Where to Eat Around Rutgers | Eater NY

"Ensconced in a rambling frame house where diners can sit in any one of a series of small rooms, Stuff Yer Face was founded in 1977 and has fed generations of Rutgers students. This is real college hang, bursting with character and history. Its specialty is the stromboli, or “boli” for short: a Sicilian specialty made by wrapping pizza dough around a collection of Italian and Italian American cold cuts and cheeses. Tomato sauce on the side is optional for dipping, and craft beers on tap are another highlight." - Robert Sietsema

A Rutgers University classic it’s almost like I don’t even have to write a review. I feel like this restaurant is the core of Collegetown food. It’s a bar with obnoxious alcohol orders, and the most crave worthy Stromboli’s in the state, often referred to as just a ‘boli. I had to put the service down to two stars not because of the wait staff or for the people that work there; they are fantastic but more because you have to understand that your Stromboli will be made cooked to order and that can take quite a long time to wait so don’t go to stuff yer face when you’re already hungry. Keep in mind that it’s gonna be a significant wait for you to eat something when you sit down I also love their potachos for this reason they come out quicker and can help stay off the Hangry until you’re most delicious boli arrives

Since October 1977, Stuff Yer Face has been prominently the home to Stuffed Strombolis. The original Stromboli consisted of Onions, Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, and Green Peppers on a 9-inch roll of Pizza Dough. In 2009, Adam Richman of Man vs. Food stopped at this same location in New Brunswick to make his own, 2-pound stromboli that was revolutionary in showcasing the efforts of creativity that they offer with customized strombolis. When it comes to ths Strombolks they offer at this location, they are great, and are easily some of the best food items you could find in all of New Brunswick. The Meatball Stromboli is among the most the best they can offer, but the other varieties will be just as filling. The one star that was retracted, however, deals with the service. I was told it would take at least 15 minutes to get my food, but it took close to 17 minutes to get the food, and the sports bar environment made us travelers from New York City more tired and ready to just depart with our order. Despite that concern, this place is definitely a great place in the heart of the campus of Rutgers University. Next time, I will come in here to dine in.

I've been at Rutgers as a student and faculty member for close to 50 years. Finally, ate at stuff yer face. Yummy.

Loved this place then and still love it now years later. If anything, this place is consistent. They might be known for their Stromboli's but I come for the potachos and you should too. I've tried them all and they're good but this time I got the buffalo wing and even my most picky friend enjoyed them. We also got the app sampler (chicken fingers, Mac and cheese bites, mozzarella sticks) and a fish bowl is an absolute must. Always guaranteed a good time with good food.

So, what can I say about this place? I’ve had this place on my to do list for years and was super excited to come. Had to look for street parking, which is a deterrent, but it didn’t take too long. The hostess wasn’t really welcoming or friendly, but I just chalk that up to being a young college kid probably. So I’m not deducting any points for that. Our server was friendly and attentive. The inside looked a little old, but I think that just went along with the vibe. The outside looked fun, but they weren’t seating out there and it looks like this place is probably pretty hopping on the weekend with kids. The drinks looked fun, but I didn’t try any. Now to the food. The small boli and the medium boli are the same price except with a small one, you can get a soup, or a salad, which I find fair. The only problem is that they only had two soup choices, and neither one of them was a vegetarian option, so I was stuck with a salad when I would’ve preferred a soup. Not a biggie but disappointed. Now the bolis: They came out, fresh and hot, but the only problem was when they laid them down in the basket, all the cheese was falling out, so everything had to be shoved back in. They shouldn’t lay them down, they should stand them up if that is an issue. I didn’t feel like there was enough flavor or sauce inside. I’m not really a put salt on your food type of person but I just felt like something was lacking here. I should have asked for a little side of sauce because I definitely feel that wasn’t enough. The crust was perfectly cooked. It had a nice crunch as well as a softness to it. I’m not dogging this place and would definitely suggest for people to try it out but I’m just glad it’s off my list and that I got to experience it at least once. As far as the vegetarian choices, they are mixed in with all of the other choices, so you really have to go looking through everything to find your options.

