranean restaurant. With the soft sounds of a concerto violinist, and the warm smiles of the servers to the well lit regal bar.. Only to be exceeded by the Thoughtfully plated presentation of the finest Menu in Cape Coral personally, this evening I had the most exquisitely prepared salmon ending the evening with the most decadent of chocolate cakes to go with my chocolate espresso martini

Yelp
Thea greeted us, seated us quickly, and let us know that it was "Date Night", with a special menu. Basically $100 for a very nice wine (Daou, a Paso Robles Cabernet), an appetizer each (Tomato, Mozzarella Burrata, and Pesto on bruschetta), a shared LARGE 20 oz. Prime Rib with Boursin Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus, and a shared oBrownie ala mode with Caramel for dessert. It was GOOD, all of it. The starter was perfect, the Asparagus was al dente (NOT soggy), the Boursin Potatoes were a tad over-salted, but perfectly complemented the very LARGE Prime Rib with both au jus and creamy horseradish sauce. The dessert was beautifully presented and, frankly, DECADENT. Brandon was an excellent server and Dave, the manager stopped by once to welcome us, and a second time to ensure everything was to our liking... Thank you! WE'LL BE BACK!!

Yelp
Cool vibe and friendly staff, but the steaks missed the mark Made a reservation at Stones Throw through the app, looking forward to a nice steak dinner with friends. The space is attractive and clean, with a very cool bar area. When we arrived, no one was at the hostess stand, but a server stepped in and seated us at a high-top near the bar. Our server was terrific--warm, friendly, and full of smiles. We started with cocktails; my old-fashioned was heavy on the bitters but still drinkable. The calamari appetizer was fantastic, though the sweet red sauce it comes with wasn't my favorite--I would have much preferred cocktail sauce. For entrees, we each ordered steaks. My New York strip, with garlic mashed potatoes and broccolini, was perfectly cooked and seasoned but far too tough to be a prime cut. My friend's ribeye was thin, overcooked, and just as tough. For steaks priced and represented as prime, these did not measure up. On the bright side, the live music on a Wednesday night was a nice touch, and the overall vibe was enjoyable. Still, I can't see myself returning when the main event--the steak--was such a disappointment.

Yelp
Finally made it to stones throw! I wanted to try the sizzle dining menu so I gathered my best mates and we headed out on the town. I started off with some drinks like an espresso martini and the watermelon sugar high. Both were really good! For sizzle they offered a 39$ 3 course menu. To start I had the Brussels sprouts. I don't typically eat them or would order them so I was excited to give it a try! They were actually really good, super crisp on the outside and great flavor. May enter with the filet tips and pesto tortellini. It was so good! Pesto sauce is my favorite so I will never pass it up. Highly recommend!! For dessert I had the salted caramel cheesecake. Which was good but very heavy on the salted caramel so I didn't finish it. Overall I really enjoyed our night there and it's the perfect vibe for a girls night out or dinner with the friends.

Yelp
Love everything about Stones Throw! The food, the atmosphere and the staff! Wonderful experience every time!

Yelp
Very nice place and great food. The fish dip, elk rack and scallops were all outstanding

Roberet J.

Yelp
I usually sit at the bar and the service that I receive from Olivia is professional and top notch. The food is excellent and and I have never waited long for anything. I love the fillet mignon which is consistently tender and always cooked the way I like it. Their wide range of appetizers and deserts are also why I keep coming back. The atmosphere at the bar is excellent and the music that has been there adds to a great evening.

AquaDog J.

Yelp
The food, service, and atmosphere couldn't be better. It's the kind of place that makes any date feel special.

Yelp
Loved loved loved. GREAT service. GREAT food. We did happy hour and ordered four plates figuring they would be like 1-2 pieces on it. The Plates were HUGE. I got the tuna which was fantastic. My fiancé got the ribs and Brussel sprouts and couldn't finish either. Drinks were very good. My one ask would be better red wine. Their high end by the glass was Justin. I would love a really good Cab in the mix.

Yelp
First time dining. For entree went with the 8oz Wagyu Sirloin and of course medium rare. Comes with Yuca fries and Chef veggies, tonight Broccolini....very tasty. My steak was seasoned nice, cooked exactly as I ordered. Dined sitting at bar, server Rebecca was excellent. The inside has a nice ambiance, a lot of background noise but can deal with.

