STRAT Café

Pretty bad. I never leave reviews, but I wish I’d read them before coming. We also got moldy fruit. Service was fine the food was worse than a Denny’s. Ordered steak and eggs. Eggs and potatoes tasted like they pulled the food from a plastic bag and microwaved them. Steak tasted like it was frozen for a longggg time, extremely over salted. Stale bagel. Coffee wasn’t drinkable.

Got moldy fruit. Server didn't apologize (not that it was her fault, but the principle), said she would "show her chef", never said anything and then just charged me for the $16 fruit plate. Posting this in case I get sick, to be honest. Food was expensive.

Went for brunch two day in a row and it was great. Ordered French toast and pot roast it was delicious.

I didn't want to give any stars. Because ww ordered our breakfast. I got my meal. But they forgot my wife's meal. Waiting on that my food got cool and by the time the waitress came around. We were very upset. It looked like she didn't want to deal with us and try everything to blame it other employees. We are from Houston Tx and are here on my birthday. Wow what kind of service! 💩👎👎

I was staying at The Strat Hotel and decided to grab takeout from The Strat Café — but the experience was absolutely awful. When I walked up to the hostess stand, the woman at the front was too busy cleaning menus to even greet or acknowledge me. I asked if I needed to stand in line to place a takeout order — she didn’t answer, just pointed toward another podium. When I went over, the gentleman taking orders was short and rude, acting like he didn’t want to be bothered. After I placed my order, he told me to go back to the original counter to pay. Back at the first desk, the same woman ignored me again, even after I said “excuse me” multiple times. When she finally responded, she just said “yes?” and then “ok,” before going right back to cleaning her menus. When I asked how long the order would take, she shrugged and said, “How am I supposed to know? Ten minutes maybe.” I even spoke with the manager — and instead of addressing the issue, he said, “It’s a small space.” I’m not sure what that has to do with basic courtesy or professionalism, but it was clear they just didn’t care. For a restaurant inside a hotel, this level of service is completely unacceptable. The staff were dismissive, unhelpful, and unprofessional from start to finish. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

Great food. Service is good, but a bit slow. Awesome location and really low key. Open 24s which is nice. Stopped in a few times now and not disappointed. Chicken and ratatouille is the bomb and the tomato soup is spot on. The tuna tacos are great but they punch you in the face with wasabi so fair warning.

This place is just meh. We got two omelettes, the veggie and the cheese. They did not taste good, sort of like the were cooked in old oil. The potatoes were not any better. In addition, our server was not very kind or attentive until it was time to give a tip. Would not recommend!

We've eaten here on two separate trips now and I will ALWAYS order the fried cheese ravioli and truffle fries!!! It's SO GOOD! The ambiance is kind of terrible - being a brightly lit diner when you're used to being in the darkened indoors of the casino. The service has always been good. If you just got in and it's late - this is a quick, easy, and tasty place to eat. At the Strat Café early morning. Ordered the Full House Breakfast plate and an order of Seasonal Fruit. The eggs were cooked to order, a rare feat these days. Rounded out with wheat toast, diced potatoes, bacon and a sausage The seasoned fruits were sliced and placed in an interesting pattern with yogurt. Both were filling and tasty. Super sparkling clean diner with excellent service by Adam. TVs showing local and national news, and open air out to the gaming area casino feel.

Martha - you're the sweetest, kindest & realist waitress ever! Just had to start my review off w a shoutout cause she truly was spectacular! The place is super cool! Quick, clean and yummy! It's so much food, well priced (for being a on the strip kind of deal) and so good! We were seated quickly, everyone was friendly and with a smile on their faces! We came around 10:30pm I wanna say and it was truly a 10 outta 10 experience! Highly recommend! Thanks for everything!

One of the best cafes between The Vegas Strip and Fremont Street. The service is amazing and the food is always on point and they have great tasting coffee. The cafe might be small but the ambience is welcoming and comfortable. Overall it is a well rounded place for breakfast with plenty of tasty options.

Came here for a late breakfast. The good, service was excellent and the restaurant was clean. As for the food, it was mediocre at best. Think Denny's or Shari's, but not as good. Everything just tasted very bland.

A nice, clean and appealing diner like eatery in the center of The Strat, I wish I could say I was impressed. The Strat Cafe is mediocre at best. The chicken tenders were simple, boring, did the job but forgettable. The burger was appealing in presentation but I wish the burger was seasoned, some crack black pepper and garlic salt would of saved this review along with the fries that looked like they sat for awhile with little to remnants of salt. For the price of this lunch, I would have gone to Carls Jr. across the street.

