The brewery has a massive patio with picnic tables, views of the Statue Of Liberty, and groups comparing flights on Saturdays in the summer like they get paid to debate the intricacies of sour IPAs and summer ales. Plan a Red Hook excursion, and then spend several hours here. "Chaat Dog @ Strong Rope Brewery / Fridays, 3-9pm, All Summer Chaat Dog makes Chicago-style hot dogs with a South Asian twist. Think dogs topped with puffed rice and tamarind sauce, or mint chutney and pineapple. (They aren't really strict about the South Asian thing either—you'll see things like poblano, crudo, and chili crisp too.)
