The shrimp poboy was rock hard. Tasted incredibly burnt & inedible. Who made this, boxed it up & sent it out thinking “what a great sandwich, the person who ordered it is going to love it!” You cannot be serious. Burnt and disgusting. Mac & cheese was okay. I wouldn’t order it again though. & they Forgot my friends ponzu sauce.

This was my first time to visit street side, I had the Streetside Sandwich which was a roast beef on French, the only complaint I have is I wish it came with some gravy. But the roast was so tender and yummy, yes, not the slice roast beef, pot roast, and it was delicious. Will visit again, but not during the workday, so I can try their drinks as well.

By far the nastiest Chinese good ive ever had. The hot and sour soup was the consistency of jello. Its the next day and im still trying to get over the taste. The pepper chicken was more like a soup with all the sauce. Yuck!

The quality of the dishes is what keeps me coming back to this establishment. The waitstaff is cordial and efficient. Plus, I like how new seasonal items are offered to keep the menu fresh. My recommendation is any of the soups. I've tried them all, and they do not miss. Moreover, I can't say enough about the cocktails.

Went here for the first time today, and I was disappointed. I ordered the BS Roll, and it was good but didn't come with any cream cheese as mentioned. The honey chicken photo on their website doesn't look like what I received. The "honey sauce" is extremely thick and tastes like mayonnaise, and the lo mein noodles have no flavor whatsoever. I also ordered the Korean bbq beef for my Daughter, her noodles were tasteless as well, and she didn't care for the taste of the beef either. Spent $50, and the quality of the food just wasn't worth the price for me. Maybe they had an off day, but I won't be returning.

For my birthday I stayed close to home because of the weather. Went to the Streetside Market. This place is awesome! It's located in the downtown district of Hammond. This restaurant was so charming and service was wonderful. Our server was so quick with things and the food came out really fast. It was simply delicious! We had a party of 2 and ordered sweet and sour chicken and chicken lo mein. Very large portions. The chicken chunks in the sweet and sour were huge! Everything was cooked to perfection. I loved the decorations inside and the wide open seating. If you find yourself in downtown Hammond you have to try this place!

2025 - first time - The server was nice and friendly. The atmosphere was unique and the vibe a fun. The food was great.

Atmosphere was everything especially the live music. Service was immaculate. Food was under seasoned. But we still enjoyed it. The menu has so much to choose from. We went with Japanese for him and Greek for myself. The Frose' was pretty good. We will definitely return.

Streetside continues to be one of my go-to favorites. I love my food here especially on Thursdays and Fridays. I usually get the happy hour eggrolls, won ton soup, maybe a crunchy roll for lunch. Eggrolls are the best. Sometimes I will get a Streetside Roll. Lately the sushi has been on point perfecto! Lunch is always pleasant and fun because I have gotten to know some of the staff around the bar area which is great to sit at for lunch. Dinner I usually get more - Streetside Roll OR a WonTon Noodle Soup - which is the best soup on planet earth and the soup of champions. Also, wok box is good. Beef and broccoli. Fried rice is great. Mixed veggies always great. Lo Mein always great. Asian is the strong point here IMO. I like the atmosphere and feel of this restaurant. Always a nice time. Value is acceptable and within reason. One note though - Sweep the floor around tables and booths more, and fully wipe tables and booth seats better. Sometimes there is food from previous party left on booth seats. I do not want to sit on other people's food debris. When you wipe a table it must be fully wiped and then you have to wipe the seats too. Then do a quick sweep of the floor before sitting the next party. Overall: One of the best places around town. I love it!

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, with plenty of seating available. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the visit even better. The food was delicious and came out quickly, which I really appreciated. They also have a variety of food options to choose from. I also went on a Tuesday, when they offer $5 martinis. Overall, it's a great spot for good food, great drinks, and a relaxed vibe.

I wish I could give six stars! My daughter took me here a month ago or so. I have not been able to stop thinking about the sushi tacos since. I know, Sushi tacos?!? These things will change your life. So imagine this.... Spicy tuna and seaweed salad topped with avacado and their secret sauce layered on a delicious perfectly deep fried tortilla. OMG, I wish I could eat these every day. I ordered these with a side salad topped with the best homemade ginger dressing I have ever eaten. I sat at the bar where I enjoyed talking with Austin, who did a great job pouring my Scotch and serving my food. I would call the inside of the restaurant Asian fusion, just like the food. There is a stage where there was a great guitar player singing some really good country tunes. Tonight's dinner was totally an overwhelming success! I totally recommend visiting Streetside. I know I'll be back!

My food is always on point!! My go to is the combination lo mein!!!! Drinks are amazing! The restaurant is always clean! The servers are very friendly and attentive. Overall great service and excellent food!

