I absolutely love Strange Beast. Hands down one of the most unforgettable spots in Miami! This local pizza brewpub is truly in a league of its own, offering some of the most unique and imaginative pizza flavors in the entire city. Every slice feels like a creative masterpiece, bursting with bold flavor and surprising ingredients you won’t find anywhere else. The service is top-notch. Friendly and attentive. You can tell the staff really cares about creating a great experience from the moment you walk in to the last bite of your meal. The atmosphere is electric, thanks in no small part to the awesome live performances from Miami’s local talent. Whether it’s a laid-back acoustic set, a high-energy band, or a night of laughter with local comedians, the entertainment here adds an extra layer of magic to the night. What really sets Strange Beast apart, though, is the incredible decor. The walls are lined with art and memorabilia paying homage to classic Japanese kaiju monster movies from vintage Godzilla posters to highly detailed King Kong murals and wonderfully strange little details tucked into every corner. It’s a love letter of 1950s monster movies. If you’re looking to enjoy the Miami weather, don’t miss the beautiful outdoor seating area in the back. It’s the perfect chill zone to relax with a cold brew and a hot pie. Speaking of pies… I was lucky enough to try a special limited-time pizza called the “Arturito”, celebrating both May the Fourth and Cinco de Mayo. It had Marinated steak, peppers, onions, melted cheese, fresh cilantro, a bold salsa roja, all topped with a zesty lime slice. It was the perfect fusion of flavors and a true tribute to creativity and flavor. The only downside? Parking can be a bit limited, so plan ahead or consider rideshare if you're visiting during peak hours. But honestly, once you're inside, that minor inconvenience melts away. Strange Beast isn’t just a pizza place—it’s a full experience. If you’re in Miami and love amazing food, local vibes, and kaiju monsters, this place is an absolute must.

My partner and I had a great date with our oldest boy, Hiccup. Clean. Amazing food and the beers were great and cold. We will be coming back!

Awesome place! Very cozy and food is amazing specially the oven pizza. Overall love this place. And every day is a special event for drinks and social events, such as Karaoke, trivia night, Bingo, Etc.. For me it’s a must go for Kendall.

Placed a pickup order on a Thursday night and found the place super crowded and filled with loud music. It was Karaoke night, which looked like a blast. But it was so loud I literally couldn’t order on site. After driving home, we were super disappointed at the realization that our pizzas were burnt. Otherwise, great concept, ingredients and overall ambience. Pizzas were tasty but cardboard-sy.

When in West Kendall, a visit to Strange Beast is an absolute must! This was my wife’s and my go-to spot for entertainment, drinks, and delectable food. However, since moving to Davie, we rarely have the chance to come by. Recently, while running errands, I noticed the shop was open at noon, so I seized the opportunity. We ordered our usual Zilla Pie and Classic Pizza, both of which were cooked to perfection, as always. We decided to try a new pie as well—pesto with hot honey and pepperoni. To my surprise, it might have even surpassed my love for the Zilla Pie! If you’re in the area and haven’t visited Strange Beast yet, it’s a community staple that you shouldn’t miss. Be sure to visit on karaoke night; it’s always a fun time with friendly people and good vibes. Here’s hoping for a Broward County location soon. Cheers!

I absolutely adore Strange Beast. I've been a handful of times and have been satisfied each and every time. The pizza is very good, well made and worth the money. My only complaints for SB would be that the music can be quite loud if you're sensitive to that and that they sometimes run out of ingredients. But, SB is overall my favorite pizza spot in the area!

I LOVE STRANGE BEAST!!! I discovered this place right before the pandemic so it was my go to during that time. The service is always amazing and while the staff changes from time to time they never disappoint. I love the cauliflower bites even though they changed the recipe. The margherita pizza is delicious as well as the lomo saltado pizza. They have various events during the week, my favorites being bingo night and karaoke night. They're open late which is awesome. This is a great spot for date night, casual outing with friends, or a solo date. My favorite day to go is Saturday for lunch because they're not as busy

Run don't walk to strange beast. It's worth the drive if you're not in West Kendall. Luckily we are get close. But this is a gem . Best pizza in West Kendall hands down. They have great beer, slushies, pizza and staff. The staff is incredible. You're not just a customer. They are the best. This place is fun every night of the week. It's family friendly and becomes livelier at the night goes. They have live music some nights, trivia others, karaoke too! Do not miss out. AND if you uber or Lyft you get a discount. Parking is sparse but don't let that stop you from trying it.

StrangeBeast has the perfect vibe--edgy, fun, and unique! The ambiance is cool and alternative, and the music adds so much energy. Karaoke Thursdays are a blast, and they're always hosting fun events throughout the week. The beer is ice-cold and fresh, and the food and ice cream are a treat. I can't stay away from this place!