The Strat Cafe is located at the bottom of the Stratosphere tower. Ended up eating here since we made the mistake of not reserving a spot at the rotating "Top of the World" restaurant in Stratosphere. Eating here was the second mistake we made. Food took a long time to arrive. The fried noodles were disappointing - super thin and not crispy. Chicken portions were plenty, but short in flavor. The other entrees came with dry rice and no curry whatsoever. NOT a great way to start the day in Vegas.

The Oreo shake was really good and enough for two people. I ordered the omelette which comes with three eggs, three cheese, and I added spinach.. not a fan of it was only on top and it seemed like plastic. The homestyle fries were mushy.

Quick seating and service. Limited menu. There were not a lot of options for vegetarians or GF friendly folks. The simple plates are the best plates.

I had a hearty breakfast at 1:30 PM. Portions were ginormous and. I could not eat at all, but it was all delicious. I had the full house breakfast which comes with three eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, and toast. Coffee was hot and strong, just how I like it! My server (Ingrid) was courteous, attentive, and pleasant.

Twas very late Saturday night as we were trying to find something to eat and this was our only option really without ubering somewhere. They have a good bit of seating and the waitresses are nice. They do not split the check, they bring it as 1 receipt and a maximum of splitting it 3 ways. This was very inconvenient when we had 6-7 people eating. I ended up picking up the entire bill and it was only $145 for 6-7 meals, so that I couldn't complain about whatsoever. The next day though the same crew went for breakfast and it was 7 meals that time, and the bill was $200. Not sure how breakfast was more expensive but it was. Not saying this place was bad, but it was the worst meal I've eaten in 6 days in Las Vegas. The burger just wasn't good, nothing about it was worth talking about. They had very small stringy onion rings on it which I would have thought I loved, but just kinda left me disappointed. If you're desperate for something to eat I reckon this isn't a bad choice, but don't expect to be blown away.

Location is very convenient atmosphere is very stylish nice environment, friendly and helpful staff but on a smash or pass scale this is going to be a pass for me. There wasn't a long wait for the food and the presentation was lovely. Price was pretty average, but there was no flavor in our food, serious lack of seasoning happening in the kitchen. Both our meals were just plain my husband didn't even finish his meal and that's very rare.

Good, basic foods from different cultures. The burgers were a bit dry but the Philly cheesecake was superb. Onions, bell peppers prefectly seasoned and grilled with a good amount of sliced beef. Very good fries. All reasonably priced.

was staying at the Stratosphere on two occasions and this cafe/diner is very convenient if you're staying at the resort. First things firs, the hours are different than stated on Yelp. Hours are 10pm to 2pm (the following day) So keep in mind there is no afternoon or dinner service, it's pretty much late night and brunch service. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at Strat Cafe, but again if you're staying at the resort or happen to be nearby, it's a good option. Food gets the job done and is very tasty. Standard, but solid breakfast menu and on the dinner side, the pot roast is very filling and there are to go options and it's about a 10-15 minute wait

Food was horrible and service sucked! The place was nice though . This place was a nice hotel.

Service was great. They sat us down quickly. I got the from the garden omelette and I was in love. Honestly I was kinda hesitant as it had spinach and I'm not a great fan of it but it tasted really great. If you're stoping by, I'll recommend that. We also got the steak and eggs and the steak was okay, just needed more seasoning but cooked to perfection. Medium rare

Food: 3.75. Came by as this was the only place to eat at The Strat on a Wednesday at 10:30 am. We were greeted and seated promptly when we arrived. We ordered their Country Fried Freak and Eggs, French Dip, and Golden Wings. Food came out timely and at the right temperature. There was little buffalo sauce so we asked for more. We wanted more gravy for the country fried steak and our server brought more. We liked everything. The best was probably the main entrees (country fried steak and french dip sandwich). Country Fried steak was crispy on the outside and the gravy was flavorful. French dip sandwich was meaty and flavorful. Fries were crispy but needed seasoning. Wings could have been more crispy. Service was very good. We were checked on often and all the staff were smiling. Service: 4.5 Ambiance: 3.75

The customer service was terrible. The wait for the food was very long,over priced, the tender super small, they actually to added a to go surcharge and the waitress Martha was very rude. The food was not tasty would nor recommend for anyone to go to this establishment. The food looked like my toddler made it you decide look at the pictures very disappointed

We went on a Wednesday morning/early lunch. Pricey and decent food. Steak and eggs: Steak was dry and over cooked-we ordered medium rare. The Strat-Benny, eggs Benedict was so bad my husband took one bite and said he didn't want to eat anymore. He said the toast wasn't toasted and the meat they used (pastrami?) was way too salty and didn't go well as part of the dish. We let them know and They replaced with a burger. The burger was the best option. We knew the burger would be a hit because my son ordered one and loved it. I had scrambled eggs and potatoes. I agree, the toast was not toasted. It was warm bread. Server was kind and patient and got that replacement right away. Milkshake-do it! Go get a milkshake from there. It was beautiful and delicious Lots of seating.