If you can't decide on whats for dinner this is the place for you. I ordered the margarita pizza and it was really good bc of wood fire. My mom ordered orange chicken and I'm not sure what she got but it was definitely not Asian food. It was good. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly and came with some gravy and a side of fried rice which was the most Asian thing on the plate. If I'm in the area would come in to try sushi or another pizza. Place has a bar and large enough to host larger parties, has a social media wall for those who need to take a pic (or it didn't happen).

The service is good, atmosphere/ambiance is good, and there's different food for everyone so it can accommodate picky eaters. The cowboy sushi roll??? OUTSTANDING. I think the waitress could slap me in the face and call me mean names and I'd still go back just for this roll. I didn't think I'd like it at first but it's so unique and so tasty. My favorite thing to get there hands down (the other stuff there is also yummy too)!!

Let me just say, the Louisiana Bowl is IT!! I've ordered it about seven times in the past two months . I keep telling myself to try something new here, but I can't stay away! If you haven't had it yet or are looking for something different, I promise you won't be disappointed. I recommend it to everyone who visits, and they all love it. Pair it with the egg rolls for the perfect meal--filling but not too heavy!

If you're looking for a new place to try then this place would be worth coming to. They have a very wide range of foods in the menu for you to try from sushi to pizza and so much more in between. Whether you're with your family or friends, there is plenty of seating to accommodate as they have outdoor seating available which is nice if the weather allows. Just plan to wait a bit as we came on a Sunday and the service was a bit slow so I would keep that in mind. Overall I would come back again as I would want to try something else on the menu!

Loved going to street side market! The waitresses there are so sweet and constantly checked on us. I got the Margherita pizza and a cheese pizza! They both were very appetizing. I also got the traditional egg rolls that come 2/per order. They were a must have. My friend got the beef and broccoli that we shared. It was definitely worth the price considering how much they give you. Overall, 10/10. Parking is easy to find. & I love that when you go there are so many options to choose from. No way, you wouldn't be able to find something you like on their wide variety menu.

Nice server, atmosphere, and the food was wonderful! There is a bar with many specialty drinks along with delicious food from different cultures.

Food, atmosphere and service were excellent! I definitely recommend the spinach and artichoke dip or the Rock n roll (not sure if spelling).

Still love this place. Honey Glazed Shrimp and Honey Glazed Chicken was delicious!! Tried my first Cherry Margarita, which was also good. Wasn't a fan of the Mandarin Chicken, but the hubby liked it. Love the staff and atmosphere. Also love that there are SO many food options! It's like 3-4 restaurants in one place! Can't beat that! Plus, big screens to watch the games. Always an added plus! Did I mention the staff was great?? Well, it deserved being repeated! I'd highly recommend you try it out.

We usually eat here 2-3 times a month and it's progressively getting worse. The service is absolutely atrocious, whether they have other tables or not it takes 10-15 minutes for the server to just greet the table then forever to get drinks out as well. we usually order the same thing every-time so we put it all in at once. and after drinks are dropped off to our table we don't see the server again until the check gets dropped off. Today especially our server was at all of her other tables brining them refills and their food ( they were large parties that were sat after us) we waited over an hour for sandwiches, while the big parties that came in after us got all of their food and the server was very active at their tables but couldn't even grab us refills. We ended up canceling the food that didn't come out after waiting roughly 1.5 hours. I understand food taking longer than normal on a busy day but when a server doesn't even walk past your table or acknowledge you it feels as though the wait staff should be trained better.

New town new food. Close to New Orleans famous beignets and was told to try this place out. First if all I was immediately pleased because they fry the beignets right in front of you FRESH & HOT. cool concept for a restaurant also cause it's 4 in 1. Definitely enjoyed it and it's on my list of places to return to.

Service was slow. I asked for a cup of coffee after my meal. It finally showed up warm in a styrofoam cup. Not impressed by anything there. The A/C vent was dripping down on my girlfriend while we were eating. When we told them about it they acted like we were aliens.

Came with a group as it was recommended due to the variety of options on the menu. The interior was quirky but cute. There were little "stations" like a market but you are seated and provided with menus as if you are at a singular restaurant. As the menu suggests "Global Cuisine," it is indeed expansive and eclectic. Some of those in the party got sushi. Some got Chinese. Some got sandwiches and fries, and one got pizza. I had the beef and broccoli and shared the side of lo mein with my daughter. Both dishes were good but nothing blew me away. The food was also not served at the same time, which was kind of disappointing. Everyone at the table seemed to enjoy what they ordered, and the company was good. The service was also really good, which is ultimately why I've given it 4 stars overall. If I get the chance to return, I'll definitely try something new!