Yelp
A Fresh Taste of Summer at Stones Throw Cape Coral We've dined at Stones Throw more times than we can count--but last night? That was something special. As regulars, we were already fans of the welcoming vibe, the refined-yet-relaxed atmosphere, and the top-tier service. But the new menu? Absolutely blew us away. Thoughtful, seasonal, and seriously delicious. We started with the Summer Salad, and it was love at first bite. Grilled peaches and roasted beets played beautifully off the red onion and creamy herbed chèvre, all brought together with a light kiss of white balsamic. Every forkful was a celebration of flavor and texture--bright, earthy, crunchy, sweet. It tasted like sunshine on a plate. Then came the showstopper: the Elk Rack. Perfectly frenched and cooked to a tender, juicy perfection, served with rustic smashed potatoes and chili garlic green beans that had just the right kick. And that berry sage gastrique? A little sweet, a little savory, a whole lot of wow. Elegant without being pretentious. Of course, we have to shout out Brandon, who always makes our night feel extra special. His service is warm, intuitive, and spot-on--he knows how to make you feel like a VIP without ever being over the top. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, Stones Throw continues to impress with its thoughtful cuisine, stellar team, and relaxed, modern vibe. And with this new menu? We're already planning our next visit.

Yelp
Everything! Food, service, music, atmosphere!!! The menu choices and specials are excellent, and the drinks very good and different! Always new items as well!

Yelp
Lovely outdoor seating for a party of six. Our server was up to the task! Don't think I didn't see him RUNNING to keep up! He was bustin' a move to make several parties happy at once. And we were. It was great food. The onion soup was too salty to eat. But the salmon was cooked to perfection. The salad was very tasty. Others had similar choices and we all enjoyed our meals. No dessert. A few had drinks and they were good.

Yelp
2/2024 We loved this place! Food - All of it was delicious! Service - Really nice, super friendly and not bothered. Ambiance - We went in on a Monday night & you would have thought it was Friday night.. it was crowded, but in a good way. The vibe was great!

Yelp
Ate there on 6/22. We sat at the bar. There was an old guy at the bar drinking pink wine who was wasted. He shouldn't have been served. He was swearing SO LOUDLY. We cashed out and told the bartender why. He kept saying he was a manager at a restaurant in town. God help that place.

Yelp
We went here for our 39th anniversary. Everything was perfect. Brandan was our server and I highly recommend him. He was very attentive , took care of all our needs, made great menu recommendations and was just awesome. The chef prepared the most sensuous dining experience. We will definitely continue to go back. Highly recommend.

Bob B.

Yelp
I would say work on your customer service. The staff had grouchy faces and seemed like they don't like customers. We had a group of people come in for drinks and appetizers. You can't sit at high tops for this. Only at the bar or outside ... with Cape Coral Parkway traffic buzzing by. Second time there and the drinks and food were well done. Nice interior. Most likely I won't be back. The worst customer is the one who never returns.

Lynn G.

Yelp
Amazing service, drinks, food, and ambiance!!! The new menu has a lot of variety and there are a lot of GF options. It's our favorite place in Cape Coral.