Food was good, potatoes could of been better and poached eggs could have been cooked correctly. Overall nice scenery and friendly atmosphere.

Vibe: Dinner after Check-in at hotel Atmosphere: Diner Food: 4 out of 5 Service: 4 out of 5 On a Monday night, this place was about my only option for sit-down dining without leaving the hotel. No reservation needed. I was immediately seated upon arrival. My food came quickly and was good and plentiful for the price. The steak was a little overcooked but still tasty. I liked the au jus for dipping my fries. The game was playing on the mounted tv, which I appreciated as well. Overall, a nice place.

Just went here with my bf and cousin & BAAAABBYYY when I tell y'all we got SICK, we got SICK. Like fighting over the hotel bathroom level sick (and I don't drink so that was not a part of the equation whatsoever.) I only gave 2 stars rather than 1 because the waitstaff are awesome. Very friendly, very observant & on top of everything. The food wasn't good either & the prices are absolutely outrageous for the quality, or lack there of, the food. Just go to another restaurant, trust me.

It is a convenient option, but food quality can vary. Last time we went the service was ok, and the food mediocre.

We tried the Stat Cafe for lunch and it was really good, better than I thought actually. I kept it simple and ordered the turkey club sandwich and fries. Both were great! The fires were fresh and hot and the sandwich (turkey, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and mayo) on well toasted rye bread. Highly recommend!!

First of all Alex, the waitress, was great; they should have more like her! However, they said they open at 7:00, not true. About 6:58, Alvaro, the manager, goes to unlock the register -- very SLOWLY. There are over 40 people waiting to be seating, but that means nothing to Alvaro. They start putting cash in the register while talking and laughing with another employee. More time goes by and he starts to move even slower. Finally, at sometime way after 7:00, they begrudgingly begin to let the customers in (who've been standing there since about 6:45). Average age is well over 65... I never understood how the Strat views its customers; now I do -- they view customers as an INTERRUPTION. I won't be back to the Strat again. Hint to Alvaro, arrive a few minutes early and have everything ready to go at 7:00 -- What a concept!

Café that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod. It is located on the casino floor near the escalator to the SkyPod. I had ran the LV Rock 'n' Roll marathon and was craving a nice hot breakfast after my run. I stayed at the STRAT and had eyeballed this place to eat at during my weekend stay because it looked really nice from the outside. Unfortunately my experience here was not up to par. The prices didn't bother me because food is expensive anywhere in Las Vegas. But service was nonexistent. I had to flag down a server to take my order after waiting 15 minutes. Someone else brought my food out and no one ever returned to refill my coffee or check on me. A rare moment that I don't leave a tip. What a disappointing way to end my trip. The food itself was just average bland diner food.

Came here after a show at the Strat. Got there about 45 mins before closing. Order the steak and the summer salad with shrimp. The summer salad was supposed to have grilled peaches, instead they were cold and canned. The steak was good, not the best cut of meat, but it was cooked a perfect medium rare and we really liked the sauce. The decor is nice in this diner style restaurant. They have a barrier between booths. Staff were not very present. Only saw her once during the meal even though it wasn't too busy. Wouldn't eat there again, there are too many other options.

This review is long overdue, I love eating at this establishment, even if I'm not staying at the STRAT. The food is out of this world and the portions are huge! This is not the main reason I frequent this cafe, the number one reason is the staff, since my first visit way back in May of 2024 every member of the staff has made me feel like the number one customer in the world! Every time I come in and have breakfast, the steak and eggs is my favorite breakfast plate, they remember me because of my service dog! They tell me they remember her because they've never seen a better disciplined dog, the usual comment is "wow we didn't even realize that there was a dog in here" they love that she wears shoes plus they also always come and greet and pet her. This visit Dec 4th, my hostess Patty recognized us and with a big smile sat us at our favorite table, my waiter Mitchel, this was his first time serving me and he was just as welcoming, kind and polite as the rest of the staff. It's an amazing feeling to receive such exceptional service, reason why every time I'm in Vegas I will have breakfast at the STRAT cafe!