Still one of the best pizzas I've had in Miami! The Willy dropped the sauce and the chopped Pepperoni pizza is my go to. I always add a ton of veggies to the pizza and some chili flakes to give it a kick. The service is really good. Everyone is so nice and playful. It's also a bar. There's rock music always playing and everyone seems to be enjoying their pizza and beer. Wednesdays are trivia nights. Some nights are bingo nights, some nights have live music, etc. Every night at Strange Beast is enjoyable, whether you're participating in the games, having some pizza or you're just there for the drinks. If you're in the area, or even if you aren't! I definitely recommend Strange Beast

Strange Beast is a great brewery in the Kendall area! Came here after a tournament at the nearby Deta Pickleball Club to celebrate with some pizza and brews. Parking here is a bit tough if it gets packed but since we came right when it opened at noon, it wasn't so bad. It shares a parking lot next to the gas station with a few other businesses including a mechanic shop and Sweet Melody. There is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Since the weather was nice, we opted to sit outside on the picnic tables. We ordered inside and were able to try some of the beers on tap. I ended up getting the hazy IPA because I love IPAs. If you like some of their sours or lagers that come in the cans, it might be a better deal to buy a 4-pack. The guy who was helping us while we were ordering was super helpful and chill. When we ended up ordering more beer with a 4-pack, he offered to keep some of the cans in the cooler so that the beer can stay cold for when we're ready to drink them. We also ordered some pizzas. They were out of a lot of meats but we still chose some good ones including the Shroom 2.0 and the Doug's White and added meatball crumble and the spicy chorizo. My favorite between the two was definitely the Shroom 2.0! You can see them making the pizzas inside and when their ready, your buzzer goes off so you can pick it up! Overall, a great "Brewpub" in the area!

I love this place! They have a vast variety of beers that are always cold and numerous types of pizza that are all tasty. Who would've thought that in the Kendall suburbia area they'd be such a great brewery.

My first time here and we decided on Karaoke Thursdays which starts at 9pm and goes until 2 am. Food-- we loved the food options! My cousin does not eat meat so we ordered the roasted cauliflower and the papas Santeras both were so good and filling! For pizzas we split the Shroom and Margherita and both were very nicely done. Drinks-- I ordered the Apple cider and that was my drink of choice for the entire night. My friends ordered the Morning Glory, Chet, P.Swayze and loved them. Karaoke -- the Dj was incredible and really killed every song he performed. The talent in the place was insane. I spent most of the night being awestruck but I loved it and would be back. It gets very packed and there is definitely a group of Karaoke regulars but a fun gem in Kendall. The service was great and the staff members also performed a few songs and killed it in between taking drink orders.

Brewery + amazing pizza + early 2000's hiphop & R&B = 5 stars. Great place in my book with a super chill atmosphere. Loved it!

Such a dope little hole in the wall right in the 'hood! Pizza was amazing, fast service, beer was cold. I went in a Friday ordered take out and enjoyed a beer as I waited. On Fridays they have live music and the singer was amazing- as was the guitarist that was there that night. Cute little outdoor area , inside and outside are pet friendly. Located right behind the shell in the little strip shopping center - used to be a kwik stop before.

Popped by Strange Beast for a chill night and wasn't disappointed. Their pizza, especially the Swamp Thing with its perfect pesto drizzle, was a hit. Brews? Stellar, as usual, but the "SHeeeeesh" sour ale was a standout - peach, vanilla, and cinnamon making it an unforgettable sour. This spot's part of the Lincoln's Beard Brewing fam, so you know they're all about good vibes and great tastes. Service, awesome as to be expected from anything Lincoln's Beard touches. Definitely a go-to for anyone in Miami looking for that perfect combo of beer and pizza - a nice little hidden gem in an otherwise sleepy suburban area.

One of my favorite spots in West Kendall. Pizza's delicious, good beers (they also have wine), the employees are friendly and attentive. Really cool vibes.

I loved this place!! It was my first time here and the food was great. It was buy one get one free tap beer on Monday and they have a great variety of beers. The guy taking my order was great and let me taste a few different beers before choosing one. The place was pretty clean and had a great vibe to it. Will definitely come back!

I came here with a friend last Ssturday, and this place has everything you could ever want in a local pizzeria- outstanding customer service and creative pizza topping selections. You order a nearby cash register and have the option of doing a half and half pizza topping pizza. The toppings are creative. Highly recommend!

Why did it take me so long to find this place? What a great time we had this past weekend, great pizza, good variety of beer and we had the perfect weather for the patio seating. I just found my new favorite pizza place!