Yelp
Made our favorites list in one visit and we've been there twice now in the last ten days. Our first visit was for a date night. Reservations are recommended and we arrived for ours at 6:30 on a Friday evening in May. The vibe is upscale contemporary and offers inside and outside seating. The interior has half booths, stand alone tables and a long bar. It's clearly become a place for celebrations and there were two different parties near our table. Even with some larger parties seated, the volume and atmosphere were inviting and comfortable. Noise volume wasn't an issue and I didn't even consider it at the time because we were able to converse easily without giving it a thought. Service was excellent. Brian explained the menus and made first-rate suggestions. He was there to offer more drinks and check in at the right times and was efficient and personable. We tried two different drinks: Endless Summer and This One's For Olive. I enjoyed both and would be happy drinking either. However, This One's For Olive, came out a bit as the top favorite. Maybe it's the handmade blueberry infused vodka they use? Not sure, but this drink is both pretty and delicious. They present it unmixed and it makes a striking photo. After a couple pictures and a twirl or two of the straw, it's simply Y-U-M! Bread is complimentary for the table and comes out with REAL butter. Both made a favorable impression. All the appetizers looked great. We finally settled on two and knew in advance we were over-ordering. The Goat Cheese Pillows were just as amazing as I imagined. Crispy crunchy outside and delicious warm goat cheese inside. A couple of these make a big impact, so this is definitely something I would want to share with others as an appetizer. The Pork Potstickers were one of best versions we've ever been served. Perfectly finished with the ultimate inside and outside texture and tasty pork filling. The accompanying dipping sauce also hit all the right notes. I ordered the House Salad. It was delicious but a bit overwhelming when it appeared. It could easily be a meal by itself. It comes with artisan greens, heirloom tomato, cucumber, red onion, hard-boiled egg, chickpea, avocado and is dressed with a shallot vinaigrette. I ate the portion I could but surrendered the rest, knowing I wanted to enjoy my entrée. Mr. T had the Soup Du Jour, which that day was Roasted Red Pepper & Crab. He really enjoyed it and let me try some. It was delicious and smooth. I could taste individual flavors and they were a terrific combination. I made a mental note to order this if I see it offered again. The daily specials provided Mr. T's entrée: a 12 oz. NY Strip he ordered medium. It came out perfect and was nicely seasoned. The Pan Seared Sea Scallops were my choice and I enjoyed every bite. Everything brought to us had us talking about coming back, so it wasn't a big surprise to find ourselves return the next weekend, this time on Saturday afternoon at 3:30. We'd been out running errands and decided to take a chance and walk in without a reservation. Happily, it worked out and we enjoyed their 3:00 to 6:00 PM Happy Hour. Initially, we intended to simply sample the handhelds. However, I couldn't resist another "This One's For Olive" and Mr. T convinced me to share some more Pork Potstickers. I thought we were over-ordering again, for sure. We were delighted to learn the Happy Hour Appetizers are slightly smaller portions. (They're also a really great price.) General Tso's Chicken Sandwich came with Crispy Fried Chicken Cutlets, Napa Slaw, General Tso's Sauce on a Brioche Bun with a side of Samurai Fries. Mr. T said it tasted really good but there was too much chicken, even for him. It has two cutlets but the two he got were really thick. He took an entire one off the sandwich. The only slight issue with this sandwich was the amount of sauce; it was a lot and made eating it messy and the bun got a bit soggy too. Great taste but he said he might ask for sauce on the side if he ordered it again. The Steak Sandwich had skirt steak, fontina cheese, and typically comes with green goddess dressing on the arugula on a toasted French roll and comes with a side of Steak Fries. I ordered it medium and asked them to skip the dressing and go light on the arugula. This sandwich was perfection. Flavorful steak and melty cheese on a lightly toasted roll with great chew. I shared a few bites with Mr. T and he wants this next time. The food and drinks were top tier amazing. I'm not a big drinker but I'd seriously go back for drinks. I'd also go back for appetizers, entrees and handhelds. We are looking forward to many more delicious meals. Go there. Don't be like me. They are celebrating their first-year anniversary on Friday, May 31st, and we didn't get there for the first time until about ten days ago. Highly Recommended

Yelp
Fresh, creative food and drink offered in a upbeat environment Our server, Brittany was newer to the restaurant but knew the menu well and was helpful with making selections She provided prompt and pleasant service The service staff works as a team and the manager is very present. Although we are relatively new to the area this restaurant is already a favorite

Yelp
Delicious food, impeccable service, comfortable indoors and out. Love this place. Land or sea, everything on the menu has been memorable.

Yelp
my father-in-law came to visit this weekend and we had to take him to @stonesthrowcc for an awesome steak dinner. Stones Throw is nestled in downtown Cape Coral and has upscale vibes! We had high hopes it would live up to the first experience we had from a few weeks back and they DELIVERED. the quality of the steaks here is outstanding, we had a fantastic meal. I chose the Waygu Filet Mignon, absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly (medium rare), served with Parmesan risotto and fresh veggies + béarnaise sauce We shared the crab cakes as an appetizer (fluffy & flavorful) and scallops - again, exquisitely cooked and so delicous. our server, Brian, was awesome. Knowledgeable, attentive, funny, and paced the meal well. Big shout out for good service! go try Stone's Throw in Cape Coral!