Google
This used to be our favorite place in college, and taking a trip down memory lane, it did not disappoint! We came on a Monday night in the summer and were some of the only people here. Our server was fantastic and fast. We hardly had to wait for drinks and food. We had the pulled pork potachos, which were crispy and loaded with pulled pork. They were a tad on the spicy side. Both my husband and I enjoyed our bolis. He had the super regular size, I had the meatball and eggplant baby boli combo. I found the combo to be the perfect size with the appetizer, and we ended up taking food home. Don’t come here expecting fine dining, but it’s fantastic bar food at a price that’s hard to beat. Can’t wait to come back!

Peanut butter and jelly burger, absolutely 5 stars, delicious. Fries very crispy as well.

We were in New Brunswick for something and always wanted to go to this famous place that has been featured on many tv shows. Great food at a very reasonable price outside tables as well, the place just has a good vibe to it and would go back again.

Yelp
Great place at Rutgers for some good eats (so many strombolis to choose from!!) and strong fishbowls! I've heard so many rave reviews about Stuffs from friends who went to RU and the Stromboli's absolutely did not disappoint, and boy did the fish bowls live up to their strong reputation! This is a great place to stop in if you're looking for some casual eats (and great Stromboli) in the NB area. They also have a good beer menu with a good variety. To start, we got the bruschetta which was a bit too creamy/mayo-y (I believe it's listed as an aioli) for me but the tomatoes and olives on the bread saved the day. I would probably try a different starter next time, as I wasn't super impressed with the bruschetta. But all good, definitely had an open mind and was excited for my mushroom Stromboli!! No surprise that they are known for their Stromboli, it SLAPPED! My Stromboli was so delicious and the flavor was absolutely there. It tasted like the perfect veggie pizza but inside a warm mozzarella filled Stromboli. Eating it fresh and hot was such an experience. I was so impressed. You get to choose between three different sizes. I went for the 9 inch (medium) but was pretty full after eating half of it. Definitely recommend to vegetarians who love mushrooms!!! :) The Ranch wrap was tasty as well and came with delicious crispy French fries! We also loved the banana bread beer. But oh my, those fishbowls are STRONG. Rutgers students are built different, and I applaud yall for taking them like champs lol.

Yelp
When in New Brunswick, stop at Stuff Yer Face! The bullies are such an outstanding meal. I went with a chicken and mushroom boli (it's actually a steak and mushroom boli with chicken instead of steak). It was very good!

Yelp
Stuff yer face is a New Brunswick classic. Located in the heart of the town on a busy street, parking can be an issue. It's not too far from Rutgers University, so often you will find a college crowd here but usually will see all types of crowds that frequent this place. What this place is known for is their strombolis or famously called "Bolis." If you're in New Brunswick or the area, this is the place to go. They have other foods as well but if you're here you must have the Bolis. They have a variety of different options to choose from but I usually make my own with my choice of toppings. If you do decide to make your own, I recommend getting the Chipotle ancho sauce but get that on the side. It's a game changer. The outside crust of the boli is nice and crispy but perfectly soft on the inside. The chipotle sauce is amazing and the other fillings are really good. If I have people visiting out of town, I always try to take them here. Inside it's not much to see but it gives off a typical dive bar type setting. There's seating at the bar but they have more seating with a downstairs and upstairs area. When the weather is nice they do have an outdoor section, with an outdoor bar, that's nice to be at. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. If you want to try other foods, they have potachos which are nachos with potato chips that are really good. As for drinks, they are known for their "fish bowls." Which during my college days used to be served in a fish bowl shaped pitcher. Now it's just in a regular pitcher but as for the taste it's just a sugary drink with a lot of alcohol. Good for the college days but maybe not my preference anymore. But they have an extensive beer selection and at decent prices as well. If you're looking for nice cocktails this may not be the place to go though. One of my favorite places in New Brunswick and definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
The strombolis are very good, I enjoy the cheeseburger Stromboli. The drinks there are also pretty good. It can be noisy but it's in a college town so it's to be expected

Yelp
This is your classic and perfect college dive bar/restaurant that is never a bad time and always serving up good food. My order has not changed much from the Ru days: obviously one of the bolis, an order of potachos for the table and a ridiculously large fishbowl (that I probably did not share). So okay, I swapped fish bowls for beers but potachos (think nachos but with sliced potatoes instead of chips) and the bolis are a given. If you want to turn those potachos up a notch, add pulled pork. My advice is to get a bunch of bolis and share with everyone so you can try a few different ones, but some personal favorites are the lasagna and the eggplant bolis. Just thinking of the cheese and the crispy pizza bread is making me ready to plan my next trip. They have tables and lots of bar space inside with a great outside area as well. Depending on the day of the week or time of year, it can get rowdy or be nice for a fun lunch, either way it is a vibe. It's nestled oh so perfectly on Easton Ave and is (or at least was, but I am confident still is) the go to spot for students going out a night or day drinking. It's fun, the food is good, and the drinks are cheap. I freakin' love Stuff.

