15 Top-Notch Restaurants in Sonoma County

"In a quaint little dining room that sits just 26 people, chef Jevon Martin and bar expert Marjorie Pier serve comforting food that packs huge flavor punches — with or without a scotch-infused cocktail. Choose from mains like root vegetable Bolognese and fried chicken marsala, and always save room for dessert, especially when bergamot ice cream with brown butter crumble is on the menu." - Christina Mueller, Dianne de Guzman

Google
Yum!! The food was unreal, really tasty, really fresh ingredients - I think it was the butternut salad, which one would think would be boring, but it was the complete opposite, bursting with flavor flav. Everything was great, the service was beautiful, super friendly and made you feel like you’re a family member! LOVED IT

Google
It's a hole in the wall type restaurant. The seating was cramped. The restaurant is in a small space, but they make good use of it. I enjoyed the food. It has a simple menu, but that was from it being restaurant week. I would not go back to this restaurant, and my ratings do not reflect that.

Google
Fantastic little spot in downtown Petaluma. Very small and cozy place that seats maybe 15 people. Definitely need to make a reservation before coming but once you do you won't regret it. Menu seems to change on a weekly basis but everything we had was so delicious. Be aware that if you get one of the later seatings (ours was at 8:30pm), they may be out of some items. A couple of their on-menu items were out for the night by the time we were seated as well as an additional off-menu special item, so just be aware that if one particular item catches your eye it MAY be out if you are one of the last seatings. But regardless, the food we DID have was phenomenal. The steak and scallops were perfectly cooked and the sauces that came with it paired perfectly with the meals. We got one of the desserts as well and it was good but very simple when compared to how good the dinner itself was. Service was perfectly acceptable. Also they primarily have wine with a couple beers, but no liquor, just FYI. Overall, loved this place and would definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Google
DELICIOUS MEAL!!! We really enjoyed dining at Street Social, it was the meal highlight of the trip. Every dish packed a punch, but the pork belly and scallops really stood out to us. We'll definitely return next time we are on the area. They were also very accommodating of us running late on our reservation (unfortunate side effects of wine tasting late into the afternoon...) which was very appreciated. Highly recommend!

Google
Every bite was an explosion of flavor. Had a magical evening. The “patio” atmosphere could use some help but overall would come back for the food every night if I could.

Google
Menu changes weekly but what we had was delicious: yakitori duck hearts, gem lettuce salad, fried quail and BBQ hamachi collar! Black garlic focaccia was the least successful dish in our opinion, but the chef's menu was will thought out and executed well, and his wife was lovely making sure we had everything we needed. Great time!

Google
Cold food on cold plates served with a cold shoulder. So disappointing. Our dining experience started well but fell apart with presentation of the main course. My steak and the sides were room temperature, served on a cold plate. Very unappetizing. Our server (rude & arrogant woman who turned out to be an owner) asked how we liked the food. I was honest that the flavor was good but everything was cold. She immediately become confrontational and said “It’s not cold”. I replied that it was all room temperature and not hot. Her response was, “room temperature is not cold, so it’s not cold!”. I was amazed. She turned to my husband and asked abruptly, “and yours?!”. He also said the flavor was good but it seemed to have been sitting a while and was not hot. The fat on his pork chop was still uncooked and jelled, not rendered. She then loudly announced, “I’ve dealt with people like you before” and stormed off. We were both stunned. She insulted us once again when we declined to take the undercooked leftovers with us, returning only once to curtly fling the bill onto the table. In my 23 years here in Petalauma and my many dining experiences, this goes down as the absolute worst. So sad they’re taking up a space with such potential.

Google
Small, but charming restaurant with evolving farm to table menu. TRY the olives if they are on menu, try the heirloom tomatoes with burrata….the flavor will be one of citrus nodes you had not had before. Love the way they offer dishes here, limited…but with great variety in flavors.