Yelp
Based on the reviews, we decided to give Stones Throw a try for our team dinner. We visited on a mid-week night and the first thing we noted is that the location is a bit hard to find. The front windows are tinted and there's no signage other than the restaurant's logo. Once inside, we found ourselves in a spacious dining room and bar area that have a very upscale yet low key vibe. We were promptly seated and served drinks while selecting our dinner entrees. Looking through the menu, it focuses on steakhouse selections with some very nice alternatives to beef such as chicken, pork chops, and seafood. Our selections were all very good without any noticeable lapses in cooking or service. Everything came out hot and fresh. I think this is where Stones Throw stands out: each item, whether soup, salad, or steak, is artfully presented and carefully crafted. Everything on the plate belongs in each dish and nothing else. The sous-vide chicken and the seared scallops were the team favorites, and the Wagyu burger was perfectly cooked to highlight the rich fat flavors. Table service was competent. This is a good choice for a business meal or a casual date night. Recommended.

Cullen R.

Yelp
The food is amazing and so is the ambience. The service they provide is excellent. I would definitely recommend for a night out.

Yelp
First a note to manager Dave, Brian is the best waiter we've ever had, pay him more (lol). Seriously, my wife and I dined here for our 35th anniversary. Service was exceptional. One of the best dirty martinis I've ever had. The brussell sprouts were excellent as an appetizer. My wife had the 8oz filet and I had the beef bourguinon. Steak was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth, the bourguinon was rich and flavorful. We've lived here for over 25 yearsand had several restaurants as favorites (Misto, Arianis, Marker 92, Prime 239) Stones Throw has leapt to the top of our list. Try it once and you'll be back again and again.

Yelp
This is the second time we have rented from cape coral boat rental in the last few years, owners are great and boats are well equipped with everything you would need for a fun day on the water. Also reasonably priced rentals for the area!

Yelp
Christmas eve dinner , just my wife and I. Food was very tasty, service was impeccable. Prices are competitive.

Yelp
Pork Chop Perfection at Good Food Verdict: If you're a fan of pork, Stones Throw serves one of the best chops in town. Everything was delicious!

Yelp
We had a great dinner with friends here while visiting Cape Coral. The service was excellent as was the food and drink. If you're an Old Fashioned fan, grab one (or three) here. You won't be disappointed. Great stop. We'll be back.

Yelp
Did we hit a bad day? Is there a change in chefs? The experience of the food did not match the reviews....Place is trendy, new and fresh. Prices did not match taste and "cuisine" level. Popcorn shrimp were just ok and a bit bready. Wife's wine came but my drink took almost another 10 minutes. Fish was borderline dry, sides were good. "Asian" ribs were overcooked and the sauce was so overpowering....seasoned fries were ok. Waitress was friendly and nice but think she realized we were not really happy, as we lost her until drink showed up late. Never really asked "how is your food" either....If it had been a normal day, would have spoken up but since celebrating something did not want to spoil mood further. Not sure why desserts from next door not available!? Would not go back.

Yelp
The vibe is casual and upscale, with a nice menu and a bar with great cocktail options and plenty of beer choices. Normally open only for dinner, I was there for lunch when they opened especially for an art festival that was taking place in front of the restaurant. The menu was limited for this special occasion. I sat at the bar and ordered a local beer and a chicken birria quesadilla. The quesadilla was good, but nothing extraordinary. I look forward to returning during regular evening hours for a cocktail and a steak, which seem to be the specialty, in this great space right on Cape Coral Parkway.

Ell C.

Yelp
Outstanding food, service and a great atmosphere. Never had a bad experience at Stones Throw.

Yelp
This place is definitely one to check out in downtown CC - it's a modern mid/fine style American restaurant with excellent food and has a large patio for those who prefer to enjoy the weather. It's a great option for date night or a celebration with friends, the ambience is definitely gearing more towards the adult/contemporary crowd. I've gone there for business dinners as well as date night and always had a good experience.

Conni B.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise! It's so rare in SWFL to find truly GOOD FOOD. We are at the bar and had great service by Todd! The Wedge salad and French Onion soup were excellent. Cocktail selection was excellent as was the General Tso's chicken sandwich and spicy fries . The chef clearly gets food! I will definitely be back
google avatar

Erica G.