Pretty cool concept. Waitress (Emily) was good! The wine was horrible and the food was mediocre. I do not recommend the roast beef poboy.

great experience! went in an hour before closing and was sat promptly and had great service, food, drinks and we were out within an hour! it was already beautifully decorated for christmas and the holiday menu was cute!

We were seated right away even tho it was a prom night. Our young male server was nice, friendly and knowledgeable. Super good food! Will be back

Service is slow friday with about 20 people food took 30 min and husband finished food tacos burned and wasnt updated at all about food timing . Just overall not as great as it usually is soup was good when it arrived

Great Lunch and happy hour specials. The sushi and egg rolls are the best part but also everything else is very good.

This review is about the Japanese food; this is a place with many different cuisines to choose from and I only tried one. However my family tried other cuisines and all liked their food. The $14 "seafood salad" is basically a sashimi bowl. It is a very generous amount of very fresh sashimi for a low cost. It's served with veggies and a delicious sauce. I recommend ordering a side of sushi rice with it. Next time I'm in Hammond I'm going to go back and get the exact same meal! The service was prompt, there was a wait to get in on a Friday night and a text list that let you know when your table was ready, it was really packed with a lot of kids, and there was live music going on. Not my ideal environment but it seems they must just be popular which is good.

Everything has been good that I have tried! Beef and broccoli the ramen, and sushi is so delicious! Service is always good, young people and the atmosphere is really neat!

A group of 15 for Sunday lunch and the service was very good. Everything delivered was excellent, I highly recommend it.

This place is way overrated. The food was meh. There are much better options nearby. You're really only paying for the atmosphere which has a college bar vibe.

I love streetside but my eggrolls tonight were terrible. They were so grease. The oil on the box is from the eggrolls sitting on it.

I loved that there is a variety of food options such as Pizza, Sushi, Chinese, etc. I was there with a group of 6 and the service was great. I ordered the Tong Cho chicken with rice. It was amazing. I absolutely loved the decor for the season.

Streetside is one of the best places to eat in Hammond. Personally I have tried each of the sushi places in Hammond and Streetside is the best. Service is always great, in addition food comes out stupid fast and I love it! Highly recommend and not to mention but the cougar club is pretty good too.

Excellent service & delicious food every time! Our waiter was so friendly & attentive. The specialty cocktails were so so so yummy!! Truly a MUST STOP for a good time in Hammond.

Best shrimp fried rice ever! Loved the wok taste, which is rare to find. Delish honey chicken (like honey mustard, instead of traditional) husband had the Asian soup which was also delicious. Plenty of food

This is definitely the place to go if you can't decide what you want to eat. My boyfriend and I go here every so often. This time I got a Poké bowl and o m g.The food is so fresh and yummy. Love going during Christmas time because of the decorations and vibes. Awesome servers too!! Worth every penny!

Great place for lots of different foods items. Different sections cook different types of food from Asian to pasta and pizza. The ambiance is fantastic with great music, lots of TVs and open seating for great conversation. The wait staff is fast and knowledgeable.

A place to grab a bite. But not a pleasant environment. No ambience at all. Noisy, dirty. No thanks.

This place has to be the best addition to Hammond ever. We've been twice in 2 weeks. First, they have the Best Bloody Mary EVER (add Sriracha), made by Ashley (she works Wed and Thurs lunch at the bar). She puts some serious magic in those things. She uses like A1, Guinness, OJ, all kinds of weird stuff. It's so damn good. She also muddled homemade mix for a Margarita because she was out of the mix. It was probably one of the best Margs we've ever had. She is the real deal. So far we've had the Kimchee Salmon bowl, which is KILLER! Didn't know if I'd like the sweet potato noodles, as I hate sweet potato, but they were DELICIOUS! We also got the Shrimp PO Boy, which is probably one of the best we've ever had also. That. Bread. Damn. Next time we got the Crawfish Dip, the Downtown Pizza, the Classic Red Vine Pizza and the Cuban. Now, first, I hate that the menu doesn't tell you what's in the apps. Had to ask the bartender to describe every one. But, that Crawfish Dip was AWESOME. Cheesy, full of crawfish and they served it with PORK RINDS to dip with!! Holy crap! The pizza crust is damn near perfect. My boyfriend makes homemade crust, so I'm pretty picky. That wood fired oven makes it perfectly crispy but chewy. They use shredded mozz, and a bit too much of it, for the Downtown. The Red Vine uses fresh mozz. It was WAY better. Next time we'll do the ones with fresh mozz. The Cuban was pretty killer too. Just a sandwich, but really good. The fries were outstanding, and I'm not really a fry girl. All in all, we LOVE the ambience here, the staff is super friendly and the food and drinks are great. NEW FAVORITE PLACE!!

I love the Chinese food but you can go wrong with anything! The service is not amazing but okay. The ambiance is quite chaotic with 3-4 restaurants running at the same time.