Thus place is so convenient if you are staying at the Strat. It was my 2nd visit there. The first time, was more like a dinner time visit, and the 2nd time, was for breakfast. I enjoyed all my food, but the highlight of the visit was listening to 2 workers argue. A middle aged lady and a senior aged lady. They were arguing about the senior worker, constantly walking to the back, where the middle aged working was working. I guess she didn't like her double g that, and asked her to stay in the front. The senior work held her own and was talking back to her, because the other worker was disrespectful, especially talking to a senior lady like that. Now back to my good selections....the omelette was great and the potatoes were seasoned nicely and cooked just right. Grilled cheese was tasty and the fried rice was yummy. So all in all, doesn't hurt to try them, if you want a quick meal.

Send Jon Taffer up in here!! I rarely write a bad review. I have friends and Fam that work in the culinary industry and having said that, I deal with food and just had my exam on food safety. I got served with old chicken and some soggy fries. Did my fries get cooked in dirty oil? I really like the Stratosphere. It's one of my hang outs upstairs at the look out. And I enjoy watching the shows here. It really breaks my heart writing this. This place has so much potential to blow competitors away. Instead of this review I can easily just write my complaint to upstairs. I'm not going to go there because they will not care. My belief is that this company does not care for their people or the customers. Just look at the 5 Star reviews on their best days. Not any of them the company responds back saying thanks. So that kind of tells us a little something there. The price? Its overpriced!! For the un quality food they are serving? The Strats just open another restaurant called Chi Asian Kitchen, Now that place is awesome. The price is tab up there on quality food. But the Cafe is almost the same price range? I can tell some of the staff are not happy there. I read the body language and I watched one staff that got goofed out because he did not get a tip. I really hope they can just surgically take a deep dive into this place and turn it around.

My fiancé and I stayed at the STRAT hotel during our stay in Las Vegas and during our stay we went to eat at the STRAT Cafe. My fiancé ordered the Braised Beef Sandwich and I ordered their Turkey Club Sandwich. We both shared a Hummus Platter. Their food tasted ok, average at best. What really made the stars go down on this review though was the price of our food and drinks. Also, our server neglected to check up on us and our drinks and everything while we were there. He took our order and then brought our food and then we didn't see him after that. We had to ask a random staff to get our tab ticket for us. Everything at the STRAT Cafe was super expensive. Only went once and will probably not ever back.

The food was okay. Service was slow. For the price, I would say dine elsewhere. Wait staff was not very pleasant.

Ok I must admit I was quite surprised that the food was actually decent. Nothing towards Strat cafe but usually cafes are just that, not the worst and not the greatest. The fried raviolis were fuego! And the Cesar salad I got was pretty good as well. My family shared nachos and it was a great sized portion. Our sever was a little rude at first, she just had an attitude and wasn't very friendly. The decor and theme is so pretty!! I love all the paintings they have. (See pics)

We stopped in after taking friends to the Sky Pod. In the afternoon midweek it was easy to get a table. The wife and I had the beef and cheddar sandwich. It's essentially pot roast with a melted slice of cheese and hoarse radish sauce. My wife bun was a little hard and she took off. She ate the pot roast with her fork. I felt the hoarse radish sauce was pretty week with no bite to it at all. The pot roast was juicy, tender and had really good flavor. A soft bun and better sauce and this would have been a great sandwich. Our friend had the French dip sandwich and enjoyed it. His wife had the bacon cheeseburger and also seemed to enjoy it. The French fries were served in their own mini basket and were decent. Overall you could do worse, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here either.

Good food and great service. After a late night in Vegas we would get here at about 2pm for breakfast. David always gave great service and funny 'Hard Rocker' to talk to. David knows you by your order, not sight. Coffee for both of us OJ (one to share) Meat Fest Omlette (to share) extra side of sourdough toast Thank you David and Ricardo and your team. Cashier at front is useless and rude.

great experience! Was sat and greeted quickly. The appetizer & food came out quickly. The server and busser kept our drinks refilled and checked on us throughout. The food was good. No complaints on burger, meat omelette, the nachos were good too but sooo many olives & the cheese is like a stadium nacho cheese sauce (nothing special), only big complaint is the eggs Benedict was over cooked :( Over all experience was good & worth the price.

