Street Taco To Go

I really enjoyed my meal here over the weekend. We stumbled across the restaurant while we were walking in the neighborhood and thought we would try some place new. They had a good happy hour collection. The yuca fries were delicious and I loved the freshly made warm tortilla chips and guacamole. The tacos were filling. I’ve already recommended this restaurant to several friends. Our bill for two people with drinks, two appetizers, and two mains came to $78.

A city of famous museums, shopping malls and sports dazzle its visitors with celebrity restaurants, food courts, trucks, and festive displays. The city demonstrates the diversity in all aspects including fashion, culture, food and lifestyle. And Taco’s are really special.

We stumbled upon this place and it DID NOT disappoint!! Dariel was wonderful and incredibly attentive and very knowledgeable about all the food and drinks. He made suggestions that were phenomenal and made sure we made the most of our experience! Very laid-back, chill vibes and the tacos are phenomenal. They also have a great taco and maragrita special on Monday!

Great food, best tacos, great Staff. Diego was a great bartender, was able to accommodate us coming in a few minutes before kitchen closed and was pleasant about it. Definitely will be back, have been going there since it opened and will continue to!

Street Taco, a taqueria and cocktail bar at East 26th and Third Avenue, has announced it will be opening a location on the corner of 102nd and Broadway this summer 2021. The restaurant recently leased the space, located at 2672 Broadway, which was previously occupied by Mexican Festival. Street Taco serves up Mexican street food and a whole bunch of margaritas and other sweet cocktails, with colorful street art in the background. As soon as I walked into this restaurant, I was captivated by the ambiance and decor. They use a lot of neon and warm color lights to add to the urban theme. I ordered the chorizo, pollo asado, tuna tartare, and pork belly tacos. My favorite was probably the pork belly — it tasted like something out of an Asian fusion restaurant. It really challenged the flavor norms of what it means to be a taco — very unique and bold but perfect in every way. I also ordered the Churro donuts which were, again, a unique and bold take on a classic Spanish dessert. Tacos are about $5-6 per piece. They are also pretty small, so if you get 4-5 tacos, you’ll be decently full and only down $20 bucks or so.

Strong drinks and delicious tacos! A perfect pairing. I especially loved the Carne Asada tacos with the Passion Fruit Jalapeño margarita. Great vibes and ambiance with Mexican inspired artwork.

Awesome restaurant for mexican food, specifically tacos of course. Seasoning and flavors are authentic and delicious. Also have a great happy hour. One of my new favorite spots in the neighborhood.