There's a good reason I've got 25 check-ins and counting... Strange Beast is the quintessential neighborhood brew pub. It's the kind of place where the staff gets to know you by name, greets you with a friendly smile, and knows your usual order as you walk through the door. Eddie can regularly be found behind the bar and is definitely one of our favorite beer slingers. My go-to of their beers on tap is Avenge Me, a malty brown ale. I'm also fond of their hazy IPA, Lawyers Don't Surf. The meatballs are damn good, as is the pizza. I'd suggest the Baby Godzilla, w/ shrooms added. As an added bonus, Monday and Tuesday are BOGO! And, you can also count on fun trivia nights, dj's, and other special events.

AMAZING quality and AMAZING flavor. It's a great place to grab a beer and enjoy good pizza when you're in the mood for something flavorful as this. We also got to try the "Tight End" pizza. I will definitely be getting that one next time. Big thumbs up from both me and my boyfriend. The place is nothing fancy but it's worth it.

This place is special, it's a brewery/pizza spot in the middle of a suburb, I wouldn't have it any other way. Their house beer is excellent! Fresh, crisp, and always potent. Their pizza is of quality, flavorful and worth the experience. Something like this in a location like a beach side would make a killing, and cost twice as much, because they are just that good. It's definitely making their mark in the neighborhood as the local watering hole as well as family dinner pizza night spot, as they are big on their clients and making sure they are happy, either through the food, drink, or events like karaoke or trivia night. This place is here to stay, and I hope others find it like I was lucky enough to.

Second time coming here and we loved it, first time was ok so we came back and tried it and this time was it. Service was amazing, food was good and so was beet. Our fav pizza was pepperoni but all the other ones we tried were good as well

Had a hankering for pizza on a Sunday night and Strange Beast came highly recommended. Donning our coziest Sunday sweats, my boyfriend and I ventured for some cheezy goodness. We arrived around 8:00p greeted by our friendly neighborhood Miami chickens in the parking lot, shared by an auto shop, ice cream parlor, and barber shop. We got our order in for the mushroom pizza and roasted cauliflower, wait times were not too bad! Inside, low lighting with kaiju monsters illustrated on the walls, bathrooms have an eerie ambience with red lighting. The pizza was 10/10!! The mushrooms were mushrooming, the cauliflower woulda maybe preferred it to be a bit more cooked but the seasoning on it with the seeds and that sauce they drizzle on it is fireeeee! Definitely recommend, will be returning :)

Love this place everything is so good and family friendly! I just wish they would get a fence outside :) for my little ones to run around more and to protect from the street traffic

Great place! Been here multiple times, and somehow always wind up buying one of there t-shirts (several already with Godzilla or Gamera on them)! Excellent beer selection, and the pizzas are prepared perfectly! Crisp crust, well seasoned... perfect. Try the garlic bread (prepared similarly to a pizza) - delish!!! This has become my go-to for a pizza and beers with my adult sons... and I highly recommend them to just about anyone!!!

Strange beast is always a great spot for a quick and delicious pizza. The brick oven they use really puts them on the map. Great place to grab a cold one a bite to eat and just vibe.

I love this place. I've been here a few times and their pizza is delicious. If you love thin crusted pizza then go to this little spot. The beer is great too! This place has karaoke on Thursday nights and they do trivia as well. The owners of this place I believe are from west Kendall and picked the perfect spot for this restaurant. The service is fast. You always go up to the register and order what you want first. This is very hip and casual dining. Great spot to enjoy with friends.

If you love Pizza, you need try this place. From pizza, bear (they have their own brewery), and yummy appetizers. Staff is very nice and welcoming. And wow the decor is very creative. They have karaoke nights and live bands performing in certain nights. These ppl are also part of Lincoln Brewery on Bird and Maxwell Bros too down US1. Guys go check them out and Yes it's kid friendly too.

So glad I checked in this time, because I am now a regular at Strange Beast Hehehehe. The beer was delicious, I got the Getting Hazy and it came in these cute little glass, it was strong but very delicious. He got the morning glory. And we ordered a pepperoni pizza. The pizza came out relatively quick. We probably only waited about 5 to 10 mins which isn't long at all. They have Parmesan and red pepper flakes on the side for you to take with you to your table. Which is always a plus for me. It was a great experience. I love the brewery vibe. I will be coming back soon. :) OH AND it was Thursday which is Karaoke night!!!! Also after 9pm it's a 21+ environment.

Decent pizza at a decent price. A little "loose" with when they close and stop serving food -- a total epidemic as of recent. Just put the correct hours -- it's really not that difficult. Or maybe management should just train the staff better. Not a good look to turn people away when you still have plenty of time in your listed "food" hours.

Thursday kareoke nights are the best. Try the APPLE PIE CIDER The pizza pairs well with the beer selection. I miss the desert pizza !! Overall great place to hang and have quality food and drinks- Nothing else like it in west kendall

How in the world do you not have the sauce for the best pizza on the menu on a Sunday. And not able to have it for an entire week.