Yelp
Don't order salad. The salads are awful and have zero nutrition - whitish iceberg M lettuce and a couple of sad carrots and cucumbers. If you're looking for a gooey, dense Stromboli, you'll be content. Was hopeful because the reviews are good, but I've pretty much never had a truly good meal near Rutgers (minus ramen)

Yelp
Stuff Yer Face has for a long time been established as an iconic food haven, in college terms. This marks it's 667th Yelper review... don't mind that I do! I recently visited here for a taste of nostalgia. As an undergrad student umpteen years ago, I can recall many a drunken night after enjoying a ginormous fish bowl drink to myself. These days the fishbowl continues to be one of their staple menu items although the drink is now served in a tall pitcher rather than the prototypical round-shaped bowls like back in the day (I'm aging myself). The flavors are still hittin'. This time around, though, I decided to share rather than neck the entire pitcher - because nobody wants to see a middle aged drunk lady strolling up Easton Ave doing the Watusi ( even if she is a happy drunk ). Plus, "sharing is caring," thus sayeth my liver. Another thing that continues to hold true after all these years is that Stuff Yet Face still holds the crown in my heart reigning supreme as the highest caliber Boli king. I reflect back and can't think of one single time I've had a better Boli elsewhere EVER. I love how their Boli's outer crust gets perfectly crisp in the oven yet super thin, and it comes STUFFED. The Ingredients are well-balanced and always taste fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed sitting in the spacious outdoor seating area which must've been added some point after my undergrad years. The only thing it needed was a vibe, some music or ambience. String lights and dart board would be a nice touch.

Yelp
Dependable. Satisfying food. It's Stromboli, so satisfying. Great selection. Consistently good. Service is good. Comfortable. Nice college but diverse overall customer environment. Pierogi app is tasty. Just somewhere we feel comfortable returning to again and again. We know it will be a pleasant meal and evening.

Yelp
I came here after hearing all the buzz, and I was pretty underwhelmed. The food was just ok, and so was our waitress. The sitting area needed to be swept, and it wasn't busy. I'm not interested in coming back.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is so dirty and not maintained. It's like a dump. Scuffed moldings, dirty windows, areas that need to be repainted, food and liquid splattered on walls and pictures, black kick marks on doors. It's funny actually. If the front-of-the-house looks like this, I could only imagine what the back-of-the-house looks like. Very, very bad. Shameful actually.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food! Nice ambience. Definitely enjoyed my time here with my bro just catching up and enjoying each others company. Bar tender was nice and my drink was perfect. Can't wait to be back to try different menu items.

Yelp
Came here a few weeks ago so this is a late review. Sometimes when seeing a show at The State Theater you just need to Stuff something in yo mouth. Well this was one of those times and as always stuffing a boil in your mouth is very satisfying. I went for the baby boil and salad combo to try to be a bit healthier than my past visits. The salad was surprisingly nice with fresh veggies. The Baby Boil was yummy and made me feel warm and happy. The service at the bar was spot on and the ambiance is exactly as I always remember it. Solid 4 star experience!

Yelp
I didn't really come here too often during college. However, the fishbowl is legendary here. Makes for really good conversations and it's delicious and affordable. Caught up with a friend here and had a great time!

Yelp
Rosebud! One of us went to Rutgers--ahem--twenty years ago and wanted a lil ole trip down memory lane with her family when driving down 95 on the way to the shore. Where better to stop than Rutgers and where better to eat than at its classic joint? We were sat in the bar area, which was a bummer since we would have preferred upstairs but there was a wait. Three of us shared a pitcher of beer that was icy cold, so kudos for that. The boli, let's be honest, just wasn't that good. Two of us shared the meatball & eggplant one and the pizza exterior was like cardboard it was so dry. The filling was...OK? Let's just say that nostalgia makes a very good sauce. Our daughter's kid's pizza looked like it just came out of a Gatti's oven. Service was pretty bare-boned but she got the job done. We had a fun time here catching up with our visiting cousin, and we enjoyed the ambience, but no need to subject the family to college days cuisine again.
google avatar

Sarah H.