Yelp
Is this cute restaurant a 3, no, but it doesn't measure up to others that I rate a 4. You walk down a covered alleyway (?), go down some steps and there's this great looking place just drawing you in. And it certainly drew people in all night - reservations are a must. The Pork Riblets were delicious. The Escargot Rockefeller brought 3 (?) in the shell snails with a spinach dip and garlic breadcrumbs inside. They were very dry and had little taste of snail. The Scallop Crudo was beautifully plated but needed a kick (more acid) to bring out the flavor. The bbq'd Hamachi Collar was something we've never had but it too was disappointing and on the dry side. It was somewhat saved by putting the fish meat on the crispy tortillas with a slaw and bean paste that it was served with. The Grilled Teres Major ( a tender beef cut) was very good. Would I return, maybe not but the other reviewers tasted more than I did so definitely give it a try.

Yelp
If you desire an intimate, personal and extremely tasty dining experience, a visit to Street Social. The diminutive size creates very personal feel and the staff balances attentiveness vs leaving you alone to enjoy your dining 'adventure'. The appetizers and all 3 main courses, and the quickly-devastated dessert, were excellent in all aspects. This is not an inexpensive experience but if you are looking for a very unique, personal and enjoyable dining outing that is a 'cut above', you NEED to make your reservations NOW!

Yelp
I've worked service much of my life and dine out frequently, but have rarely encountered since a rude and arrogant server. Turns out she was an owner, I can't imagine treating patrons the way we were treated. To my concern about my cold food, she replied with distain, "I've dealt with people like you before" and then added another insulting comment when I declined to take it with me as a leftover. It would seem that cold food and cold service are on the menu. Bad experience and would absolutely not recommend it.

Yelp
Couldn't wait to try this place. The wine we ordered was a red blend GSM which was "unfiltered and all natural" which should have been a red flag- it tasted sour. My bad. I can honestly say it was the the absolute worst bottle of wine ever. Note to self: bring wine and pay the corkage fee. We ordered the roasted cauliflower which was tasty but the collard greens were too vinegary for my taste. There were 3 dinner entrees and we ordered them all and they were very good. The place is tiny but they do a decent job making use of every space.
google avatar

Martha D.

Yelp
The place is tiny. A few tables inside and a few in the hallway of a small retail building. The food was excellent! My mainly pescatarian/vegetarian group shared a bunch of dishes and the standouts were the baby beet salad with pickled blueberries, pistachio, rose, Sumac, the Romaine gems Caesar with miso dressing, the blistered Padron peppers with black garlic, chili crisp and cilantro, the roasted Nantes carrots with Kadota fig harissa, sesame seeds, and the Georgia Jet sweet potatoes with Berbere spice, zhoug. The one alcoholic fizzy cocktail they had was super tasty. Being such a tiny intimate space, you would hope for a short visit from the chef. But he appeared particularly uninterested in meeting his clientele. Oh well. All we wanted to do was give him compliments. Really the food is terrific and veggie forward.

Yelp
We were visiting Petaluma for the long weekend and was so excited we were able to get a reservation at Street Social. I had heard a lot about it (great food and service) and we had all that and more. Getting a reservation was very easy, we were seated in some outdoor the restaurant in the pretty historic-looking seating and treated so amazingly the whole time. We had orange wine and rose cider, the crudo and gem salad -- both so rich and delicious. I had the monkfish for main, and my partner at the filet of beef, really delicious and we cleaned our plates with joy! Service was wonderful and helpful, I highly recommend a visit (your meal will be amazing!)

Yelp
Do you all know about Street_Social in Petaluma!?! My friend and I stumbled upon it when we had announced that we didn't really care what we ate, we just wanted to hang out. We then walked in Street Social-adorable super small place in the alley next to the Christmas shop - a gorgeous small hidden restaurant that feels like it was carved out the stone. The food was AMAZING. I have no photos because I was not prepared-BEST EDEMAME I have ever had...GRILLED ZUCCHINI BREAD...no I have never ordered zucchini bread from a restaurant....it was good I wanted to ask for 2nds. All the flavors were so you unique and had amazing layers. Kind of reminded me of Little Saint when it first opened. Just a place where you know -after the first bite-everything is safe to order because everything coming out of that kitchen is going to be amazing. Wonderful owner so warm and welcoming. But am I crazy !? There are less than 100 reviews on Yelp- you all know this place exists-right!? Did you have the same amazing experience?? Photo of menu stolen from their website-I really wish I had food photos...plated beautifully!