Yelp
Went for date night last night. Payton recommended good dinner options. She provided great service Beef rib & chicken breasts with vegetables was great! However will be back to try the créeme brûlée they were fresh out
google avatar

Timothy C.

Yelp
Service, the bartender was very educated on their cocktails and his craft. I being a bartender long ago and very well versed in gin I was impressed with his recommendation of the Stone Throw 75 very well balanced . The Brussels sprout were much better than expected the sweetness and acidity were very well balanced with some unexpected twists. The short rib was good but had just a touch of burnt but the sugars in the marinade which would make that difficult to avoid. The parmigiana risotto was very nice. The cream brûlée was a great finish. The waiter "The Todd" was fantastic affable and very attentive. The wine list while limited is very solid and will meet most palates demands!

Yelp
Newer location In downtown cape coral . Come here without a rush . It's not that busy and we have waited a while for food . If you're hungry , then stop and get a snack before . lol just kidding . But, no really at least 35-40 mins waiting

Violeta W.

Yelp
There's not enough buzz about this place! Great location, great atmosphere, great decor, the drinks are always on point, and their menu is incredible! We normally sit at the bar and get great service from the bartenders, but last night we sat at a table in Jefferson was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and never once left us waiting! 10/10 every single time! 12/10 on the night they have live music

Lorri D.

Yelp
Excellent food & service!!! Been here 5-6 times in the last few months. Tried many different entrees, all delicious. Service is always good, but the best server was Matt. This place never disappoints.
google avatar

Mel B.

Yelp
The service and drinks were great! I ordered the salmon and it tasted like a pound of iodized salt! The vibe was cute but they need to step up their game with quality food

Ria T.

Yelp
Excellent Ambiance, Delicious Food, Great Service. Our server Brian was Extremely good. Very Attentive.
google avatar

Mike W.

Yelp
Over rated just ok over priced for what you get service was very slow and waiter was annoying

Cheryl C.

Yelp
I was very excited to try this new restaurant... we went there at happy hour and were the only people in the restaurant. I asked if we could sit at a high top near the bar. I was told sitting at the bar was the only way we could get happy hour deals. THERE WAS NO ONE IN THE PLACE!!!!! I'm a small business owner and I would never have said no to anyone especially new customers... Which by the way I did mention it was our FIRST TIME IN THEIR RESTAURANT!!! Never Again! Our bartender was wonderful.
google avatar

Colleen V.

Yelp
Did the happy hour which was good for the drinks but had the ribs, but were over cooked & dry. Not worth the happy hour price. French onion soup was decent as were the pot stickers. Salmon dinner was great .
google avatar

Mark W.

Yelp
The short ribs were incredible! Get them with the potatoes. So tender and flavourful. Nice vibe too!
google avatar

Nicole M.

Yelp
There's nothing bad to say about Stone's Throw. The food, service and spirits were enjoyable. The steak was cooked to perfection!! The Spicy Señorita was the perfect combo of spicy, tangy and sweet. The restaurant has that date night vibe but it seems like a great place for large groups. Definitely worth checking out!

Jonah H.

Yelp
Food was incredible and came out of the kitchen very quickly. We ordered multiple appetizers and they were all quite good. One member of our group thought the jerk chicken was underseasoned and they replaced the entree with a different entree of their choice for free. Incredible customer service and everyone else loved their meals.

Darcy D.

Yelp
I loved this new restaurant last winter. Came back to the Cape this year and it was the first restaurant we went to for their scallops--we've been told that they're the best in Florida and, last year, I would agree. Boy was I disappointed. See pictures below. I showed our waiter the picture from last year. He said, " Yes, I remember them looking like that. Come back Sunday and there will be a new chef." I was never offered a different entree, compensation in price (the price had increased from last year but not my main issue), or a free dessert. I will not be going back to this restaurant and will tell my snow bird friends about this experience.
google avatar

Natasha M.

Yelp
This place does not disappoint in service, ambiance. We stopped in with our nephew and his girlfriend and just had cocktails. My husband fell in love with the cocktails. The service at the bar was outstanding. We did not eat as we had gone somewhere else for dinner. But would definitely go back and try the food. The nachos looked delicious