Yelp
The bolis and patatchos were fantastic! The service was just okay but this hit the spot cause we were looking for big and greasy food
google avatar

Sylvie C.

Yelp
Prompt and friendly service, hot and fresh food, fun decors. Not much to complain about our visit on a Sunday late lunch. I got a meatball Stromboli and BBQ shredded Stromboli. The latter was too sweet and cheese not melted all the way. The dough was nice and yeasty. I like how nothing fell out or tasted too soggy. There's not really street parking so it's best to park in the nearby garage. I wouldn't mind coming again if I am in the area for whatever reasons.
google avatar

Nathaniel P.

Yelp
TLDR: This is a place if you're looking for cheap drinks that don't necessarily taste great, but get you drunk fast! Came here in a small group of friends looking for drinks. We shared three pitchers: Horny Hawaiian, blue bang, and island escape. None of them were the best tasting drinks in the world, but they definitely get your pretty drunk fast! The Horny Hawaiian tasted mostly of sour mix and was quite sour. Service was a little slow and I think it's because we were sat in the corner of the front of the restaurant whereas most of the customers were either outside or elsewhere but our waitress was very kind. We also never received napkins. Will come back to try the food!
google avatar

Ian M.

Yelp
The boli capital of New Jersey! Stuff Yer Face, like much of the surrounding area, doesn't look like much on the outside. But underneath its modest facade is a made-to-order Stromboli joint that can be a fun drink spot as well. I've had quite a few bolis on the menu, which range from a small 6" combo to an enormous 18" monster. You can go with one of the tried and true flavor combos on the menu, or build your own with up to five toppings. As a meat lover, I'm known to double up the bacon or pepperoni on a build your own. It's worth noting that this can be a popular spot for the college crowd (or their families) , so during the school it can get packed on certain evenings. Going off peak never seems to cause this problem. There's a parking deck close by as well, so no need to navigate the terrible street parking experience.

Yelp
Good pub food with many selections. Tons of boli type sandwiches. Many beer selections. My main gripe is the price of everything which seems to go up every time I visit. I still visit from time to time but will do so less and less as the prices continue to climb.
google avatar

Erica C.

Yelp
First time in the area, the service was quick and the waitress was attentive. The potachoes is definitely a recommended appetizer! Also had some leftovers to take home!
google avatar

Aishwarya S.

Yelp
BEST PLACE. I have so many fond college memories here. Great vibes and service and the food is fun. Bar food. My favorite is the potacho, French onion soup was delicious and the strombolis are delicious. The drinks are fun and what I remember most from college but as an alum I realize they have the best of it all
google avatar

Marie M.

Yelp
So many different items. Great, hot and fresh Stromboli. The bartender was running around like crazy but was awesome! She somehow tended to every table and bar patron. The decor is awesome. I would go there again. For sure!
google avatar

Vince H.

Yelp
This place came highly recommended and a "staple" of the New Brunswick area. I ordered a sausage boli. The large was ~9" , and the baby size was still plenty. Overall, it was great! it was hot and fresh, and the dough on the outside looked dry, but did not taste dry whatsoever. We also got an order of the potachos which was basically nachos with fresh potato chips and they were great!
google avatar

Jahnavi Y.

Yelp
Easton Ave would not be the same without Stuffs!! I always bring my friends here when they're visiting campus. And even though Stuff Yer Face became famous for its Strombolis, my friends and I always come here for their Potachos and Fish Bowls! They currently have indoor and outdoor dining! They're no longer taking reservations, but when we went around 6pm, it was fairly empty so no wait time. I highly recommend the Pulled Pork Potachos (or even the beef ones if you like beef better). The Potachos are guaranteed to satisfy your craving for greasy food. I would avoid the Chicken Wing Potachos though as they put carrots and and other odd vegetables in it. Personally, I don't like too many vegetables in my Potachos. They also have 4 options for their infamous Fishbowls! My absolute favorite is the Horny Hawaiian- it's the perfect balance between strong & delicious and tastes like orange juice. Just don't forget to mix your Fishbowl before you take a sip! Stuff Yer Face is a Rutgers staple- MUST go here whenever you're in the area!
google avatar

Carlos M.