Yelp
The food was excellent, the service excellent cheerful and friendly, tiny place but we were in the loft and loved it. It's right above the four or six small tables downstairs via a circular wooden stair case. It was just the three of us but six would be easy to fit there too. I had the Osso buco and it was fabulous... falling off the bone, great seasonings and melting in my mouth. We ordered the Caesar salad which is not romaine but made with I think broccoli rabe. Wonderful dressing with some crunchy textures in it. Sharing two salads between the three of us, two osobuco orders and one steak order we were almost too full to have dessert. But that didn't stop us I'm glad we went for it! I can't wait to go again.

Yelp
My favorite date night restaurant! Wow, they have flavor down. "Eclectic comfort food ", I would describe it as a cute back alley slice of heaven. Service A+, food A+, presentation A+, cheers to the chef. Creative menu. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Post-pandemic, Street Social is better than ever. Marjorie and Jevon are still at it, and they are killing it. Street Social was named one of the best restaurants in Sonoma County by "Sonoma Magazine" for a good reason: Street Social is great! Street Social's website says the restaurant offers "damn good food." That is an understatement; Chef Jevon churns out dishes that are "to-die-for," "uncommonly good," and "just wow." Marjorie is still then queen of the front of the house, delivering funny banter as well as well-crafted dishes. Even on a day when her assistants went AWOL, she took care of the entire dining room all by herself. The gem lettuces with Point Reyes bleu cheese ($16) was a great start to the dining experience. Fresh and crunchy, the little gems explode in your mouth with a burst of freshness. Refreshing and yummy, the dish is a great nod to the deliciousness to come with the entrees. The Berkshire pork porterhouse schnitzel ($45) was the star of the show. Moist and delicious, it was cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside and warm and tender on the inside. Served with spring vegetables, the spatzli verde ($38) was fine, but lacked depth. What is the star? The "verde"? The spaztli? A bit confused, the dish was only OK. The wine list is still compact and well curated. As always, service is fun, friendly, prompt and just awesome. "Sonoma Magazine" picked Street Social as one of the best restaurants of 2023 for a good reason. Go to a browser; make reservations right now; you will not be sorry.

Yelp
Great food and friendly service! The atmosphere was nice, but it was a little noisy during peak hours.

Yelp
What a special dining experience. Most people I've talked to have never been here, but still it was completely full on a Saturday night. I hope more people discover this delicious, intimate restaurant... without it getting toooo hard to get in to. (It is really, really small.) We ordered two things from each of three sections, which I recommend if you want to leave full. Favorites include the steak, pork nuggets, hamachi crudo. Such care goes into each dish, and the restaurant itself reminds me of Barcelona -- casual, candlelit, sexy. Great for a romantic evening.

Yelp
Street Social is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in town. It's small, intimate, and charming, tucked away down a long, narrow corridor between the busy boulevard and 4th street. Inside, you'll be greeted by Marjorie and Jevon, the lovely duo that owns and runs this fabulous restaurant and bottle shop. We've been coming here for quite some time and what we love most is the constantly changing, super creative menu that highlights and celebrates the best products, not just of the season, but of the week. If you're adventurous and love to try new things, you'll love coming to Street Social. You won't find the same tired filet mignon on the menu - instead, expect things like pastrami beef tongue! We also really love the atmosphere - it doesn't feel like you're going to some stuffy, Michelin-rated restaurant, but rather, stepping foot inside Marjorie and Jevon's home. It's warm and inviting, and is a bit of an escape from the busyness and chaos of the world that's only a couple hundred feet outside. In addition to the wonderful food, they've curated an excellent selection of local and international wines. Not only are these wines available during the dinner service, you can also stop by and purchase them when the bottle shop is open - a great opportunity to take home a bottle or two for a substantial discount off the menu price. With being such a small restaurant (maybe 7-8 tables total) and their recent addition to the SF Chronicle's Top 25 bay area restaurants list, they're almost always booked, sometimes multiple days in advance, so be prepared and grab your reservations early - you'll be so happy you did!

