Street Food - Review - Montauk - New York - The Infatuation

"This restaurant in downtown Montauk is a popular spot to get your fill of dumplings, ramen, and poke in a region seriously lacking in Asian food, but the lobster rolls are also a highlight. The signature roll ($32) has soft chunks of local lobster in warm scallion ginger sauce and spicy mayo, hugged in bibb lettuce, and stuffed in a toasted brioche bun. It’s a fun take on a classic, and if you’re looking for even more Montauk lobster, add a scallion pancake topped with the meat to your order, or maybe some lobster fried rice, lo mein, or ramen. Takeout is convenient to tote over to Montauk Brewing Co. down the street." - Melissa Kravitz Hoeffner

Very poor quality food for the price. I looked up the spot found it on here google maps. And order to pick up. The price on the menu said 16.95 for pineapple stir fried chicken. When i got there to pick up and pay it was 21.70. When i ask about the price online and showed them they replide with aggression and said it was old. I do not recommend this place.

I ordered a lobster fried rice and added beef, and it was a thing of beauty. The fried rice was done to perfection with the beef and lobster, the rice had wok-hei and very balanced with each rice coated with eggs. The lobster goes very well with the brocolli. Generous portion of lobster and food. 5 stars!

This place is great if you’re looking for seafood with an Asian twist. The tuna and lobster is soo fresh, the lobster scallion pancake is exceptional. I got the fish and chips and it was so good, not greasy at all! Highly recommend this place

We regretted our choice last night. We ordered online and walked over from our hotel a little before our order was expected to be ready and the bag was ready. Our vegetable dumplings were cold but the other food was hot. My husband’s General Tso’s was just fried chicken in a sauce—nothing about it was General Tso’s. He barely ate any of it. My vegetable stir fry was in a thin sauce that was gross—so I ate very little of my meal. I pretty much had white rice for dinner and $61 is a lot to pay to just eat white rice. My husband did like the pork buns but we would not go here again.

Came here on Sunday eve June 29 with my best friend. We had edamame and seaweed salad and we ordered the cold lobster roll and the hot lobster roll. Everything was delicious! Service was excellent and we ate outside. Our waiter was so pleasant and we will definitely be back!

Amazing location in MTK but unfortunately we did not get our food for 1 hr. The families we were with all finished their food, we got a beer next store at MTK brewery, we finished those and still food wasn't ready. When I inquired with thr dront desk, they apologized and stated they would reimburse us or we could wait 15 mins and they would prep the order. They found our bag that was ready 45 mins earlier and gave us that instead. The tuna poke bowls were warm, the warm lobster roll was cold and soggy. Terrible experience and unpleasant dining. Beers next store were delicious!

This place is not good, I have no idea how the ratings are so high. We ordered veggie dumplings, veggie ramen and mapo tofu. Everything definitely was just reheated frozen meals. The dumplings were kinda still cold from being unfrozen and the mapo tofu was gelatinous and really bad - didn't even taste like mapo tofu??? just weird packaged goop. The ramen was just brother with some broccoli, lettuce and noodles - it was edible but very bland. I don't recommend this place at all unless you want to be disappointed. Other better Asian food places in Montauk to try.