Yelp
Looking for a snack that's satisfying and good drinks? This is somewhere that you can hangout and do just that! Great environment and atmosphere here. Good selection of drinks and the food is filling! Can't say that I am convinced strombolis are the best but can't say I didn't enjoy mine. Come out and give it a try if you haven't! Or come back for more if you have!
google avatar

Mike A.

Yelp
My favorite place to get Stromboli's! One of the most popular spots on Rutgers campus for sports games, good food, and just to hang out. They have an endless number of bolis to the point where you probably will want to try them all. My favorites are The 4 Cheese, The Laura, and The Man v Food Boli! Also give the Potachoes and Fish Bowls a try!
google avatar

Payal P.

Yelp
This restaurant definitely gets the Rutger's crowd. There was an Ohio State vs Rutgers game and a slew of post game day spectators flocked to this establishment. We ordered a round of chicken wings which were way too saucy. I was highly unimpressed by their signature Stromboli. It was extremely dry. I ended up dipping the Stromboli in the leftover blue cheese.
google avatar

Marc F.

Yelp
Called ahead for takeout on my way through town. I ordered the fireman's boli and my cousin ordered the buffalo chicken boli. Good luck making a choice on the menu because their offerings all sound great. We both got the large (9") and that was more than enough food for each of us. The fireman's boli was a little too greasy but it does have gabagool and pepperoni in it so I guess that makes sense. Order was waiting for us when we got there 20-25 minutes after ordering. Def give this place a try if you're in the mood for a stromboli.
google avatar

Misha T.

Yelp
Loveeeeeee their strombolis. Soooo many options to choose from and so fresh and yummy. Comes out piping hot with melty cheese. You can choose to put whatever toppings you want in your stromboli. The staff is super nice. Wait time isnt long eigther. And it is suchhh a cute bar.
google avatar

Laureen Y.

Yelp
I ordered for pickup, it was ready within 20 mins. I ordered sausage broli, pulled pork potachos, and original potachos. It is my first time going. I have heard about this place from my sister and informed me that they are known for their potachos and fish bowl drinks. It is very hard to find parking spot so I went in to get our food while the other person waited in the car. The sausage broli was so juicy. I should have gotten just one potachos but the other potachos sounded delicious. The pulled pork potachos had a spice in it since it contained jalapeno. The potachos were big portion, and super crispy chips.
google avatar

Joel M.

Yelp
Great place. Bar with a family restaurant feel. Monday Night Trivia is a blast! Enjoy the great food and trivia!
google avatar

Sunil L.

Yelp
Really over priced sandwich For half the price - it would be a different ballgame I would still like it more stuffed and well cooked and a spice on the side with napkins May be others are having a better experience as this place was packed and people enjoying the food. Could be just this order. Food was tasty but not memorable in anyway. I would take a slice over this anytime.
google avatar

Jonathan S.

Yelp
Service is "okay", so don't expect a 5 star experience. Bathrooms are...well...use at your own risk. So why give it a 5 star rating? Food is excellent! Prices are great. Drink and beer selections are awesome. I love the atmosphere. Go with family and friends and you'll have a great time!
google avatar

Sabrina S.

Yelp
I usually only come to Stuff Yer Face for fishbowls and drinks as a pregame for the night, but this time I sat down and ate some from its menu for dinner. I had to try its famous bolis (and get some starch in my stomach), so I decided to get the mushroom baby boli which also came with a salad or soup. I decided to try to french onion soup after my friend recommended me about how great it tasted. The french onion soup was really good, topped with a layer of melted cheese that oozes onto the soup below. I think it just had a little too much onion in the actual soup for me, as I prefer more soup. My baby boli was the perfect size and filled me up (the regular boli is huge!), and I loved the ingredients inside it. It was also a pretty decent price for the meal for the amount of food you get. Definitely will get food again if I am craving a boli or need to prep for a wild night with loads of starch!
google avatar

Sanjana S.