Yelp
I have been here several times and it is my absolute favorite restaurant in Petaluma! It's TINY so make a reservation! Despite its small size it's never too loud or cramped. The service is excellent- everyone so nice. They have a great natural wine list and yummy non-alcohol drinks. This is a place you want to share all the dishes!

Yelp
This was one of the best dinners I've had--the ingredients were so fresh and delicious. My steak was perfection. This is a fantastic restaurant and we'll be coming back for sure.

Dana H.

Yelp
Wow! Ridiculously fresh and delicious. So many great flavors and textures. Didn't know what to expect, but SS knocked it out of the park. Excellent service and the low-key, easygoing vibe is spot on. What an incredible hidden gem.

Yelp
Amazing food. Nice atmosphere. Very small space, be sure to book a reservation. Great service.

Yelp
Here's what we had for dinner last night. Simply the best total meal we've had at Street Social since we started coming here when the opened! My wife and I split everything except our main. Each element was excellent. The two most "out there" were the Hamachi Crudo with PICKLED BLUEBERRIES and the Scallops Florentine (a puree of spinach and spring onions?) and DUCK HAM. Who the DOES that kind of pairing? JEVON! And he's the one that consistently knocks my socks off with his music that is shared with clients. Last night it was a Motown Special with a hint of Ray Charles. OMG! And who came up with the Vihno Verde for my bride and the Vermentino for me for exactly the same meal... two totally different wines, but perfect for each of us? Who DOES that kind of wine pairing? MARJORIE! Sorry to PUNish you, but I guess why they are a great pair... The details on the meal (stolen from the menu descriptions) Snacks . . Blistered Snap Peas. X.O. Wild rice 'krispies'. Fried baby Artichokes. A.C.G. charred Lemon. Hamachi Crudo. Pickled Blueberries. Urfa Chile. Green Garlic. Smalls . . 16. . Romaine Caesar. Miso dressing. Boquerones. Parmesan bread crumb. Mains . . Scallops Florentine. Duck ham. charred Broccoli. Chasseur sauce. Sweet . . Pot de Creme. Chantilly. R10. . Pot de Creme. Chantilly. Rose. White Wine . . . docil 2019 LOUREIRO VINHO VERDE, douro, PORTUGAL GRos Ventre 2020 VERMENTINO, el dorado, California P.S. they have something like 6 inside tables that spaced around the building corridors. It's a heck of lot more work for Marjorie but a great safe, private dining experience for the clients! P.P.S. I have added the pix of the menu except I forgot the peas and the artichokes... too busy eating!

Yelp
Small, lovely and well curated food and wine menu. Come here for a special experience. Been twice. Love it.

Bryan G.

Yelp
Food was mediocre at best. Service was slow and inattentive. Cannot speak to ambiance because we were place in an upstairs space without air over the top of the kitchen. Left hungry and would not recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Street Social is a gift, hidden in a long corridor in downtown Petaluma. The place has seating for about five people downstairs and then a handful of people upstairs. They also have 2 tables outside in the corridor. They are very conscientious about their covid protocol so they were limiting reservations so get yours ASAP!! The menu changes all of the time, but we helped ourselves to many of the delicacies listed. We got their home made bread with miso butter--very tasty! Next we had their deep fried pig ear which I was skeptical about BUT it knocked my socks off! Honestly, if you were going here for some comfort food and wanted to "pig out" on these, you absolutely could. They were crunchy and salty, but they added some bbq bacon to sweeten them. I could have ordered more. We had to save room for the main course though. My fiancé and I got the two mains: grouper and beef cheek. The grouper was cooked perfectly. I didn't help myself to the tiny shrimp or the pickled garlic around the plate because my fiancé "needed help" with his beef cheek (I helped myself). The beef cheek was so tender and flavorful. Honestly, they could have served just two pieces and it would have been enough, but I snuck in and got the third. We couldn't leave without a piece of the persimmon cake and this is the ONLY complaint I have about the whole meal--the sauce on the cake was way too salty. The cake and the ice cream were AMAZING though, and the owner shared how she reduces the persimmons over time in order to make a kind of jelly which she uses in the batter for the cake. AMAZING PLACE! Can't recommend it enough. Great for a cute date spot, or for bringing family, but just come! You'll never know what tasty treats they've cooked up here!!
google avatar

Anisa A.