Pros: the location, the atmosphere, prices were fair, breakfast sandwich, nachos. Cons: The service, The avocado toast - ball your hand into a fist. That's about half of the cucumber they put on top. It had more cucumber than my local Safeway's produce section. If you love cucumber you'd like it, but I am not a fan.

Chicken salad sandwich was immaculate! 10/10 recommend. Country fried steak was bussin

This was our first time here. We're staying at the Strat with my parents and this place was perfect. You literally just have to go downstairs to go eat. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner available. Loryn was our waitress, she was so great. She took really good care of us and kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. The food was so delicious, the portions were great. We will be sure to come back again.

The STRAT Cafe was a surprising find. I decided to eat here, because it was located close to the show I was seeing, and I was very hungry. The restaurant serves typical diner food, such as all-day breakfast, burgers and appetizers. I ordered wings and a cheeseburger, the cheeseburger was excellent, it was cooked perfectly. The wings were also very good. They were busy but the service was timely. This was a good find.

First time earing here and it was because I earned a dining credit from gambling. Very clean and friendly service. I had the veggie burger and fries which I couldn't finish it all but it tasted good. I'm not a vegetarian but I always try different dishes when I can. The veggie burger was good with the guac.

Summary for the busy executive: Prices all over the map, pretty good diner food, good service, former 1950s cafe now turned generic. My daughter wanted to go to a 1950s cafe, and we found this place through a Google search. We happened to be near the North Strip, so we decided to check it out. Unfortunately, this is no longer a '50s cafe. This resort has been trying to improve its reputation and image, and so nearly everything has been renovated in its transformation from "The Statosphere" to "The Strat." (It really is overall a whole lot nicer than it was just a few years ago!) The checkered tiles are still on the floor, and the food is probably pretty much the same as when it was a nostalgia place. But the rest of the decor is generic, trying really hard to be cool, and failing (it appears that the designers shopped at IKEA). It doesn't work. The restaurant's recent redesign needs a total redesign. The food retains vestiges of the old restaurant. Burgers, fries, blue plate specials, and the like. Everyone around us -- and I literally mean everyone -- had ordered the breakfast burrito. And it wasn't difficult to see why: the thing is HUGE, and definitely sharable. It looked delicious, and I was jealous. We went for a burger, which was really expensive for a diner burger, and a bowl of chicken soup, which was huge and cheap. Both were delicious; we were in the mood for a greasy spoon, and we got food that hit the spot. The service was excellent. It was all men working in the restaurant that day, and they were gentlemen without exception. They served us quickly, were warm and polite, and made us feel taken care of, despite the fact that the restaurant was packed on a Saturday at lunch. I can hardly speak more highly of the staff that day. So: The atmosphere is bleh; I wish that they would return to the 1950s nostalgia approach. The food is exactly what you expect from a diner: nothing to write home about, but satisfying in an American comfort food sort of way. The servers were great, and working extremely hard for those Strip tourists. Prices are on the high side for what the restaurant is (though on the low side for the Strip), but the portions are large, and you can share or find some good deals like the big bowl of delicious chicken soup that I enjoyed. Not a bad place for lunch at the Strat(osphere).

Staying at the Strat Hotel we decided to come here for breakfast. We were seating quickly & our order was taken right away! The place is clean & I love how bright & open it is. The staff was super friendly & even talked stories & were telling us jokes. It was very welcoming. The food was too much for us. You definitely get what you paid for!! :) we have the country fried steak w/ OE eggs, potatoes, and toast. A side of pancakes (which came with whip cream, syrup, and butter), and a big breakfast (bacon, potatoes, and scrambled eggs) & a root beer soda..everything we ordered came out too roughly $55. I definitely recommend coming here!! 5/5 on everything.

I have to say I was not impressed $19 for avocado toast that had absolutely no flavor. I don't know if the cucumbers have been soaked in water but could not taste them at all no flavor. It looks like it would be bursting. The flavor is bursting with nothingness.

The cafe was packed. They have strange hours. I came for breakfast/ brunch, and I ended up ordering to go, which was the best option. You are paying higher for mediocre bar food because you are in a casino. I got chicken noodle soup, and it was okay. It was a pretty big size for $12.99. My husband got the chicken fried steak, it was dry and not worth the price. The staff was friendly, but it was so busy there that they seemed to have been dealing with troubled guests and almost had to call security on someone. They need a seating or waiting area for those who want to-go orders. They just told us to wait out there... and then pay when your name is called. I would rather have spent the money in PT's for what we paid.

this restaurant makes a great breakfast. they are very accommodating and flexible with their menu. when you go, ask for ray. ray is the highlight of this establishment.