Yelp
As a Rutgers alumni, this place never fails to disappoint! Always energetic, fun interior and menu with oh so much food! Their original potachos is such a creative concept of potato chip nachos and are a must have to snack on while drinking one of their famous fishbowls. The Horny Hawaiian is the best but make sure to ask for less ice! Their bolis are also really tasty, I always vouch for the Laura boli with a side salad for a nice vegetarian option.
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
First i want to start by saying that stuff yer face is false advertising The menu prices are off by $3-$4 Misleading It needs to be updated Maybe start by terminating the manager for not doing his job properly with staying on top of things And like most other restaurants The quality of the food is unacceptable No wonder its mot as busy as it used to be Food is trash Order the broccoli bites and see if theres any broccoli in there Talk about misleading Avoid eating here And if you go there for beer Check the expiration date on that since management isnt doing anything right Place turned into a real dump
google avatar

Hillary D.

Yelp
First time visiting! Quick service and definitely the college bar atmosphere. Food was all super hot and I left feeling stuffed - will be back again

Yelp
My friends and I came to SYF after the Rutgers vs. Penn State game a couple of weeks ago. Myself and my friends are all Penn State alum (PSU won that day) and the staff was still super nice, which is impressive because I've traveled to many away games where even the staff, who are paid to be present and are to tend to polite customers equally, have been rude to us. The students you can't say to much about, but what can you do. We were being respectful and minding our own business, because we know how these things go, and many patrons were just plain rude, like dude you guys just lost, let's just all drink together and be cool, like chill. Anywho the line for this joint was out the door just to put your name in for a table, so this must be the "place to be" during or after games. Over all we had fun. The downstairs bar was really cramped, but I'm sure that's not always the case when it's warmer out and they can use the patio. But let's get to the Stromboli's-- holy cow there were literally a million different options. You name it, they've got it. And if they don't they can make it for you. Most (if not all except for maybe two) of the Stromboli's had onions listed in the ingredients which is pretty braised considering a good number of people are picky about onions. I got the Corbett Blue because it was the only one I could find without onions. It came with chicken, Mozz, broc, and honey mustard. It sounds odd, but it was good I swear. I'm sure I could've just asked for onions, but I really didn't want to be a pain. Overall I'm glad we stopped by, the food and service was good and worth the 45 minute wait for a table.

Yelp
My family introduced me to this place and it was surprisingly really good. Now it's always busy tho, I guess everyone found this once overlooked hidden gem. The prices are reasonable and the food is quite flavorful and comes in decent portions. The service is okay. The only complaint really is the college students being annoying. I love the drinks! You will too, trust me. They give you soooo much to drink, and it taste like juice on a good day. Please drink with a friend because it will get you drunk fast, even with a friend. I read some reviews talking about their experiences and it does confuse me to see some people didn't like the taste but I guess everyone has their own opinion but I would have to disagree. It's one of the best locations in New Brunswick and that says a lot considering how many great restaurants are their. It's perfect for what it is and i think that should come in consideration. A drunk food place.
google avatar

Christopher K.

Yelp
Wow, either I got it really wrong six years ago, or it was just a fluke event in the kitchen. SYF is, and has been for years, at the top of its game. Possibly even better than I remember it growing up as a kid, and I LOVED this place as a kid. The Original Boli is where it's at. I can barely finish the regular size -- especially if I'm saving room for Thomas Sweet next door. Boli Gods please forgive my previous review. This place is and always will be da bomb!
google avatar

Arisha J.

Yelp
Outdoor seating is nice vibes for happy hour hour w a few friends after work. We got the spicy beef potachos to share which were probably my fav part of the meal, potato chips instead of actual nachos and toppings were good. The arango boli was a little too heavy on the cheese for me, maybe I should have picked another one but I couldn't finish mine!

Yelp
We visited Stuff Yer Face after years... simply because I have zero self control when I come here and leave feeling ridiculously stuffed! I was craving some fries and without a doubt, Stuff has one of the best in town. The fries changed slightly in that they're thicker, but still crispy and darn delicious!!! Craving satisfied! We stuck with the classic order - fries and a stromboli and our bellies and hearts left satisfied. Coming from a gal that rarely enjoys bar food, I am always a happy camper here. Order a side (or two!) of the ancho chipotle sauce - you can literally put that 'ish on anything.