Hey I love the food and the beer. What I don't like is the turnover of people who work here. What is going on? I live down the block, and I appreciate seeing a familiar face, instead of seeing someone different attending the bar every month. Is it an awful place to work? Do the owners disrespect their employees? Do they let people go, just to save a couple of bucks? Pizza and Beer is only part of it. The employees who serve the pizza and beer contribute to the vibe. Very disappointing!

Pizza and beer crafted with LOVE. On a mission to try every pie on the menu but so far Tight End is my go-to. We always order the meatballs as an appetizer - they're incredible. The staff is always so welcoming and happy to make recommendations. It's the perfect place to hang out with a group of friends or with my boyfriend whether we're enjoying the live music or participating in trivia night, it's comfortable, welcoming and always a good time.

Was in the vicinity Sunday just before Halloween trick or Treater so ordered pickup on their website and wow was it ready super fast!  The guy inside with chill clothes and relaxed vibe handed my food and crowlers.  Good stuff. Food: Placed an order of 3 big meatballs and an order of their house made bread with dipping sauce.  Meatballs were nicely dense but felt a bit heavy handed on the seasoning.  Is it because its being eaten while drinking beer which quickly washes the palate? The meatsauce was just right, it was good. Onto the bread which was interesting both because it was in pieces and of varying thickness from crispy thin to a thin chewy size not like any bread one would expect.  It reminds me of leftover dough that would have been used to make a pizza, just torn into pieces and cooked. I liked the texture but ya gotta dip them in the garlic lime aioli.   OMG that sauce was rich!  Definitly garlicky and that rich aioli gets to be too much after awhile.  Either share or save the rest for the next day.  It was interesting flavor that grew on me the more I ate it.  Might have it again although would like to try the cheese bread next time! Drink: Bought 3 crowlers of Lawyers donr surf juicy hazy ipa 6.9% to share with the house.  It's been a very long time I have been here so forgot how this beer tastes but it is a go to everytime I had visited before!  A reliable good beer everytime.  I will have to start trying their others if anything is new out next time!

Wow. This place is awesome! What make this place really stand out is their crew! Great people, willing to explain any questions and let you try samples of their drinks before buying. All pizza made fresh; beers are unique they have their own brew of beer. Pizza came out fast, it's a bit small but tasted great. Pizza is not for everyone (heads up) my wife didn't think it was great but average. Overall great atmosphere, great drinks and most importantly great service!

Great place to come and grab a pizza and beer. It was my first time coming here and I truly had an amazing time. I went on a Thursday and to my surprise found out it was karaoke night and it was LIT. I sat outside with my friends. They had several picnic tables outside. I had the Morning Glory Blonde Ale to drink and found it to be quite refreshing. To eat, I ordered the Doug's White pizza which brings Garlic Purée, Shallot, Ricotta, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Parsley. I found it to be quite delicious. I was able to share my pizza with a friend and get full. Karaoke was super fun! The beer was great! The pizza was yummy! The only bad thing was the parking situation. They get so busy and have very limited parking spots. I had to park in the grocery store a block down.

Cool place! Enjoyed two delicious beers and the amazing outdoor area. Looking forward to coming back with friends.

Attention all Yelpers we may have the best brewery in Kendall located on aisle 72! Wow what a spot, talk about great music, cool people and awesome drinks! Their beer selection is great for a brewery and the ambiance and vibes checked off all the boxes. Now let's get to the best part... Mamma Mia they have pizza! Pizza is freaking amazing, I got both the cheese and pepperoni immediately feel in love! I also sampled the meatballs which were delicious! The best part for me was the end when I got my bill after a bunch of beers and my own pizza was cheap. Great quality and at a great cost! If you aren't scared of strange beasts and looking for a great time... Strange Beasts is the spot! Meatballs 4.4/5 Pizza (Pepperoni) 4.3/5 Pizza (Cheese) 3.9/5 Also get the ranch sauce it's homemade and offers a cool kick with the flavor of the pizza!

Love love love love!!! Must go! Best part is, masks are optional. Their pizza is absolutely amazing. They have such great combinations. We had the gorgonzilla prosciutto pizza and WOW! I would eat this pizza everyday if I could. Service was amazing. We had the funky Buddha seltzer, loved it. The roasted cauliflower appetizer was good, but the pizza filled us up enough; so we didn't get to finish the cauliflower. Must go, great vibe!

I come here all the time with my family. Strange beast has the perfect Friday night ambiance. They always have something going on whether it's live music or karaoke which makes me look forward to it. The pizza here is truly so delicious. One of my favorites is "The Swamp Thing" and their meatball appetizers. After eating here so often I can't go back to dominos or Pizza Hut. The taste of freshly made pizza is really superior. Strange beast, I love you!!!!
