The cocktails are top-tier (the espresso martini is a must), and the staff are genuinely lovely — friendly, attentive, and always up for a chat. The music is spot on too, with a great mix of pop, indie, and classics that creates a perfect balance between relaxed and lively. It’s not just a bar — it’s a community hub, a safe and stylish space where everyone feels welcome. A refreshing change from the usual, with great people, good drinks, and a real sense of belonging. A perfect spontaneous stop! Stray was a spur-of-the-moment decision after a packed day in town, and it ended up being the perfect way to wind down. The vibe was relaxed and welcoming, the music set the mood just right, and the service was top-notch. We were impressed by the thoughtfully curated wine selection and equally great cocktails. A hidden gem worth coming back to!

One of the top bars for cocktails in Manchester. Delightfully inventive and unique with great fast service, will definitely be returning for more... Atmosphere can be a little loud with music but it's a nice airy bar with comfortable seating.

Delicious drinks! HIGHLY recommend the one with pandan in it, it was the best one of the night. Great service as well. Was a bit loud in there but it was a Saturday night after all!

Did not disappoint! Delicious, well balanced cocktails in a bright, cosy space. Welcoming & friendly staff, happy to talk through the menu. We had, hands down, the best espresso martini in Manchester, if not the world! Some real time & thought has gone into it, and it was so tasty! The gimlet & the amaretto sour also hit the spot; super delicious. We can’t wait to visit again!

These cocktails are incredible! I really wish I could make the ones I ordered myself. They're some of the best I've ever tasted. The staff asked about any allergies when taking the order which is not a question you get normally asked at a cocktail bar, so I really appreciated that! The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous little cocktail bar with incredible service. Our server was very attentive and happy to answer any questions or give recommendations. We mentioned we had just come from a meal and he gave us a complimentary digestif to sip on while we looked at the menu. The cocktail menu is super interesting with some unusual signatures. We also expressed interest in a cocktail other than the ones we’d ordered and were given a little taster on the house. Great little touches that just made the experience faultless.

My favourite cocktail bar in Manchester. A big shout however, I know what I like. The space is perfect - big windows and an intimate small bar feel. The cocktail quality underpins the whole deal. Everything I’ve tried on the drinks menu has been top notch. Negroni? Of course. Tomato Margarita? Who’d have thought? Olive Martini - savoury deliciousness. Might move in.