Yelp
Delicious. Great bolis. Had a Fireman's, a Big Mic, and a pizza boli. French fries and french onion soup were also great. They even have RC cola. The Rutgers students are lucky to have this place on campus.

Yelp
Great service, college atmosphere. Food is very good. Lots of craft beer options but served in cans. We had the perogies, exotic fries and french onion soup. The soup was not salty and the perogies and fries with cheese a bacon was delicious. I chose the Alligash on tap to wash down the delicious food. Expect a wait on football weekends but it's worth the wait! I recommend "Stuff Yer Face" when in new Brunswick!

Yelp
This place is super popular around the Rutgers area and I've been here a handful of times. The strombolis are seriously good and the dough is perfect. However since they're fresh made, you'll probably be waiting a bit longer than an average restaurant wait- about 25-30 mins, but it's pretty worth it. My one complaint is about their potachos, a really good appetizer they have that consists of fresh made potato chips with nacho toppings. We got the pulled pork potachos and they do taste really good, but the toppings don't last long. Once you've had the top "layer" of chips, everything underneath is dry and devoid of stuff to eat it with. It would be really nice if they did a layer of toppings, so you don't have so many plain chips, especially since it's a little pricey for an app.

Yelp
Well, hum, wings were good. But it's a college bar, for me personally I'm not a big drinker and this place reeks of spoiled alcohol and everything is sticky. I'm sure if I was a college student it would be my go to place, but as an adult not for me.

Yelp
Always happy to come here and get one of the Bolis. If you come here, be sure to try the bolis and a fishbowl!

Yelp
So what's better than Nachos?...We know, "Potachos!" Something we just discovered. Everyone is used to having the classic Nachos. Topped with all of our favorite things, like onions, peppers, jalapenos, refried beans, & most of all, cheese! It's a go to snack & we can't blame anyone, Nachos are always a crowd pleaser. In fact, we tend to always start off with them when available but recently discovered something similar but even more fun & tastier. So, today instead of just going out & starting off with some Nachos, let's try some "Potachos!" Now, what are "Potachos" & where can you get them? These are exclusively served at "Stuff Yer Face" in New Brunswick, New Jersey. "Potachos" are made out of potatoes & sliced finely & fried, kind of like nice thin chips. They put them on a platter & top them off with bacon, tomatoes, onions, chives, sour cream, & covered in cheddar cheese. They are crunchy, full of texture, & bursting with flavor when biting with all of the toppings. They really do put Nachos to shame. In additon, we also ordered "Quesadilla Rolls" which are small rolls filled everything quesadilla. They are filled with mesquite chicken, Montery Jack cheese, jalapenos, onions, all wrapped in a flour tortilla & deep fried. These are a really great choice as well at "Stuff Yer Face." If anything, why not get these alongside your "Potachos." "Stuff Yer Face" is a really fun place to have lunch, dinner, & drinks. It's a very youthful place as it's located right by the Rutgers University New Brunswick campus but it is also very family friendly. Great staff & good service, it's a comfortable place. You should really be making arrangements to pay this place a visit & have these "Potachos" amongst other menu items. You can also follow us on Instagram for more at @LittleLocalTaste.

Yelp
Great for satisfying food in a casual atmosphere! Disappointed that the location on Rt.18 closed. Parking is not easy in New Brunswick!

Yelp
Classic New Brunswick hotspot. Stuff is closely associated with my fond Rutgers memories. I came back recently with a group of friends. It's still the same old - a little dark and dingy and sticky tables, but all much expected from Stuff. The service is alright and the vibes are pretty chill. I got the Roth Boli which is a chicken, bacon, ranch, tomato Stromboli. They're known for their Stromboli's. I don't find it that unique, but they taste alright anyway. It's filling. The spicy beef potachos is a new potachos added to the menu since I last visited. My friend got it. There's a lot of flavors going on at once. It's just a tiny hint of spicy. I would stick to the original potachos next time! Also, I didn't get fishbowls (60 oz. of sugary alcohol jungle juice) this time, but that is another Stuff staple. I did note the price is now raised to $21 ($16 before that). Decent food, good drinks, fun place to gather with people! Stuff is a classic, and I'll always be coming back.