Yelp
The dishes that are served here are truly the art of the chef. Each piece can stand alone. Amazing - what a great experience.

Sparks H.

Yelp
I was disappointed by the experience. The waitress rushed us through like it was a chicken joint, without describing the menu or intentions of the chef. All in all it was very transactional including the plopping down of a credit card machine on the table at the end of the meal. I expect much better from fine dining. Food was fine.
google avatar

Maria F.

Yelp
Ugggggh. The first bite of beef cheek. Insane. Polenta and greens are the perfect compliment. The chicken liver mousse, beet salad and bread pudding- all excellent. We loved Twisted Two and couldn't be happier Street Social is also amazing, It had been on my places-to-eat list for a while. I knew they had great COVID protocols so I felt comfortable about eating out there. I finally made a reservation for tonight but unfortunately my coworker tested positive for COVID so we canceled the reservation and ordered take out instead. Marjorie was very understanding and accommodating. Can't wait to visit in person and make a night of it!

Yelp
My husband and I tried coming here a couple years back and could not get a reservation, we vowed to come back. A Black owned restaurant where the sous chef is also the owner, yes please! And then to learn his wife is a connoisseur of cocktails, and could get us a non-alcoholic cocktail was exciting! So on our trip back to Napa valley we got a reservation and are SO glad we did! Arguably one of the best meals we've had! My husband is a sous chef of Soul Food and was blown away. One dish we shared was the neck one a fish that had been smoked, grilled with a tamarind sauce, so good! My dish was poblano chiles stuffed with cheeses with some kind of amazing sauce. My husband had steak with an arugula salad and I couldn't tell you what sauce, but it was amazing. We had amazing bitter non-alcoholic cocktails and cherry ice cream with burnt butter crumble. So good! The environment was very chill, artsy and eclectic, perfect! I recommend this place 100xs over, it's worth the drive!

C L.

Yelp
Outstanding! This dinner was part of their special guest series and this decadent duck meal didn't disappoint! Jennifer Reinhardt was there to promote her new cookbook The Whole Duck, so we were treated with Liberty Ducks! A swirl of flavors with every bites! The Chef delivered, this tiny little spot was buzzing with happy people, and we felt very special up in the "VIP loft ". Great people too!

Yelp
This place checks all the boxes for me: local, small biz, seasonal dishes based on fresh ingredients, creative takes, friendly staff, craft cocktails & curated drink list. You can eat a bit or order 1 of everything! Salivating just thinking about all the dishes. Check the menu before you reserve as it varies each week.

Conrad C.

Yelp
Small place, good food, OK service. BUT because it's so small you need reservations--and if you reserve online you have to use their Resy service, which requires an email address that they then spam you at *with no unsubscribe option.* Don't use their spammy reservation system, just call the restaurant when they're open. You'll be glad you took the extra step--trust me!

