Came in for a late lunch and it did not disappoint.
Not a sports person so I was a little iffy coming here but glad I did. Service was top tier - enthusiastic, knowledgeable, attentive and expedient.
I overheard service speaking with a customer and apparently if there's a game on it gets pretty packed, but it wasn't wheb I was there.
I tried their southpaw sour and a cider. Both of these are amazing. The cider is a pink and is such a beautiful profile - with floral and fruity notes, I'd be interested to know what apples the brewers used for it. The sour is fruity and earthy - reminds me of Phoenix brewing in Ohio, a sour they made call wardens pie. Very good I recommend both.
For food I got the special - rainbow trout tacos, pretzel and onion rings (1/2 order).
Onion rings are thick sliced and peppery. Love them.
Pretzel was alright - I wouldn't call home over it but I also wouldn't kick it out of bed. I think I would like it bettet with mustard. It's a pillowy soft pretzel loaded with salt , comes with a housemade beer cheese thats alright.
Tacos were very good. Only things I would gripe on is they carried a lot of fluid in them so they were mad drippy, and also offering corn tortillas if customer would prefer. Other than that, the trout was so good, and there's really only minutia to nitpick. I recommend these.
They do crowlers - the crowlers for the southpaw are 25.4 oz not 32.
All in all, it's welcoming, spacious, and has some high quality brews with great service. Recommend.