Yelp
Street Social blew us away. It has been on my list for awhile but had not made it down there. The hubs and I came down for our anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. We were seated in the alley that had a very New Orleans vibe with the old stone and pretty string lights. The tables were set far apart, and is probably the safest feeling dining experience I've had of late. Music was great and eclectic, and I kept wondering if my Spotify had accidentally connected to their stereo Service was FANTASTIC. The server/co-owner was so kind and welcoming. She had great wine pairing suggestions, offered us bubbles to celebrate our anniversary, and it was overall just top notch service. The food. Hands down the best restaurant we have had up this way. We started off with kurobuta pork nuggets with a dill pickle aoili and a spicy (habanero I think?) bbq sauce. I could have licked the sauce ramekins clean. Next up, a crudo with pickled blueberries. The pickled blueberries with the fish was surprisingly delicious. Next up, corn on the cob with a caeser dressing, parm, and popcorn dust was INCREDIBLE. We legit both stopped eating and asked why we had never had corn with caeser before. Holy cow was it good. Like mind blowing good. Probably my favorite dish of the night. My husband ordered the miso marinated skirt steak with eggplant and mushrooms as his main. Beef usually upsets my stomach so I typically only try a small bite, but when I did, I said "to hell with you stomach" and had several more pieces. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I ordered the gnocchi with broccoli in a smoked cheddar Mornay that was killer. Super rich and creamy and delightful. Dessert was a nectarine ice cream with a crumble. Good sized chunks of nectarine. Another dish that I normally would only have a bite or two of (not a huge sweets person) but it was so light and refreshing, I kept getting the side eye from my hubs when I kept stealing more bites. I have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about Street Social. The chef/co-owner seriously knows what he is doing. It was inventive, playful, and 100% delicious. I can't believe it took us so long to go there, but we have already decided it will become a regular date night spot for us. Petaluma is lucky to have them. Haven't had a meal in town that even comes close.
google avatar

Chris O.

Yelp
We were impressed with every dish we tried, .Huitlacoche & Corn Fritters. Oaxacan Cheese. Spicy Blackberry jam just unreal, beef tongue was shaved and served on seeded sourdough under roe omg, Piri piri prawn appetizers we almost fought over. Confit chicken leg, gem wedge, Grilled Coulotte. Black Garlic A-1. Spinach Puree. Hakurei Turnips. Ramp Kimchi and Parisian Gnocchi and finally the desserts Butterscotch Pot de Creme. Whipped Cream. Maldon and strawberry ice cream with rosemary and..... This place offers a chance to try foods you may never have had, served in such a delicious offering ghat will surprise and reward you.

Yelp
My second time dinning. Called and got a reservation for two ended up upstairs it was amazing The food is some where between fine dinning and bistro and exceptional on both of my visits I will be telling my freinds and coming back soon Price was really reasonable

Yelp
I dined here solo on a week night and very much enjoyed my experience. I was able to get a table without difficulty. The service was excellent and very attentive. The food delicious. So delicious that I ended up ordering four courses and had an impromptu tasting menu. The wine list is thoughtful and I really liked my white Burgundy. The ambiance is intimate and charming. Highly recommend.

Roberta T.

Yelp
I had heard about this place, and I thought it would be an interesting place to try. I reserved a table for four. Upon forgetting to adjust my reservation due to time constraints, the person at the front table had called me. I answered and apologized. This person then yelled at me on the phone, and then abruptly hung up. I don't think we'll be coming here anytime soon. 11/8/23

Kristin T.

Yelp
We were excited to try Street Social, but disappointed with our experience. The food presentations were beautiful, but the actual meals were nothing to rave about.

Lauren B.

Yelp
This is one of the best dining experiences my daughter (age 11) and I have had. We live fine dining without being stuffy and this was perfect. She tried new things and loved everything. We will be back

Anthony K.

Yelp
Great food, top service, ambience plus. Sturgeon, beets, hamachi, Brussels all top notch

Yelp
I came here with my wife recently. My wife has celiac disease. We were pleased that Chef Jevon had an accommodated menu for my wife's needs. We enjoyed the short ribs and our steaks. Majorie provided stellar service taking care of our wine needs. I enjoyed the music and environment here. What's unique about this place is the owners, Majorie and Jevon, take pride in sourcing locally farmed organic foods, including wines. The restaurant is also blacked owned. If you are ever in Petaluma and looking for a stellar dining experience, check out this restaurant.

Yelp
I came here a couple months ago and had such a fantastic experience. Marjorie (sorry if I butchered it) was soooooo cute and sweet- also to learn the back story of this place is just as sweet! Husband and wife team; stoked to support small businesses especially as intimate as theirs. I love their wine selection and the fact that if you like the wine so much you can take a bottle or two home. Local, Sonoma county driven. Still hoping to come in for dinner sometime. Their offerings are so great and seasonal, fresh. Interior is cute and chic. Love you guys.

Thomas M.

Yelp
The food, service and ambiance is special! A great spot for intimate celebrations. Worth a try !

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and take someone you love to Street Social because it is that good. Being and born and raised in the restaurant business I feel confident giving this establishment a 5 star review. Start off with the crispy pig ears and buy a bottle of the fermented chili sauce to take home, you'll thank me later. I ordered scallops and turns out they make them out of turnips. They seared them which gave it the same exact texture of a true scallop, served it with a butternut squash purée that was to die for. Everything about this place is perfect, the front of the house staff is welcoming and professional. Decor is tastefully done and very romantic atmosphere. Please try this place it won't disappoint!

Yelp
We did the chef's table, outside during the covid era at one of 2 tables for the night on a prix fix menu with wine pairings for a date night with my beautiful partner. It. Was. Incredible. There were 5 courses and each one was distinctive, featured ultra local ingredients combined with flavors from places as distinct as Oaxaca, widely known as one of the best foodie regions in the world, and the flavors here did not disappoint in any way. We appreciate memorable food and drinks a lot, and it's very clear they have a commitment to their artistry and craft in both food and impeccable service that's so very rare these days. The vibe here is just so friendly and welcoming. It's very much a treat and privilege to eat here, and if you have the opportunity, we can't recommend it enough. Street social is a true gem and we can't wait to come back many, many more times and make many more memories here.

Paul C.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. A hidden gem in Petaluma. Went for their first small bites late lunch.

Yelp
This is easily one of the best restaurants in the Bay Area. Everything we ordered was incredibly flavorful and delicious, not to mention reasonably priced. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Really nice dining experience. The menu has eclectic options, some dishes were more enjoyable than others. The shrimp with watermelon was especially delicious and unexpected. The wine selection was very good too. And great music passing in the background.

My husband and I visited Street Social last night, and it was an amazing experience. Every dish was lovely and original, and the service was friendly and authentic. The chicken liver mousse toast was one of the best bites I've had all year! We'll definitely be back again and again. Thank you all for creating such beautiful food, and such a welcoming space!

Yelp
I rarely give 5 star reviews but they deserve it. It's amazing food made with local ingredients. Everything is flavorful and fresh. We tried the chicken liver mousse, calamari, fried crab rice with prawns, scallops and finale of milk with cookies. Sorry no photos bc it was so delicious we left nothing on the plate Make reservations as this is a small place that is worth the visit as a lovely local fine dining experience

Yelp
Phenomenal food, outstanding service. Truly exceptional and innovative cuisine, which was both conceptually clever and also simply delicious. Each bit was a home run, every single dish. Wine selection was also thoughtfully selected to create perfect pairings. Very impressed to find this place and will definitely be back! The one drawback was the lack of dessert options, ice cream only. Hopefully in time they'll add a pastry chef. But it looks like they are working out of a tiny kitchen back there. We stopped by Petaluma Pie and that worked out just fine:) Despite the lack of tasty dessert options I can't bear to give them less than 5 stars. Everything else was perfect.

Yelp
Prix fixe fine dining in downtown Petaluma! Located in an alleyway in downtown, Street Social was founded by married couple Marjorie (craft cocktail connoisseur) and Jevon (head chef). Street Social is very small and intimaite; call in advance for an appointment because they seat 12 people per seating. You can choose to eat outside or I side, but definitely choose inside because they have an open kitchen! Their menu changes often, though I thoroughly enjoyed the 5 courses I had (which somehow took 2 hours?!). From albacore to steak with duck eggs to crispy pig ears, chef Jevon displays versatile culinary expertise and Marjorie took great care of us. We even requested Jevon sign our menus! If you're looking for an upscale yet lowkey dining experience in Petaluma, definitely book it at Street Social.
